Denny's

Denny's in Carpentersville is a reliable spot for classic diner food. The menu has a huge variety, so there's something for everyone. I've always found the food to be tasty, and the portions are generous. The service is friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. It's not a fancy place, but it's perfect for a casual meal.

This is a update I never been there on a busy day like today where I waited 30 minutes to get my order taken and a hour to get my food. Wich was luke warm when it got to my table and only to receive half my ham missing on my moon over my hammy sandwich. What made me most upset is that 3 families came in 30 minutes after I did and they got their food before me. Smh. I enjoyed my breakfast with my son. Paula was our server. She was so sweet and accommodating. Thank you so much for the Patience Paula. I appreciate you.

I had a terrible experience at this Denny’s. We waited an extremely long time for our food — so long that another customer who came in after us got her meal, finished eating, and was leaving before we had even received ours. She actually stopped to ask why we were still waiting and brought it to the manager’s attention. When our food finally came, it was cold, which was very disappointing after such a long wait. The manager only offered a 10% discount, which honestly felt like an insult considering how bad the experience was. Definitely not the kind of service or quality you’d expect from Denny’s.

We stopped in here to get something to eat, and let me say the service definitely needs improvement. It took over an hour to get our food, and when it finally came, it was cold and burnt. Our waiter never checked on us to see if everything was okay. We eventually had to ask another waiter for our tab because our server was nowhere to be found. Even then, it took another 30 minutes just to get the check. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Update: after trying to call the restaurant for an hour, finally got an answer, with an offer to remake my order. That would've been great, had you answered an hour ago. Got a pickup order. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. Eggs were dry, hash browns were cold and barely cooked, bacon was decent. Pancakes were amazing. How do I get cold food when the restaurant isn't busy and I show up before my order is supposed to be ready? Tried to call to complain, phone just keeps ringing.

Me and my family decided to go to Denny’s one day because it was late and we were hungry. As soon as we entered we were seated right away, and our server I think his name was hedgar was absolutely amazing he was very attentive and kept checking up on us frequently. He was the absolute sweetest and made our Denny’s experience ten times better !

Good place! I went in and ordered the country fried steak and eggs. Our server, Hedgar was exceptionally attentive to our table. He was super nice and checked in consistently to refill our waters. Overall, the service was great!

I'm a regular every Saturday morning and I keep coming back because the experience noteworthy. Elva is an exceptional waitress, always friendly and helpful. I love it here.
