Democracy Brewing Eastie

We saw that there was a new place with a patio and fish tacos had just opened. But when we got there, we were told there weren't any fish tacos on the menu, so that was a bummer. The mango habanero wings had no mango habanero sauce, pretty bland. Tator tots were good. Tacos were a bit dry. The drinks, however, were delicious!! And the staff was really nice. The patio seating would have been better if we weren't eaten alive by mosquitoes but we know that's not the restaurants fault, it is my fault for having such delicious blood. I'll give this place another shot when it gets a little bit more established!

This place allows dogs on the patio which is great. Their tacos are what to get! They are full of flavor, juice, and have enough spice. The bone-in wings, blueberry BBQ, came out cold and did not have great flavor. The service was great! The beer was decent too. They did not have a lot of options but their IPA was good and had decent flavor

Just two weeks old when I visited in 7/25. Good variety of brews and food is Mexican. A small location with friendly staff. A oasis in brewing desert in eat Boston

Democracy is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The tacos and beer are delicious, but DO NOT sleep on the tater tots! We had a great time hosting our Eastie Book Babes meeting here, and can't wait to do it again next year. This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

Opening day... great to finally have a brewery in Eastie! Beer is good, space is nice, our friend had food and they really like it. Hoping they do well, we will be back soon.

Stumbled upon this place in East Boston and had maybe the best tacos of my life. We came back the next day with friends and had them again! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is chill. 10/10 would recommend. I’d add a photo but I was to excited to eat and didn’t take one!

Came here twice so far while on vacation. Both times service was great. And let me tell you, the tacos were AMAZING! Full of flavor, I’d order a million of them. My mixed drink was great and beer was tasty. We will probably be back again before we leave.

Stopped in after arriving into town. It's more of a dive bar but it was clean, good service. Area was so so. Not an area I'd probably walk around by myself. I could tell this place likely gets busy with regular on Friday and Saturday nights. The drinks were ok and the food was good.

The food, service and beer were good. Patio is small but cute. There is a lot of potential here so I'm excited to see the growth. A couple of things: they do not have the same menu as the main location. I'm not sure what the decision was but the eastie location serves hispanic food, tacos, because that's apparently all we can sell in Jeffries. ‍ Also the interior try's to cover the old building style with pictures and lanterns which looks tacky instead of leaning into it. It was good but I was thrown off from what I was initially expecting.

My new favorite pub. Awesome food, the chef knows what he is doing! Tacos with handmade corn tortillas, so tender, try the chicken with the mango salsa. Great beer of course and great cocktails if that's what you're looking for. Super-friendly service, it is the place to go in East Boston.
