15 Best Desert Safaris in Dubai

"Adventure Leisure Tourism offers plenty of safaris, but their straight up desert safari is by far their best—and the range of activities included is far more eclectic than most. This activity-led tour will take guests dune bashing, on a camel ride, and through a whirlwind of cultural experiences, with a variety of shows you won't see elsewhere. For an extra fee, guests can add quad biking to the mix." - Maresa Manara

We had an amazing desert safari experience with our family. The whole tour was very well arranged and full of joy. We loved the dune bashing, camel ride, and watching the sunset in the peaceful desert. The BBQ dinner was tasty, and the live shows were fun and entertaining. Special thanks to our driver Amir. He was respectful, professional, and took care of everything in a friendly way. His driving was safe and smooth. This trip gave us lovely memories. I truly thank the team and highly recommend this tour for families who want a safe and fun adventure

Mansour was our driver for the Abu Dhabi trip. He was 1 hour late on arrival so our plan was delayed. He provided no information whilst driving and he hasn't been to Qasr Al Watan before. We were supposed to be back for 730pm as agreed but he made us come back 920pm. (2 hours later) He was falling asleep at the wheel and couldn't drive in a straight lane which is very dangerous. He argued with us. And was speaking negatively of us in urdu. We had massages booked at the hotel and ruined our plans. Worst company ever.

The worst company you can book with, the driver came at 2:45pm and our schedule was 3:00pm and he left us we called them several times and all they said take a bus or taxi and come. Never trust this company. You can enjoy the show and place as you can see but with different agent

in shot: a nightmare! I keep wondering what kind of scheme they were able to pull of to collect this many 5 star reviews. Here is my quick advice for anyone entertaining the idea of Desert Safari: don't do it! But if you absolutely insist to do so, then... - do not go with this company (Adventure Desert Tourism). The bad news is that they are almost the same. They all have a poor looking, crowded, camps in the same 1km radius. - if you still insist, read the fine print and the plan several times as they make it misleading. Choose a hotel pick up with a 4x4. A pick up doesn't automatically mean 4x4. You could get a centralized pick up with a 3rd world bus packed with people that you have to wait for after and before the event. - don't expect the same service as you would get if you booked directly with them. Although you would think they advertise the same packages here, no, they don't. They will rip you off. - Very very rude people, just expect it and you won't be disappointed. - Although, you feel that you have already paid for it all, they will keep coming around, being really pushy to sell you something that you don't need or is included in your package. - Don't arrive too early as you will be bored and sit uncomfortably wondering what they hell I am doing here. - There is nothing authentic Bedouin about it. The bar has alcohol (are you really muslim?) - The welcome tea and coffee means, that you poor water into a foam cup and add your own Nescafe. The tea goes the same way. - They will remind your several times, you can only drink water until 7PM. - and no, the Dune bashing isn't 20-30 minutes as you would expect. It is hardly 5 minutes and just going in circles. You actually don't go deep into the desert, it is right by the highway. and something positive for the end. The Quad bike is actually fun, but not more than 15 min.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILIES. NEVER OPT FOR THIS AGENCY! Worst experience ever. Would have given minus rating if I could. We have been to multiple dessert safaris but this was the worst. Very very mismanaged, unorganized, food was pathetic and good over in 30 mins. Inspite of selecting VIP seating, we had the most pathetic experience. We had a baby with us, crying and still they were giving priority to those cutting the queue. Finally we had to argue and get our chance just for getting into the car which would leave us to the parking lot. Camp was full of pathetically mannerless men.

Booked this tour as desert safari online, price seemed very reasonable and included everything I was looking for. Our driver Raja gave excellent service, good communication pre pickup with accurate times, got us to the venue safely and then made sure we were all aware of pickup arrangements after the show, and came round to find us all and get us back to his car to return us safely to our hotels. Contrary to other reviews, I found the food very good with plenty of variety, my only issue is politely turning down all the offered add ons to up the overall price, but it should not be a surprise that this will happen. The show was brilliant and very entertaining, and the 4 x 4 drive through the dunes exhilarating. Agree about the camels, but as a solo traveller I got my ride, and happily bought the pictures to prove it Thankyou PS one option worth paying for is the VIP option, you get better seating , early access to the food and unlimited free soft drinks and water offered

I took one family package in 600 and it worth the money . They will take you to a place to buy some souvenirs and then you can rent a two sitter bike quad wheel to jump in the sand (not included in the price), after that you will arrive the camp with free camel ride and later on all shows as described. Mansour was my driver and he made the trip even smoother as he is very gentle and servicial .
