Denny's

Mrs Sarah was our waitress. She gave a beautiful customer experience. She was attentive and she was friendly and kind. I highly recommend this Dennys good on point. We were here on a Saturday morning. Warm atmosphere.

Service was good. Cheesecake was almost tasteless. The other thing we had was basically a big pile of sugar and had little flavor.

Me and my husband decided to stop by Dennys to grab some food to eat as we were traveling back home, I must say I was very impressed with the restaurant. The store was nice and clean, the food was hot and amazing. We had to personally thank the cook on duty, our server informed us that the cook was actually the manger. Mr. Christopher made sure that our food was served to perfection. I would recommend customers to eat when he’s on duty. He was very nice, professional and polite. We had the Bourbon chicken and a french toast slam. We were sure to leave him a tip.

I had a to go order that was missing the French toast. The lady helping us at the register was the sweetest but the lady Jacqueline in the kitchen was not. Our server repeatedly asked her to make the French toast to go and Jacqueline was back there on her phone. Which is definitely unsanitary. She was holding her phone up to her ear while also touching and making people’s food. Then as our server is asking her to make the food she giving her a look like she has an attitude about it. Our server asked a male, who I assume is the manager cause he had on a different shirt than everyone else, to go back there and get it and he went back there laughing like the situation was funny. Yes the French toast was hot but now the rest of our other food was cold. On top of that she slammed the food up there like she had a problem. It should not have been that big of an issue behind french toast and they weren’t busy so i don’t understand the issue. We should not have had to wait that long. That was not good customer service. But to the lady that helped us I thank you, cause you were definitely trying your best.

Went for a late night breakfast and it was outstanding. Our food was delicious, seemed like it came out in less than 10 minutes, they were busy being that it was late night early morning. The manager, cook and server all did a wonderful job nice and friendly and apparent they know what true customer service and satisfaction is all about. We will definitely be back. You all killed it, thank you!!

The food was flavorless. Absolutely disgusting. And the hash browns literally tasted like rat urine. I'd get this building inspected for rats and make sure the kitchen is passing quality checks because something is very off about the entire restaurant holes in the ceiling in the dining area. The hostess/waitress was amazing though. She could do so much better than this establishment. Complete waste of money, not a single member of my family of 5 could finish their food because it was overall disgusting. Spend your money elsewhere. It's not cheap either.

Just a grease spoon. Nasty nasty environment with greasy floors and gross tables. We probably had to wait 40 minutes for our food to come out but it was busy. This got me looking around at how disgusting it was in there with food splatter on the doors, dirty grimy forks, and just general layers of unknown. I’m glad I didn’t look at the inside of the coffee pot or the ice machine. Now service on the other hand was pretty good. She was trying her best and literally told the table next to us she wanted to quit right that instant. I understand but dang it’s the company that needs to clean this place up! The employees were trying their best.

Went to this Denny's because the cafe in a nearby casino was packed. Overall, happy with the experience. Food was good. Seemed like this was an older Denny's? Plenty of parking and open tables. Restaurant had more of an atmosphere of one in a small town going by how the staff interacted with each other. Men's bathroom needed some cleaning...huge mess in the toilet stall...floor covered in trash. Was only visiting this area and probably will never return? That said, don't think I would return as we felt like misfits in this restaurant.

Great experience all together! The service was good and our waitress Tasha was so kind and joyful, this was a way better experience then Ihop!

Horrendous - long wait to be seated, grossly understaffed, dirty looking, chicken fried steak ordered with gravy on side came with gravy drowning it so I sent it back & they simply had scraped the gravy and crust off & brought it back cold and tough. This place won't be here much longer !!!!

The workers are always very very nice. The food is ok but not my favorite place to eat. I do like the cheeseburgers and for breakfast I love the pancakes.

Ms. Sarah H was a excellent server at this dennys she was very sweet and she was very noticeable of us. We need more of this at every restaurant bless her family and soul because she has a beautiful spirit.

We're from out of town and ate here. The food really wasn't that great, my wife's biscuits with the brisket and gravy were hard as a rock, the eggs were cold and the bacon was very rubbery like they been sitting a while. When we came in I noticed eggs on one of the booth seats and table in plain sight and when we left they were still there no even thought about cleaning it and also the floor and under tables were dirty. This Dennys was the exact opposite of the Denny's we ate at yesterday in Texas.

Eat here often-hard to find late night eating places. Staff is always pleasant & helpful--even when we've been there when they're crazy busy. Burgers can't be beat. Husband says tonight's burger was best burger he's had in along while. Juicy & cooked perfectly.

The waitress was excellent. She was available, patience and very polite. The food was not hot in any way. She did microwave my pancakes. They were great then. The scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese were cooked hard and of course not hot. My bacon was cooked crisp to order. The coffee was drinkable thus not hot but slightly warm. Not impressed by the food.

The service took 30 min to even get the order for our drinks. There were also black specks in my fellow customer's drink. The ambiance was just the worst there was a constant loud sound in my ear and it felt cramped.the chicken was also burnt ‍‍‍

Food is good. Service is the worst I've ever seen. 20 people waiting to be seated, plenty of tables available and they're not seating anyone. Claims they are short staffed, who isn't these days. Even the bar has five empty chairs and was told we couldn't sit there without waiting for our name to be called.

I ordered chicken strips and biscuits through doordash. The chicken strips were burnt and too hard to even chew. The biscuit looked like it was smashed on the grill and it had some mystery brown grease congealed on it. I paid extra for ranch for the chicken strips and they sent extra bbq sauce instead. It doesn't matter because the chicken was inedible anyway. Absolutely disgusting.

Decided to grab some breakfast with my mother. We chose Denny's because it was on the way home and we've been before. We were seated right away. And when I asked our waitress for a booth, her response was playful and friendly, just the way I prefer the wait staff to be. Her name is Lindsey R, and she was polite and playful, but still professional, the entire time. I told the manager on the way out they needed to keep her. The breakfast, was exactly what we ordered to a T. I thought the Diet Coke tasted weird and Lindsey changed it immediately, without any sign of annoyance. She waited at the table to make sure I was happy with the tea. She checked back a few times and said goodbye when we left. She was the perfect waitress. The food was good. I ordered chicken fried steak breakfast and my mom had pancakes. Both of us had leftovers because the servings were a nice size. We will be back. And I will look for Lindsey when I return. Thanks for the great service!

On Fri Sept 1 we noticed the it was lots tables open and a long line of people waiting to be settled. Some of them did walk out. Today Sep 2 we went back and the same conditions were present we tried to go straight to the bar setting with out putting our name in the waiting list as we did the day before and all ways been doing this for many years we have been told that if you want to set at the bar you do not have to wait. We wore told that we could not do it. I said that I wanted to talk to the G.M. I waited for about 5 to 10 minutes, the G.M. did not come. We decided to follow some of the other people that were walking out. Hopefully this information helps you.

I'm really not pleased, however it was closing time so I considerate that reason enough to just leave a review and go about my business. Husband and I was fed a quick bite to eat, so we ordered/paid online & went to pickup. When we arrived in the parking lot, there was a guy standing by the dumpster who really threw us off. When we walked in there was no one for about 2-3 minutes and then she finally came out and handed my food. The guy from outside entered asking if they were closed (odd) and walked back out, we hurried out and left. As we got home, this what my meal looked like. A cold mess that I'm 100% disappointed in. Needless to say, it was crashed after eating just one fry barely. I would recommend going there during the day only mainly because there are nearby hotels and all kind of people lingering. But, also because my food wasn't prepared to my expectations. Onion rings burnt Mozeralla stick over cooked Fries soggy Buffallo wings were actually exceptionally great But it was only 4 and all the other sides were gross. The 2 stars come from the delicious wing & another star for my husband food (it was OK)..

We went in for breakfast. Our waitress was quite busy! She had a huge party in the back, plus all her tables got seated within minutes of each other. She did a great job! Took everyones order without writing anything down. Everything came out correct and fast. The breakfast was delicious! She was able to keep up with everything! I was very impressed!

Actually, everything is great, the best service, and the best food can't beat a great restaurant that is open 247, and u can order anything at any time, unlike McDonald's.

We went on a Sunday so it was packed, but the hostess was polite & gave accurate wait times. I ordered a Santa Fe Skillet and it was great!

I ordered burgers from Uber from Burger Den. It turned out to be Denny's and I was very surprised at how much I loved it. I got the Beyond Burger and my daughter got the burger with eggs, bacon, and hash browns on it. I'm so excited to see a meatless alternative on their menu!

This is a nice cheap breakfast or brunch place to go to especially with your family. The service is always great every time I've been here with my family.The servers (especially Ashley or Mary) are very attentive and friendly!

Dennys on old Minden Rd in Bossier City, is the cleanest , well managed restaurant I've visited in a very long time. The staff obviously, love their jobs, and have been trained properly. Very kind and pleasing to be around. The manager is multi tasking cleaning tables, saying hello to customers, making sure the meals are done to our satisfaction. I wish other restaurants could come see how well this restaurant is managed and maintained. We will be back often. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience!

What can you say about Denny's except that the service is just okay, atmosphere is not great, but the food is still really pretty good. Breakfast here included eggs done perfectly, hash browns, and pancakes. Enough food to share with hubby and coffee was also quite nice. Not fancy, but good deal for good food and I didn't have to cook!

Dennys is an American institution and they have some of the best pancakes! I-hop away from there and come here every time I want some breakfast. Food is hot and quick and super pleasant environment.

Had a pretty banging omelet that was stuffed with veggies, my smoothie was just weird tasting. The service was ok, but seemed a little tense. Overall, it wasn't bad.

This listing and their web site shows national "All Day Diner Deals" menu--but don't believe it-- the manager claimed they were good for online only and not for eating in the restaurant--what a scam and rip-off--we walked out before ordering.

I gave this place 2 stars only because in the mornings it is great!! But afternoons don't stop. You will get better service at a homeless shelter. Oh wait ... you don't get waited on in a homeless shelter .... well we didn't either. My first clue was Friday night at 5 pm and there was only 1 car in the parking lot and 1 table inside. We got sat by a waitress that was laughing so hard she forgot to say hello or take a drink order or maybe tell our waitress that we were in her section. I don't know. I got up to get some help but they were too busy playing and laughing behind the counter to even hear me call out to them. And they didn't even notice or care to say anything when we walked right past them to leave. Now the girl that sat us .... she was outside smoking and she was still laughing as she made eye contact with us playing on her phone.

Mary at Denny's did an awesome job serving our crazy group of 17 including assorted little kiddos. She was very patient, kept the drinks coming, and made sure all our little people got the fruit and pancakes they wanted. Any order mixups made were in our favor, and she had a great attitude throughout. Nice job Mary!

Several friends and I went into restaurant about 6 pm Sunday evening. There were two tables finishing there meals and us. One waitress said someone would be right with us. Seven minutes went by, another couple came in and were immediately served by another waitress. At 10 minutes, I approached the first waitress and politely informed her that we were ready to order. Never looking up, she said okay; however, never came to table. After 3-4 more minutes, we left. As she saw us get up, she went into the restroom. I did go back into the restaurant and spoke with her telling her why we left. All she kept saying was "okay"...nothing else! Extremely poor customer service. No more Grand Slams for me, I guess! Judging from the lack of customers, I would have thought they could use the business! Went across the street to Posados where we were met with immediate and excellent service!!!!!

This was probably one of the better locations I have ever been. Staff was friendly and prompt. Food arrived hot and fresh, prepared excellently and probably the closest to perfection hash browns I have ever seen. Ordered the Grand Slamwich with hash browns, quite tasty. Location is also pretty dern clean considering. Not from the area, but very impressed.

This place has great pancakes and burgers ever one small little nit pick I have is that the burgers Are giant and I had to smash the burgers to eat them

Quite possibly one of the worst Denny's experiences ever. Toast that's not toasted, hash browns that weren't browned, limp bacon (despite me asking for crispy) and cups that don't get refilled. It gets one star because the pancakes were good.

bad place Dennys is good but not the customer service or management, very small place it is always crowded always a line to sit, and the line to sit is always mixed up they get people who just walk in & in groups and sit them down while you've been waiting an hour just to sit will not be coming back here ever again !!!

It was very busy, and packed, I thought the wait would've been a 30 min wait but it only was about less than 10min. The waitress was awesome and the food was delicious.

This place is addictive for me. Best deal in town is the every day slam for $4. 2 eggs (fresh in shell if you ask for it. Otherwise powered. Cannot tell the difference.), and choice of sausage or bacon, and two pancakes. Just perfect for me. The burgers, and the hot skillet dishes look really good, but I have not tried. For some reason I don't understand, they have a sign saying "wait to be seated ". I never do, and I like to sit at the counter because the servers are right there and I see all of the dishes that the kitchen puts on the shelf for the servers to get. Facility is nice, and a lot of items on three menus. Noise is a bit much when they scream out "good morning, welcome to Dennys " everytime someone comes in. Could do without that! Parking is close to the door and easy. Service has always been good.

Only ordered online but way better than I-hop. Everything is hot and awesome. Cooks are great the way the cook the best pancakes and omelettes

One of the waitresses was really rude to us because we were Hispanics. She would give us the plate almost pushing them. I don't appreciate it. Her name is Leslie

Came in for Veteran's Day with my husband, bit of a wait because of how busy but overall food and service were good for a reasonable price. Plates are big so be ready to eat.

Not The Denny's I Remember! My wife and I were seated promptly by the hostess. Atmosphere: pleasant, recent rock & roll and pop music Temperature: great (70-72°) Server: Tiffany, who is well dressed, well groomed, well mannered, very knowledgeable and attentive. Our coffee and tea were served hot and creamer was provided. Our orders were taken. Meal #1: Omelet w/hash browns. This meal was hot and picture perfect. Portion sizes were perfect. Meal #2: Lumberjack Slam w/scrambled eggs. Meal was sent back because eggs weren't scrambled but fried. When meal was returned, it was hot. Ham, sausage hash brown portions were very good. The pancakes were hot and fluffy. But the eggs were displayed in a solid clump. The bacon was so thin, that I didn't recognize it as bacon. The only place I've seen thinner bacon was McDonald's. We ccame in and nobody helped us. I had to go ask For a menu. To make things worse we didn't get the waters we ordered. We sat there for 30 min and nobody came to take our order or give us our drinks. Overall this place was horrible. There was literally only like a Few other people when we walked in. I sat there and saw other other people come in after us and a couple of them BFF or helped before we did. Eventually I had to walk out and go to ihop I wouldn't recommend this place

Going on a trip and stopped at Denny's for dinner before we go to bed All the silverware we got was very very dirty Asked for hot coffee got cold Ask for a cup of soup it was cold too ordered chicken finger it was over cooked but the fries were good Our server walks away every time we tried to complain about things It smelled like they haven't cleaned it ever So if anyone ever goes to bossier city la don't go to Denny's it's the worst around

I LOVED the food, LOVED the waitresses. Everything was perfect. But that supervisor/manager or whatever in the red hoodie sitting there griping THE WHOLE TIME. Being rude to EVERYONE, cussing EVERYONE, talking about people, complaining, and obviously hurting her staff's feelings. We had to leave without finishing our food because she wouldn't STOP complaining!! Whoever she was, sat at the bar the whole time, with a red hoodie with the hood tied up, blonde hair. Really wish I knew her name because she doesn't deserve to work here.

Me and my dad went for breakfast and he got the skillet dinner and he got a country fried steak and they put it on top of it when he asked for it to be on the side and and he was eating the rest and used his fork to take it off and then they remade it... and when they brought it out they just re-deep Fried it and considering he touched it with his fork..

Grub burger at 3 AM is very satisfying. Thanks Dennys. I still hate you and you stink like old beef. You beef eaters.

Absolutely horrible service. We got there and needed to use the restroom and it was disgusting. The toilet was clogged with paper towels and it smelled like somebody had Peed all over the walls. Then we go to sit down and nobody even greeted us. Finally after someone sat us, we waited there for 10 minutes for somebody to come take our order just for drinks and nobody even spoke. We walked out!

Had a terrible experience on 2/28/16. Watched the Manager Patricia Kelly belittle an employe to the point of making her cry. When I asked what was going on I was informed that the server had made some mistakes and was going to have to pay $80+ dollars. I told the manager that I would pay for it. I also asked Mrs. Kelly to please treat her employee with respect as for that we are all human and we all make mistakes and there is no reason to belittle the new server. Mrs. Kelly was very rude, when I started to ask for information about the store and her name and such she replied with "I don't know." Obviously, if she won't give out the information she did not respond to the situation correctly. I am in contact with corporate and the owner of the location trying to find out what is being done regarding the situation. PS: The food was great and the service from everyone else was great. It was very sad to see someone in a management position treat an employee so childishly.

Woo hoo! I am a HUGE Denny's fan! So much so that I actually went to the location out on Mansfield Road last year for my birthday breakfast!!! And now they are opening up this new location here in Bossier City on Old Minden Road. This location was once a Shoney's and then most recently a place called Mobe's, but now, happily, it's gonna be a Denny's. Grand Slams all around! And just in time for my birthday, yet again!!! (Cough! End of July! Cough! 42 years old!) But anyway, Denny's...Yaaaaay! Just next door to Moffit Mazda dealership. Can't wait!
