Dereszla Bisztró

This was our first visit, and we left absolutely thrilled! I don’t even know what to praise first—the beautifully cozy atmosphere, the interior design, the incredibly kind and welcoming waiter who spoke perfect english (truly, hats off to him!), or the food itself… I had the vegan stuffed kohlrabi and was blown away! The presentation was top-notch, and the flavor was on a world-class level—especially considering this isn’t even a plant-based restaurant. Absolutely perfect. See you soon, guys—I already can’t wait to come back!

It was a perfect experience in every way! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Beautiful setting, amazing service (special mention for the mixologist and sommelier, I'm sorry I didn't have his name - he made my dinner experience an exceptional one thanks to his great knowledge and kindness), the food was out of this world! Such a great attention to details and to the sourcing of the produce among local producers. Chef Bém Bence is incredibly talented, he and his team do magic). I will definitely go back and I highly recommend Dereszla Bisztró!

Overall, I would rate our recent visit to Dereszla Bisztró as a great success. It is a place with a wonderful atmosphere that offers a high-level culinary experience. Food and Service: The gastronomy was flawless. The food was delicious, creatively prepared, and made from fresh ingredients. The service was equally top-notch – the staff was attentive, prompt, and very pleasant, which significantly contributed to the positive impression. Observations for Improvement: I identified two minor shortcomings. The first is the parking capacity, which is quite limited. Although we eventually found a spot, it could be a challenge during busier times. The second observation relates to the indoor seating during the afternoon. Around 3:00 PM, the setting sun was shining directly into our eyes, which was rather unpleasant and reduced our comfort. A simple solution like blinds or curtains would elegantly solve this issue. Conclusion: Despite these two small details, our experience was excellent. Dereszla Bisztró is an establishment worth visiting for its quality cuisine and first-class service. We will gladly return and highly recommend it.

An amazing place right next to the Bodrog river, where we had an exceptional lunch with my family. Great food, excellent service.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. The restaurant is nicely done, I like the architecture and the interior design of the place. Interesting play with the forms, how the kitchen area is a small replica of the entire building. The food was amazing, we arrived as a big group, therefore I have pretry much seen the entire menu. Everything is very nicely presented, beautiful plates. Staff is very friendly. I was expecting fine dine potions, but it was not really the case. We shared a started and ordered mains and I was completely full at the end. I definitely welcome the use of corse salt. I wouls definitely return at some point, although I rarely visit this part of the country.

Amazing location and gastronomical experience in the bend of Bodrog river with velvet lawn, natural terrace and chic interior. The air and the view is magical and the culinary experience is built on the traditional localities and the modern gastronomy. The service is cheerful and professional and the prices are down to Earth compared to similar places in the region. The wines are exceptional and sold on cellar price.
