"Denica’s Real Food Kitchen is an East Bay favorite, with three locations spread throughout the Tri-Valley each serving savory and sweet Hawaiian-inflected brunch. Those looking for trendy spiral croissants will turn their heads at the supreme versions done here, such as the ube custard-filled option topped with coconut. But those looking for a heftier meal can order the loco moco fried chicken or the 100 Chile Benny, an eggs Benedict dish with chorizo, avocado, 100-chile hollandaise, and topped with tortilla strips." - Dianne de Guzman, Lauren Saria

Yelp
The breakfast vibe here is pretty cool. There are hella workers super focused and doing things with a purpose. I love that in a food based business because it shows a level of discipline that is lacking in the service industry... But that is another story. So this is my 3rd time coming here from about 30 miles away so I figured I better get something memorable. So what is unique about pancakes? Pancakes with strawberries and bananas? Blueberries and a sprig of mint with freshly made whip cream? Again, not making your ears perk up yet? Roll out the Ube Pancake with all of the above and an Ube Crem glaze over the top and you get exactly that! Over. The. Top! Probably the best pancake in about a decade plus and I've had some winners like blueberry cornmeal at Tower Cafe which were exceptional. This one is a game changer. That Uber glaze was decadent and mind blowing. If you can break down the ingredients good for you but sometimes you have to just leave it alone and savor the mystery that is Ube! Post Script:also my new favorite color :)

Yelp
Over-hyped soufflé pancakes, not worth the wait .. Overpriced compared to other good breakfast places around Egg combo was also below average .. We had a disappointing experience

Yelp
Nice breakfast and brunch place. You order at the cashier and they deliver your food at your table corresponding your number. It was a busy Saturday morning when I came. Lines were long but it moved quickly. Lots of places to seat so large party is A ok. There's a few seating outdoor too during a nice day. My classic French toast was delicious and I bought a huge cinnamon roll to go and that was also delicious. There's plenty of parking and located in an outskirts mall with other businesses. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Yelp
This was my first time at the Dublin location. I really like the cute family decor here. It was self seating so first come first serve. We ordered two Ube latte, Loco moco, ube pancakes, and Kalua pig hash. The ube latte tasted creamy with a good amount of ube flavor. The loco moco was really good and tasty. The patty was cooked well. The kalua pig hash was really good and flavorful. I could really taste the bbq flavor. The ube pancakes took longer to come out. It didn't come out until we were almost done with our other dishes. When the waitress brought out the pancakes she apologized for the lateness. She also gave us a box of cookies on the house. I thought that was a really sweet gesture. The pancakes were so good! It wasn't too sweet and it was fluffy.

Yelp
I'v been a Denica's customer since it first opened and its quality has declined the last 2-3 years. I ordered a tuna melt. The bread was cold and the cheese was also cold. The tuna was basic. The tuna melt and several other items on the menu can be improved. The cookies, pancakes and French toast however do not disappoint.

Yelp
This Denica's is located in the Amador Center with a shared parking lot. I had been to their OG location in Castro Valley a few times in the past - that location is closer to me, but they did not offer the soufflé pancakes there, so l had to make my way over here to try them out. Like their CV location - very limited service, as you order at the counter, sit down, and when your food is ready - they bring it out to you, but everything else you have to gift yourself at the counter. Anyway, I came here for Sunday brunch with a couple of my friends. They ordered the California Benedict; I Just Want Eggs; Lilikoi Supreme Croissant; Chai Tea Latte; and Lavender White Mocha, while I ordered their Le Soufflé Pancakes and Lilikoi Supreme Croissant. The wait for the soufflé pancakes is about 30 minutes, but I really wanted it, so I decided to order it. I was able to enjoy my croissant, while waiting for my pancakes. My friends were done with their food by the time I got my pancakes, so I appreciated that they patiently waited for me. The croissant was good, it had a fruity tropical passionfruit custard filling with fresh strawberries as well. The soufflé pancakes were decent, but I felt after waiting half an hour for them, I did not really care for them anymore and it was not really worth the price. They tasted a bit too buttery and melty compared to other fluffy pancakes I had tried at other spots before, but it was not too bad - also, the mixed fruit that came with it was a bit on the sour side. Overall, I liked that they had a lot of popular food trends here - I did not enjoy their soufflé pancakes, as much as I thought I would, but I enjoyed their supreme croissant more than I thought I would.

Yelp
Denicas is always a solid choice for brunch. The booths were a little tight and I did not love that there was only one restroom stall. However the one stall did have a changing table which I really appreciated. The food came out quick and I opted for the kahlua pork hash and the Niko's breakfast. The pork hash was delicious and had plenty of pork and potatoes. The toast was good too. I really like the Jamaica drink and the chips and salsa bar. I just wish they would refill the salsa cups more often, it was hard to find someone who could put more cups in.

Yelp
A great family-run, breakfast and lunch place with a bakery as well. We enjoyed all the very interesting and unique items that we had including the pancakes, scramble with mushrooms, spinach, and goat cheese, as well as the excellent French toast . You order at the counter and they give you your number and bring it out. Both the food presentation as well as the food taste quality were excellent. Enjoyed my meal as well as tasting those of my dining companions.

Yelp
Came here at 10am on a Sunday and there was plenty of space to sit. This place you have to order first, then find a seat so come prepared with what you want to eat. We ordered the ube pancakes (a must!), the chorizo breakfast burrito, the chilaquiles w green sauce and a cookie butter latte. The ube pancakes were so delicious and actually tasted like Ube/hints of coconut. The chorizo burrito is the perfect savory treat with the salty chorizo, eggs, cheese and potatoes. The chilaquiles was alright, I wish it was more saucy but I would skip out on this next time. The cookie butter latte was good but also just a one time thing. Didn't taste much like cookie butter. They had free samples while you wait in line (ube crinkle and chocolate chip cookies). It was such a cute place overall! And super quick service which I loved.

Kaye S.

Yelp
awesome place for brunch; customer service was impeccable despite the busy times and the ambiance reminds me of hawaii and a mom and pop hole in the wall place. Definitely will come back here again and try the other delicious food!

Lynn W.

Yelp
Service was great 5/5. Restaurant is cozy and comfy for family and friends gathering. 5/5. Price was on the high side. 4/5. Bottom left: chocolate filled croissant (yummy; 4/5) Top left: cheese egg Benedict with English muffins and side of potatoes. (4/5) Top right: strawberry crepes (4/5) Bottom right: sausage roll (3/5: dry dough)

Yelp
I visited this location late morning on a weekday and it was packed. It was a minor holiday so I imagine it being the same or even more busy on a weekend. I specifically visited to pick up a cookie or two and ended up leaving with a whole box of goodies. They offer online and phone ordering, which I would highly recommend if you are planning to take it to go. If you are just picking up baked goods like I did, there is a separate line for the pastry case. The staff is quite swamped and moves quickly, so that is the line to get into if you didn't order ahead and need some service. I ended up getting the lemon bar, oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, ube crinkle cookie, and cinnamon roll. All items were quite large. The classic cookies were not as thick as I had remembered, but the oatmeal chocolate cookie was perfectly chewy with slightly crispy edges. The lemon bar was not sour and the crust to filling ratio was appropriate. The ube crinkle cookie was surprisingly soft. The cinnamon roll was massive. It is quite bread-y, but still soft and not dense. Everything was very sweet as expected, and as these items classically should be. Overall, the bakery at Denica's gives nostalgic homey Thanksgiving dessert vibes, would definitely visit again for baked goods and brunch!

Shelby G.

Yelp
Quick service, great selection of baked goods, efficient and friendly staff. Love the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies!

Yelp
Came here for brunch with a friend and enjoyed the food! - California Benedict: decided to go the vegetarian route on this, and was happy with my decision. You have a choice of potatoes or fruit on the side. I ordered the fruit and then got an additional side of linguisa. - There's a special going on with many different flavored lemonades if you'd like. They also have fun latte flavors like ube. Miscellaneous: - One bathroom in the back of the restaurant - Parking via a shared parking lot that also expands back behind the restaurant a bit - Water is available at two different water stations - We noticed that the wait for a to-go order was quite long - definitely recommend calling early if you're doing a to-go order - There's a play area in the back of the restaurant for kids

Shilo B.

Yelp
Came here on a complete whim on the suggestion of one of my friends... So glad we ended up here. The food portions are huge so the price makes sense once you pay. If you're coming with more than one other person, I suggest you have that person look at the menu and then find a seat. You line up and order your food, they give you a number and you sit down and wait. So this restaurant is huge it seems to always be packed so definitely come in with a strategy. There is some seating available outside, so don't fret too much. The crêpes are very sweet, and so is the candy cane hot chocolate. The Kalua pork hash is a huge serving; I ended up taking it home. The Loco Moco is so good definitely reminiscent of being back on the islands.

Yelp
No frills brunch, don't expect anything fancy. Not sure how long this place has been around but it feels like long enough where the locals and neighborhood must know each other well and things haven't quite changed for a while. Looks small from the outside but there's two sides with ample seating, plus more outdoors. The counter has a clear display of pastries of the day. Pretty sure they only make one batch as I've asked around Saturday noon whether there'll be anymore and the response was no. The spiral croissant rolls were all sold out, with mostly cookies and some giant cinnarolls and brownie type bars left. Pastries were $4.95 each. You grab the menu from the cashier and there's also weekend only specials so look out for that. Get online as there's no real table service here. Silverware wrapped in napkins and self serve water pitchers by the cashier counter as well. Food came out relatively quick. I'd say pretty average, nothing to write home about. No wait in this location either, maybe for a parking spot though as it shares the lot with other small businesses in the same plaza.

Yelp
A friend picked this place to celebrate her birthday. Love this location compared to the Livermore location. A plethora of open seating on a Sunday morning and very efficient when it came to ordering food and getting the food. Ube pancakes are amazing 5/5*, fried chicken plant was ok, chicken was not as crispy and fresh as I can be and fried rice was on the mushy side; that aside, the flavors were great 4/5*

Venus N.

Yelp
The food in general is alright. The guava pancakes sauce is quite sweet for my taste, and the ube latte is also overly sweet without the Ube flavor. As for the Kalua pork, it's just average and a bit expensive.

Hannah M.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch with my husband. You order at the counter and then get a number and take a seat. They also have a self service chip and salsa station which is a nice touch. My husband said his breakfast burrito was very good. My French toast was also yummy. The caramel was delicious but also a little much at the same time. I think my sweet tooth is not quite that advanced lol. The whip cream and mascarpone in the middle was yummy. Prices were a little high but I'm not too upset about it considering the quality of the food. I'd like to go back again and try something different.

Noel K.

Yelp
We decided to dine at this place that my husband picked out. I am a big fan of Hawaiian cuisine and this place offers a lot of it. You will need to place your order at the register before being seated. They will assign you a table number afterward. As for my order, I got the Kalua pig loco moco and Kalua pig hash, along with an Ube crinkle cookie and a dark chocolate peanut butter cookie. Personally, I preferred the Kalua pig hash over the loco moco due to the gravy being too heavy for my liking. The Kalua pork was already salty, and the additional gravy made it overwhelming. Overall, both dishes were quite filling. The Ube crinkle and dark chocolate peanut butter cookie did not meet my expectations. Both were a bit dry. I expected the cookies to be softer. Would I come here again? Yes, the food was quite good and the portion size was huge. Very filling.

Yelp
I like this place ... fast . And convenient - parking is special . Otherwise it's good to be here. It's split in 3 Areas. It's kinda nice . There's a a lot of commotion o. One side, the back is peaceful and there is outdoor seating which is nice too. The food is good and the service it's fast. The bakery items are really delicious and I get some for take home. It's worth the effort .

Yelp
I've always loved Denica's so much, but the Dublin location was always crazy busy so I never went that often, but this location is amazing. It's huge and there's so much space and it's so cute inside. Food comes out fast still and all the staff is so nice! I got the mochiko chicken and waffles because I couldn't decide between a sweet or savory breakfast, and these were perfect! Serving sizes here are always huge and so worth the price because this could've easily fed me and my sister. I also had a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and it was so good! So excited to have this new location, I'll definitely be back!!

Valerie T.

Yelp
If you like Filipino-inspired food, like brunch, and super hungry - check out Denica's. Denica's has several locations in the East Bay, like Castro Valley, Dublin, Livermore, and Pleasanton. For all of Denica's locations, you have to wait in line to place your order first. You'll get a numbered stand after paying, at which point you can go find a table. Their staff will bring your order to you when it's ready. Be prepared for a long wait - it's a very popular restaurant. I think I've waited at least 20-30 min at each of their locations during prime brunch time. I've tried the ube pancakes several times, as well as their mochiko fried chicken waffle once. This place gives HUGE portions so make sure you're coming hungry. I could barely finish my food every time I came. The ube pancakes come with ube syrup, which is good because otherwise it'd be very dry.

Gene D.

Yelp
It had been a minute since we were last in the area. Now that we were, it was about time we got the chance to try their famous Ube Pancakes. Verdict? Delicious! However, I recommend sharing an order. One can reach Ube overload if you have this as your sole entree/item. And that occurred even with having a side of Linguisa! The wifey was going to order the Guava Pancakes but spied the Garlic Shrimp special. That was a good call because her dish was delicious as well! While in line to place our order, we got a chance to check out their pastry display. And low and behold, they had 6 different Spiral Croissants! What did we get? Ube and Guava.

Yelp
Cozy here for breakfast with extended family visiting from out of town for a family wedding. The parking area is shared by several businesses so parking on the weekend may be busy. We were lucky to get a space and get there before the big Saturday breakfast crowd, as no reservations can be made. So we got here at 10 am and was able to secure a table for 12 (including an 11 month old who needed a high chair). So I didn't bring a piece of paper so I had everyone write down on Yelp swag notepad paper, what they wanted to eat and drink, so about 11 pieces of paper went with hubby to the cashier to order our 11 entrees and drinks. Portions are hearty and I ordered the Kalua Pig Hash and the portion was hearty and tasty and I had to get a take-out container to bring the rest home.

Lyn S.

Yelp
My favorite breakfast and dessert stuff. Met a friend here yesterday and as usual food was great. We ordered omelet and eggs Benedict both 5/5. I also ordered cookies to go they are the best cookies in town. The stuffed croissant was ok to me. We thought the croissant wasn't flaky. The stuffing was good. I probably won't order this again. All other item in their menu that I have tried before is always good. Service was great They have enough tables inside and outside the cafe. We will be back for sure.

Annie N.

Yelp
bomba ss food and proportions. super filling, amzingly delicious pastries/desserts and friendly service. the BEST ube pancakes or just pancakes ive ever had

Yelp
Update - Met some friends for breakfast on a Friday morning. Before 8:00 AM and there was plenty of parking and tables. Surprisingly the crowd didn't come in until after 9:00. I wanted to try some of the new menu items including the Soufflé Pancakes. Starters -4.5 stars - so many attractive bakery items that it's difficult to choose. I went hawaiian and got the Ube Macaroons that were soft and chewy and the Guava Pastelitos which were crunchy and buttery with just a small dab of guava filling. Soufflé Pancakes - 5 Stars - Made on a small griddle inside a square steamer box. I watched as they they poured and carefully flipped each one. Though each of the 3 soufflés looked like biscuits, they were so fluffy and light that the dusting of powdered sugar and side of butter and whipped cream and fruit were sufficient. But a dab of syrup works perfectly for those who want more sweetness. Big Kahuna Sammich - 4.5 stars - Moist tender kalua style pulled pork on a brioche role with a slice of Jack. I liked that it wasn't overly salted as some often are. Along with the crisp roasted potatoes this made for two meals. Veggie Omelet - 4 stars - We added spinach to the mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, chiles and cheese for an extra charge. A very good omelet and also served with potatoes and toast. With all the specials and, variety of creative breakfasts, and superb bakery items, Denicas is the preferred breakfast spot in the tri alley area

Yelp
8/05/23 11:30am In town for a few days and my boyfriend brought me to this little gem of a restaurant. Chorizo burrito: 10/10 so much flavor, definitely a must try. French Toast: 10/10 soft and buttery. Cappuccino: 10/10 not a lot of sugar which is my personal preference. Staff is nice, service is fast considering how busy they are. It's very mom and pop like inside (which we like). Tables are all clean but the floor could've used a bit of cleaning up. They have a huge pastry selection which looked super yummy.

Jasmine L.

Yelp
Such a comfortable place. Lots of seating, inside and some outside. Their system is different for me but works very well! The food is great and very home-like. Also get complimentary chips and salsa to go along with your order when ordering togo or sitting inside.

Linda B.

Yelp
Glad Denica's (Dublin location) was open on President's Day holiday. I've been searching for an all around good breakfast spot and this place is it. I ordered the Rome via Paris eggs dish and a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. The dish included pesto, spinach, mushrooms, feta cheese, choice of bread (sliced sourdough or English muffin) and choice of side (fruit or potatoes). It was so fresh with tons of flavor and deliciousness. I chose the English muffin and it was memorable that I bought 3 to freeze for future breakfast sandwiches for my daughter. Apparently, the English muffins are made in-house. I was planning to pick up English muffins at Model Bakery in Napa (per my research, a favorite of Oprah & Ina Garten) but Denica's is satisfyingly good it saved me a trip. The mixed fresh fruit was so fresh and perfectly sweet. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was good as well. The meal's portion size was generous and priced fairly. Glancing at my friends and other customer orders the portions are similar to family sharing style meals. The menu is Hawaiian, Filipino and American inspired and they offer an assortment of bakery items (near cash register). I'm so impressed with this establishment's willingness to give back to their customers by offering complimentary chips and salsa and chilled hibiscus tea. These complimentary offerings are rare that Denica's is an unforgettable experience for it. The service was friendly. Dining at the restaurant is a self order method (line flows quickly) and food is delivered to assigned number (food was promptly served). There's also a separate line for advance take-out orders. This location is in a large strip mall with ample parking. There's 1 disabled parking spot in front of the 1 of 2 restaurant's entryway. Also, there's only 1 restroom. There are 2 dining areas with ample tables and tables outside. Beyond grateful to Denica's for serving the community. Blessings and prosperity to the owners and staff at Denica's.

Melody M.

Yelp
Remarkably overpriced and underrated. I've been here three times and each time I'm left underwhelmed. Most recently I ordered a breakfast bacon burrito for pick-up. Barely any bacon, with giant chunks of barely cooked potatoes. For about $15. Save your money, and Dublin- I hope some more bang-for-your-buck brunch places open up soon.

Neeta D.

Yelp
The best pancakes I have had lately!! Ube pancakes!! I loved the pancakes, the sauce, the color..everything! And the eggs Benedict, just yum!! Strawberry bliss crepes were good, but not outstanding compared to what I have eaten before. I haven't been a tea fan but I relished the hibiscus tea which had the right amount of sweetness. Very very happy with the visit, except for the long line at the order. But was totally worth it!

Sandy L.

Yelp
I saw a photo of guava and ube pancakes on the bartable Instagram account. Sounded delicious so we went to the Dublin location for breakfast. The setup of the restaurant can be quite confusing for newcomers. So the left side seems to be for take-out only. You'll see a sign for "to go order pick up", but there's also a cash register there. You'll be asked to go to the other side of the restaurant (by the bakery display case) to order for dine-in. You order and pay at the register and sit down with a numbered stand. A server will bring the food to you. The drinks however will be prepared and sitting on a small strip of counter between the dine-in and to-go registers. The ambiance is casual. This place seems very popular. But the food did coke out fairly quickly. Between parking and leaving we were there less than an hour (with 15 min of that probably wasted on waiting in line). I got the ube coconut macaroon and the ube pancakes. I enjoyed both of them very much! The portions were huge. I couldn't finish my pancakes. The pancakes were about $20. My companions got savory breakfast items, but they were not as satisfied unfortunately. They got the huevos rancheros and the Benedict. They both really liked the items I ordered though. Sweets seem to be what they do best (the bakery display case was half empty by 10:30am on Sunday). Go for the sweets and skip the savory breakfast items. If I'm in the area I'd love to try the guava pancakes next!

Faoud K.

Yelp
Denica's has always been a local favorite of the family. They serve amazing desserts and pastries, to die for breakfasts, and lunch. The menu is always being updated to include more Hawaiian inspired dishes. I love that, I can get a nice Hawaiian breakfast without having to travel to Hawaii. Denica's daughter also sells Malasadas on a pre-order basis which are also delicious. They have 3 locations so you can choose, even though Livermore is closer to me I had to get the Souffle pancakes they advertised so we drove to Dublin to get them as they are exclusive to this location. I like their layout too, you get in line to place your order while drooling over their pastry display case, and get to try some samples that they have out. You get a number and grab a table which we had no problem doing. I went up to the Chips and Salsa Bar to grab some chips and salsa as well as get some water which is right next to it. The food came out faster than I expected and it was so good to have for Sunday Brunch. The King Kamehameha Loco Moco although modified took me back to Hawaii and my wife enjoyed the Souffle Pancakes. You can't go wrong here.

Lea M.

Yelp
I came in for brunch at the recommendation of the service advisor at Lexus and I'm glad I did! I enjoyed the Denica's scramble but boy did I have a hard time Deciding because everything on the menu looked fabulous! The selection of pastries at bakery counter by the register was so tempting but I decided to save that for next time! The process to order was a little confusing as a first time visitor but I just followed the crowd and figured it out. My only complaint if I could even call it that would be the ventilation, it was a little stuffy and the food aroma lingered throughout but most certainly didn't make my breakfast any less enjoyable.

Lily M.

Yelp
So first off this place is so so popular! Every time I've come here there has been a huge line. For good reason, the flavor is and the unique variety of this restaurant is a huge drop of people. I love ube flavors and the ube pancakes here are excellent! Great flavor, not too sweet, and honestly just looks beautiful. They also have other ube flavored pastries that I'm dying to try! They also have a variety of Hawaiian dishes that also look very tasty. The only downside is that they are pretty pricey and it is really loud inside the restaurant because it's so busy all the time.

Laura P.

Yelp
First time at Denica's and it did not disappoint! Delicious food and a fun Hawaiian/Asian spin on some classic dishes. You order at the register and then find a table. Arrived on a Saturday morning around 10am and it was busy, but our group of 5 was able to get a table right away. They also have some outdoor seating but it's uncovered so not ideal if it's raining. The staff was friendly and also attentive to quickly cleaning tables as soon as people were done.

Jessica H.

Yelp
If you're going go early, because it gets crowded fast. Line out the door crowded. You order at the counter, and seat yourself. They give you big portions which fits the prices. Really enjoyed the chips + salsa, and both of our breakfast plates. Definitely better to sit outside, to enjoy your food and avoid the chaos. Def recommend!

Chastity V.

Yelp
Great food. Came here to try the Ube Pancakes and they did not disappoint. Can get busy, so expect a line! I got: Loco Moco with pork 5/5 Ube Pancakes 5/5 Ube latte with oat milk 5/5 Seating is first come first serve. You order your food at the counter and find your own seat. Parking can be sparse during busy times. Dining with a group for brunch might be hard since it's so busy, I probably wouldn't go with more than 4 people (but it's not impossible).

Connie M.

Yelp
Cute local brunch spot that has been around for a long long time. Tried their chorizo burrito today it's very filling and a good size for the price tag. It can feel a little chaotic ordering inside because they don't take your order at the table you order at the register first then sit yourself. If you want salsa the bar is inside on the left which was a little confusing I wish there were signs. The chorizo wasn't like scrambled in tiny pieces like most places there were chunks of the sausage in the burrito with eggs and potatoes. Very filling and very naughty. Their cookies are $2.95 each if you buy three that's practically $10 which feels a little pricey no? Def a splurge

Duane N.

Yelp
A summary of this place is that the ambience and ordering process needs to be revisited. You're rushed to order because of the long lines. The food tastes good but is way over priced. There is better for your budget elsewhere.

Wade F.

Yelp
Little pricey but worth it in quantity and quality. Get what you pay for. Taste just as good if not better than the same dish on the islands

Pearl F.

Yelp
My first time to eat here after having lived in the area for so long . What was I thinking . Ube pancake is a must-sooo good. Omelette are nicely cooked and the free chips and salsa is a nice bonus. Will definitely go back!!

Neil S.

Yelp
Not sure where to start. Ordered Nicos breakfast which is 2 eggs, 2 straps of bacon, 2 sausage links, home fries, and english muffin 45 minutes later, my food came. Ice cold, wrong eggs, burned to a crisp bacon, tasteless deep fried potatoes and the worst english muffin i ever tasted. Sent dish back and waited another 20 minutes. Same story. Not quite sure how you make food this bad. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Wasted $20.00

Queen J.

Yelp
This place gets better with every visit. They always have something new on the menu or in the bakery. It's hard not to order everything cause it just sounds & looks all so delicious! We love how quick it is to order and get our food! The service here is superb! Restaurant is always packed but there's always a table! We ordered this time: 1. Kahlua pork hash. 10/10 2. Guava pancakes 100/10. This was amazing! 3. Denica's scramble 10/10 And we took home a banana cream rolled croissant, and that was delicious! We are coming back again for sure to try everything else !

Yelp
The hype is real! Breakfast, brunch, early lunch...whichever it is, make your way here! They serve mainly brunch items but have baked goods as well. Pastries nearly sold out by 11 am on a Wednesday! So if you're hankering for some baked goodies, better come early! Their drinks are great splurges. I ordered a cookie butter latte - very delicious and hot. Regarding their specials, ube pancake and guava pancakes are must try's. The ube pancakes were hot, fluffy, packed with flavor and presented so beautifully with sliced banana, whip cream, and a medley of blackberry and blueberry on the side. The guava pancake was more tart, hot, and just as fluffy served with a bedding of kiwi and strawberry topped with whip cream. As for their savory dishes, you probably can't go wrong. We ordered the kalua pork hash and the portion was very generous. Succulent meat meets potatoes and topped with fresh green onions. Shareable and packable for later. It is just as good as leftovers. Easy parking, great service, and clean facilities. With some memorable flavors and unique bites, this place is worth a visit, albeit an early one. Even if you're not an early bird, this "worm" is worth waking up for.

Yelp
My usual is the vegan tostadas with real chorizo (allergic to dairy and eggs), a black coffee, and a gluten-free pumpkin spice muffin to go. The portions are huge, which is why I won't list the price as a detractor. You get what you pay for, and the quality is perfection.

Yelp
Denica's Real Food Kitchen is one of my favorite brunch restaurants in the Bay Area. Today, I decided to partake from the special menu, and chose the 100 Chile Benny. I'm very happy with my choice! The eggs were cooked perfectly and were laid on a bed of chorizo, sausage and linguica. There was so much flavor oozing out of this dish that I wish that it were a regular menu item. Other than my special order today, I usually get any of their delicious benedicts. Also, the kids love their purple Ube pancakes that are thick, fluffy and tasty, but on this day they had guava pancakes and we're over the moon. I really love Denica's! But I wish they served liquor like at the Castro Valley location. This parking lot seems just as busy as the Castro Valley one, too. I think the Livermore has the best location for parking, but again it would be nice to have a mimosa with brunch maybe one day!

Yelp
4+ there was a time that I would hit up this place at least once every time I visited my parents in the San Ramon area. This place has fun looking breakfast items, delicious, breakfast burritos, and lots of great baked goods. My go to was the regular ham and cheese breakfast burrito and added spinach to it. On my last visit, I got the green or vegetarian burrito. Part of the reason why I like getting the breakfast burritos here, is because I can get that orangey red salsa. Seriously that salsa is so freaking good and has a nice kick to it. A bonus is when I dine in with my breakfast burrito and I am able to get chips with that salsa. On another previous visit, I've ordered the waffles or some other very fun looking breakfast. I think recently they kind of pivoted to more of an island influenced menu and atmosphere. As evidenced by local moco and other Hawaiian influenced creations on the menu and Hawaiian music playing while I was there. I honestly can't remember if it was like that before or if it's something I just noticed. The service here is typically friendly, and I'm not sure if they do anymore but they always had cookie samples so you can try their big kids while waiting in line. Last time I went was a little late, so I think they might've ran out. Still one of the places that's on the top of my rotation when I visit family in my old hometown. Always a solid choice to go to when meeting up with friends as well.
