I was a little worried this place was rated highly for the cars and not the food, but both were fantastic! We tried the brussels sprouts, the chicken and cheddar, and “A Damn Good Reuben,” and the brussels sprouts were exceptionally good. If you’re a car enthusiast, definitely check this place out!

What an incredibly unique dining experience! The Derby and The Shop offers something you won’t find anywhere else in Seattle - the chance to dine surrounded by classic cars in their storage area. We hosted a private party here and were blown away by both the atmosphere and the food. The venue is perfect for special events. The car storage setting creates an unexpectedly cool and fun backdrop that had our guests talking all night. It’s industrial yet welcoming, making for great conversation starters and photo opportunities. The food definitely lived up to the unique setting. The appetizers during our cocktail hour were excellent quality and well-presented. For dinner, the chicken and waffles were absolutely outstanding - perfectly crispy chicken with fluffy waffles that hit all the right notes. The bulgogi lettuce wraps were another standout, offering fresh, flavorful Korean-inspired bites with tender, well-seasoned meat. Service was attentive throughout our event, and the staff handled our private party seamlessly. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience that combines great food with an automotive twist, The Derby and The Shop delivers. Highly recommended for anyone wanting something different from the typical Seattle restaurant scene.

Poutine was pretty good. This is coming from someone from the south... 58 dollars for an alcoholic drink, poutine, and the automatic tip was too much. I won't be back, but the cars were great to look at. The service was okay. No problems just okay. This is definitely a man's cave but with a restaurant attached to it.it has a barbershop in the garage and a cigar store. It has a "club" with access to a cigar lounge and a garage storage. It has a pool table area a few spaces for meetings and you can rent the space if you're a member.

Derby is the spot if you’re into cars and good vibes. They showcase a range of rides that make the place feel more like an experience than just a venue. The bar and restaurant deliver—food was on point, ambience was smooth, nothing to complain about. Easy 10/10.

What a cool place. Came here with some friends for dinner on a Tuesday. Great atmosphere and really great food. Service was super attentive and nice and they make a great dirty martini. I got the cobb salad which was fantastic and my friends got fish and chips and thenpasta which the bith really enjoyed. Parking right out front. Now I just need a cool car.

Absolutely astonished when I first walked in. They’ve got an outside seating which is amazing, a space to sit and chat with sofas and small tables, and ofc main restaurant and bar. Went with a buddy and we both ordered the Derby Burger with Bad ass bacon. Safe to say we will definitely be coming back, the burger was delicious and I’ve never had bacon like they make here. Our waitress was super attentive and staff overall was kind and friendly. The public viewing area of the cars is great. They also offer tours, they show you around the shop and of course the vehicles. It was a unique experience.

It smells like the inside of a garage when you walk in (motor oil), but the smell dissipates as you stay longer. Drinks were strong, food was good. They give tours of the cars if you pay but they have a public viewing area for free

Both the burger and chicken sandwich were delicious, with the flavors hitting just the right notes. Unfortunately, the fries were a major downside. They were so drenched in oil that I’m surprised Congress hasn’t issued a declaration of invasion over them! The garage adds a special charm to Derby, but there’s a slight catch. You can only view the vehicles from a small area at a distance unless you book a tour that’s offered on the weekends for $10. While this isn’t a dealbreaker, it does detract from the overall experience for anyone visiting during the week or hoping to get up close to the cars. Our server was friendly and made the experience pleasant, which helped balance out the small downsides. I’d definitely recommend visiting Derby, especially on the weekend to fully enjoy the car tours. If you’re a fan of good food and classic cars, this place is worth checking out!

During our family trip to Seattle with the whole crew in tow, choosing Derby was a no-brainer. They effortlessly accommodated our lively party of 14--including six energetic kids! The whole group was smitten with the vibe: sleek showroom, nostalgic Hot Wheels store, and a cool, laid-back ambiance that struck the perfect balance. As if that wasn't enough, there was a lowrider meetup in the parking lot and a live DJ spinning tunes--an unexpected and totally awesome bonus. The food? Delicious icing on the cake. All in all, a wildly fun and memorable outing for everyone!

Service is not the best. Food is so-so. The ambiance is that of a dive bar you'd visit before the big game. Parking is awesome because there's dedicated spaces, so no crazy walking and paying to park. Prices are high. Long story long and food details below. We ordered the chilaquiles, breakfast poutine, Monte Cristo and the bad ass Benny. Poutine was reported to be a 3 to 3.5 out of 5. Gravy was flavorful, but lacked depth. The main flavors were oregano and sage. Chilaquiles was a 4 out of 5 with good flavor and texture, but missing the meaty goodness of any added meats aside from chorizo. Monte Cristo was rated a 3 out of 5 and didn't have enough cheese. Very little cheese to powdered sugar ratio. The cherry jam was tasty and potatoes were nothing to write home about. The Benedict was a flat zero. The bacon was tiny, the hollandaise was flavorless and I have the strongest English muffin known to man. I'm pretty sure my English muffin could have benched 350lbs if someone gave it the chance. I almost flung my entire breakfast onto the table trying to cut it. When I went to chew it, I was concerned about possibly losing a tooth. Our waitress took our order, brought me the wrong drink, then brought an unsweetened limeade. She took our food order and then we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. We had to ask a different waiter for refills on drinks and anything else. Not a terrible experience, but not in a rush to come back. Wouldn't recommend this spot, but also wouldn't speak against it. All in all it was "MEH"

If I could give negative stars I would. This place was our go to for breakfast before the games. It's always been a bit slow on the food but we always got our drinks quickly. today was horrible. We were second to be seated at opening and ordered drinks. We sat there for 35 min and no drinks. We went to the bar to try and order drinks about the time the coffee was delivered. Waited another 10 min for the mimosa. Meanwhile the waitress took orders and got drinks for others that came in after we did. We finally ordered 45 min AFTER we sat down. By the time we finally got our food all other patrons who had come in after us, one 20 min after us had their food and mostly finished eating. It was bad. The food wasn't good anymroe either Sadly, the food has gone down hill significantly. The menu was disappointing as well. There were a lot of changes and they weren't great. The options we had enjoyed the previous 6 years were gone. The Benny was soggy and sauce watery. The breakfast potatoes were greasy and partially uncooked to the point they were inedible, When it came time to get out check we were told there was a mandatory 17% gratuity and a 3% service fee. So we were forced to endure bad service and still pay a full tip. We asked for a receipt and the waitress didn't want to get us one. When she finally brought one it wasn't ours. Then she we very rude. We asked for a manager she said there wasn't one. No manager on start of the season game day??? Yeah we will NEVER go back. Don't waste your time and money.

The happy hour burger was pretty outstanding. We chose to skip the lettuce, tomatoes and pickles ($8 up charge, which coincidentally made the whole meal more expensive than the regular priced burger). As we ate, I checked out the yelp reviews and learned about the 20% service charge. None of which goes to the servers. And then tax, making this a spendy lunch. Kaley was a very gracious server, explaining that cash tips are welcome but not expected.

We came across this place while looking for a place to pass time while waiting to see a show and were delightfully surprised! The vibe is very modern industrial and they have a bunch of classic cars on display. There were TVs playing the Mariner's game as well. We ordered drinks and wings and fries. The wings were amazing! They had a garlic chili soy flavor and were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were cooked perfectly and deliciously covered with parmesan and truffle. Our drinks were strong. The bill came to $82, which seems steep for what we ordered, but it was well worth it! I'd come back here again if I'm in the SODO area.

Really cool place! I don't know how I hadn't heard about this spot before but glad I decided to come in! It's decorated with a bunch of cool car stuff and is attached to a big garage with both new and old cars. We didn't ask about tours but the website says they do tours on the weekends for $10. We had the meatloaf and a steak special. The steak its self was good but we weren't huge fans of the Gorgonzola butter on top. The veggies were really good! 4/5 without the Gorgonzola butter but 3/5 with it. The meatloaf had a great flavor but was a little dry. There was a bit of sauce on top but I would've loved more or even extra on the side. The veggies and mashed potatoes on this were also great! 3.5/5. I would definitely go back to try some salads and burgers that I thought looked good!

Glad my friends arrived early. Us all being car guys, this is the spot. I would have given 5 stars however our server never asked if I wanted something to drink and I was super thirsty. My friend got up and got me a cup and carafe of water. The surroundings are nice and the outdoor space is great. Sunny day in Seattle and had a delicious burger. Fries were crispy like I like them and the tartar sauce is unique as it's not pickled based, it's dill. Good times as we went to the founders garage and saw priceless cars.

Paid $75 to go to an edm show last weekend had a sit in the rain for 30 mins before entering. The speakers were terrible they kept cutting out and had a crazy sharp loud noice every 7-10 mins during the hole 3 hour show. It's a cool venue but won't be returning. The Mexican truck also was gross and gave all my friends the runs. Honey buckets were the only place available to go and smelled terrible.

Very interesting concept for a dinner This place is actually much more than just a place to eat. It's also a car club/auto shop/ auto storage facility. They have some fairly interesting cars to look at also. But beware you do have to stay in the limited public spaces. Luckily they do have fun patio space that in sure adds to the experience when the weather is great. The food is good, but kind of pricy for what all you get. No complaints about the service or the interior design. However, When we first walked in, we were kind of overwhelmed by the smell of gas. I thought I had accidentally gotten gas in myself so I was sniffing my hands and arms for the first few minutes before it really dawned on me that it was the shop. The smell fades after a while. One huge plus goes to derby for having a really easy parking lot once you get inside of it. Lol. Overall I would reccomend this place for a simple fun meal. Probably wouldn't go out of my way and make reservations again, but still a pretty chill spot to get brunch. If your expecting a diner, this is a diner for sure.

We came here for Happy Hour on a Friday afternoon. The staff was friendly and confirmed that Happy Hour applied to the entire restaurant, so we could sit anywhere. However, the Happy Hour specials were only for drinks. When we asked if they had non-alcoholic beer, they checked with the bar and found that they did! We enjoyed our Athletic Mexican Lager and garlic fries very much. The restaurant was spacious with nice decor. Parking was easy, thanks to the parking lot.

I found the service very off putting. They seemed troubled to be there and have customers. I was excited to see the cars and the menu looked good. The kitchen was fast and the food was 4 out of 5. However both at reception and during ordering, being served and settling the bill interactions we less than enjoyable.

I've been sleeping on this place. I went when it first opened and haven't been back until recently for a work happy hour. The happy hour options are good, as is lunch. I came back and had the Brussels sprouts and the skillet cookie dessert! My friend and I split the bird dog fried chicken sandwich and upgraded to garlic fries. The chicken was crispy and moist. Service was awesome and both visits. Thank you Anna, Marie and Nester! Can't wait to come back for more HH and brunch.

4 stars for the food but it was $$$$. Adding bacon to an already expensive burger was $5! The built in fees/service charge really should be mentioned on the menu. And if it was its not obvious so It was a bit of a shock. Four of us ate and it was $178! About $40 more than that type of food would cost where we live

Their cobb salad was to die for!! I love the ambiance and the crowd of Seattlelites. Decently prized and would def go there again! Food was extremely delicious! Would def be coming back and would recommend it to everyone.

My wonderfully amazing girlfriend had made surprise reservations for us for my birthday, and I have to say, I was so impressed and blown away! It's insane that we have a place like this here in Seattle, and it was great having the experience of a car-culture restaurant for the first time! They had a little merch area, and on the Saturday morning we had gone, there was a Mercedes meet going on outside. We figured that we could have more visibility of the cars inside, but it then became evident that they had tours you could pay for to check out the rest of the vehicles. We still got a good view of some of my favorite Porsches, so I was a happy man! The food was good, it was certainly not the best I'd ever had, but it was filling, and the steak had a good flavor! Don't come here just for the food, if you're looking for a great overall experience as a car enthusiast, this is it for you!

My job had an event for us here. Before arriving I was excited about the menu which looks amazing! I was deciding between Fish and Chips and the Damn Good Reuben however upon arrival we were in there event space!- Lol If you're in need of an event space for Car Enthusiast or anything unique in general I recommend! They have quite a large space and it's surrounded by all types of Classic Vehicles. We had about 100 people and it seemed as though it could honestly fit double that amount. They seem to have their own system of catering and a bar service so you may be able to work something out with the events team! I recommend!

I am NOT* a big car guy but I got to dine here for lunch 2 different times now. Once around 2018 and just last week. Both times, service was top notch. Our servers were attentive and friendly. The food was very sold too. Last week, we started with fried Brussel Sprouts which was very tasty (definitely not a healthy starter or anything though) and for the main course I had steak salad. Nothing was mind blowing here but our party enjoyed everything we ordered. I cannot really conclude this review without mentioning the interior decor. This place must be a dream for vintage car collectors and car buffs. Behind the dining area, they have a garage with maybe about....idk... Hundred(?) cars parked they belong to their members. Also it seems like they had a few cars for sale as well. Such a cool spot if you're into this sort of thing. One thing I will mention is that you do not have to be a member to eat at the restaurant. I highly recommend this place especially if you have not been here before. Even if you're not a car person, I think you will be intrigued and the food is solid.

We recently had the good fortune of having a family brunch at Derby Restaurant. It was one of the only places where we could make reservations for a party of 13 that offered a broad selection of menu items for both adults and children. My immediate family is local, but we were meeting out-of-town family that were disembarking from a cruise and heading to the airport later that evening. First, the wait staff was excellent. Our server was kind, patient, and didn't rush us. He provided excellent service, making sure each individual was given time and accurate info to make their selection. After we ate, he made sure we were comfortable until everyone was ready to leave. The menu offered something for everyone. We loved their use of local ingredients. Feedback on the breakfast tacos was especially positive. The breakout favorite was the French toast - it was heavenly! Finally, I have to say the atmosphere was distinctive and entertaining at the same time. Everyone (adults & kids) commented on the vintage car collection. For those who haven't seen it, it's truly unique! The expanded dining with doors open to the outside made it feel spacious but cozy at the same time. I can't wait to go back again!!

Stopped in here before a mariners game. Definitely off the beat in path! My wife found this just looking for places around T mobile Park(keep in mind it's still over a mile away). First off I am not a car guy, but the whole concept is pretty cool. Now I am not sure if these cars are all just stored here or if some have work that needs to be done, nonetheless, there are plenty of different ones to look at in awe. The set up of the whole place is very clean and sleek, absolutely loved the ambiance. The server that we had was nice and somewhat attentive, though it was pretty empty when we were there. We started off ordering two drinks(pictured). Both were great and generous on the pour. My wife and I had a hard time deciding on what to get so we just ordered a couple of small plates. Brussel sprouts were decent, I was hoping for a little more flavor, but still good. The wings were good, but had a slight flavor of fish sauce, we still devoured the whole plate of 7(?). The gnocchi Mac and cheese we both had high hopes for, but tasted very watery and plain, without the bacon in it would have been a disappointment. We did order a second round of drinks which were just as good as the first. Overall I would have to rate the ambiance a 5 and the food a 3. The service was also middle of the road. We may swing by again for real entrees, but if you're looking for eye candy in the automotive department, this is a great place! And the drinks hit the spot!

We have gone to Derby Restaurant regularly for more than a year and are VERY unhappy about some recent changes that have resulted in our needing to find a new brunch spot. The food is good and we felt that the experience (and awesome cars) justified the higher than typical price tag for brunch. We loved going to Derby because of how the staff treated our family - especially our child - but a change to the pricing + service charge/tip structure has resulted in the cost of dining here exploding and all of our favorite front of the house staff members leaving. Derby recently increased prices (which is fine) and added a 20% service charge that apparently goes to the house - not the staff. The prior front of the house team was very classy about it; sharing that changes had been made and that the 20% charge had been added en lieu of tipping. Then they all quit, unfortunately, because their wages were substantially reduced as a direct result of the change. We had no idea that the service charge was not being given to the servers. The new servers offer worse customer service - at least in part, I am sure, because they are new - and flat out request cash tips. It's wild to spend $120+ for brunch between food and fees for 2 adults and a toddler and have the server - who didn't get your order right and made you wait 20 minutes after completing dining (in a nearly empty restaurant) to give you your check - request that you leave a cash tip on top of that. For perspective, it costs the 3 of us under $80, typically, *including tip* to eat at Portage Bay. It has been sad to watch Derby decline so far so fast. I suspect that this money grab will end up costing the restaurant substantial business long term, unfortunately.

10/10 recommend a visit here! We paid to take the full tour for just $15. (I apologize for murdering the spelling on her name) Igioza at the front desk took us on the tour and did and excellent job. the tour was about 20-25 minutes and was absolutely amazing. She told us some fun stories about some of the members cars they keep there and was very informative. After the tour we had a quick bite to eat. The derby burger and house salad was phenomena. As well, the espresso martinis might have been some of the best I've ever had. Great vibes and will absolutely be making the drive from Portland to Seattle again just to come back.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday and they were busy. They certainly have fans because there's not much nearby. Ordered the steak salad and it was yummy. Steak was cooked perfectly. They could have eased up a little on the dressing as that left the rest of the salad on the saltier side.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and when we walked in we didn't wait too long. The staff who helped us communicated about helping us soon which I thought was great that they communicated that. In addition to that, I thought it was really cool we can see the cars near us while we eat our food it gives a great view to those who love cars (like my boyfriend). The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the bacon in the eggs Benedict was a bit chewy for me. Other than that, the service and the ambiance was top notch!

A gem hidden deep in SODO Derby is is actually a a shop where car enthusiasts car store and tune up their cars. Their restaurant is still great nonetheless. Food If you go for breakfast, you can't go wrong with French toast, but you MUST try the Bad Ass Bacon. Hands down the best restaurant bacon I've had in my life. They offer other great breakfast and lunch food as well. Service The first time I went, our server wasn't the best. I went with my friend and his daughter, and gratuity was already added to the bill. He let my friend know this and pre selected no additional tip before handing the mobile bill to him, but when it was time for my bill, he weirdly didn't say anything, I didn't realize the gratuity but was able to deduce this due to the tip being 3-7%. With that said, the rest of the staff are friendly and attentive. I went a second time and our server chopped it up with us and made sure our cups were always full. I had no issue giving him a hefty additional tip. Ambiance If you're a car person, you can sit next to the window and see all the luxury cars being stored, from G wagons, to old school hot rods! It's a great place to bring kids to spark their love for automobiles! Verdict Between the good food and the ambiance, this place is great, but the service could be better at times. All in all, I give this place a 4/5 would recommend!

No amount of cool cars can cover up how dry my burger was. The waitstaff were so sweet and willing but wow the food was so mediocre. I ordered the Derby Burger and it was borderline burnt, it felt like they mixed their beef with industrial grade steel it was so tough. If you wanna see beautiful cars then go, but if you want a good burger keep searching. Though I should also note that the people I dined with said the steak and the chimichurri sauce was good, so if you're interested in that then try it out.

The only word to describe the food here is incredible. Burgers are juicy and flavorful bacon is cut THICC with two c's (get the bacon on your burger) fries cooked and salted to perfection Arnold Palmer is very lemonady(I love Arnold) staff was nice and aesthetic was very cool, and cars are cool (they have Macklemore limo) I don't have a car but if I did I would total it so I could get it serviced here and enjoy the good food and Macklemore car (Update: DOGS ALLOWED ) 10/10 come here or I will kick your shins not too hard but like too the point where it's annoying and you're like gosh diddly I guess I have to go now this guy won't stop kicking my shins

Four of us stopped in today (9/7/2025) for lunch. We were seated quickly, but no server showed up. 20 minutes after we were seated, the manager came by the table, said someone would be with us shortly, and took our order. We already had plenty of time to decide what we wanted, so we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Then nothing... There were several servers going to the tables around us, but no one checked on us. After another 30 minutes, and still no drink service at all, we started trying to get one of the servers to help us. None of them would give us eye contact or even acknowledge us trying to get their attention. I went to find that manager that had taken our order. She apologized but was useless. She could not tell us when our food would be out, and kept repeating she was sorry, but there was nothing she could do. We ended up leaving to eat at another restaurant. We waited more than an hour at a table before leaving. Never received our drinks, water, or even had a server show up at our table.

Car buffs--heads up. Derby continues to be one of the most unique dining experiences in Seattle. Even if you're not a car aficionado, you'll love this place. Food is terrific; they have a discerning clientele. Service is warm and friendly; they have a discerning clientele. But it's the atmosphere and the cars that shine. Hubby had the Asian Chicken Salad which he loved. I had a burger with garlic fries that were amazing. A real burger my friend. The fries were excellent--especially with the sides of catsup and ranch sauces. I noticed the bartender engaged with customers and the vibe is very friendly. Because they are located in a high end auto shop, the surroundings are a conversation piece. The day we were there they had a vintage VW bus with fiberglass boat on top just like my family had when I was a kid. Derby will bring back memories and bring out your inner car love. It's worth the drive to SODO for a lunch date.

Ate here yesterday and some thoughts. #1 Service, super friendly, kind, sweet servers. We were in contact with 3 servers, our main server while "new" was attentive, prompt, and we had no idea she was new until she said she's new and asked whether one of our party was a member of the car "Shop" adjoined to it, the food runner, super sweet, funny, fast, third one was funny, and kind also! So as for the service, 5 Stars no doubt, was very happy with it. #2 The "Bad Ass Bacon." Holy Moly, if you love bacon, come here. 4 slices, I think was $18, but the size of them! The flavor! The slight sweetness, the succulence, the texture, so glad we had it, and definitely the main reason you come here to eat. I could only handle 1.5 pieces though. 4 Stars. #3. Food temperature was not impressive. Nothing was hot. The garlic fries, my burger were not hot. Not sure about the brisket burger, or the peppers from the other people in our party, but yea, it was the first thing I noticed on first bite. Did I finish everything? Yup, still good, but food temperature when things are supposed be hot it big for me, so I give the food 3 Stars. Service and Bacon stand out here. Cool ass car garage (members only) gives it cool ass ambiance, and you can see some of the cars through the windows if you cannot tour it with a member. But if you're not a member, I provide some pics for ya :)

One of the most unique eateries in Seattle. Really encourage people to check it out both because the food and the interesting ambience. The service is great too. If you are a car enthusiast, you should not miss Derby.

We always come for the bacon!! It's amazing! Today we shared the BLT with fried egg and still got a starter of the bacon! Got to try it if you haven't!! But the hubby who loves fish and chips said it was one of the best ones he's had!! Theirs is made with rock cod! Crispy beer batter and not greasy!

This place is pretty cool. The vibe feels 'rockabilly' a bit and you are sitting in a restaurant area of a club for car collectors. There is a small free viewing area of the garage to see some fun cars or take a tour for a fee. We went for brunch (only on weekend) and it was great. Had the eggs Benedict and it was perfect for me and the bacon...oh the bacon. Also the fried potatoes just hit the spot for me. I wouldn't call them home fries but I really loved the crisp and flavor of them. Just a delightful breakfast. Staff was awesome and friendly/attentive. We did not partake in any morning brunch adult beverages but for sure you could get some here. Parking wasn't a problem for us but just FyI that there isn't a ton and then you are parking on the street. A unique place for a brunch or a lunch/dinner if you are in the area.

Randomly found the spot and decided to come because of the car aspect of it! The theme is really cool they have F1 races on the TV and the decor to look like a fancy auto shop. Definitely a good place to take car lovers or people visiting from out of town (I'll definitely be taking my dad back here). I ordered the breakfast poutine and I enjoyed it, but it does have french fries (because poutine has french fries obviously) which is definitely a different vibe than eating eggs over breakfast potatoes. So probably would not recommend if you don't want to eat French fries for breakfast xD The service was really friendly and attentive so no problems on that front and I loved how they had free parking in the lot outside. You can take a tour of the car garage which you can schedule at the front desk, or there is a public free area that you can look across the garage. I think it is also only for the members The Shop but there is a hair salon and a cigar shop in the garage which is kind of random.

Few times at Derby this month in the company of best friends and planning to go again soon. It's an unusual setting in The Shop. So is the ambiance, character, decor, with a beautiful long bar and dining area on three sides. Our group tried several menu items. Starting with MISO SHISHITO blistered shishito with pepper, black sesame miso aioli - an excellent starter. Lamb curry with Greek yoghurt and rice was just done right. DERBY BURGER AND FRIES tried by our group member is something to crave for. WESTSIDE GUMBO we ordered in two different spice levels. Mine spicy gumbo made with homemade andouille and shrimp gumbo, rice was sumptuous. QUESADILLA with chicken turned out to be an amazing choice as well. We all agreed that the rotating wine pairing needed better options than we indulged in. Christie and Mike are going to work on it. Overall great experience with menu selection coming from the open kitchen and well served by Mike, Jessica and Christie. Way to go team Derby. Surprise was a brief stop by none other than one of the co-owner of The Shop who also has several sets of wheels there. Also amazing to get a prompt acknowledgment from the bar manager Morgan Shultz. There aren't many restaurants in the Sodo area. With that in mind, Derby is a solid choice. There's a parking lot, street parking, online reservations, and stuff to ooh and ahh over. If not for those features, I'd probably rate closer to a 3.5. Food and cocktails are good. I've only been here for brunch but each time, I left feeling full and slightly buzzed. The bacon is hyped but worth it I think. I wish they had more rotating entree options but they've got the basics covered. Service is friendly. You can tell the pandemic has affected staffing as it took awhile to get ordered taken, receive food & drinks, etc. but everyone was hustling and trying their best. While I haven't been, they do have happy hour. Definitely excited to try one day.

Food was mediocre and overpriced. Service was good but was charged a 23% service fee and was not told or given an itemized bill, so tipped 20%, only to realize they auto included it after paying and signing. No problem with an auto gratuity, but not to communicate that and then ask for a tip is SHADY! Not returning

Stopped in for lunch and to check out the BACON. Very cool atmosphere. We started with the Bacon appetizer. It was good but I prefer my bacon on the crispy side. I ordered the Korean Chicken Sando. It was ok however, I was expecting something a bit more spicy. I think the chicken would be good as strips with the dipping sauce. My husband ordered the BLT. Again it was ok but he wouldn't order it again. The garlic fries that came with his BLT were delicious! Our waitress was super friendly and did a fantastic job.

This place is awesome. The concept is heart if you like cars new and classic. We were here for breakfast the food was really good. The toasted marshmallow espresso martini was legit highly recommend and the bailey's and coffee was good the service was on point super friendly. I will be back every time I come to Seattle.

Eggs benedict - 8/10 BLT - one of the best I've had. This place is good. If you like cars I'm sure it's great (I'm not a car person)

Derby has stepped up their game.. food and service were excellent! Our server Mariah was super friendly and attentive. We got to meet the chef - Lucy.. she's killin' it! Our lunch was so delicious and the dessert was amazing as well. Only got a pic of the dessert (my bad lol). It's been a while since we've stopped by.. however, after today's experience and seeing the new menu items, we'll be back soon.

I went here for brunch for a friends birthday...never been before. I loved this place! Cool atmosphere and there are a bunch of awesome cars to look at. Macklemore has his moose mobile there. I ordered the steak and eggs and just wolllllllfed those down. Ordered a Bloody Mary, a shot of fireball and a beer. The staff was cool and nice. They served us fast and with flair. I left feeling good. There can be some sketch balls walking around the area outside but that is not their fault...that's the Governor's. I will certainly come back again. I will be like a Kirby at Derby next time and suck down multiple drinks and eat food like a man on a mission. Keep up the good work ownership!

This place is SO fun to visit. I went twice during my trip to Seattle for my fall break, first time was on Sunday (10/1) for a tour and brunch, then my sister wanted to try it out too so we went again on Tuesday (10/3). As a car person I enjoyed it very much, seeing dozens of classics or super rare cars. Will 100% come back when I come back to Seattle in the Spring.

Good for just drinks and to look at the cars I guess. Not good for food. Pros: Cold beer Server was sweet, and attentive great service. Shelby I think? Cool atmosphere. Cons: that bird dog sandwich is atrocious. Two sad pieces of dyno nugget chicken pieces in a dogshit hot dog bun... for $22.... Places like this remind me not to eat out anymore or just go to chipotle

I'm always happy when my car needs to be serviced because it means I get to kill time here with good food and a great selection of draft beers. It's a warm atmosphere and service is always great.

Great atmosphere, food, and service! Weekend brunch is a must! Derby/The Shop Club always have unique vehicles on display and cool events going on. Highly recommend!

Although the food as decent when it finally arrived, between the numerous forgotten drink orders, constantly having to flag the waitstaff to remind them of placed orders not brought, inaccurately cooked food, and the inaccurate final bill, this was the worst service I've ever received eating out; I won't be back.
