The 11 Best Restaurants In Wimbledon - London - The Infatuation

"We feel like we’re in a beach club anytime we have an eggs benedict in this airy cafe in Wimbledon Village. The aesthetically pleasing set-up looks like it belongs on a neutral-heavy mood board but Demitasse is more than just looks. It’s a firm favourite when it comes to brunch in Wimbledon because of the rich tomato baked eggs and the spiced banana french toast that we’d rather not share. This walk-in spot can get busy during the weekends but it’s absolutely worth a 20-minute wait." - rianne shlebak

The 11 Best Salads In London That Will Bring You Joy - London - The Infatuation

"This aesthetically pleasing cafe in Wimbledon Village is all pretty beige and marble, but Demitasse is more than just looks. It’s a firm favourite when it comes to lunch in Wimbledon because of the buddha salad bowl. The kind of salad that’s actually satisfying, it’s got roasted cauliflower, richly seasoned chickpeas, and a tahini dressing that brings it all together. It’s a walk-in spot that can get busy during the weekends, but it’s absolutely worth the wait for a table." - heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager, sinead cranna, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Demitasse - Review - Wimbledon - London - The Infatuation

"We feel like we’re in a beach club in Dubai anytime we have an eggs benedict in this airy cafe in Wimbledon Village. The aesthetically pleasing setup looks like it belongs on Molly Mae’s neutral-heavy mood board but Demitasse is more than just looks. It’s a firm favourite when it comes to brunch in Wimbledon because of the rich tomato baked eggs and the spiced banana french toast that we’d rather not share. We have been regular visitors of Demitasse for quite some time, and it remains one of our favourite neighbourhood cafés. This charming, small French restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, and they always welcome our waggy companion with a smile. The service is consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Over the years, we have brought many friends here, and without exception they have loved the signature French toast with cinnamon. My personal favourite is their special omelette with chorizo and nuts, served on charcoal bread—a perfect combination of healthy and flavourful. Their tacos also make a delightful brunch option. Demitasse serves breakfast and lunch only, with the kitchen closing at 3 p.m. They offer a good selection of coffees and pastries, though their cooked menu is truly the highlight and highly recommended. We warmly encourage all neighbours to visit Demitasse London and enjoy this wonderful local gem.

Great coffee and delicious breakfast. The interior is bright and stylish and the offer indoor and outdoor seating. They have a good selection of menu and pastry options. Everything we had was delicious and well prepared. The staff was very friendly too.

We ordered Americano, smoothie and two sets of brunch. Sadly there was a hair on the Americano… we gently asked the staff to change our drinks and pointed out the hair that was swimming on the Americano we didn’t want to make a huge deal out of it. But there was no apology or any explanation which felt like the issue was ignored. As you can imagine we felt like there could be hair on our food too the whole time we were eating feeling tense. Definitely it was not the experience we were hoping for. When we paid I later realised they fully charged us for the food and drinks which is fine on top they charged us the service charge as well that’s not the way you treat your customers if you want them to keep coming back especially we live 2 min walking from the restaurant. Such a shame I won’t be going back

Slick and stylish inside. More seating than you’d expect from the outside. Delicious French toast! Super friendly staff who were attentive and cleared up efficiently. Great atmosphere for breakfast/brunch.

Good service and food was good too. A little bit on the pricey side though. I had a French toast with fruit and jam was very nice but the portion size I would say is a little small.

Demitasse never disappoints me. Their service and food are always great. This time, we went there for brunch. As there were no available tables inside at first, they kindly offered us a spot in the outdoor seating area. Once a table became available indoors, they quickly moved us inside. The staff is always very attentive and polite. We loved our brunch and coffee, too. Also, this place is always very clean which I love most🥰 If you are in Wimbledon Village, I highly recommend visiting Demitasse for a delicious brunch and great coffee.

The staff here are lovely and this is coupled with great service. No complaints can be made about the quality of food here - everything is super fresh and prepared to a great standard. A great breakfast location :)

The menu sounded more enticing than what was served imo. Food was decent but nothing spectacular. Tea prices were higher than coffee which seems wild when you consider the effort to make both drinks. Additionally they charge extra for milk alternatives (+50p) which arrived separated/split. When we enquired they said “that’s what it always looks like” so I’d suggest they change their supplier! Lovely atmosphere though
