Denny's

Excellent, classic American diner experience! The Grand Slam was perfect, and the coffee kept flowing. Friendly service and a welcoming 24/7 atmosphere make Denny's a reliable choice anytime. Great value for hearty, comforting food. I'll definitely be back for a late-night bite!

We were sitted and waited close to 10 minutes. Waiter just passed eventhough I called and waved that them. IGORNED. I raised my hand for about a minute until supervisor saw me and came. She called the two waiters and spoke to them. One of them came to assist. On the order. 1. Coffee was served in stained dirty mugs. 2. Waiter said .sorry there is no half&half and left. No options. I had to ask him if he had milk or cream. 3. When asking for refill, you could see that the coffee jar hadn't being cleaned in a while. It was so dirty that you could not see it was?stainless steel. It was discussing. 4. When food came, my food was covered in the burn leftover food as if the cooking area is not cleaned. Check the attached picture. 5. Wife asked for cinnamon pancakes, the pancakes were missing the white icing and had very little cinnamon. Waiter said, sorry we ran out of icing. 6. My pancakes can be described as rubber pancakes. 7. The Manger had pants that were stain with paint ink and dirt where you could see that he cleans his hands on his pants.

My wife and I like to come to this Denny's due to its proximity to our home, and it's a good place for us to work on our laptops while getting something to eat for a reasonable price. We like to come to the evening/overnight shift due to 2 things: 1.) The overnight manager, Alyssa, always makes sure we're taken care of, and 2.) It's a quieter atmosphere at night so it's easier for us to work. Alyssa always makes sure that our coffee is full & our food is good. Now that being said, one of the things I would like to see from this particular franchise owner is to take some time to get some restaurant issues fixed. One of the things that is rather obvious (you can even see it in my photos) is that the outdoor lighting, including the signs, go out instead of on at around 9-9:30 pm. It's rather dark when that lighting isn't on so it's a safety concern for customers. They could also stand to hire some evening/overnight wait staff that are more attentive, but that's something that has always plagued this location. All in all, we still enjoy coming here and would recommend to others to do so as well. Y'all enjoy! ;-)

My significant other and I came to Denny’s because we really wanted some breakfast food. Upon arrival we were seated immediately our waiter was attentive. We both ended up getting stuff French toast. I got the berry French toast and he got the banana caramel stuff French toast, both great options. They also have turkey bacon options, which are great. very straightforward breakfast place you can’t go wrong.

Denny’s used to be my absolute favorite spot back in 2020. However, their service and food quality has declined. However, Denny’s is always a good and cheap spot for breakfast 🥞 if you’re traveling, especially since they brought the $2,$4,$6, and $8 menu back. Their breakfast is better than their other food options. The chicken sandwich 🥪 I rate it 5/10.

Ordered French toast. The French toast, sausage and bacon were cold, the eggs were bland, but no shortage of powdered sugar it was caked on the french toast, and there must be a shortage of hot water for hot tea. I received one cup and one tea bag no little tea pot with extea hot water. When I asked for more hot water that's all that was served no tea bag. They don't give butter with French toast. I was informed they don't serve butter unless it's with the three piece slam. Wow that's what I ordered. I was offered butter when I was paying my bill because I scraped off the avalanche of powered sugar and boxed it to go. I did not know butter had to be asked for at breakfast for a meal that is classic for being served with butter. I'm hoping this is just poor decision making at this Dennys.

Sat at 9:30pm. Waited 30 minutes to be told my order could not be prepared. Waited another hour to be given a cold omelette with unmelted cheese. The manager was cooking because the cook did not come in, but the manager did not know how to prepare the menu items properly. I was not told about this until over an hour after I had been sat. I would not have ordered if I knew this. Completely unprofessional.

Probably my worst dining experience ever. I had to request a cup of coffee multiple times because our server kept forgetting to bring it to me, my food was cold - and our server forgot to put in my order of hash browns, so they arrived after we were done eating. The manager was yelling and belittling a server over a pancake order in front of the entire restaurant. Our table was dirty when they sat us, my coffee cup was dirty when they finally brought me coffee. Given that this location is so close to TAMU, you would think they would have better quality but this experience has completely turned me away from this location.

Had a bad morning and came to eat at this Dennys and my server Maite was amazing. She was very attentive with the food service and super sweet. It just made my morning how sweet she was.

Waited 1 hour just to get asked what we want to drink and gave them to us 30 minutes later and the server was rude and skipped past us while we called to her.

Breakfast with my son in Aggieland. Coffee and water for refreshments, I ordered the 55+ omelet, my son ordered a build your own Slam breakfast. All swerved quickly and hot! Both of us ordered the wheat toast too. No crowds, but schools out so during a slam time it could be a longer wait.

Terrible service. Called to explain my experience and the recipients Barbara and Rebekah were extremely rude and negative.

Really rude service.. asked for assistance and received nasty attitude :/ food was alright no complaints there just service needs to be improved no name badge couldn't give a name.

Order of grapes for kids were dirty!! They weren't washed! I wouldn't care if I ate them but my kids ate them!!

unbelievable. Ordered two meals for me and my boyfriend online, had an estimated wait time for over an hour, I had paid extra for add-ons and seasoned fries only to finally get my order and it's cold, and apparently all the add-ons I wanted are out of stock So I just spent three or four dollars extra for some shit I didn't even get, I called them and they say they have no control over it unbelievable. I'm very disappointed in dennys bc usually I like them

Crystal gave 5 star service today and we truly appreciated such wonderful service from her! she was quick and efficient and made sure to ask if there was anything else needed!

I have eaten here many times over the last year since starting school. They have continuously messed up my orders, but today was the last straw. When I walked in there was only 5 customers that were already there. The server took my order, eggs and sausage, not difficult. I then waited over 35 min and still no food. The same server even came up to me 15 min after taking my order and asked if I was ready to order... really?! Then 2 other tables came in and ordered and they all got their food as I sat there with just a drink. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION. I suggest ya'll avoid this place till they get their act together.

Nayeli greeted me with a smile as I walked in, seated me, and offered me a beverage choice. Quickly brought me out my coffee (good hot coffee) with a selection of creams, and offered to take my order. Food later arrived promptly and all looked great. The food was spot on with what I ordered, flavor, portion., and cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef. He nailed it. I'm quite a chef in my own kitchen, so my standards and expectations are high. Came out here for my nephew's graduation and Naval commissioning at A&M. The next morning at 5:30 I was awoken and traumatized by the barn collapsing noise of my brother's snoring. Also smelt like a box of a dozen dog farts in our Aloft room. Good thing his wife and daughter were in their own room, for they would have been a couple of angry birds the next day. By 5:45 I was dressed and out the door to seek out some breakfast, leaving him behind to rock those paper thin walls at the Aloft hotel.

Food was horrendous. Bacon, brioche bread were burnt. Took 45 min to get food when only 4 other tables were there. Eggs were undercooked. Wait staff barely except at other 4 tables. Trash on floor from time of arrival to after we left. Do not go here!!!!!

This Denny's location actually has some pretty good food each time I've visited . Service is painfully slow, but if you're with friends or distracting yourself from the grumble in your belly you should be fine . Not the cleanest , the fastest, or the best food, but the most convenient breakfast spot in this location and worth it for some pancakes .

It says open 24 hours but I went at 11:50 pm and it was closed there were people inside but the door was locked. What are the real hours?!

I saw the cook steve sit on the bench by the door take off his socks and clean his toes as I was leaving out . I was soooooo grossed out. Beware when he is cooking. He look like one of the hispanic cooks.

Fantastic service from our lovely waitress Nahum!!! Everything was cooked to absolute perfection!

The restaurant was dirty. The food was just okay. Totally turned off by the filthy windows, glass door and the horrible music. I will not be back.

Service here is great, Linda and Carla take care of me every time I am here, unless they are on a cruise.

Let me tell you those hashbrowns were fire. Hailey was very amazing and nice and she continued to check on us throughout our stay.

I always come to this location late at night and Maria and Elijah are always amazing! The best service I've ever had at a Dennys location. Will for sure be coming back again

Once or twice a week I stop in at this Denny's for breakfast, and it is always enjoyable. The food is fairly standard breakfast fare (bacon and eggs, pancakes, etc.), but it is always good. Furthermore, the service I receive from the two morning waitresses--Carla and Linda--is always outstanding. There is never a wait on just about anything, and the atmosphere is very relaxing!

This restaurant allows a homeless person to live in a meeting room in the restaurant with all the attending homeless encampment stuff. It is gross. It is like having the sidewalk in SF in the restaurant. The food is so so.

The service at Denny's was fantastic. Our waitress, Linda gets an A+. Because of the consistent good food and fantastic service we have become Friday morning regulars.

very nice waiter but it took forever to get our meal. The veggies were overcooked. This place needs a major cleaning. The mini blinds were disgustingly dirty. The lamps were very dirty. The partition that separate the booths were filthy. It needs a major cleanup from top to bottom. Never again.

The food was great despite how late I ordered the food. Servers & the whole staff were attentive & lively even though it was a small crowd & slow night. The food was amazing. I normally don't keep leftovers but I kept mine warmed them up. Great job & great service.

The service at this Denny's is, in short, embarrassing. I was sat, someone took my drink order, then went to the bar to continue chatting with her coworkers, forgetting I placed a drink order. They continued their conversation for another 10 minutes until finally another server stopped by to get my order. It was about 35 minutes later that I got my food, cold but waffle overcooked. I would've loved to inform the server, but there was no check back until I was finished eating 20 minutes later when he finally stopped back by and I asked for my check. Didn't get the check for another 10+ minutes. As I was waiting for it, I kid you not, there was a tiny roach crawl across the table. There were also two other tables, so I'm not sure what's up with the poor service and food quality. This place makes a Waffle House seem like 5 star cuisine.

This is one of the best Denny's locations I've ever been too! Hailey was absolutely amazing, and so sweet! We go out food really quickly and it was really good. Hailey took amazing care of us and went above and beyond in service. If you come to this Denny's make sure to ask for Hailey.

The service was horrible. The server, Josh, never checked up on us and it took 45 minutes for our drinks to come. I feel like my friends were a victim of discrimination due to the fact that they are African-American and I am a Latina female. The milkshakes never had whipped cream, plus we were there for 2 hours and never got our food. When we finally got fed up and were trying to leave, we were given an attitude from a worker named Kourtney as well as Josh himself. When we were approached by both individuals, they were very agitated with our presence, but they were friendly and respectful to people of non-color. We were told by Kourtney that it would be completely our fault for our food not coming out when we were simply waiting for two hours for at least one plate of food but unfortunately non of our food showed up. When Kourtney and my friend were speaking about why we were leaving she proceeded to cut my friend off mid sentence with an attitude and everything. Even party's of the same size as us that were seated after us got their food before hand and left before we were even able to order. She then proceeded to give us a hard time telling us we had no reason to leave and was rude even after we explained that we had been there for 2 hours. We never received the food and we ended up staying until almost 3 AM. Then, the server lied telling Kourtney that we weren't ready, even though we tried to tell him we were ready multiple times. We were ignored and waited, watching him clean tables, serve other customers and even give customer's their to go boxes. We even had enough time to watch a movie while we waited. Kourtney proceeded to tell another customer after we asked her name that this happens all the time and if that isn't an indicator of the horrible service this restaurant provides, I would not recommend coming here no matter what. It was all and all a horrible experience and one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had in my entire life. Highly unprofessional and needs to be investigated.

Welp, the Denny's has done me dirty. I don't know what I expected, but waiting 20 minutes before crawling up to the front and asking for water was not it! If you are thirsty- don't go to Denny's. Your tongue would shrivel before the waitress could come take a darn drink order. A large family was seated after me, and somehow got their food a fat minute before I got my plate of pancakes. If you want service that gives a singular shat about a hungry college student- don't go to Denny's. I was hangry by the time the waitress got to me. The rage was there after being forgotten/ignored in my sad little booth. It took another 30 minutes before I got my pancakes. If you want fast service- DON'T go to Denny's! It was such awful service that I thought that John Quiñones was going to pop out and ask me questions about that pathetic scene. Have I been punked? All in all, it was still better than the College Station IHOP. Moral of the story? We need a Waffle House.

I woke up Monday morning after a wedding I attended the night before super hung over and starving. I ran up to the local Denny's for much needed sustenance. I got in around 9 am and the place was about a quarter of the way full. I was sat right away and made my order. My food was out less than 10 mins later. My eggs and hash browns were delicious. Good customer service. In and out in less than 30 mins. Would return if I was in town and needed breakfast food.

I ordered a Pancake Breakfast using the Denny's App. The pancakes were missing the toppings but of course I didn't realize this until I got home. Next time I'll order from IHOP.

I have always been an IHOP guy, as all of my previous experiences at other Denny's have been sub-par. However, I ate at this location on Easter morning and we were blown away at the service we received. The food was above average (4/5) but the service was beyond outstanding. Our waiter -- King -- never let our drinks fall below half way, made great recommendations, was extremely personable, and worked his tail off to ensure our satisfaction. Every member of our group was pleasantly surprised and we decided to make visiting this Denny's a weekly thing. We returned a week later and were served by a different waiter. The service was still OK, but not write-a-review worthy. The third time we returned we saw King was present and asked to be seated at one of his tables. I am not kidding you -- his service was once again impeccable. He makes every meal seem like we are dining at a five star restaurant rather than a local Denny's. I can confidently say that as long as King is working at this location we will continue to be frequent customers. Thank you, your hard work does not go unnoticed!

Something comforting about the familiar when you're on the road. The staff was great and our order was delivered hot and timely. There is still a hometown atmosphere in spite of it seeming to be so high traffic area.

Food was pretty good had a burger. The waitress was really nice. Honestly mid food but it's Dennys its not gonna be gourmet.

We walked in and the place just looks dirty. Looked understaffed. Lots of people seated with no food. The server was nice but he was one person. There was one cook. Management needs to be retrained or fired. There were dishes stacked up on the food counter where the cook places food for server pick up. We ordered drinks. Our drinks came in plastic cups. Our server apologized for the throwaway plastic cups because they didn't have clean cups. We got up and I paid for our drinks. 2 ojs and a coffee was 8.19. We didn't drink any of it. Denny's is normally a reliable place to eat but not this place. Do not waste your time on it.

I eat here from time to time for breakfast. Breakfast is great and so is the coffee. People who work here are friendly most of the time. Today I was surprised at how cold the restaurant was. Although I asked for them to turn up the heat, nothing happened. With hardly anyone in the restaurant, I can certainly understand. Employees all huddled in the kitchen and the waitress wore a sweater. It's cold enough to hang beef!!! I normally come here every few weeks but it's time to try something different.

The worst service ever....actually we never got service. We went to Denny's in College Station on Texas Avenue July 28th at 1:45 in the afternoon. The short female with blond hair reluctantly seated us and took our drink order and never came back. She and the other employees were very busy chatting it up and having a talk fest. There were no other customers there and now I know why. This particular store deserves to go out of business. Upon leaving I asked what the problem was and the smartass blond girl just shrugged her shoulders and said a snarky goodbye. We went to IHOP and had a great meal and the employees were really pleasant. I really do hope this Denny's goes out of business.

I visited the above restaurant. After eating the meal, order #399424@ 10:26:38 AM $18.04, during payment of bill, I placed my debit card into the machine, I always use my 4" digit pin number, HOWEVER "5" digit number was showing up on the machine, I re-did the pin # several times. I complained to the gentleman, he did something to the register then I was able to correctly enter my pin. I do not wish to cause trouble but I feel like he was trying to override my pin. I hope I am wrong. I request something be investigated with this store. I have lost confidence that my rights as a consumer has been violated. He is about 5'6' black braided hair, thin, black man. I guess what really had my gut in knots, was how polite he was after the transaction. Something does not add up. So I decided to complain to the owners.

Absolutely the worst service. All 6 of the waitstaff stood near the front talking and laughing with each other and never even acknowledge we had been seated. We sat there 8 minutes with absolutely no one coming to wait on us. They were too busy playing around with each other. We got up and walked out. No one noticed or said anything. Horrible. Do NOT waste your time!!

Is there an option to do negative stars because I need that. This Denny's service is the definition of arse, my comrades and I have waited about 30 minutes before even getting the chance to order, however to the guy who came and took our order was the homie I appreciate you and this establishment doesn't deserve a brother like you. I have hope that this food we receive is next level tho so bless up.

Great kid choices with chocolate shop pancakes all day and create your own breakfast too. Ordered fried pancake bites and I'd pass on that one. Just solid deep fried batter and no taste. I tried the salmon hot plate and it was very good. The inside of the place and especially the restroom is the cleanest I've been in in a while. Especially many in the Bryan college station area! We gave Denny's a try tonight and will be back for sure!

I would give 0 stars but there isn't an option. My friends and i who are all servers came in and had Demetria as our server, she did not even introduce herself to us after we waited 25 minutes to get our drink order in. Also not the first time we've had her. After that she would not even ask us if we were doing okay, we had to ask her if we could order our meal. A woman who wasn't even our server came to take our order ( she was actually nice to us). currently we are still here and the server hasn't even came back to ask us how the food is or get us anything else we needed after the food came out.

We walked in and got seated immediately. They took our drink orders and we knew what we wanted so we went ahead and ordered too. Thankfully. That was the last time we saw the waitress until our food came out. She brought the food and we never saw her again. After sitting there without drink refills or for her to ask if we needed anything, which I did, I was highly irritated and just wanted the check. After staring and waiting for about ten minutes no one came so I finally just got up and went to the front. The service was terrible and I am upset as I normally request King as my server and he is phenomenal. The service I received today was unacceptable.

The attitudes of the workers was poor. There was a wait of over 30 minutes to be seated even though there was eight empty tables. When questioned the host responded with "oh you want a table". Soon after the host became frustrated that those in line stated to request a table to sit at. The waiters never checked on my table. After multiple requests they refused to give me a refill on water. My dads plate was dropped on the way to the table. The worker said he would get my dad a new sausage when, however we saw him walk back and place the sausage on my sisters toast plate. He denied the act. The food was typical for a Denny's but was a poor experience due to the staff.

If I could give zero stars I would but I would like to complain that during the night shift the workers get lazy and sluggish, we had to wait for our food for like more than an hour and then they didn't even get all our orders so we had to wait more time. The workers didn't really care about our problem so we ended up leaving early, sorry but never gonna go back and service was TERRIBLE.
