Karaoke Tuesdays with KJ Max. Nice restaurant and bar. Crowd is always chill. There's one pool table. I just don't like their margarita mixer on taco Tuesdays. It's very sour.

Server made me a non spicy bloody per my request and it was amazing. The cook is dedicated to making sure you get a delicious meal. Happy with our choice to visit here.

Food is great... staff is even better! The ladies are attentive and pour a proper drink. All its missing is live music.

Nice place to have a couple cold beers, pitchers with cold glass, good food, sports over flat screens friendly service, no patio but outside bench for smoking

This is about the 4th time I have been here. The staff is always really nice, the food and the service is a little slow but it's worth the wait. We had gone for taco Tuesday the week before and the drinks were good and so were the tacos so we decided to come back yesterday. Last night I visited with my wife and our family member from out of town. What a disappointment, I was really embarrassed too. On 8/24/22 about 7 pm we arrive and had a seat when the waitress came over she had a look of "I don't want to be here and I hate my job". I ignored her attitude and put an order in for drinks and tacos. 20 minutes later she returns with our drinks, and they were served in these little glasses, almost like a large shot glass, with these really long paper striped straws. My wife said to the waitress " last Tuesday when we came in for drinks, we order the same thing, and the glasses were pint-size glasses" before my wife could say anything else the waitress snapped and said, "IM NEW ON TUESDAYS AND THESE ARE THE GLASSES I USE AND IF YOU ORDER MORE ILL TRY TO USE ANOTHER GLASS!!!!'' and she walked away. Wow!! we all three looked at each other in shock!!! I am all for supporting the local business but will not allow any person to speak to me and my family like that. We got up and walked out. This is somewhere I enjoyed but will never return to because of this one employee. A note to management, listen and pay attention to how your staff treats your customers. Customer service is key in every business and this one employee will cost you a lot of customers. I would assume she is family to someone and thinks it's okay to be rude and disrespectful to paying customers. This is never okay.

I been coming here for years. It's warm and cozy. The food is fabulous, the kitchen never let's me down. The customers in the afternoon and evening are always happy and friendly a long with the staff. 6 star's out of 5 is my rating

This place is great! We always have a lot of fun here especially on Trivia night. Excellent service and the food is very good. Always have a myriad of sports playing on the tvs. Relaxed, casual, fabulous little neighborhood place.

Been coming to Dempseys for yearssss and today, we decided to try Sunday breakfast. What a great experience! Food was so good, the plentiful, VERY reasonably priced in these times and the sweet Lauren was the icing on the g on the cake! A new Sunday breakfast place! I had the HUGE breakfast burrito with bacon that was big, full of home potatoes, cheese and fluffy eggs. Salsa was delish! Hubby had the biscuits and gravy which came with eggs and ham. Plate was FULL! We tried a pancake and that was amazingly good too! Thanks for being our local friendly bar that feels like family! Xoxoxo

Fun place it's a local joint. It's been there a long time the food is really good actually. I had that bacon lettuce and tomato with french fries. And my girlfriend had the Philly steak sandwich and chili cheese fries which I ate some of hers of course. But I think you'd enjoy it.

Went in with a friend that frequents this bar. We ordered wine. They only offer Bogle. I ordered a basket of fries as well. Service was meh, and this is a typical dive bar, lots going on. Every night they have some special going on and they have trivia nights as well in Wednesday. The people that I met were friendly. The person o went with knew practically everyone except the bartender that was serving us. They have a pool table as well if that's your stick.

I am a regular at Dempseys, much less so lately. The bar staff complains about customers, to other customers, and service is generally much slower than it used to be. A couple of bar tenders in particular struggle to successfully multi-task, forgetting drinks and orders. Often times when re-ordering, they seem to look right through you or pretend not to hear you. When bar staff friends or family are in the establishment (frequently), the poor service is that much worse. There was about a 6 week stretch late last year that the restrooms were closed for repair. The staff was much vocal about their own inconveniences, rather than sympathize with customers. I hope things improve soon, this used to be a great neighborhood bar.

I love this place but one of the bartenders won't make me coffee when I come. It sucks that he thinks that his opinion of whether or not I should have coffee when he works trumps the fact that a customer is asking for something that is readily available and he refuses to give to them. Besides the 'dad' behind the bar, this place is wonderful. It's Friday night and I'm drinking water at the bar...

People that work here are great. Food is good. The owner can't figure out this place needs another waitress or bar tender to make it enjoyable for us the people who show up. Bar waits are long for drinks only because the people behind the bar are working too much!

My 4 star review is strictly for our server, and the fact that we frequent this place. Came in to close out my dad's bday weekend on a Sunday night. Let's just say we miss Luis. I ordered a mixed green salad with fried chicken on top. When it came out, i received a salad with cold grilled chicken on there. I let the food server/female chef know and kindly asked for fried chicken. She asked me to keep the old one and advised she would just bring me fried chicken. I kindly asked her to just remake it. When the remake came out, she dropped it on the table and said "here ya go" I received my fried chicken on a bed of lettuce with only tomatoes/cucumbers. NOTHING ELSE. (Please reference the menu to see what the mixed green salad ACTUALLY entails) Our server came back around to check on us. I mentioned that the chef wasn't very pleasant. The response was "no comment" lol. I get it... it's a Sunday night. But from someone who's been in the restaurant industry, the least you could do is apologize and have a smile on your face. This experience was unfortunate but won't change the fact that i will keep returning...

For a busy night, Megan made me an amazing Michelada, followed by amazing carnitas nachos!

If it was possible to rate the is bar lower i would. I went there tonight with my brother in law and we were attacked by approximately 7 "regulars", for accidentally bumping one of their "girls" with a pool cue. After I was able to stabilize the situation I asked the bartender why she didn't call the cops and she responded that "they are my regulars". Don't go here. You may get harrassed by "locals" and the staff will not do anything to stop their "regulars" from harrassing you. Don't go here. You may get harrassed. No one will help you. I live locally and have a ton of neighbors who go there. I will be telling EVERY one of them how I was treated and that the bartenders do not have the best interest of their patrons in mind.

So we love Dempseys but this is the second time in recent weeks we have been double charged. So my options are keep a tally at the table or not go to Dempseys. Really sad. When we said something because we had DDs it was adjusted. It seems they just double every drink order hoping suckers don't notice. Sad. We were regulars. No more.

We use to love this place but recently the service has been terrible. It's Sunday night and there's 4 people working but no one actually serving. There's one guy trying to take care of people, some young kid doing nothing, and another woman drinking and watching the game, don't know what the others are doing. Our friends were waiting an hour for food. What happened to this place ? We also walked out the other day after sitting forever at the bar and no one said a word to us.

Great local bar that shows and embraces all sports including Soccer, Rugby and Cricket. Ice cold schooners and deep fried wings.

Good ole Dempseys! lol, this is a neighborhood bar in every sense. Those of us in our 30's laugh at the fact its essentially a high school reunion if you went to Millikan and maybe Lakewood in the early 2000's. The food here is real good and affordable even for a dive bar. Fun atmosphere on football nights which come with beer specials. Weekends are when I show up and it's always a great scene because people get along well and theres rarely any issues with people getting too drunk. Bartenders are great and do their jobs well. It's a bit small, but I don't see this place packed too much so the size is almost irrelevant. Great place to get some drinks, enjoy the jukebox and hang with your friends :)

I'm here now, received a menu, gracious and lovely bartender... however had to find the "3 Sliders and Fries" special all day Saturday for $8 via the electronic billboard inside the establishment... would have been nice to know that from my server...

As we all are coming back from Covid, We thought we would head down to Dempey's and have a beer and burgers. The food was good, the beer could be colder. First night we went had fun and enjoyed the crowd. The second night we went on Karaoke night and it was disappointing. They were 30 minutes late, after setting up the equipment he then went to the bar and got food. Brought some people with him and they were the first people to get up. I didn't stay too long so I don't know if any regulars got up. ** Dempsey's you really need to review your staff. If they stay after shift they should not take over the place.

You get a 3 because during the day... sitting at the bar.. stellar... right now.. one server. Trying to handle the whole place. Leaving after one. Would have stayed for at least 3 .. you are losing money by not staffing.. 3rd time this has happened.

We have so many friends here! This is our neighborhood bar and always nice to see neighbors and friends we've known throughout the years!

Luis is the absolute best! This bar is clean and friendly and everything we hoped for at a last minute stop. The other bartender Zoe is so sweet and gorgeous. Such great service here you will NOT regret making a stop here!

Horrible service. Bartenders are more interested in talking to each other, or the bartender who just got off than serving people waiting for drinks. Beers are warm, food is just average or below average. Used to be so much better!!!

I just started coming to this place it's really great I love the people that serve the drinks and in general the people that are there are pretty nice people So I believe you can have a good time get something to eat And have fun now to try and get the owner to buy me dinner hehehe Captain Morgan

Chill, good food, good drinks, have a juke box stereo with todays hits, pool table, and they really don't bother you other than to take your orders at a table but talk with u if u sit at the bar:) good place

Very disappointed in this "Sports Bar" Have been coming here all summer and have had nothing but good experiences until last night. I came in to watch football but in the middle of the game two people out of the whole bar wanted music instead of listening to the football game so that's what they got. Definitely do not recommend this place if you want to watch the games. Very disappointing trip. Won't be back until football season is over. I'll go somewhere I can watch and hear the games.

Really disappointing. Came with a group of friends wanting to have a good time. It took a while to order our first drink. The bar back had to tell the bartenders to help us. The bartenders never came back to ask us for another round. We tried flagging them several times to order again. Nothing. AND, we were at the bar. Not a great vibe. Won't be coming back here.

Atmosphere was friendly. It looks like a fun place for locals. Burger was dry. Beer and tater tots were excellent. Service could have been better but we know everyone is suffering with staff shortages so I don't judge on that.

Came in last night and had the greatest time! Kylie was absolutely amazing and so friendly. Joined in for karaoke and had the best time. Can't wait to go back in and sing the night away. The food was delicious and service was even better. Will definitely recommend this to friends and family

Stephanie is a great vibe and a great bartender to drink around. I highly recommend coming on the days she works and you won't have to worry about having a good time and great service!

This place is Chill. Drinks are cold, bartenders are really nice and remember you. No bad vibes here.

Went there on Sunday mornings during football season and the staff did a pretty good job lining up the early games on their monitors depending on the early crowd. No complaints there, however breakfast was a different story. Their cook does not know how to cook eggs! Doesn't matter how you order them, over easy, medium, sunny side up.....there always over cooked! I even ordered scrambled one time and they were so over cooked I thought I could bounce them off the floor! Ham tasted like cardboard, sausage links were hard as nails...nope, won't be going there anymore.

My new favorite dive to go to on the weekends. Lemon Pepper wings are so good. The staff is super friendly and so is the atmosphere. Drinks ain't bad either. Nice parking lot with plenty of spaces. Worth giving a try.

This used to be a great locals bar. Vibe now sucks. The owner didn't keep his best bartender(s) who were very friendly and drew in a crowd. I'd recommend Tracy's or the El Dorado before thinking of going here.

I had their burger and really liked it and the fries. I was a wimp and had diet soda because I was about to meet with my boss and didn't wanna have glazed over eyes lol. Beers looked cold and huge so I will return and dish out another star or two after I check out their libations

Highly recommend this place which has great food, drinks and friendly service/ atmosphere! Especially recommend Sundays to watch the games. Another note they are friendly to our veterans, especially the Marines! . On the USMC birthday served a free drink to those who served. Semper Fi!

Came here on New Years Eve for some drinks and the bartender seemed a little dry humored when we ordered our first drinks. We waited for our second round for awhile she walked by a couple times and didn't ask if we needed anything when our drinks were clearly empty and on the edge of the bar. Then while she was having a conversation with the regulars we nicely said "hey can we order another round" and she said "yea. when I'm done having a conversation I'll help you". Turns out it wasn't dry humor, just her being rude. We've been here a handful of times and it's been great but the bartender that was working on NYE needs to learn some customer service skills. Go when Brittany and Stephanie are working and you'll have good service.

We love this spot for trivia on Wednesday nights with Jay. Lauren and Megan are always working hard to serve a very crowded bar! We also come in Mondays after softball with Kylie (hope I spelled that right) lol. She is AWESOMESAUCE!!! Thanks Dempseys!

I wish I could say I had the same experience as some of the others have or maybe we came in on a bad night. My wife and I came in because we saw they are under new management. First off they had some sort of golf auctions going on. The place was extremely busy. We waited 20 min just trying to get someone attention to serve us and at that time my wife decided to go to the bar and low and behold she even had a hard time getting help at the bar. So we finally get our fist round of drinks. I went with a 805 and the wife got a shot and some mix drink. My beer was hot and I figured due to the cycling of the beer glasses. Wife enjoyed her drink. At this time most of the people left now that the golf auction was over. Even at that point I figured the customer service would of improved. But that didn't happen. I was ready to leave but the wife was being patient beyond belief. We finally got the opportunity to order food. I had 2 more beers and each beer was a different temperature, crazy right. I got the cheeseburger and my wife got the club sandwich. Food was not bad but wasn't great either just ok. The chef brought us an order of free wings. Said they are left over from the auction. Wings definitely needed a little more cooking so the skin would of been crispy and not gelatinous like the ones we received. I might give this another try or go back to the bar I enjoy the 49er bar and tavern.

If you're looking for a bar to come watch a sports game and grab a nice cold beer to drink with friends, I highly recommend this Irish pub bar. There's a new bar owner his name is Brent. Super cool respectful guy and the food here is great. Gotta try their wings and burgers. Definitely coming here for sports games with friends!

Tonight we went to Dempsey's. But we left after sitting at a tall round table near door w/o being helped for over 10 minutes despite two people working. One was chatting with customer at bar, not taking order but chatting as if she wasn't at work. The other one had cleared the table we were at shortly before we sat down. She walked yo booth on far side and back behind bar. No acknowledgement we were new customers at the table she cleared. We finally left and went to The Eldo. It will be a while before we go to Dempsey's again. We used to go there regularly but the prices have gotten out of hand with increases (pitchers of domestic went from $10 to $15), food specials were eliminated and several good servers have left. As a result, Dempsey's is the last place we opt to go to...Unless we know AMY is working because she's awesome and we get good service when she is working.

I just want to say I absolutely love this place! I was skeptical coming here because of all the white people, but I was surprised how friendly everyone is. The owner and the bartender Louis is so F**king cool. Im going to blow up yelp for now on with Dempsey's.
