"In the bylanes of Fort sits Deluxe, one of the few places you can enjoy a Kerala-style vegetarian sadhya lunch on a banana leaf. Both the avial (mixed vegetables cooked with coconut and yogurt) and the parippu (lentil curry) are worth second helpings. Order a plate of prawn fry and karimeen fry (pearlspot fish) as sides. Don’t be afraid to eat with your hands; it’s the only way to enjoy the meal." - Sumedh Natu

Loved the 'Karimeen Pollichatu', 'Nadan Fish curry' and the 'Palada'. The Kerala Alleppey fish curry was also a nice preparation. This is a legendary place for some fabulous, soulful Kerala food. Newly refurbished, looks nice from outside. I would urge Mr. Basheer who attended to us to please change the photos on Google, so that people will not miss the restaurant on account of the renovation. The main entrance looks so different now.

Delux Kerala Restaurant in Fort, Mumbai, is an absolute gem for seafood and Kerala cuisine lovers. The Prawns Fry and Fish Nadan Curry are standout dishes, perfectly complemented by buttery Kerala Parottas. The crispy Bombay Duck Fry is a must-try too! The ambience is cozy, service is warm, and the food is worth every penny. A great destination after a drive on Mumbai's coastal road. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Kerala flavors!

Having heard about this place so much I was just waiting for an opportunity to visit and here I had one. Visited this restaurant yesterday which is well known for serving Kerala cuisine. Had a pleasant feeling and a really sumptuous meal. It was after 2 PM on Saturday but it was still crowded and we had to wait for 5 minutes before we got our table. Since the ground floor was already full to it's capacity. We were courteously informed to move upstairs. The ambience was good and the seating arrangements were a bit congested yet had cozy enough to accommodate and seat comfortably. The staff was pretty busy then and had to wait for a few minutes to get their attention as they set the already leaving visitors and the ones entering. Got a welcome drink which was good. Few minutes later we had the attention of the staff to place our order, which got served in 10 minutes. Generally when sadya is served on plantain leaf it's continuous without any break. However here it took some time for the rice and sambhar to arrive after the initial upperi items along with other entrees and part of the main course. The customary dal or the parippu was served later on request, as it was getting reheated. Rasam, buttermilk and payasam were served alongside. It was a complete meal. We also ordered Squid fry and King fish which were also good. The porotta and chicken chettinad was also served though the chettinad was a bit spicy for our liking even after being told to make it milder. Overall a great experience and a must visit for all those wanting to experience Kerala cuisine.

For some authentic and delicious Kerala cuisine do visit here. A must try place. We tried the onam special sadhya which was undoubtedly delicious and amazing with variety of items served together in a banana leaf. The payasam are extremely delicious and drooling. We also tried some Paratha and chicken pepper masala which was also amazing. Highly recommend to visit this place to try some South Indian authentic cuisine in the heart of Mumbai. The service was good and one thing to keep in mind over here is that the sadhya is not shareable i.e., one person has to eat one whole sadhya. Two person is not allowed to eat one whole sadhya. And the ac section has less seating capacity. But overall the food was great. F

Ordered 2 Sadya Lunch (Rs.238×2) and 1 Surmai Tawa Fry (Rs.550) at Hotel Deluxe. The restaurant is mostly crowded during Lunch hours and with good reason. The Sadya Lunch is one of the tastiest south Indian veg Lunch you can have in Mumbai on traditional style Banana leaf. The service is quick and unlimited food at an affordable rate. A must visit if you are in the Fort area.

Good taste, fast service, recommended. Dining area is congested. You might have to share the table. Service is fast but only for demanding dishes. If you order something offbeat you have to wait. Staff is humble and professional. Cleanliness is maintained. Interior is good and beat the small space of the hotel. You might have to wait for 15-20 min to get table but you can reserve it too.

We visited Hotel Deluxe to try out Kerala cuisine. The location is quite inside, yet it is easily accessible via maps. The ambiance is pleasant, and the location is well-kept. The service is really slow. Fresh food was not served to us, nor was it hot enough. They serve cold food. The fish items are overpriced. Poor hygiene levels
