It’s our first time dining in this restaurant but they have been in this area of Pasadena for three years. The brunch menu is pretty solid. The crab omelette special was very delicious. The Cubano sandwich and everything bagel avocado toast are not to be missed. The staff was very patient and accommodating; they even offered stuff to calm our crying baby.

Great service and super delicious food! The cuban sandwich was sooo good!!! Highly recommended this spot if you're in the area.

Every time we come here, the food is spectacular. Last night we ordered solely off the specials menu, and everything was delicious. We shared the Thai coconut carrot ginger soup, filet mignon, and beer can jerk chicken. The flavors are rich and sophisticated, without the restaurant having a stuffy vibe. Other perks: Their covered patio is dog friendly, and their wine list is extensive. Highly recommend!

Google
Kind staff. AMAZING quality food and AMAZING tasting food. Inventive menu. Cool and varied selection. Their menu changes seasonally, I believe, although they keep a few staples on menu throughout the year. The burata appetizer was fantastic. The Persian love cake was delicious. Loved the experience and felt very grateful to the staff, who treated us really well. Definitely recommend trying this place!

Google
Charming neighborhood gem!!! Place is cozy with outdoor seating options. Feels like a favorite auntie home. The food is sensational! Love the various fusion flavors. Seafood is fresh with asian seasoning. The cesear chinese salad with tuna was soooo yummy! Tuna was fresh with miso flavoring. Asian fish and chips were on point. In place of fries, it came with taro chips. Gave the dish a different texture and color. Definitely will be coming back!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of my Benedict, but the Cuban sandwich was bomb. It wasn’t busy for lunch on Saturday so service and food was fast.

Eleni Gatsios

Google
The lunch menu was innovative and delicious! We had Thai coconut curry soup, Octopus tostada, Cuban sandwich, and Mushroom Barbacoa tacos. Every item was a wow! Great flavors - balanced, layered and really, really good. Will definitely go back to try the rest of Chef Onil's menu.

Google
Wow! I randomly found this place and it’s fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem. Loved the asian fish and chips but unfortunately forgot to take a pic! Everything on the menu looked amazing and I will definitely be back to try something new. Edit: I went back a second time and it was just as good as the first! The southern sea bass and collard greens… Amazing.

Yelp
We had brunch at Deluxe 1717, as a party of eight, on 07/27/2025. This was the first time at this restaurant for any of us. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is readily available. There are some spots in the alley behind the business; however, street parking in the nearby neighborhoods is easy to find. We felt that the service was very attentive, thorough and friendly. I had the cuban sandwich. This sandwich was awesome, yummy, delicious and crispy! It came with a side of deliciously seasoned and crispy fries. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food that they had, and we had a great time. I would definitely return again.

Yelp
I live in Pasadena and often drive across Washington Blvd, passing Deluxe 1717 many times without really noticing it--until one evening I saw a good crowd inside. That caught my attention. The restaurant has both outdoor patio seating and indoor dining that overlooks the patio, with an open-air feel since there's no barrier between the two spaces. I decided to check out the menu, and it looked great--not cheap, but definitely reasonable for the quality they offer. I brought my daughter for our first visit after noticing they offer happy hour, which I like to try before diving into the full menu. My thinking is: if they can nail the small plates, the full menu is worth exploring. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly faces and made to feel completely welcome. I appreciated that no one made us feel awkward for just ordering from the happy hour menu--though we ended up ordering quite a bit anyway! We had the Chipotle Chicken Taquitos, Carne Asada Nachos, Brussels Sprouts, and a couple of glasses of wine. One detail that really stood out: the sommelier came over to check on us and chat briefly about the wine. That personal touch made me feel seen and valued. I love when a place treats you like more than just a table number. As for the food: * The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and cooked well, though a bit heavy on sauce and a touch too crispy for my preference--I'd ask for less sauce next time, but I'd still reorder them. * The taquitos had great toppings, but something about the chipotle flavor didn't land for us. We're taquito lovers and usually finish every bite, so this was a rare miss. That said, I'd give them another try if someone I'm with wants to order them. * The nachos were delicious--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I'd absolutely order them again. My daughter enjoyed the steak on them, though I personally wasn't a big fan--but I'm picky with meat. I'd probably try it with chicken next time or go full vegetarian. The freshness and flavor throughout the meal stood out, and there are several other menu items I'm looking forward to trying--especially the pulled pork sandwich, which I think my parents would love. I'm already planning to bring them here for a visit. All in all, I'm so happy to have discovered such a beautiful, welcoming, and quality-driven restaurant right on Washington Blvd in Pasadena. Thank you to the owners and staff--we appreciate you and will definitely be back!

Yelp
We've wanted to come here for a while and we wish we had sooner, it's great! First off, our server, Logan, was EVERYTHING! Fun and knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and did I say fun? Made our experience nice from the start. Casey (floor manager, maybe?) was cool too. Very welcoming to first timers. Now the food....holy cow! The menu has starters and mains, but we opted for a few shared plates from the starters. Grilled shrimp and potato skewers came with two sauces, and yeah, they were separately sauced so you can taste both! One peanut and one cilantro jalapeño...both delicious! Wednesday is taco special night so we had three snapper tacos for $17.17 (get it?) and they were yummy. Love that the corn tortillas are a little soft so they don't break all over the place. Still hungry so we got the nachos-skirt steak and lots of stuff piled on. The leftovers ended up being my husband's lunch today so I can't speak to how they held up but I almost ate them for breakfast, as good as they smelled! Wish we had room for dessert, but next time, as there definitely will be a next time! Wednesday is also wine night 17% off bottles! We left just as the jazz guy started but he was good even tho he has to fight the street noise. Fabulous spot, try it out!

Yelp
Attentive service, amazing food and a wonderful wine and cocktail selection. We will be back!

Yelp
I had the Cuban sandwich which was just okay. The meat seemed like it was overcooked and lacked overall seasoning. Service was very good and friendly.

Yelp
We loved the food and the atmosphere at Deluxe 1717. This place feels special and intimate. You can tell that they care about every guest that walks through the door and the service was excellent! My husband and I started with the free flatbread that is brought to the table. We cleared that basket before they even brought us water. I then had the seared ahi tuna salad and it was complex, the sauces were different, heavy on the anchovy but Delicious! We also had a shrimp Caesar salad that was not at all traditional. We mopped those off quickly as well. I got the pork chop in this gorgeous sauce over creamy blue cheese polenta and my husband got the Cuban bowl with carnitas and perfectly pickled red onions. There is so much we haven't tried yet, but we will be back. Now Go!!! It's good!

Yelp
Been aiming to come here and finally we came by on Saturday night. It was not full so we didn't have to wait at all. We got seated right away. The waiter who served us was very friendly but he was disappearing a lot whenever we need to refill our water. Their free bread and bread chips are so good! I might check out the meat market next door where they got the chip bread. Parking is in the back or street parking, there's plenty of them. Asian fish and chips has a nice crispiness but the batter seasoning is too spicy for me. Peruvian chicken is so good and I finish it all! Yuca chips are bland tho.. Cuban sandwich is just mediocre..nothing really special. Will come back when they update their menu because it seems like they alternate once in a while!

Yelp
We visited 1717 for the first time last night with friends from out of town. There were 2 places that tickled my fancy, but the one offering reservations was 1717 so there we go. Five plus stars on food, service and ambiance. Our server, Logan, knew his trade, was very friendly and made us feel valued. The topper was the fabulous jazz pianist on the patio where we were seated. He was top notch and the background music enhanced our evening. Our table ordered wine, beer and a hard cider (no cocktails available) and we were pleased with our choices. The Syrah was exceptionally smooth btw. The flat bread served to the table was gobbled up even as we thought about saving room. It's made locally and then the restaurant adds the herbs and spices. Appetizers chosen were the cheese empanada (more like dessert with a light fried dough texture; I adored it.), the green beans (everyone at the table raved about them, a hunan style sauce with fried onions on top) and the yucca fries with jalapeño sauce (Another big hit with the table, crispy outside and the big surprise was the jalapeño sauce being super flavorful but not super HOT). Mains were crispy skin sea bass, the pork belly tacos and two of us ordered the bone in pork chop. This table of foodies was a happy table of foodies. There were no complaints and many accolades. Dessert is my jam and dessert is well represented and respected at this fine establishment. The sticky toffee was killer and the chocolate cake decadent. Thank you very much. Our evening was a great success. The warm weather and dramatic sunset worked in concert with the food, drink, music and service to make it so. 1717 is away from the hustle and bustle and what a breath of fresh air. Supporting an Altadena business doesn't hurt either.

Yelp
Super Deluxe! A wonderful chef, a sommelier and a front of house manager walk into a room - they deliver super deluxe 1717! Chef Onil is killing it! with his causal neighborhood hidden gem located in north east Pasadena. Nice interior and exterior patio dining full of neighborhood regulars open for brunch and dinner. Tandoori salmon to Cuban bowls to roasted chicken to even nachos on the menu and watermelon salad. Wonderful mix of casual menu staple items like their deluxe burger and Cubano to some wonderful rotating chef driven creations from fresh seafood to some of the best selections of meat for the money. All in this wonderful casual family and doggy friendly cafe. Their FOH manager is so friendly and accommodating! She should be the benchmark for hospitality. Warm, sweet yet knowledgeable and attentive. Great service staff too. Their sommelier Jeff is also super friendly and definitely a pro at wine! He has a wonderful friendly approach to wine which makes you feel so comfortable! You can even purchase bottles to take home of a wine that you might fall in love with! Super casual atmosphere - you can dress up and stop for a quick bite to eat before a show or come in shorts and tshirt and still feel welcomed here. Great for brunch too and dog friendly patio!. They have a wonderful dessert menu - their pastry chef makes the best orange flan hands down! Everyone was ordering the chocolate cake too which I am going to try next! Live music Wednesday nights and they have wine pairing dinners on some Sundays (check their website). Plus a killer brunch! Plenty of street parking in this cozy neighborhood. Cool thing is they support their neighboring famous meat butcher as well as Bloomfield ice cream by featuring some of their items on their menu. The trio of chefs from nearby Altaeats, Bacchus and deluxe 1717 are reinventing the food scene in north east Pasadena/altadena with great food, service, drink and prices that don't break the pocket book.

Yelp
We were wandering on Washington Blvd. around lunch time and decided to give a new place (new for us!) a try. We are so glad we happened upon Deluxe 1717! The patio is delightful and we were greeted warmly by the staff. The menu has a number of enticing options but today we settled on trying the Mushroom Barbacoca Tacos and the Cuban Sandwich. The mushroom tacos were quite tasty. The three tacos were accented with adobo, and guajillo chili accompanied by cumin cabbage slaw, pickled onion crema, and queso fresco. All of these flavors blended in a very satisfying way. The Cuban sandwich was so savory with sliced slow roasted pork shoulder, house smoked pork belly, jambon, gruyere, mojo, and pickles all resting on a light and airy bun. The meat on this sandwich was nicely tender and scrumptious. This taste festival had a terrific balance of the tangy zest, citrusy mojo, and creamy cheese along with the meaty goodness of the pork. So good! We will definitely keep Deluxe 1717 on our list for future visits when we are in the area. Yay! Love a successful new find!

Yelp
It's a solid 4.3! Quaint little neighborhood place in Altadena. This was a brunch outing. Staff was super pleasant and the place was very clean and put together. You can tell immediately this is an owner who cares. IMO the menu was a bit off. It had plenty of great items and all the food was fantastic. But the choices seemed a bit all over the place. We had the Cuban Sando, Quiche of the day and bacon and eggs. All was excellent and the waitress was super attentive. Certainly warrants another visit but not sure I'm rushing back.

Yelp
From the minute we walked in and were greeted warmly by the staff, through a marvelous dinner with delightful food and service Deluxe 1717 delivered a perfect evening We felt at home. The wine by the glass is impressive in its quality and breadth, the food had enough variety to make you want to split several choices and it has that friendly neighborhood bistro atmosphere we've been looking for since we moved to Pasadena. If you order the Asian Fish and Chips please order the Riesling - perfection . I joked it should be a mandatory pairing . The pork chop was moist and juicy. - so many in restaurants are dry More than just the food Deluxe 1717 has a feel that I look for -everyone who works there seems happy to be there , friendly to each other and not just the clients and they are dedicated to creating a relaxed and enjoyable time in be for you. It's a vibe , which I consider important . This is the kind of place you go after a long week/day sit down and just sigh with relief. All is well and you are in the hands of of Deluxe 1717

Yelp
We have been here a few times in a couple of months (and we brought friends!!), and each time everything has been outstanding: the food, the environment and the service! Deluxe 1717 was recommended to us and we can't say enough good things about it. On our first visit Casey welcomed us and we were treated like royalty by all the staff. On the busy Mother's Day brunch, Chef Onil himself was bringing out plates and bussing tables... and was wearing some great socks!! I haven't forgotten those socks, Chef! :-) To name just a few menu items, I am in love with the Barbacoa Mushroom Tacos, the Burrata with Citrus & Tomatillo Jam, the Seared Tuna with Tarragon Aioli, and Olive Oil Poached Wild Mushrooms but, in all honesty, every dish we've had at 1717 has been outstanding. The wine list is also very good - and it's especially nice that most all wines on the list are offered by the glass as well as the bottle -- you don't often see that. Don't pass on dessert... Basque Cheesecake, Strawberry Rhubarb Galette - you'll really miss out if you do!

Yelp
I went here with 5 friends, and everything from the service to the food to the ambiance was exceptional! We shared a bunch of dishes (spinach artichoke dip, chicken, Cuban bowl, roasted Brussels sprouts, buratta, Bolivian cheese empanada, nachos), and we loved every single dish. The wine was delicious too. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert which we loved. The servers were personable and attentive. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. Parking was no issue as there was plenty of street parking available. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
OVERALL Deluxe 1717 is top tier and I went for brunch and I HIGHLY recommend visiting. The customer service, food, and ambiance is wonderfully delightful. The food was so delicious our group decided we're going back for the dinner service later in the week so we could try that menu. DRINK Coffee - They serve Jones Coffee so you can't go wrong there. Mango Pineapple Mimosa - Loved this because it wasn't too sweet or overpowering with flavor or champagne. FOOD THAI GRILLED SHRIMP + WATERMELON SALAD - I loved this dish because the seasoning on the shrimp paired well with the watermelon salad and it wasn't overly juicy either. HAWAIIAN WAFFLE - The flavors are so rich that you don't need any syrup to compliment it. The waffles flavor needs nothing to mess it up. The bourbon pineapple was a perfect match to eat with providing a lil sweetness but not overly so. House Gravlax Avocado Toast - I considered this like an elevated salmon and lox but better and without capers but amazing pickles and the aoili was delicious with the avocado

Yelp
Super nice service and a great setting indoors and out. But $24 for lunch nachos with fake cheese left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Nettie C.

Yelp
Excellent food, and service..Ambiance pleasant. Comfortable recommending them. A bit pricey but worth it.

Yelp
We were looking for a nice brunch spot in Pasadena, decided to try Deluxe 1717, and we were delighted. Everything was delicious, and there were some creative dishes like the salmon Benedict on arepas instead of English muffin. The biscuits were really good too. And they took great care with my husband's gluten allergy (he's celiac), knowledgeably pointing out the GF options and what accommodations they could make. He found plenty good to choose from. There was even a GF sticky toffee pudding for dessert! Our server was charming and took great care of us. Definitely recommend this place.

Rena M.

Yelp
Delcious and excellent all-around!! I came here with a group of 7 for my graduation and everything was soooo amazing! From beginning to end, they really took amazing care and were attentive to the group. I found out about this place through yelp reviews, as I was looking for brunch and champagne somewhere with high rating and the reviews definitely didn't steer me wrong. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely, definitely be back. We were impressed by tye quality of food (everything was DELICIOUS!!) and I felt very cared for on my special day. Thank you to all the staff at Deluxe 1717 and we'll see you soon! visit this place and it surely won't disappoint, seriously

Yelp
Wow! THE most outstanding dining experience & food I've had in years. I read about this restaurant in an article and made the trek from the Westside with family since the eclectic menu caught my fancy. I was not disappointed: the food was superb - beyond expectation. Made a reservation for Sunday brunch, and the menu was a mix of dishes from different parts of the world: every single dish we ordered was heavenly with my house-cured gravlax with avocado toast better than any avocado toast I've had anywhere in L.A. ever. The mix of spicy flavors and crunch textures on top of a thin bagel was a great combination. The sambal aioli, I think, was perfection and raised the avocado toast to another level! The other dishes we tried were the Thai grilled shrimp and watermelon salad, the Cuban sandwich, the burger, and the burrata with seasonal vegetables of corn and peas. Every single dish was outstanding in its presentation, and blend of flavors & sauces & textures. Mostly what made this experience so memorable was the staff (including the owner) who waited on us. The incredible warmth, friendliness, and generous customer service make this restaurant distinctive from any I've been to in a long, long time - they checked on us often, and though the restaurant was overflowing & busy when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, immediately made us feel welcome. Lovely staff! Deluxe 1717 is SO worth the drive across town, especially if visiting the Norton Simon or the Huntington Gardens. If I lived closer I'd be there every week. Highly recommend going to dine at Deluxe for a style of California cuisine that incorporates and transforms all the international ethnic foods and cuisines of Southern California into a single brilliantly executed menu.

Yelp
This is such a great place. The people are friendly and the food is amazing. (Pork belly is SO good.) I have allergies and they did their best to let me know what I could eat. Husband and I will definitely come again! Thank you to Casey (spelling?) and Jose, who made us smile and gave us super great service!

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times now. Ambiance is simple and casual. We went there to have a quick glass of wine after being out and about for the day. Menu is small but everything we have tried has been excellent. Service is super friendly. The owner Onil is so nice. Their wine selection is good and is reasonably priced. We ordered a pasta dish the first time we were there which I'm sad is not on the menu any longer. The Asian fish and chips (taro chips not fries) was very tasty and quite filling. The batter isn't your usual batter. very tasty. Comes with two sauces including a sambal mayonnaise. We got a side of green beans which I thought was ok. For dessert the chocolate pie- yum!! My favorite neighborhood spot now I think. Lots of free street parking.
google avatar

Annie Y.

Yelp
The outside looks deceptive. With the wooden lattice and red trims around the outdoor seating, I was expecting a dated menu. I was pleasantly surprised with variety of dishes with Asian and Mexican flavors. I had the nachos and pork belly tacos. Both delicious and more than enough for two people.

User B.

Yelp
Husband and I stopped by after seeing a blurb in a City of Pasadena social Media account. I got the pork belly tacos and they were so delicious. My husband got a Cuban bowl with carnitas. He liked it a lot. We shared a Basque cheesecake that was perfection! Definitely heading back!
google avatar

Collin M.

Yelp
Don't normally go this far north to eat (a bit far to walk) in Pasadena but this place is a real beaut. They have a really nice patio which we went to enjoy our brunch. Our server was extremely nice and had perfect knowledge of the menu and specials. But we had came up primarily for cheeseburger week so we knew what we wanted and got the deluxe burger. The burger was great would love to come back for brunch and try the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and Bolivian empanada both looked amazing.

Steven C.

Yelp
Ambiance feels like I'm going to a friend's home for dinner but with the infrastructure and food of a restaurant. It's such a unique dining experience to be greeted by the owner and have an opportunity to talk to him about how they crafted each of their dishes. There are hints of Asian, Bolivian, and Cuban influence tied together for a meaningful and balanced menu. And get the bread pudding!!!
google avatar

josh D.

Yelp
WOW! This may have been one of the best meals I've had since the pandemic!! How there's not line out the door is beyond me. Small restaurant, great service. Got the Cuban sandwich and the Maduros and the biscuits. All over the top! Can't wait to go back.

Cathy T.

Yelp
Outstanding... on Valentines Day! The service was attentive but not annoyingly so! Sommelier Jeff was an added bonus!

Sloane A.

Yelp
The best shrimp I have ever had in my life! Our super server was Chris & he was fabulous! Super friendly, caring staff! Service superb! So pleased we found this restaurant - ambiance lovely - Pasadena casual! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends! Way fun place! Great menu variety.
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
First great experience was not a mistake. We made it a point to end a business trip here and had ANOTHER excellent experience!! Great service, charming team and outstanding food! We opted for a bottle of wine and really enjoyed it. Server Stephen described it nicely and made surw our glasses were always full. They had a super delicious corn chowder (vegan, if you're one of them) that we both really enjoyed. I had Asian Fish and Chips that were SO good! Crispy and light batter on the fish and some taro chips made for a fun take on a classic dish. My wife got the pork takos again (now 3 to tge order) and loved them. Such a great option gor dinner. Highly recommended!!
google avatar

Louie V.

Yelp
Delicious plates! Celebrated my sisters birthday here and we had the chicken, Hangar steak, fish and chips and the torta! Also the nachos were a great appetizer.

Joyce H.

Yelp
You might never even notice this little charming restaurant in north Pasadena, but that would be a shame. It is one of the best not only in Pasadena but in the entire San Gabriel Valley. The food is divine; one of the most interesting menus ever, including Cuban, Latin and Pan Asian options. The wine list is small but wonderful. The chef is so talented and the crowning glory is the pastry chef. My mouth is watering as I write this. Having said all that, the most remarkable part of this eatery is the staff. They are so competent and friendly you will feel you are in grandmas house. Don't miss it even if you have to drive a little out of your way. You won't be sorry I promise!

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Delicious! We had the Burrata and the Filet. Both were different and yummy! Logan, our server, was delightful. Wine was also delicious and music was fun!
google avatar

Vicky R.

Yelp
We are delighted to have found this charming restaurant in East Pasadena. The restaurant is intimate, art filled and welcoming in an unpretentious way. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The food is delicious and eclectic. Noteworthy are the pork belly tacos with a beautiful balance of spice and sweetness, the celeriac soup as a special was a delight and unexpectedly sophisticated. Entrees are all amazing and for those adventurous the black bean bowl with maduros is highly recommended. Don't leave without having dessert, a huge shout out to the orange flan and polenta cake, both super delicious. Our waiter Stephen was amazing and made our experience complete. The owner and executive chef Onil Chibas is welcoming and extremely charming . If you are in the area or live in the neighborhood, Deluxe is one restaurant you should not miss!

Yelp
First visit for lunch this week. Started with the empanada.......not what I was expecting but nice and hot with plenty of gooey cheese. The Cuban sandwich was outstanding.....the pork perfectly cooked. French fry side could be more crispy......(the menu says served with plantain chips). Good selection of craft beers and the wine list has a number of nice by the glass options including a delicious Macon Village. Patio is a little noisy with the traffic on Washington during the day but I'm guessing it's better in the evening. Our server was very nice.....she explained that the fries come with the Cuban sandwich at lunch but switches to plantain chips for the dinner menu but she got us a sample of the chips to try. This is a nice local place!

Barb S.

Yelp
Oh my goodness. Here to help support the town of Altadena, came upon this and 786 Degrees- both same building. Both freaking amazing. 1717 food was tops. Such good fish tacos- asian cod is delicious. Great service, everything was wonderful. Will review 786 later. SUPPORT ALTADENA.

Kendra M.

Yelp
We had an excellent meal with wonderful service. The Cuban sandwich was the best we've had in LA. We will definitely be back!

Brandy L.

Yelp
Just want to say thank you for your catering service. You're keeping my family well fed on the holidays with some of the best food. On top of that, the service is wonderful. Genuine, friendly family feel.
google avatar

Yelp
Leek quiche is fluffy and you WILL EAT all of the delicious crust. Salad accompaniment perfect. Herbal tea available. Nice owner. Only one dish was tried but it was perfection and we'll be back to try all the others. Don't ask for the pepper mill at risk of insulting the chef; they don't have one. Patio seating available.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
10/10 Cuban Sandwich! Beautiful restaurant with amazing service. Will definitely recommend and be back to try other dishes.

Thomas F.

Yelp
Chef Onil and entire staff are amazing and attentive. It is a small bistro and about 20 item menu tucked away on Washington. The food is all well executed. We have been four times in the last 6 months and each time the Chef has come out and chatted us up. I love these small restaurants where the owner/chef care about the craft in all facets.

Artur V.

Yelp
Food is good, however, management sucks. They don't pick the phone calls. They don't answer to Yelp messages. They are rude and unprofessional.

Kristin B.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years, and this restaurant has always maintained it's excellent food and fantastic staff. They rotate seasonal menus, introducing delightful items, but I also recommend some go-to items such as their House Gravlax Avocado Toast and their burger. The staff are so warm and friendly, and Chef Onil makes everyone feel welcome. This restaurant is a community gem.

E M.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious... I recommend the Mediterranean seared tuna dish ( amazing) they're lemon berry flan was fantastic... great place great staff come support this restaurant

Yelp
Went yesterday for brunch. Food was delish but portions were very small. May have ordered the wrong thing though. Maybe portions are bigger for different entrees. My hungry 27 year old old son had the tuna and he was so hungry after he ate my shrimp watermelon salad. Shrimp were large and delish but again the portions were small. One ice tea and one champagne cocktail. With tip it was close to 90.00. Expensive. I'll go back one more time for dinner. Quality was good. Expensive for what you get. I don't expect large portions. I'm familiar with Michelin restaurants where portions are small and hate Claim Jumper portions but rheees a happy medium somewhere. For what it's worth.

Yelp
This restaurant has been a great addition to this Pasadena neighborhood near Altadena. I have enjoyed each dish here after several visits and look forward to trying more of their great food. Kudos to the owners for providing a trifecta of great food, great service and a great space/location.

Yelp
Stumbled on this place looking for a new place to try. They have both indoor and outdoor seating; its super classy and inviting. It's only been around about a year but the owners are no strangers to the industry and definitely know what they're doing. They and the staff were very welcoming and friendly when we walked up. They have a great wine list for pairing with all their meals and (at time of writing) had a couple specials running including an amazing tomato and peach salad that was delicious, refreshing, and a journey for our pallet (my wife and I shared). I had the Asian Fish and Chips, my wife had the Gnocchi, and we ordered the Cheese Empanada for our daughter. The food was fantastic! I'm not a food critic so can't really do justice explaining the complexities in the entrees but it's not just regular food. Our expectations were pleasantly blown away. Definitely coming back and will be bringing friends. TLDR; Great spot with amazing food. Drink their wine, eat their food, and tell your friends.

Yelp
I really like their food. Open for dinner Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays. Brunch on weekends. New waiter Chris is adorable.
