1. Attempted Overcharge at Check-in||Upon arrival on July 22nd, we clearly stated at reception that we wished to settle our outstanding balance immediately. We had already paid €503 via your website at the time of booking, and the remaining amount was €2,670 + tax.||
However, the receptionist initially entered €2,970, approximately €250 more than the correct amount. Only after I questioned the amount did he silently correct it on the card machine, without offering any explanation or apology. This felt like a clear attempt to overcharge us.||||2. Marco Carola Event – Unsafe and Unacceptable Conditions||On Thursday evening, we attended the Marco Carola event, which was included with our stay. However, the experience was extremely disappointing and frankly dangerous.
The venue was overcrowded to the point where movement was impossible, raising serious safety concerns. As hotel guests, we were allowed to stand only behind a tree near the pool, with no view and very poor sound.||||3. Unacceptable Service Charge Attempt on Check-out||During check-out, we were asked to settle a room service bill of €61, which was correct. However, the receptionist then attempted to charge an additional 10% “tip” on the full accommodation price – around €350.
When we refused, he casually responded that it was "optional" and we could skip it. This again felt like another shady attempt to exploit guests financially.||||4. Unauthorized Post Check-out Charge of €174||Upon returning home, I noticed an unauthorized charge of €174 on my credit card, made after check-out.
We were told a €500 deposit was held for potential minibar charges. We consumed 4 bottles of water and 1 bag of chips– roughly €42 in total. We photographed the minibar upon arrival and departure to document this. There is no justification for a €174 charge, and no invoice or breakdown was sent to explain this transaction. We did not get refund.
