I've been to this restaurant a couple of times for dinner as its pretty close to my work place, so this is a combined review of multiple visits.
The restaurant is located in a converted farmhouse, beautifully done up and you absolutely need to make a reservation to come here, as they get super busy. I was told that the Chef is from an ex-Michelin star restaurant, but wanted to downsize and heck yeah, we reap the rewards when he made this decision, cause I can sum up this place in 4 words: Excellent food and service!
Honestly, my recommendation is to get any of the fish dishes. They are beautifully cooked and just the right amount of protein to carb and veggies ratio to make you full, without feeling stodgy. So far I have had the Catch of the day, which came with this amazing langoustine sauce and then also the Pike Perch, which had crispy skin that was so good! Also recommend getting a basket of the Chips on the side cause the ones here are awesome-sauce! The Duck Liver dish too has been unctuous without any gaminess coming thru in the taste. Drinks are on point and I also got some great ginger tea - it was very fancy with a pick thru chunky ginger pieces. Also the desserts are light as air - had the Mille Fuille and it was pretty darn good!
I want to also give a shout out to one of the servers, Madeline is super sweet and gives great explanations of the food. But everyone I have encountered has been indeed very friendly. Definitely plan to keep coming back.
