Desta Ethiopian Kitchen Opens on Clifton Road, Across from the CDC - Eater Atlanta

"Desta Ethiopian Kitchen’s second location is open at Emory Point, across from the CDC on Clifton Road, according to their social media channels. The restaurant announced last December it would open in the former BurgerFi space at the complex. There was speculation this would become the new location and owners Ash Nega and Titi Demise would close their restaurant on Briarcliff Road. In operation for 12 years in North Druid Hills, Nega and Demise have turned Desta into one of Atlanta’s premier Ethiopian restaurants, landing it on several “best of” lists over the years. Desta is an Eater Atlanta Essential 38 restaurant. The expansive menu allows diners to build their own meals, like the tib platters with a choice of meat, bread (get the injera,) and sides such as tomato fitfit, as well as several vegan and vegetarian dishes." - Beth McKibben
