The food here is absolutely excellent—full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. Every dish tastes fresh, rich, and authentic, with spices that are balanced and not overwhelming. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the cooking is done right. On top of that, the owners and everyone working behind the counter are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They’re happy to answer questions, make recommendations, and make you feel comfortable and appreciated as a customer. Amazing food, warm service, and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommended

I had a really disappointing experience with Desi Deli. I ordered dal makhani late at night when I was extremely hungry, hoping for a comforting meal. Unfortunately, the food was completely spoiled. The dal makhani tasted off — sour and stale — definitely not fresh or edible. It was a huge letdown, especially when you’re counting on a decent meal during late hours. I’m really unhappy with the quality and hope the restaurant pays more attention to food safety and freshness going forward.

First time trying this place for morning break fast. Gobi paratha was Good Halwa Poori was good too came with Chole..CHOLE was not Good which got my stomach upset. NOTE: I wish i had smelled it before had a bite But Food was tasty very very Authentic.

It's a good to go food place. Food is pre cooked and it's decent. Don't expect it to be next level tasty but it's ok. Prices are cheap and you get a lot of options for Indian food!! I had lunch in under 10 dollars which is pretty affordable according to the locality. They also have sweets and a few options for namkeens. They have indoor seating too, but i guess it's self service.

It’s a long story but through no fault of my own I ended up having two hours to kill in Hell’s Kitchen while waiting for something in the rain. Ducked into this place. Good food, affordable, fast. Everybody minding their own business and eating alone, the perfect restaurant for me 😂

In new York we decided to have breakfast from Desi Deli Indian Restaurant. We ordered the food and picked up the food. For the breakfast we ordered Bhutara Cholaa, Paneer Parantha and Aloo Parantha. Only cholaa that we ordered was edible from the order rest of the food was okay. The Parantha didn't have the required taste. It seems like masala was not prepared well for the parantha. The parantha's definitely need to be improved.

Big fan of their parathas for home delivery. Went to eat in this time and tried a bunch of things on their menu. Good taste, generous portions and very quick. The restroom hygiene needs serious work (hence the reduction in one star)

They use poor quality food. Be careful for your health. Bad cooking is different but using bad food is a different low.
