We absolutely love that Salt Lake City has such a great distillery. Dented Brick has created very yummy spirits (Rum, Gin, Tequila, Vodka and Whiskey). Please try 1 or 2 or … 7! Dented Brick’s most diverse inventory is at there facility. Please check out their retail store. Also, Dented Brick offer tours and a tasting room. A wonderful $20 value … with a buzz at the end. Danielle is a top notch hostess.

We have done multiple paranormal investigations here through Broken Wings Paranormal. Danielle is such a kind and unique person. We have always enjoyed having her as our host. They have great Dented Brick gear and their distillery selections are one of a kind. Do the tour and tastings when you visit!

Hands down one of our favorite distilleries we visited in SLC area- Marc is a gem! We loved hearing the stories and history of the brand/location and tasting all the amazing spirits! (Pleasantly surprised by the glittery coconut rum - yum!) All around enjoyable- be sure to grab several bottles to bring home to enjoy!

Hands down the best Gin I have ever tasted. Their tequilla and rum were amazing too! I had a tour of the distillery which comes with a really cool story and had a private tasting with the owner. If you haven't checked this place out, you need to.

Decided to give these guys a try with all the state stores closed for a holiday. Super friendly staff and their tequila is amazingly good for the price. Good selection of whiskey as well. Will definitely be back…

Their distillery tour was SO cool! When we were done, one of the people from our party said, “I can’t remember the last time I learned something from every sentence somebody said. I learned so much.” The tour guide was great, the tasting was delicious, and the owner came to hang out with us in the tasting room and tell us more stories about their distillery. Also, there were a lot of cool mixers and swag in their retail room. Definitely recommend.

A great local distillery. Ended up getting the 4 year whiskey as a gift and it didn’t disappoint. I had also gone for a tasting which they were all fantastic, and I’m not big on whiskey.

This place is great. They have a nice variety of gin, rye, rum, and other whiskey. The people are really nice. I especially liked the mango and passionfruit rum and they have a Holiday that is pretty magical. Definitely worth going to.

I can't say enough good things about Dented Brick!! We loved our tour, chatting with the owner, and most of all, the amazing spirits. We even got to try one that wasn't bottled yet (aged in a wine barrel! So interesting!), and we went home with some of everything as well as some presents for our friends back home. We can't wait to go back!

My family and I went on a tour and had a tasting after. Dented Brick has so much incredible history and Marc gave us such an informative tour. After the tour, we had a extensive tasting. They have so many delicious whiskies. I'm not even a whisky drinker and I bought a bottle!! They also have outstanding vodka, tequila and gin. I would definitely recommend stopping in! They have plenty of great things in their showroom to make the perfect cocktail. I can't wait to go back!

Extremely helpful staff, I have not done a tour (yet, will update later), but I did pick up several bottles to give a try. So far I'm beed doing Gin & Tonic with the Dented Brick Gin and it's fantastic. I love the shop and the other products they carry. Very well curated in terms of having other items for sale but without overdoing it. Everything on the shelves appears to he very high quality. We bought some artisanal simple syrup and have been enjoying. I'll be back later to talk about how I like the Roofraiser Vodka and the tour I'm taking this week!

Dented Brick is my favorite spot for local spirits! I've had several great tours and brought a lot of visiting friends to check the place out. The still is impressive and the staff is always happy to answer any questions. All the different spirits I have tried have been excellent! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a tour and tasting.

Best Local Distillery in UTAH. I haven't done the distillery tour, but I restock my bar here. I think their shop is open 6 days a week, there is never a line, and the woman who works behind the counter is super knowledgeable and cool. They have vodka, rum, gin, whiskey, and DISCO NUT rum (super fun-it sparkles). They also have a great bitters selection.

These guys have nailed the local distillery spirit. Great price for your standards of Gin and Vodka, plus some premium stuff for sipping. They are my go to. Love the little store too, lots of thoughtful touches. Now all they need is gastropub!

I love this distillery. I took my father there and we took the tour (pre-Covid). Excellent tour, super friendly staff, and a great selection. I really like Moon's Best Whiskey. The wife is a big fan of Bristlecone Gin. A must visit.

Friendly staff and lots of options for yummy craft booze....plus you don't have to wait in long DABC lines! It's great having a place to buy unique whiskey, rye, gin, and vodka. The store has a lot of mixers, shirts, stickers, and goodies.

I'm loving all the local distilleries. We just happened to walk in at the right time to join up with another small group's prearranged tour. The assistant distiller gave the tour. Currently, there is only silver Rum. That will change. They appear to be better funded, or just deeper in debt, than some others. It's a really nice large space, Three large stills including both pot and column are set up. I saw another small one waiting to be put together in another area. They also are better set up for tastings and have a more organized tour than most. Perhaps the more formal setup and tour is the reason they can use an educational license to have tastings without food. Nice. I purchased a bottle. At home I tasted the Sugarhouse silver against the Dented Brick blind. It was hard to pick a favorite. They each have different characteristics, and are both excellent examples of premium Rum. I don't think I'll be using either as evening sippers, although you could. I prefer gold Rums for that. However, in a Rum forward drink, the quality will show through.

Popped in on my way to the airport, charged $5 to sample their booze. Sample sizes were generous with about 8 different things to try. I only sampled the 2 gins and vodka which i found to be tasty. With your $5 fee you also get a shot glass to take home. Pop in, support local.

Stopped in on a Tuesday at 3:37 in the afternoon. The girl behind the counter was the only person there. We didn't have a reservation and asked if we could do a tasting for two people. She told us "No, I have people coming in soon." She didn't offer to start us before her appt came in or offer to schedule another time!. Just , "No, can't do it." Very poor customer service!!

This place is awesome!! If you have time to go in and do a tour and taste testing, do it! Marc, the owner, is very knowledgeable and is passionate about what he does. The spirits they offer are really tasteful. Karena is also very knowledgeable and very helpful. I look forward to seeing what else they come out with!

Love this place and certainly going back! Booked a tour and tasting (recommended by a friend). What a great experience! Excellent customer service, wonderful spirits, lovely environment. Never knew I was was a fan of vodka until I tasted Roofraiser. Delightful gin and rum too. Cannot wait for their whiskey to launch! Also learned a bit of fun Mormon alcoholic history that's been shoved under the local rug of open secrets.

Stopped by this distillery while visiting Salt Lake. What a great place to test taste craft spirits. We purchased many gifts for friends and family. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to experience a distillery that's up and coming with owners who are hands on and ready to fulfill your taste desires.

A little hard to find because my GPS issues, but very friendly staff. Bought a bottle to bring home and associate offered up some adorable brick stress balls to help secure the package.

Amazing local distillery with a complete liquor store and mixers. I don't bother with the state run stores anymore. Dented Brick has everything I need.

We were in the area and decided to stop by Dented Brick to check it out. We got there right as the scheduled tour was supposed to start. Even though there was nobody else showing up for that tour and we didn't book ahead, they took the time to show us around and do a tasting for us. Really good products, the Roofraiser Vodka and the Akley Gin was even better, but the real standout was the Antelope Island Rum. It's really very good. And the guy that gave us the tour and was helpful and friendly.

I can't say much about their other offerings having never tried them-what I can say is I paid $25 for the most disgusting vodka I've ever had. Vodka should be inoffensive and clean tasting. It should be able to be mixed with practically anything. This vodka is made with wheat and rye; I'm assuming the rye is what gives this vodka the funky (disgusting) flavor. You can't mix this with anything and drinking it straight is horrible.

Dented Brick is fantastic. Great tour, great people, great products. The distillery is situated on the artesian well used 170 years ago by one of the first distillers in the Territory, Hugh Moon. The clear rye whiskey, of Dented Bricks, that bears his name, is smoothie as silk, the vodkas, gins, and spectacular rum are a joy to the nose and palate.

Every one we met was very friendly and nice. We learned a lot. Our hostess was funny and gave us a great history about the Dented Brick. We would definitely would bring friends back. Great vodka!

Dented Brick is an amazing up-and-coming distillery. They have vodka, gin and rum as of now (2016) and plans for whiskey are brewing. We had a fantastic time, their staff is friendly AF, just wanna hang out all day.

Stopped by on a whim and glad I did. Did a tasting and tour, was very pleased with the service level and enjoyed learning about the facility. Although it's listed as a liquor store, it is indeed a distillery and that's what I was seeking. While the tasting room and facility were rather small, the employees made all the difference. I arrived near closing time and they still rolled out the red carpet as though I had arrived as soon as they opened. They also have solid recommendations to other SLC musts.

Ethan, Scott and Marc give an informative and fun tour. Interesting to learn how sugar, molasses, grains, and artesian well water are used to make their craft spirits. Enjoyed taking pictures by the huge copper still. Tour with a taste of Antelope Island Rum their new spirits Carl Ethan Akeley Gin and Roofraiser Vodka is a must-do in Salt Lake.

Loved it! Used a Groupon for the tour and tasting. Definitely worth it but don't expect a long drawn out event like some distilleries. Scott was a fun "guide" and conversationalist about the history of the place - he knew his shit. Definitely recommend for a fun afternoon. The free flask was a BONUS!

This is an exceptional distillery with exceptional people. Love the taste of the Antelope Island Rum and just tasted the Gin, it is great! So wonderful to see a distillery doing grain to glass with an awareness about GMO and organic opportunities. Excellent spirits and a great place to tour and visit.
