Google
Nice quaint breakfast spot. Staff were kind. Pancakes were delicious- I had the avocado and bacon ones. The pancakes were delicious and had each layer with the ingredients. My only improvement would be they have salt and pepper on the table, but for a place that sells pancakes you would expect to have maple syrup there too (you have to pay an extra 40czk for syrup) and I think it would've made my pancakes better (but I didn't try the syrup as on a budget)

Google
Pancakes are okay, but I prefer savory dishes over sweet ones. The location is great, right in the center of the city, which makes it a convenient choice for brunch or breakfast. One issue is the space — the restaurant is quite small, and even with just three people, it felt a bit cramped. Still, the atmosphere was okay, and we managed. The prices are reasonable, and the food is decent for what it is. If you’re nearby and looking for a casual place to eat, it’s worth trying.

Google
Lovely food, the pancakes are the perfect amount of soft and chewy. Generous portions and a wide range of tea and coffee options. The servers Anna and Clara are very attentive and made sure that everything was just right - I was extremely impressed with the service.

Google
It’s a quaint little spot, with incredible GF pancakes, and the sweetest staff around feels like a real find. The savory pancakes are sublime, and the sweet ones had me dreaming of them upon my return to Prague. Definitely worth the wait you’re likely to experience if you come on a weekend. The place is tiny, but the turn over is pretty quick. I think we only needed to wait twenty minutes and about six folks were ahead of us. The pictures don’t do justice, but I felt it was an important thing to write a little bit about this wonderful hidden gem.

Google
Who would have known the BEST PANCAKE in the world is in Prague!! 🥞 the pancakes look thin, but when they are layered on top of each other…. Absolute YUMMM. Fluffiest pancakes exploding in your mouth. I first had my best pancake no.1 at Den Noc 10 years ago when I was a student in Prague. I think the store might have just opened then. I had my best pancake no.2 today finally! Pictures are pancakes from today and 10 years ago. Both were marvelous. DELICIOUS. Thank you for the chef and owner who keep the store’s door open - to be honest I almost cried when I had my pancake today. I missed these pancakes a lot! I am so grateful that I could re-visit Prague and also Den Noc, and I will be coming back for the best pancake no.3. Hopefully it won’t take 10 years this time!

Pancakes were really good. Tried smoked salmon, it was delicious, with salmon layered between each layer of pancakes. Matcha and iced coffee were great too!

Google
Amazing pancakes!!! We went the day before around 9am and it was impossible to try them, it was full. Today we were the second clients at 8:30, and at 9 it was full. So if you want to try the great pancakes, you should be there early. The service is also very good and kind.

Google
Great little pancake spot. We only got the sweet pancakes but they were really delicious and fluffy, especially compared to the pancakes at Venue. Would strongly recommend adding bacon if you’re getting sweet pancakes too! Coffee was decent too.

Yelp
Date of visit: June 3, 2024 Easily one of the best meals we had across nine days and three European cities! We wanted something light before doing a walking food tour and this happened to be in the area near where we had to meet the tour and of course the great Yelp reviews helped make this an easy decision. Everything we had was wonderful, from the service to the subtle touches with napkins featuring the logo of the restaurant on them, to of course the food. I had a matcha latte that was quite tasty and I was worried about it as my luck with most coffee drinks in Europe has not been great but this was excellent. My banana pancakes were everything! My husband had the hazelnut pancakes and also gave them two thumbs up. I loved my little window seat, too so definitely try and snag that if you can. Beware, this place--like many places in Prague, is small so prepare to wait if you have a larger party.

Yelp
While staying in the Prague in the Old Town section while on vacation I found this place on Yelp and they had very positive reviews. Short walk from our hotel so my wife and gave it a go. We both had the scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. Eggs were cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh. The Double Expresso I had gave me the jolt I needed to start my day! The price was very good and restaurant itself is very quaint. Enjoyed it very much and highly recommend.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! I decided to stop here after reading some of the overwhelmingly positive reviews and I'm so glad that I did! Their pancake options are very creative and delicious! They have sweet options and savory options. I had never had the opportunity to try savory pancakes before, but I am very happy that I tried them here because they ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. They have a small dining room, so I'm surprised it wasn't full--likely because of a temporary cash-only issue--but space will definitely fill up quickly during a rush. That said, the staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Such an amazing little dining experience! If you see this review, you must try it!

Yelp
Great cheap breakfast! I got the scrambled eggs, pancakes and bacon and it was so yummy. Fluffy pancakes and eggs and good flavorful bacon. I will definitely be coming back to try more!

Yelp
Such a cute little place with great service and quality food. This is a very unique place to have breakfast and really recommend stopping by. Everything is beautifully presented and oh so tasty! You will leave feeling ready to take on the day and the coffee is so great you may take another to go like I did!

Yelp
The kid slept until 9. I guess expecting no jet lag was unreasonable, but it gave me an opportunity to do a more extended search for breakfast. A few mentions of savory pancakes and I was in. There are five tables, although two are six seaters and groups can share and the space is immaculate. We quickly narrowed down the huge list of options to our choices and waited. The small pancakes take a little longer than the rest, just because there are so many of them. My wife's pancakes (not pictured) were halloumi, hummus and avocado which were creamy, bright and delicious. The salmon pancakes were rich, tangy and salty, everything I could have hoped. The seven-year-old managed to have all the fruit, most of the pancakes and a side of bacon and then asked if we can return one more time before we leave. Do yourself a favor and visit.

Yelp
Not much seating inside so I had to wait just a few minutes for a table. Very cute and cozy, great service as well! I got the smoked salmon pancake with 2 scrambled eggs but wish I got the larger portion smoked salmon / sour cream combination. Their coffee was strong and woke me up that morning!
google avatar

Yelp
One of our best breakfast options this European tour! Pancakes, eggs and bacon made so many different ways. Our service was wonderful but be prepared for a wait. Love the simplicity of the menu but so many ways to mix it up.

Yelp
Legitimately would consider a return visit to Prague solely to eat her again! We caught wind of this place on a travelogue on YouTube, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is located within old-town, a short stroll from the clock, but it is not touristy or underwhelming in the least! One thing to note is that there is limited seating inside. There were only 5-6 tables, so plan your visit accordingly. We came on a weekday morning, and didn't have to wait for a table. Prices were extremely reasonable, under $10 for a filling meal. The staff speaks English, service is good and fairly fast. I ordered a PBJ pancake. Oh my goodness, this might have been the best shortstack I've had in my life. The pancakes were so light and fluffy. The peanut butter was creamy, and the peanut toppings provided a nice crunch. Still dreaming about taking a bite out of these little clouds. It was honestly hard to choose from all of the amazing-sounding options. This would be my first stop on a return visit to Prague- would probably dine here multiple mornings so that I could try everything!

Yelp
Great food, fast service. Best pancakes I've ever had! Went in 2019 and again 2025 and both times were lovely!

Yelp
Great food and drinks, matcha Den Noc is really refreshing, repressive strength is pretty good friendly staff environment feels like homes!

Yelp
When I studied abroad in Prague this was my FAVORITE place. The most amazing little pancakes - I got the cheddar and chive pancakes all the time. It's a cute little cafe, perfect for a cup of coffee and some breakfast.

Sijie L.

Yelp
Fantastic service and food, our first meal in Prague comes out with a big bang!! We had a very good experience here, thank you very much for the hospitality and great food! Kalara and the coffee lady are THE BEST
google avatar

Yelp
Delightful pancakes and delish coffee. Who knew a savory pancake would work? Hearing one rave about this place, Mr & I decided to give it a try & luckily we got the last table before they started making people wait outside Sweet for me - plum jam & sour cream Savory for the Mr - 3 cheeses and sesame salad The pancakes themselves were not sweet so they could let the toppings / fillings do all the talking Mr & I split our dishes so we could have the best of both worlds & we savored every bite

Yelp
My partner is obsessed with American style pancakes and so I found this place to be a perfect stop while visiting Prague! We both enjoyed our sweet pancake dishes. Him with the Lindt banana pancakes and I tried the peanut butter and jelly. Unique combinations and it was hard to chose from the menu! We came on a Tuesday morning and were only 1 of 2 tables occupied. Small spot so I assume it's busy on the weekends or in high tourist season. Good stop for brunch or breakfast.

Yelp
I wish we would've found this place sooner. The food & service were both really good. They have pancakes, both savory and sweet. So if you're adventurous, you can try savory (not common in US). I had the sweet Den Noc pancakes & ordered a side of bacon. I've noticed the bacon doesn't come crispy here in Praha, but I'm okay with that. My husband ordered more of an English breakfast. I heard other customers customize their pancake toppings and if they can have their eggs fried instead of scrambled. The only downside is that it is a small place & the tables are really close to each other.

Yelp
Was recommended to check this place out for breakfast by a fellow yelper! Certainly did not disappoint. My family and I ordered 7 savories and 3 sweets to share. Whoever said the the portion was small must had a hugeeeee appetite. One entree per person was more than enuff. Out of the savories, my personal fav was the pork and spinach. Perfectly seasoned, evenly layered - and the consistency of the pancakes... oh my.. slightly crisped and chewy. Out of the sweets, we loved the chopped up pancakes tossed in brown sugar and topped with strawberries. Downed with a tall glass of milk, I could have this breakfast every day for the rest of my life. Overall - Knock my socks off good. The owner/staffs were super welcoming and friendly. Felt treated just like family. Skip the complimentary breakfast in your hotel/hostel - this is a must!!

Yelp
I found this spot on Yelp with the hopes of finding something a little more "New Age Czech"--not that I don't mind goulash and duck confit with bread dumplings for every meal. Den Noc stemmed out of a couple's two loves: wine and food. One being passionate for wine, the other food (particularly pancakes), so they married the two into a pancakes and wine bar. Den Noc is located a few blocks from the Historic square on a quiet side street. The space allows for five tables and two small benches on the front windows looking into the sidewalk. The menu offers some creative pancake combos like plums with marscapone, honey butter banana, and the one I opted for cherry, rum chocolate pancakes. Note that they also offer several savory options- best of both worlds for a group with mixed palettes. The wine menu was impressive as well as the coffee and soda offerings. I ended up with the elderflower lemonade. I didn't realize until this trip how into flavored lemonade the Czechs are. Next time, I would probably opt for a coffee drink to offset the sugar of the pancakes. The staff was friendly and service was fairly quick. Handy tip: they accept credit cards.

Yelp
This was the first place I Czeched out upon arriving at Prague from Budapest. I had not eaten at least 14 hours prior to this so I was very Hungary. So far this place has delivered the best breakfast I''ve had in Europe so far. However their portions are pretty small. Even the XL pancakes were pretty small in my opinion. Then again maybe it's cause Americans make pancakes super huge. The pancakes here taste very light, fluffy, soft and are easy to eat. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon went well with the pancakes. My friend ordered the bacon, avocado and cheese pancake. The bacon was very chewable, the avocado was thinly sliced and soft. These items weren't just on the top of the pancake, they were also in each layer of the 4 layered pancake. There was a small line outside this restaurant but people eat and leave quickly so we didn't have to wait that long for a table. Overall a really delicious and warming breakfast. No one makes pancakes better than this restaurant! I recommend ordering more than 1 item from this menu since the portions are small. This place is conveniently located next to Old Town Square.

Yelp
One of the most interesting breakfast places we tried in Prague. It has an option for every type of person. They have every kind of sweet and savory pancakes out there. I loved the smoked salmon pancake I ordered. This is the place to write home about and I wish they had these options in the states. Make sure to have reservations!

Michelle T.

Yelp
This was the perfect breakfast spot. The owners and their children were there when we dined in and you could tell the restaurant is well loved and cared for. It's small but the server did a beautiful job at keeping things moving and ensuring the wait times never got long. We were fortunate to sit before the rush but even if you have to wait - it's well worth it. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and vibrant. Great start to a day in Prague!

Yelp
This review is meant for August 2017 when my husband and I got to go on our late honeymoon. I finally get a chance to write some reviews with school being on winter break. We came across this gem when I was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant. I saw the great reviews that this place had and made sure to check this out for one of our mornings before heading back to the US. I highly recommend coming here early because the place is rather small and have limited seats. We were lucky enough to find a table located right by the window. The place is such a cute spot and I would recommend it for anyone. We came here for breakfast and ended up getting their infamous pancakes. I got the "bacon, banana, maple syrup" pancake with the Double espresso. My husband got the regular espresso with the "Rukola, Grand Moravia, Creme Fraiche, eggs" pancake. Both are highly recommended and delish! I honestly love how the portions are here, because it was not a heavy breakfast that made us go back to our hostel and nap before the day actually began. This place deserves the positive raves/reviews on here. I recommend this place to be a breakfast stop in Prague whenever you get the chance!

M S.

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast restaurant with a variety of foods including sweet pancakes and savory pancakes. It is a bit small so be prepared for a short wait during busy times, but definitely worthwhile. Staff is wonderful, and it is a nice stop before heading out for a day of touring or wandering. Well eating out in Prague is no longer a bargain, it was still pretty reasonable, especially considering the high-quality of the food.
google avatar

Anja P.

Yelp
Great breakfast and super sweet store. Love it. Pancakes sweet as well as saltey are great!

Sarah R.

Yelp
Amazing food! Sweet and savory pancakes, good coffee. Small seating area so be prepared for a wait, but so worth it!

Erin Y.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast for our whole family. Everyone was satisfied. We share a savory pancake and a sweet one. Our kids enjoyed their eggs and bacon :)
google avatar

Marta K.

Yelp
This is a great hidden little brunch spot in Prague. If you like something less touristy, walk out of the main square and about a 7-10min walk away is this little cute spot! They specialize in pancakes but they are not your regular pancakes! We ordered the Salmon one and they put smoked salmon and the sauce in between every layer. So delicious! The space is really small you you may need to wait a little bit but they are very efficient and you won't need to wait too long. The staff are great! And another little bonus is that they speak English! This makes life so much easier when traveling abroad! We recommend this place if you're in the mood for some good pankakes!
google avatar

Fernando A.

Yelp
After having breakfast here, my wife kept saying "I wish we had savory pancakes back home!" These pancakes were so good. She had a stack of pancakes layered with goat cheese and mushrooms. Think of it like a crepe, but made with layered pancakes. I had a more traditional "american breakfast "with eggs, bacon, and plain pancakes on the side. However, I regret not ordering the prosciutto and cheese pancakes that the lady next to me was eating. This place is a block off of Namesti Republiky, so if you are site seeing in the area, it's a great spot for breakfast. We may need to go back again while we are here!
google avatar

Sharon W.

Yelp
The best breakfast/brunch place for a few reasons: 1. Fluffy pancakes 2. Delicious drinks 3. Unique dishes 4. Cute interior I came in hating pancakes and left loving them. It's rare to find restaurants that offer savory pancakes & Den Noc PERFECTS the taste & presentation is not too shabby either. I might just return to Prague solely for this! However, it is a small place with few tables so be prepared to wait, especially if you have a larger party.
google avatar

Anthony G.

Yelp
Pancakes with smoked salmon and chives were savory. Eating pancakes like this make me think of crepes. Portions are just right. Espresso was good. My wife had the mini pancakes with fruit and scrambled eggs. The eggs were perfect. This is a nice little place with room for about 22-22 people. It was clean and service was satisfactory. I'd come back again.
google avatar

Pooline N.

Yelp
Was very excited to try the place but pretty underwhelmed as there was nothing standout. I think it may have been a bad choice of order. Had the bacon and avo pancakes which ate really dry, it needed some sort of sauce to complete the dish. We also tried the lindt chocolate and banana pancakes with cream. This was delicious. Be prepared for a line and a wait if you go at peak times
google avatar

Fallon G.

Yelp
Den Noc is such a cute little spot! When we walked in, there was an empty table available, and immediately after, a line of people formed outside and there was a 30 minute wait. We wanted to try something different, so we ordered the savory pancakes. The egg, cheese, and arugula pancakes were probably my favorite, and we also ordered the bacon, avocado, and feta pancakes. They go perfectly with a nice cafe Americano. Excellent for a weekend brunch!
google avatar

Kathleen D.

Yelp
Den Noc is a small eatery in the city center. I found it thanks to the high ratings on Yelp and came here for one of my last meals with my mom before she left the country. She ordered the mini pancakes topped with strawberries and I had the plum, gingerbread and sour cream pancakes. I tried hers and liked it much more than mine, but that's not to say mine wasn't good. It was just a bit too funky for me. However! I had been teetering around with several other options, so I will need to come back. I'd especially like to try their savory cakes. Central location; sweet shop. Friendly service!
google avatar

Vickie S.

Yelp
We ordered a cappuccino and two savory pancakes: 1. Homemade spinach, pork meat, and garlic 2. Chives, ham, and cheddar Super delicious and fluffy pancakes!! I have no idea how they achieve that texture. I'm not usually a fan of pancakes, but I could eat this every day. If we had a little more time, I would try a sweet pancake, too! Arrived around 9:50am on a Monday and snatched the last table. It did take about 15 minutes for our orders to arrive after we ordered.
google avatar

Bryan B.

Yelp
We were super excited to try Den Noc after the amazing photos. My wife and I both ended up ordering the pancakes topped with bacon, bananas, and adding an egg. While the meal was good, I didn't think it was anything special. The service inside was prompt and very friendly. If we were back in Prague tho we would try something different.
google avatar

Yoshikage K.

Yelp
Great place for pancakes! I especially like their breakfast raspberries over sliced pancakes.
google avatar

Marjory R.

Yelp
We had a lovely breakfast here this morning. My boyfriend and I split two orders of the savory pancakes (ham & cheddar, goat cheese & mushrooms) as well as an order of the sweet Lindt and banana pancakes. While the food was all absolutely delicious, the portions were small for the price we paid (750 CK with tip and two delicious cappuccinos included). Also, because the place is so small, it might take a while to be seated, and the food doesn't come out super fast. So, if you're really hungry don't come here because you will wait too long before you eat. Service was excellent and staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely come here again when I am next in Prague. If I could give half stars, I would give this place a 4.5 star rating.
google avatar

Iris H.

Yelp
Super fluffy pancakes and friendly service. This spot is cozy and cute. I was nervous to come in fear of a long wait, but husband and I got lucky! Arrived at 12:30pm on a Saturday and got the last vacant table for 2. Then there was a line/wait forming as we were eating. I would not want to have to be waiting outside in the 30F weather. :/ They have sweet AND savory pancakes neatly stacked onto a plate when served. Food was nicely presented. I tried the spinach pork garlic stack and bacon banana maple syrup stack. Have to say the bacon banana maple syrup stack was a clear winner, sooo good!! Sweet and a bit of salty. I thought the spinach pork garlic stack was too salty, but super interesting. Hot ginger lemon tea was perfect with the meal in the cold weather. Would definitely recommend and come back to try the other fluffy stacks if I visit Prague again!
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast spot. I'm an exchange student and was attempting to avoid tourist traps. I figured the most reviewed spot on Yelp was certainly a tourist trap but I figured I'd check it out. I was completely wrong. Small, homey, DELICIOUS breakfast destination. Moderate prices. Kind staff.
google avatar

Carla L.

Yelp
One of the few places in CZ that caters to gluten-free & lactose-free dietary restrictions. Went two mornings in a row for pancakes & coffee! Very cozy interior seating with a kind owner. She'll help adjust the order to your liking. Although it may appear that 4 stacked pancakes are small in size -- they are so delicious and filling. A MUST when in Prague!
google avatar

Steven K.

Yelp
Pretty crazy pancakes. We went back a 2nd time, we're going back for a 3rd round tomorrow before we leave. Who knew that you could do so much interesting stuff with pancakes! I asked them if I could buy the pancake recipe. They declined. Haha!
google avatar

Austin D.

Yelp
Highly recommend taking the time to go try this cute little breakfast stop. The restaurant itself is a little small. Although we did walk in and get a table for 2 with no wait. The service was excellent and they spoke great English. As for the food, the "Savory Pancakes" with Homemade Spinach, pork, and garlic were incredible. Great portions and value for the price. If I ever visit Prague again I will be making a return trip!
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
Original, creative and super affordable concept of layered pancakes. Great option for tourists looking for a western breakfast with a twist. Friendly employees although slightly understaffed, so wait times after ordering are a bit long. Expect a line at the entrance because the restaurant is very small, but the food is worth it! Meal with pancakes, side of eggs, and a bottle of wine (split 3 ways) was about $14!
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Just amazing. I've never seen such a big variety of pancakes. No matter if you like sweet or savory pancakes, every single one they make is very tasty. This place is usually very full so get ready to wait a little bit for a place to sit. But it's definitely worth the wait!

Toby T.

Yelp
Very very slow service. Feels like the restaurant had 1 burner and 1 pan to cook for the entire place. Everyone's dishes came staggered one after another (after a long wait). The price is not expensive but not worth what you receive. People are nice. But push for cash payment. Coffee is great.
google avatar

Dan B.

Yelp
Phenomenal breakfast at this small location. Highly recommend it!!! Great drinks and food.
google avatar

Colin D.

Yelp
Fantastic breakfast all around. The pancakes (both sweet and savory) are amazing. All the pancakes come in stacks of four with fillings in between each layer. The coffee is the best I've had in Prague. The "bacon" is as close to (but better than) American bacon as we've found in Prague. Another great find thanks to yelp. We got the ricotta and basil pesto savory pancakes and the chocolate pancakes with cherries. Both were good, but I think the ricotta and pesto stood out more. The light and fluffy pancakes helped to mellow out the thick, rich ricotta and pest while the slightly-salty and other flavors came out beautifully. The chocolate and cherries were great too and not so sweet that you couldn't finish them. There's only 6 tables for two (that can be combined in pairs to make them for four) in the place, so it's super-cozy, but it might be hard to find a seat when it's busier. The hostess was super-attentive and incredibly nice about everything. The coffee was also stunningly good. So good that everyone at the table got two. I had two double espressos that weren't bitter at all, but just genuinely good, not burnt espresso. My wife had two cappuccinos which looked fantastic and we also got some lattes that were served in an awesome way where you could see the layers of milk, coffee and foam. Come here if you at all can.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Delicious! We found this place one of our last days in Prague. If we had found it earlier, we would have eaten here every day! This is a small operation. There are 4 tables total. We ordered 3 different pancakes and they were all delicious. It was hard to pick a favorite. The Bacon, banana, maple syrup pancakes were great! My favorite was the cinnamon, sugar, butter, banana. Everything is made fresh when you order it. The pancakes are really really cheap for the quality! If we are ever back in Prague, be guaranteed that we will be at this amazing pancake place each and every day. Make reservations. Closed Mondays.
google avatar

Yelp
We've been in Prague for several days. For some reason we had not noticed this place, even though it is just steps away from our hotel. Wow! Best breakfast of the week! They make amazing pancake masterpieces here. We both had pancakes with bacon, avocado, feta cheese, and a fried egg on the side. I am not a huge pancake fan - it has been several months since I have eaten them. I would eat these all the time! My latte was as good as I have had anywhere, and the cappuccino was great. Highly recommend this for breakfast! Note: came back a second time. Completely different staff. Same outstanding results. They open at 8:30 am. We were there first. By 8:35, the place was full and a line had formed outside. Eat breakfast here!
