Went there late dinner and had the scrapple burger. That is a great tasting burger -the taste of the ground beef, with the just "right amount of spiciness" in the scrapple combined with the egg over easy was fantastic. The chicken parm and steak sandwich also looked very good. The Milk Stout on tap was also flavorful. Not overly coffee flavored and the right consistency, served chilled - not too cold, with great flavor. Will be going back to try other entrees and combinations.

Best Friend & I Went On Football Sunday, to speak for the atmosphere for football it was super chill literally only about 15-25 people which for me is a plus. I like laidback vibes. Food was good BBQ Wings(10) & Fries $14 Cheesesteak Rolls $5 everything was fresh hot & nicely seasoned. Drinks were good not watered down and not overly strong.Since was our first time we paid cash for our food and just wanted to see what the drinks would be like alone…… so we had a open t*b. We had 2 single casamigos mixed drinks. 3-4 double Henny punches. 2 lemon drops. $65 on Drinks and that’s not bad at all! No shots on the first trip have to feel out vibe first. Definitely will be back! (Sorry about the filters but the fries were not hard I promise also didn’t take pictures of everything stuff was order over the course of 4-5 hrs)

This spot is super low key when you enter it’s such a vibe . Because of the location it doesn’t get much foot traffic so I think a lot of ppl don’t know about it , but let me tell you I had a time , prices were great and the cheese steak roll was fried so good I knew from the first bite they were under new ownership came here years ago with different owner and never returned but under the new ownership ? I’ll BE BACK 🫣🤣😍… also to the review that said they’re loud who moves next to a bar and get upset at the noise 🤣 entitlement at its finest.

This a great family owned establishment with a huge selection of craft beers on tap, a full menu, and amazing assortment of pizzas. Lot's of TVs to watch sports and a super attentive waitstaff.

Set up is nice. Went on karaoke night so expected to have a blast. Wrong! The music was only coming from one side. It was soooo hot in there. There was no kind of circulation of air at all. I planed on being there for a long time and wanted to open a tab but the bar tender didn't let me. (although I heard her ask the group of guys in front of me if they wanted to start a tab) she put ice in my wine. Then all of a Sudden there were no more take out containers for me to take my food home. I had High hopes for this place but it let me down. It's a really neat set up tho.

The atmosphere was great ! We ordered drinks then wanted to get the food menu. Saturday night, was not that busy , she gave us food menu then after few minutes she came to borrow back the menu for a few minutes so she can give the menu to some other customers. She never came back to us with the menu or asked anything about ordering food. We waited 10/15 minutes while the bartender was outside talking to one of the customers, and then we walked out hungry. I am not going back there. It was not fair that we did not get to eat.

It is no longer DeMarco'a Italian Restaurant, it is under new management. It is a very clean bar with very nice people it has bar food no pasta. It has a full bar and the quality of the drinks are good and reasonably priced. Overall it was a very pleasant experience just I was disappointed that it was not the Italian restaurant.

I've heard from a friend who's lived in the area for a while that they are under new ownership. It's a chill neighborhood bar,everyone is very nice including the customers. I like the selection of music and the DJ that they have is cool and he does karaoke so that's always fun. I've had the cheesesteak rolls and fries which are pretty good. The wings are so freaking good!

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had came in with a few couples wanted to get food and not one person paid attention to us all of them on their cell phones talking to their earpods. I know plenty of good places around there figured I'd give it a chance never again and I hope no one ever has to deal with that. Sad because I always am very easy going about establishments. I understand busy but they had no one in there.... You will truly regret it if you go...

My first visit here & I'm looking forward to coming back. Deanna was our server & she was very courteous. She made sure our meal was to our liking & constantly checked on us. The restaurant was clean & there was enough room for social distancing as we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was welcoming & laid back. They also have a touch less menu. Just scan the barcode with your phone & it shows the menu. THE FOOD!!! It all arrived hot & was delicious. My son had a great big pizza that he couldn't finish. Lol. He also had the barbecue boneless wings as an appetizer. He said they were good. I had the chicken Parmesan egg rolls. They were great as I had never had them before. Now let's talk about the scrapple stuffed pork chop!!! DELICIOUS!! It was smothered in a tasty sauce & served with mashed potatoes & asparagus. SCRUMPTIOUS!!! The serving sizes were great as well. We were able to take lots of food home. We will definitely be returning for another great meal.

This is a fun, respectable, clean bar. The staff and patrons are incredibly nice and accommodating, the drinks are a fair price and the atmosphere is top notch. Street view may look like a Delco Dive but do not be deceived. DeMarcos has a full bar and menu as well as 2 pool tables. I recommend this establishment if you need a "treat yo self" day after work!

Bottled beer could be colder but it was crazy hot & humid, so giving a pass on that one. LOL! Also, a glass should be offered for most beers. That said, this place has great potential as a local hangout spot. There's a pretty deep menu for a bar, TVs everywhere, staff seem friendly & cool. Happy hour until 7pm & daily specials! Regulars told me that the pizzas were good deal too. Will update review after a few more visits.

It's our first time here and there are new owners. They could not be more accommodating. The food was fabulous. The sangria was delicious and garnish with fresh fruit. We will definitely be back

Here for work from out is town and have developed a friendship with one of my local coworkers. They wanted to host dinner and suggested a place near their home. All totaled, the bill $130. Appetizers, apps, salads and some entrees. Everything was mediocre at best. My entree in the pics had a ton of oil. And I say oil because the pasta did not taste like butter whatsoever. Our order was wrong and we literally watched the cook take food out of our container and place it in another because we wanted ala carte with no sides. We walked into the separate carry out area. Masks on with noses out, no gloves and it did not appear to be clean. Debris and discarded food all over the floor. This is the same area where the food is cooked and prepared. The manager was back in this area a few times. Possibly even the owner; older man. Didn't seem to even care. I was embarrassed for my new found friends. And I could tell they were embarrassed and disappointed. They wanted to make a nice night of it.

SOOO...did you hear? ??? ? They had a GRAVY COOK-OFF!! What a great idea and fun too. There were 12 entries...I was one. We all think ours is the BEST !!! This place was packed. Must of been a least 120 peeps there. DeMarco's provided the pasta for the tastings of the GRAVY. It was neat tasting all 12 GRAVIES. The colors varied, dark shades of red, bright red and just red red. They tasted sweet, tangy, meaty, marinara like and then just right. Any all could judge, just not the cooks. I am proud to say I WON!!! Thanks to my NANA..just the way she taught me....Mine was just right! Thanks for a fun day! This definitely the place to come, if you enjoy real Italian food, just like at home. I try to get different items each time I visit... Eggplant sticks yum, cut a bit thicker coated with tasty breading and fried perfectly and topped with pecorine romano cheese and served with a gravy dipping sauce. " the SOUTH PHILLY" is a chicken cutlet sandwich, with mozzerella cheese melted over the top and long hots and served on a long roll....YUM.. it's worth the drive if your not nearby, traveling for great food...is always a good idea. You will be glad you did!

Good late night spot. Open till midnight which is hard to find in Delco. Great sandwiches on the menu. Got the cheesesteak and chicken cutlet. Def big and worth the $15. Nice beer selection as well:)

We stopped by here on a Friday around 8. Although we missed happy hour the place wasn't packed. We didn't get food so we need to come back. We had the appletini and a mule. They was amazing strong and hit the spot perfect. The atmosphere was pretty good. Music was ok! Bartender was very friendly and engaging offered many options for food and drinks loved her energy. Will comeback and try some appetizer and entrees..

Went back last night for a late night dinner with my husband. This restaurant/bar is close to home but for some reason we always forget about it when we head out for something local. It is possible that it's because I've had mixed experiences in the past, primarily with anything fried being over done. The last couple times have been good though and last night was great. We were deciding between pizza or apps last night and went with apps. We had pizza last time and it was great. Colleen, our waitress was very helpful and attentive. My husband wanted wings (I am not a fan of wings in general). They were delicious, my husband loved them and I tried a couple and had to agree they were quite tasty. We also had the chicken parm egg rolls which were really good and an inside out pizza roll which we loved. The beer selection was really nice too. I had a milk chocolate porter that I loved and my husband had a coffee flavored beer that he enjoyed. So many options. We have to go back to sample more. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely remember it when we go out again.

Food was good from beginning to the end. I had the shrimp Alfredo and the garlic knots were amazing! I'll be ordering from here often! Nice small space.

We've been here a couple times for carry out, and now once for dinner. We both had the specials- I the gnocci, my wife the tortellini. Service was prompt and attentive for a Saturday night. The tortellini was fantastic, and exactly what my wife was looking for. The Gnocci? Wrong Gnocci. I fully expected crab and pesto and ended up with brown butter gnocci with shrimp. It came out and I asked our waitress, "Where's the crab?" I need to pause for a moment to say, the brown butter gnocci was absolutely phenomenal all by itself and didn't need anything else. I'm a firm believer that how a restaurant handles a crisis is what is going to make or break them. In this case? They overdelivered to fix the probem. Our waitress said something to the chef, while he was standing by the bar, and he marched into the kitchen to get this issue fixed. It turns out the special menu we had was from the previous week. Even though, the chef brought out a mountain of crab meat with brown butter to go with the gnocci. They more than made good for the problem, and with kitchen and wait staff that cares that much, they have earned their five stars.

This is a great spot! When the weather is nice the doors are open. The staff is always nice and friendly. The hot and spicy pizza is my favorite!!! I love music a lot so the only thing that stinks for me is the music gets shut off whenever any sporting event is on but, it is marketed as a sports bar! And every Saturday night they have a DJ!

My wife and I wanted to check out a local restaurant in our neighborhood. The atmosphere was ok, service was prompt and the food was okay. I had the shrimp po boy,my wife had the shrimp tacos. Both was pretty good. I would like to visit this establishment on a different night, They had an artist performing acoustic guitar and singing.

Went here on a date. We chose this place because it was local and we like to support local businesses. This is by far, my least favorite bar. The waitress was not attentive, and the food was terrible. Mind you, it was NOT crowded. It didn't even have a friendly atmosphere.. With that being said... I will not be returning unless someone else paying.

Updated - have been a regular since they remodeled post fire. Great decor, warm and inviting. All the food is excellent, and menu rotates seasonally. Pastas made in house. Excellent wings. Great pizza. Decent beer list.

I usually love DeMarcos , ordered take out and open my bag to see this sad looking $14 salad!

What a dive! Stopped by for dinner because it is local and I've never been there. Party was fairly large (8) so we had to wait awhile for a table. No problem. Waited over an hour for our food! Asked for drink refills a few times ... never came! What a mess! Will not return. Sorry I gave it a try

They've come a long way. Missed them when they closed after the fire a while back. Since then I have enjoyed every encounter and meal! I hope they continue to grow!

I watched my football team earlier this year here when they were not on TV locally and it was a nice change of pace from the usual sports bars thanks to good the italian food which made for more (and better) options than at a sports bar. Unfortunately later in the football season I went there only to found out that they did away with the Sunday Ticket. I was surprised they killed it in the middle of the season like that. It took away the main reason for me to go to be honest but they obviously felt there weren't enough people like me to justify keeping it.

I don't know. This place has potential, and probably was better when it first opened. First off, the menu is incorrect on this platform and when you google it. The items differ, and especially the prices. The updated menu which you can't find (I obviously got take out) is about $3-5 more expensive on every item. The food does not stand up to how expensive it is for the area. It's mediocre at best. Probably a good place if you wanted to grab a beer with friends but it is pricey.

I hate to write this as I have never written a review before but I feel compelled to warn consumers. We have been to DeMarcos three times since they reopened from the fire. Two out of the three times we were double charged our main check ( this last time was $98.00 )and a main entree was forgotten and came to the table as we were asking for the check. We didn't know we were double charged until I went through my debit card statement three days later. I informed the other members of group (4 couples) those that paid with a card were double charged 2 out of the 4 couples and wouldn't have known if I didn't alert them. Our visit was a Saturday night. Mu husband went over in person after his nursing shift (we don't have an extra $98.00 to spare) in person, to rectify the situation at which he was told it would be resolved the next day. Monday, nothing, Tuesday, nothing and he called to remind them. I have now had to notify my bank. This is the same scenario that happened the first time . If you have recently eaten at DeMarco's and paid with a card CHECK YOUR STATEMENT!

Great pizza! Had the white with sausage, broccoli Rabe and arugula. It was delicious, best I've had in the area. I was very surprised because most of the time I don't like the pizza around here, but their crust was perfect and so were the toppings! The pizza was also very large and the total with delivery was only $20. Would have never tried them because they don't deliver, but when they popped up on Uber Eat thought I'd give them a try. Thanks Uber Eats, this will definitely be my new go to pizza place! Definitely give them a try!

Went here for a birthday dinner recently. Got there around 5:30 and glad we did--it fills up very quickly. Food was delicious--VERY generous portions--and the service was friendly. But then we ordered dessert....which took over 25 minutes to arrive! It was worth it when it finally came (the Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream special is unbelievable), but still. We also had to flag down our waitress to pick up the check. But we weren't in a rush and they may have been short-staffed, so I'll give them a pass. Great little spot in the neighborhood.

I've eaten at Demarco's probably a hundred times. Over the last few years they have evolved into what I consider the perfect family restaurant/ bar. Their food is ridiculously good. We just had the baked wings, meatballs and Siggi pizza and my wife and I kept looking at each other to say, "This is F@&$ing amazing." They are extremely kid friendly and the staff is very sweet and attentive. I just had a Maple 9% beer that I can't remember the name of but my kid is crying and that doesn't seem to bother me as much because the beer was so extraordinary. I LOVE the tablecloths. I hope they get a bathroom attendant and then this place will be classy AF. If you've read this much get your lazy ass to Demarcos and enjoy!

Food is excellent service is even better. I absolutely love this place. Must try the bananas bourbon is amazing and there cheese steak pizza awesome! Melissa is a great bartender too. I recommend trying anything I don't think you will be disappointed

I really like this place. Pop in during evenings sometimes. South Phila chicken sandwich is amazing, as well as shrimp taco and south Phila taco

Absolutely excellent food ! It's comes out hot, fresh and tasty. Their spicy shrimp and tortellini dish is fantastic!!!!! The rolls they use for their hot sandwiches are perfect. Service is good and the food is priced right. Can't wait to go in the summer when the doors are open!!!!!

So happy They reopened! Such a great place to have dinner, pizza, sandwich, or drink. Keep up the good work, glad to have you back!

What a terrible experience, went there on Sunday at 4:20 the sign said it was open...the door to the restaurant was locked had to go through the bar ...not even a greet or hello we had to ask if they were open for dinner....we go and sit ourselves down the bartender came over and took our drink order...then a young kid walks in Tyler took our order we ordered a app and a dinner....we waited 20 minutes just for clams and we had to ask him if they were coming soon...he told us that a cook called out and thats why its so long we finally get our clams .....then another 20 minutes go by in the mean time two of Tylers female freinds come in and sit at the small bar where he was entertaining them and could care less about us! I call him over and ask where our dinner is and he says again that they were short a cook and that the owner just got there to cook! Finally i called him over again and told him to forget our dinner to give us the check for clams. He went back told the owner. You would think that the OWNER himself would come out and apologize....he did not! Very unprofessional!!!!

Mostly went here to watch sports, but when they started treating us as if we were in their way...well rudeness turns me off like a light switch. The food is not that great and overpriced at that. The last time I was here the bar was full, and was told the only open area in the bar area was supposedly reserved. We sat in a cramped corner for an hour and half no one showed in the "reserved" area. We went into the restaurant area and they didn't seem to want our business (all the tables were empty BTW). So they just lost my patronage.

Food is always on point. Staff are very friendly. Service is a hit or miss we have been here 5 times and the food is always outstanding! Service was good 3 of the 5 times. Won't stop us from coming back!

Being new to the neighborhood, we decided to try this spot for dinner after having driven past it several times. It was a huge disappointment. There were a handful of people at the bar and no one in the dining area. I ordered a steak and the hubby ordered a pizza. The pizza came out after about 25 minutes and was unremarkable. After a total wait time of about 40 minutes, my steak finally arrived and was cooked all the way through, despite my request for medium rare. The waitress did not apologize for the delay nor did she apologize for the steak being over cooked. She merely said that I had received someone's Uber delivery order by mistake. They made me another steak and 20 minutes later I was able to finally eat my dinner. The temperature was correct this time and the meat was tender but did not have a good flavor to it. At no point during our experience did a manager ever stop by to check on us or apologize for the mistake. And we were the only ones in the dining area the whole entire time. Truly poor customer service. At least they didn't charge me for my dinner but still, overall, we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant to our friends.

I just went to this restaurant and was excited to order the lobster Mac and cheese I'd been craving for weeks!!! When the Mac and cheese came, I dug my fork in with excitement...yum, lobster! I dug and dug and dug, but no lobster!!! I left with the same seafood craving even though I paid to satisfy the craving! I'm extremely disappointed!

Best Bar/Restaurant in the area! They renovated after the fire and really spared no expense. Great beer selection, fantastic food and an awesome place to catch a game!

This is the Worst restaurant ever. Went in yesterday for a drink and meal and the bar maids and one guy was by far the rudest people I have ever met. I asked for a menu very nicely and the guy stated that if I didn't like the service, Don't Come Back! What a way to treat a paying customer when all I did was ask for a menu and why hadn't any assisted me after waiting over 45 minutes for service while the two bar maids sat there playing on their phones and this weird doe was even worst. I will never give them my business ever again and I will pass the word on the poor service that I received there in hopes of no one ever to receive this type of service

Great neighborhood spot. Checked it out after the remodel/grand reopening, and it was awesome! We had the mussels in red sauce, French onion soup and the eggplant sticks. Everything came out hot and it was so delicious. DeMarco's is the perfect local spot for good eats in a relaxed environment.

I had the Chicken DeMarco which was just ok, my son had the wings, how they think that Buffalo I'm not sure. But the worst was the HORRIBLE lobster Mac and cheese that had a NASTY smell when you opened it! Couldn't eat the $14 app that came in the smallest container ever! My husband also got the Lobster and Shrimp Risotto. The shrimp were great but again the lobster that was mixed in with the Risotto smelled a little strange. We order Uber Eats. Food came in a reasonable time but was still room temperature. I've ordered from other places from Uber eats that's farther then them and it comes piping hot! Not a happy customer! Very disappointed. Did I mention that my husband as been throwing up for the last four hours?!?!?!

Everyone was thrilled that DeMarco's has reopened!We had a delicious dinner and our group of six was well pleased! The server was Rebecca and she was pleasant, friendly,and most importantly knowledgeable and efficient!

This place is amazing! It's so great to have it back. After a year and a 1/2 of being closed they are finally open again. The place looks incredible, they added more tvs and opened the place up. It was always a great place to gather with friends and watch the game while getting some good food and drinks and now it's even better. For anyone who has never been I strongly recommend it.

I was there picking up a take out order the cook pulled out a head of romaine lettuce unwashed cut the lettuce on the cutting board. Took the shrimp off the grill and placed it where he just cut the unwashed lettuce. Then proceeds to finish the taco. Don't they realize that people are getting sick from lettuce.

Great local spot. Friendly service and above average food. Parking can be rough, but it's worth it. Lots of TVs (take your pick on whether that's a positive or not). Better than average draft selection.

DeMarco's had been a favorite place of mine to grab a quick bite to eat or hang with some friends drink few beers and watch the game. Unfortunately, back in 2014 it was damaged in a fire that resulted in DeMarco's having to close. Thankfully, the owners were committed to reopening DeMarco's and finally after battling with insurance companies and remodeling the whole bar DeMarco's will reopen on 3/23/16. Glad to have a DeMarco's back open! Cheers!

Very nice neighborhood place to grab a bite to eat and have a drink. Not fancy, but not a dive either. They have a huge beer selection. Micro brews from around America. Menu consists of interesting twists on hot sandwiches, to pizza, to more expensive Italian fare. Something for everyone. The wait staff is always friendly, and very accomodating. The mussels were especially fantastic!

I thought the food was good but pricey for the area. No lite beers on tap. Bottle only at $4. Draft craft beer on tap was mediocre. Actually the night we were there only 1 of 6 taps were working and it was a Saturday night. Bartenders are all nice and friendly as was the waitstaff.

My girlfriend stopped in on Saturday night for dinner I had the chicken DiMarco she had the chicken Parham both were very delicious great atmosphere fantastic viewing of the TVs. Service was very excellent our waitress was Barbra she was fantastic, we will be back.

Visiting and got in town late. This was our panic meal (gotta find something before everything closes). Great choice. Pizza is fantastic and the service is too.
