DeNucci's Highland Park

Food, service, and atmosphere were immaculate. Emily our server was attentive, had great recommendations, and excellent service!! Shrimp scampi was to die for. Appetizer we had crispy calamari and they were amazing. Pasta came on the side of the shrimp scampi and was so yummy to mix in. The manager made sure our new years was special with champagne on the house and even a complimentary polaroid photo!! So sweet. Definitely worthy of coming back. Thanks for an amazing night!!! Truly amazing food, amazing service, and amazing atmosphere here. I’ve had Danny as my server and he was great! He took good care of us, chatted with us, and kept checking in on us. Also recommended some of the best dishes, including their gluten free pasta and pizza here which are amazing! The restaurant is very clean, and was actually pretty busy, but nonetheless, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!! I was really excited to try DeNucci’s because I have seen it everywhere, but it did not live up to the hype for me. The bruschetta was great, but the vodka pasta tasted sour and was not enjoyable. The chocolate gelato was good, but nothing special. Service was nice and the vibe was cute, but overall the food missed the mark. I might come back to try the Tavern Pizza on Mondays, but I am unsure after this visit.

Best pizza I’ve ever had! Would 10/10 recommend it to anyone. I also had the grilled calamari and thought that was amazing by as well. My server Danny made my experience super well rounded and is the reason I keep coming back to try new things. He keeps giving me recommendations and he hasn’t missed! Thank you Danny for the great service we look forward to coming back again!

This was my first time here, and I’ll definitely be back! The eggplant parmigiana with a side of noodles was absolutely delicious (I was enjoying it so much I forgot to take a picture!). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming - I especially loved the beautiful cabbage flowers outside. Our server, Pedro, was polite, attentive, and very helpful with both food and wine recommendations. We finished with the tiramisu, which was not only delicious but also a generous portion - perfect for sharing. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Service was awesome. Food excellent. Beautiful atmosphere (a little noisy - acoustics and background music made things hard to hear across the table). -meatballs were tender and flavorful - Pizzas (pepperoni and a veggie custom) had a delicious crust, crumb, and nice flavor in the sauce. - Pastas were perfectly al-dente (including the side spaghetti that came with the chicken parm dish). - Chicken Parm was tender, and had a crisp breading. - Orecchiette Pugliese had perfectly cooked greens and the sausage was delicious. We will be back!

Wonderful attentive service. Staff makes you feel welcome. Pedro was our excellent server. Gave us good meal suggestions. Paced meal well. Very friendly , smiling, and upbeat. Managers stopped by to greet us. Chopped salad was delicious with light dressing and lots of vegetables. Branzino was huge, tender and moist. Home made Spagetthi with a light sauce was unique, fresh and delicious. Loved the homemade gelato. Milk chocolate and the best strawberry gelato! Atmosphere is warm and attractive. Very loud inside. Next time will sit outside on nice patio.

We enjoyed the nicest date here last Friday. We made reservations for the coldest day on record (so far in 2026) and when we arrived we expected it to be pretty dead, but it was bustling! After being seated at our table, the manager, Justin, immediately came over to greet us and learn more about why we were visiting. After a round of complimentary garlic knots from Justin, we were treated to a lovely evening by our server, Emily, who was friendly, charismatic, and professional. We ordered the spicy crab pasta, tagliatelle bolognese, a side of meatballs, and the kale salad. Emily also treated us a complimentary desert since we were celebrating a special occasion - the salted caramel budino is out of this world. Everything was delicious, but the tagliatelle was our favorite (although I could live off of those garlic knots for the rest of my life). A great spot for all occasions - I can see us coming back with our kid, our parents, our friends, and again for date nights. DeNucci's is a vibe. So glad we finally visited!
