Desi Adda - Indian Fast Food

This cute little "hole in the wall" is truly a hidden gem! While in reality, it's no hole in the wall at all. You actually feel like you're in a small shop in India when dining-in with the colorful decorations, background music and overall setup of the restaurant. Not to mention the food, which was absolutely amazing! Very tasteful chaat and small dishes, each with it's own little twist. I got: -masala chai -mango lassi -Chinese Frankie (get it on a paratha) -Chili Cheese Corn Grilled Sandwich -to top it off, get their Chocolate Pan - it was bomb! EVERYTHING was 10/10. I loved the food so much, I get went again the next day. Ask for Ajay or Shubham - very friendly folks who'll take great care of you while there!

Love the Indian (DESI) vibes..!!!! ❤️❤️ They have live Pani-Puri stall, literally on a thela😂 We tried Bombay Vada Pav, Mango Lassi, Pani Puri & Tea. Loved each item, will definitely give another try whenever I can.

I recently visited Desi Adda, and I must say, it’s a hidden gem for Indian street food lovers! Every bite took me on a flavorful journey back to India. Their **Dabeli** is out of this world—perfectly spiced, with a sweet and tangy chutney that ties all the flavors together. The **Samosa Sandwich** is a genius combination of crunchy, savory goodness with the freshness of veggies and chutney in every bite. But the real standout for me was the **Dabang Wada Pav**—a spicy, flavorful powerhouse that packs a punch without overwhelming the palate. Each bite was a symphony of textures and heat, just what you’d expect from authentic Indian street fare. And of course, the **Pani Poori** was a delightful experience—crisp, tangy, and oh-so-refreshing. The warm hospitality and vibrant ambiance of Desi Adda just added to the experience. If you're craving authentic, delicious Indian snacks, Desi Adda should be your go-to spot. Highly recommend!

Good place for Indian street food. Sitting is limited and parking is hard to find. Tried the following items: Chole kulche [ Kulche size is very small, if it's a business move so that you have to order more than it's a bad move. And chole was also bit salty but overall taste was good] Chinese Frankie cold [spicy] Samosa chat Kuchi dabeli 2pcs Cheesy aalo roll Overall good experience, would visit again to try more items

A hidden gem for Indian street food. I was in New Jersey, Indian street area, and visited this place and I am really glad I did. This place has an extensive menu of Indian street food mostly vegetarian. You will find something to your liking. The place has limited seating though. The staff was extremely helpful and helped us with our choices. They were individually focused on customers which is rare. Had a Dabeli and Vada paav, two of the popular Indian street foods. Both were amazing.! In drinks, I had masala soda and it was amazing have something so close to Indian street masala soda. The place can have accessibility issue as it has a single stair to get into the restaurant. No restrooms.The place was not too busy, seating was available for 8-10 people. I recommend this place for its amazing food and not the ambiance. Street parking was an option if traveling via car and there are a lot of paid parking lots at walking distance.

One of the best experiences for Pani Puri. You get 6 different flavours of Pani and all of them are brilliant. Khatta Meetha, Pudina, Garlic, Mango, Jaljeera, Guava! The service is just too good. Must visit oif you're craving Pani Puri.

Desi Adda is an absolute gem in Jersey City! The food took me right back to the vibrant streets of India with its authentic flavors and amazing taste. The environment here is just as impressive—cozy, vibrant, and truly captures the essence of a desi adda. The menu is unique and limited, which ensures that every dish is crafted to perfection. Yes there will be a 15-20ish minute wait time for them to prepare the food but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend it for anyone craving genuine Indian street food. 5/5 for both the food and the atmosphere!
