Dequindre Cut Freight Yard

That was so fun! I came with my cousin since I was home for the summer, and it was a blast. House music Sunday was the best. We danced, drank, and walked around. The scenery was awesome, with people biking, skating, and exercising. The path to the riverfront was so nice. I'm definitely going back. Oh, and the wings and bar were amazing.

Always a good day on the cut. Freight bar always has something going on the wknd evenings. Live DJs, drinks and food trucks. Or bring the kids and your bikes, e bikes, boards or your own two feet and head to the river walk from the cut.

This green space is amazing. People of all walks of life enjoying the path through, walking, biking, skating. The addition of house music on Sunday afternoons is a huge plus! I love it!

Wow! We go to thecut often...to ride bikes, but this festival is a nice twist to the cut. Very well done. You get a decent amount of candy, unlike Zoo Boo or GF Village. The food trucks are amazing...good variety! Only disappointment was the folks smoking pot at a family event. I get its legal...but come on! That was sad!

Discover Detroit like you've never seen it before Not just for a good run and jog and exercise but on a Wednesday and weekend nights entertainment, good food, bar drinks and atmosphere of old becoming new Detroit!

It's always a vibe at TFY. Celebrated my brunch bday here as well as a fellow Virgo friend last summer. We brought our picnic baskets with food, ordered drinks from the bar, and bopped around to the music from the DJ. We were there for hours!!! Definitely a memorable Sunday Funday! I walk the DC a few times a week so I'm always in the area of TFY and stop and sit, chat, sip (sometimes just water lol) and reflect.

Amazing time. Definitely a must go!!

Went during the eastern market after dark night in late Sept. A few food trucks silent dancing, skating and just general hanging out. Young, not so young and families juat enjoying the late summer nite. We parked by the Willis lot and eastern market was live this night too so there were tons of people. And even with police directing traffic it was super busy but so much fun. I hear this is an annual thing, next time I'll get there earlier and go to the market side too. All was happening right by the Willis entrance and not too much further on the cut.
