Probably the biggest letdown in our Tokyo experience. For a themed bar, it's just so average. They have a few guns on the walls, and are screening an epiosde of US reality show Cheaters, and they offer a menu of things like fingerprinting etc, which are only available if the bar isn't too busy. They have a table charge of 1,000¥, plus you are expected to order food, none of which looked delish. The whole place is incredibly cheesy and cheap. I'd go as far as to say it's creepy. We read online that the staff spoke english as well, and part of the appeal was to chat to a detective about local investigations and their work, but their English was poor to non-existent, so if you dont speak Japanese it's not for you. If you're not already in Ikebukuro, it's definitely not worth making the trek there. But if you are there, the cocktail was merely okay. Considering the non negotiable table charge and not-listed taxes, it was 3,780¥ for two cocktails. And they were kind enough to not force us to order the food, even though the menu was aggressively clear that all people should have one dish. 1,000¥ for bar nuts. Hmm.
