I booked the food truck to cater our ‘Pit Stop Party’ event at our classic car restoration shop for 200 people. Lori was extremely friendly, easy to deal with, and on top of everything. They showed up when expected, had the food ready in no time. The guys operating the truck were friendly and professional, and worked nonstop for the entire length of the event through the heat! Our guests LOVED the food. The brisket was especially amazing, and portions were generous. We are looking forward to booking them again for 2026!

Some of the best brisket I've ever had - we keep going back, it's well worth the 1 hr drive for us. Service is top notch, food is excellent, we've used Detroit BBQ now 3 times for various parties (grad parties, etc) - and the brisket is ALWAYS the first thing to go! Their BBQ sauce is amazing as well.

We had Detroit Bbq Company food truck today. The food was excellent. I loved the mac and cheese and the guys loved the kielbasa. They were fast and efficient. They served 110 people in like 30 minutes. Definitely using these guys again. I also heard they do catering. The representatives were great and helpful. Friendly couple. I have never had a food truck the guys did not complain about. This one they all loved.

We had Detroit BBQ Company cater our wedding and everything was amazing! The staff was quick, polite and attentive. The food was 10/10, every dish they had to offer was great. We are still getting compliments on how good the food was months later. We would highly recommend this place!

They were at the Funky Ferndale Art Fair- absolutely amazing food! I had friends in town, from Cincinnati Ohio, for the fair and they made them a little sampler box! My friends loved LOVED the pulled pork, chicken, and the bacon as well as their bbq sauce! All their employees were SUPER friendly and helpful! LOVE their BBQ!!

Lori was great to deal with! Rodney showed up well before they were scheduled to, and was very professional throughout the 4 hours he was at our grad party! Food was AWESOME! Ribs, sausage, pulled pork and chicken, Mac and cheese, pit beans, corn bread, cookies, and brownies! Highly recommend!

Hands down great food! Detroit BBQ was conveniently serving food for a corporate event for a Winter Services open house. Extremely friendly, food was fresh and warm. Mac and cheese was great!

Detroit BBQ catered my wedding 2 months ago, and although this is way overdue I’m writing this review because I am still in awe at their high standard of service, professionalism, and overall quality. I had 3 trucks in total at my wedding and I didn’t hire a wedding coordinator, so for the months leading up to the event I was working very intimately with the manager and owner of Detroit BBQ. I basically had her on speed dial and she was one of the most pleasant, supportive, and helpful people I had the joy of working with throughout the entire process. When the truck arrived, the other owner quickly came and introduced himself, letting us know that they were ready for service whenever we were. They were the most popular truck there and they were able to feed close to 100 people with impressive speed. No one was left waiting too long, no one was hungry, and everyone RAVED about the quality of the food. I truly cannot say enough good things about Detroit BBQ. They’re wonderfully kind people who know their shit in the kitchen. My husband and I look forward to supporting this truck for years to come.
