We were very impressed with the food, service and ambiance. The burger and fish and chips were excellent. The illumination was perfect! Very clean restaurant including the bathroom. We will come back for sure. Becky, our waitress is so nice and friendly. We like this place so much that we came back next day. Keep it up!

Food was decent, but it was definitely a frozen patty out of a box. We didn’t expect that out of a place that mentions burger right in their name. Shouldn’t be that hard to get some fresh burger in there and Patty the burgers yourself. Also the burger did not come with a stamped bun. Server was very good.

They are using frozen patties. I am pretty sure of it. When you take the first bite, you get full the ingredients but also the patty just taste plain and boring. Tt has no seasoning, some salt and pepper and maybe some garlic powder sprinkle on the beef patty will be much better. They did good on rest of the ingredients, toasted soft buns, fresh veggies, melted cheese, but the beef is a big letdown. Price probably goes up if they use fresh beef patties but I rather pay more for a better burger.

The food was good but not as great as I would have thought for a place called a burger bar. But there was nothing wrong with it. The service was okay but it was a very busy night so they get a pass. Overall, fine experience seems like a decent place

Drove 40 minutes for this place, but it is worth the trip The atmosphere was great ... chicken wings were crispy . The chili dog was also good. Really love their chili soup in house made not like other can chill these coney place served I don't really eat burgers regularly, but when I crave for one, i only eat restaurant style burgers, not fast food .it good to treat yourself, not those garbage fast food junk Their burgers were the best burgers i had in long-time In-house made patty i think it not over season like store brought or fast food joint patty Yes, it is pricey, but it made to order notlike fast food places salty and greasy . Still, the best burger I have ever had. Finally decided to try something else. The shrimp taco is a tasty treat. Not a a tiny street taco either. I think two of them could be a meal (with a side). A little spicy.

I ate there on 02/19/24. Overall a good experience. Stopped in with the family. It’s well lighted , sports bar/restaurant. Food was good, served hot. The fries, waffle fries, and tots were great. I had the 313 BBQ burger, good flavor. My only issue is we ordered medium well the burgers came medium, it wasn’t a deal breaker and we enjoyed our food. Looking forward to visiting again.

Great burger and fries. I'd been meaning to check this spot out for a while now. Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. I got the masonic. Great bun, crispy bacon, strong blue cheese, a solid 1/2 lb patty and all the fixings that go with a burger. Stefani was spot on and did a terrific job waiting on me. Pack at lunch with that local bar vibe. Glad i stopped in.

I stopped in on 07/23/2025 at around 5pm. I was by myself so I took a seat at the bar. After perusing the menu I went with the "Broadway" for $16, a 1/2 pound Angus beef patty topped with corned beef, Swiss cheese, mushrooms and "everything else". I cut the burger in half and tucked in. It was FLAVORFUL & JUICY. The corned beef and Angus were a carnivores DELIGHT. The toppings all complimented each other very well. I finished one half and then worked on the second. The bun held up until the very end, and did not become a soggy mess. The fries were WONDERFUL and I took my time dipping them in the ketchup. Service was attentive and courteous. Ambiance is that of a bar with GOOD bar food. I SHALL RETURN to try other variations on the burger theme. Restroom was clean and odorless.

Dropped in on Sunday. The sign said wait to be seated so stood and waited until out to be waitress was done bs I g with a boyfriend ?? We had two Royale burgers with crispy fries both were excellent. My son had th cod fish was a very small portion for $16 bucks but he said it tasted ok. He would not get fish again but the hamburgers are a solid 10

Stopped by this location late last night really enjoyed my time watching basketball and eating a so-called Wagyu burger Everything was absolutely delicious. The waffle fries. I'm in love with. The atmosphere was a great all-around experience just to chill and hang out to drink a beer eat a burger whatever it may be I enjoyed my time I'll be definitely... we had a great dinner for a little under 38$.

It's a hamburger joint, but they are solid burgers. Unique, high quality. I got the Chicken Salad and it was very good. Solid community hamburger place

Fast service and great burgers. There're huge and delicious, and branded with Detroit burger bar's name on it. You get a choice or tater tot's, waffle fries, and sweet potato fries at no up charge which is awesome. Plenty of TVs for sports watching and they have a fairly large patio.

Typical bar food. Burgers are so good. Restaurant isn't always clean, food on tables. Service is normal. Will come back if in the area!

Wow. Our first time here and we were greeted so nicely and given a nice high-top table. My Lemon Drop Martini was well made and nicely presented, and my husband appreciated the nice selection of beers. Our burgers were great. Unlike most bar burgers, you could taste the beef (which was perfectly cooked, tasted very fresh and unlike many bar burgers, not a generic flavor overwhelmed by the toppings). The burger itself reminded me of the ones a Miller Bar in Dearborn, when it was in its heyday. Tuesday night is 50% of many of the burgers (including the ones we had), but even before the discount the tab was very reasonable for the quality of the food. (Service was also very good!) We will be back.

I have to admit , I made a mistake. I did not order a burger! I ordered wing dings because I thought my co-worker would order a burger. They ordered wing dings as well.... So my review is about the wing dings not the BURGERS..... They were just OK. I will have to go back and try the burgers....LoL!!!!

This food is great! The service even or better. But the clientele has become ghetto. No one here wants to listen to your cell phones. Go back to your hood.

Detroit Burger Bar offers great value without compromising on taste. Their takeout burgers are fantastic, and I really love this place for a delicious meal on the go.

We ordered the fish and chips as a carry out and it was really good. The fish was very tasty and the fries surprisingly crisp for a carry out. We'll be back.

Ambiance is your typical hole in the wall bar vibe. Service is usually good. As far as food goes, you gotta get those fish tacos. They are SOOOOO good. Sometimes I switch it up and I'll get an order of fried pickles or I'll get a chicken salad. My boyfriend always orders a burger and it always looks picture perfect.

I just ordered three meals from here about and hour ago. The food was actually pretty good, unfortunately the fries came with HAIR! When I called to tell them about it, the person who answered RUDELY told me that there's only three blondes there. I'm pretty sure the delivery person didn't meticulously open the bag, pull out some random hair and mix it in with the food. The lack of concern and accountability is unacceptable. Telling me to take it with DoorDash doesn't negate the fact that I spent $38 and ended up someone's HAIR in my mouth. This isn't how customer retention works.

They have an amazing selection of excellent burgers and sandwiches. Prices are quite reasonable and the service is fantastic. Beer is relatively inexpensive compared to your typical bar. There are televisions everywhere so this is a fantastic place to go to watch a game with friends. I think that I could sit in this place all day. Ambiance is great. Not sure about bringing kids because the focus is a bar.

Very good service and the food is delicious. I enjoyed the burger and chicken sandwich was good. My drink which was a margarita was not flat tasting haha. The music choice was cool as well. Will be back for the wraps.

Stopped in for an impromptu date night. Really like this place. It's very relaxed and friendly. Music was a tad loud but we are in our late 40's/early 50's so that could be chalked up to our age. Restrooms were very clean. Hubby decided on the Cadillac and he loved it. It was cooked medium rare just the way he liked it. It was messy and drippy, just like you want a burger to be. Waffle fries were crisp and hot. I had a Cuban panini that wasn't really panini-like. It was a Cuban-like sandwich on a slightly flattened bun. It did have a generous bit of avocado on it, which is like gold these days. It was tasty enough, but the onion rings were the star of the show. Service was friendly and helpful. Our server was Krista and she not only knows the food but also has a sense of humor, which was nice for a couple of middle-aged fogies like us. Food and beers came very quickly, we didn't have to wait much at all. We will be back when we are up for hubby trying the I-94 and getting the t-shirt.

ZERO OUT OF 10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Should've checked order before i left!! I RESEARCHED THIS PLACE AND ASSUMED IT TO BE DELICIOUS! well it was not! BURGERS WAS SOOO DRY! I ordered "THE 313" with no onion rings and waffle fries.I GOT a dry burger with a dab of bbq sauce, onion and tomatoes (that doesn't even suppose to come on that burger) with a order of burned onion rings on the side, I WANTED WAFFLE FRIES and it was big and extremely dry

First time here and it was great! Liz our waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. She suggested the Michigan Avenue burger and it was delicious! Juicy and cooked medium well as requested. It was good from beginning to end. I also found out about their brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10-2pm. All you can eat for 12.00, kids 5.00. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas are extra but sounds very good! So, if you're into sports, there are plenty of TVs with all games on. As a matter of fact, the bar was crowded with watchers! If you're ever in the area, stop by for a bite to eat. Oh, and bring your appetite. I came back for brunch and it was pretty good.

In an industrial part of 8 Mile on the Farmington Hills/Livonia border. Large private lot. They have a small patio area fenced in the back. Inside is a long bar on one wall and a large slightly dark room with high and low tables. They have burgers and the usual pub food and apps. Okay beer selection. It looks like the beer specials are macros. The food is pretty good. Like many places lately they have a few burgers with messy topping. The prices are a little high. They have a 4-6 happy hour with have price apps. The staff was fast and polite.

The food and drinks came out fast. The waitress was really nice. The drinks weren't very strong but they tasted good. l tried the 8 Mile Wrap and the Kobe burger. The wrap tasted great, it could have been a little bigger though. The Kobe burger was a little disappointing. It was like the chef thought the toppings would season the meat, instead of just adding a touch of salt and pepper to the meat itself. Lastly, I loved the decor and theme of everything Detroit, I just wish it was in Detroit :(.

today I went on my lunch and I love the burgers and the kindness of the waitress but the 1 I had today wasn't it. I told her how I wanted my food made. My food came fries was cold she change my fries for some more my burger had sauce on it that i didn't ask for I had her come back to show her then she got upset and said she not a mind reader that was rude of her to be serving the public never again should a customer deal with that I still paid left a tip and the food

This is a nice little restaurant with a good variety of burgers and sandwiches to choose from. The burger buns are all branded with the restaurant's logo, which I thought was really cool. I ordered the "313" burger, which comes with a couple onion rings, bacon, cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion. It also comes with your choice of potato: regular fries, waffle fries, or tater tots - I got the waffle fries. The burger was juicy and flavorful, without being overly salty. Yes, it was a bit greasy with the bacon and onion rings inside, but not to the point where I felt sick and gross after eating it. A couple nit picky things: like the vast majority of restaurants I've been to, they cook the meat one level above what you ask for - I asked for medium rare, and it came back medium, if not medium well. It wasn't a huge deal though, because as I said above, it was still juicy. As for the fries, I prefer more of a crispy texture (and soft on the inside), but these were pretty crunchy. They were still good, though. I also wish there were options to have 1/4 or 1/3 lb patties...they only come in 1/2 lb, which is a lot of meat (and calories). If you're craving a solid burger, I recommend coming here and trying one of the many different, unique options they have!

Walked in on a Sunday for an impromptu date night with my husband. Promptly sat. The waitress was quick to get our drink order. The menu is large and includes something for everyone. I got sliders with onion rings. My husband got a chicken sandwich and fries. Food came out within 15 minutes and was piping hot! Once it cooled off, it was delicious. Highly recommend coming here for a bar atmosphere and good bar food!

Highly recommend Detroit Burger Bar. The food is always delicious and the service is friendly. My favorite burger is the Broadway. Never had an issue or any complaints. They know what they are doing...just wish they had their weekend breakfast buffet again.

My meal was delicious. My server was attentive. Plenty of screens for watching all of the sports. They have a pretty decent drink selection. Ample space with a combination of seating styles. I could definitely settle in and watch a game or three there.

First burger wasn't medium well, Stephanie happily corrected it and is was a pleasure getting carry outs. The burger was excellent with some nice crispy fries. I will definitely be back!

Much better than my experience at the Clawson location. Came in for lunch and sat at the bar, service was good and food came out on time. Southwest burger was nice and cooked medium as ordered. Onion rings were crisp and good also. If I am in the area again this is worth the stop.

The food was fair and the service was terrible. They barely earned the one star I gave them. People that were seated well after us were waited on and served first. There are a lot better places to get a burger and a couple of beers.

Another dining experience ruined by the Covid 19 pandemic. Went with the hope of dining Al fresco on 10/13 but the patio was closed because of low staffing, dined inside instead. I chose the Southwest burger, it was cooked just as ordered, but it wasn't very tasty, or a memorable experience, and they didn't have any Potato Skins, bummer!!! I'm guessing that's also Covid 19 related, thus I wasn't in the mood to take pictures. The french fries and the beers were great! They have numerous other burgers on the menu so I'll have to return and keep trying different burgers until I experience the joy that I've heard expressed by others patron. Kudos the our waitress Krista, she worked hard to make the visit enjoyable.

Great burger joint that does everything right in what you'd expect from a sports-bar establishment. Great burgers and sandwiches. My son had the Southwestern and loved it; I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich (sub tater tots) nd my wife had the Fish Tacos. Appetizers are reasonably priced and the serving sizes generous. They are always having a special (Tuesday nights burgers are half-price!) and specials on drafts and craft beers are to be found on almost any visit. [First time in a long time that I had a Fried Chicken Sandwich that was actually "crispy." Bravo! This place remains on my top-five list for places to go at the last minute when you want good comfort food at reasonable prices.

Really miss the weekend Brunch Buffet! My friends and family will ask me if they started doing it again. We had a large group the last time we went. No other brunch buffet came close.

Don't go too fast or you'll drive right by this haven of tasty burgers. It wasn't crowded when we got there but it was busy. Our burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries were crisp. Service was prompt with just enough attention to you. Going back for more. See you there. (Dear Detroit Burger Bar, please make sure I always get a seat.)

I love going on Tuesdays, it's half off burgers. Made to your liking and very delicious. The sides are awesome, cap that off with your favorite draft and BAM! A great night out! Get there early it does get busy!

Great food! Menu selection was great. And the daily drink deals were generous. Prices were fair compared to a lot of places lately.

Burger with pulled pork and onion straws was amazing. Great fries too. Friendly fast server. Lots of tvs with the game on.

This is one of our favorite local spots. We especially like Tuesdays where several menu items are 1/2 off with a purchase of a drink-- you simply cannot beat those prices! A few of our favorites are the 313 Burger and the Eight Mile Wrap--with waffle fries, of course! The appetizers are great too! We especially like the Appetizer Sampler. One thing we've noticed is that while the burgers are great, sometimes the add ons are cold. They offer a variety of special burgers and toppings such as onion rings on your burger and we've gotten a hit burger with cold, stale onion rings a few times. Nothing major but a detail we noted. It get's busy on Tuesdays and weekends, and the parking lot fills up quickly! Definitely a fun spot with good food and a nice atmosphere.

Went to dinner here Saturday night and the place was alright. I had a hard time finding it with navigation, and drove by it because it blended in with the rest of the buildings. Walking in, the place is well decorated, but definitely has a dark bar feel to it. We took our seats and the waitress came over to take our order. Right out of the gate, I will say they seem to have a great drink selection and the prices seem to be spot on. My date went with some kind of mixed drink that had honey whiskey (I think) in it. I tried some and it was really good. Went down a little to well, actually. LOL. I didn't order anything to drink from the bar since I didn't really feel like it. We started out with the spinach dip, which we both loved! Holy goodness, it was better then some of the other places I've been too. Plus, the chips that came with it were awesome as well. I can't remember what my date ordered, but I went with the slider plate since I wasn't starving for a huge plate of food. The sliders were okay, but nothing special. They were actually kind of bland. I didn't finish all of them for two reasons. First, I ate to much spinach dip. Secondly, they weren't all that great. If I go back, I would probably try something else. Service here was good, and we were adequately taken care of. The place started to get loud and a man was setting up speakers and some other stuff right next to our table. We asked him if he was a karaoke person, and he said no he was trivia. We didn't want to stick around for that, so we left.

Detroit Burger Bar is one of my team's new lunch stops since it's close to our office. On Tuesdays, they have half off burgers with the purchase of a drink! Lunch comes to ~$8 which is a good deal. Their burgers are sizable and their waffle fries are great. The only feedback i would give is that the buns are not toasted which leads to them becoming soggy. I always leave super full. The Michigan Ave (burger with pulled pork) is quite good. The BBQ meat was especially tender and the sauce was tasty. Two of my coworkers have tried the I-94 burger (2 LB burger challenge) and it was crazy. They give you 4x 1/2 lb patties loaded with cheese. If you win you get your photo on the wall and a Detroit Burger Bar shirt!

Pleasantly surprised with this newer addition to the area. We've liked most everything we have tried - some stand outs are the Warren burger (yummy green olives), fried pickle app (some of the best we've had - spears with a thicker tempura-like batter), the fish and onion rings. Nachos are big! Ken didn't love their Philly (ask for Italian dressing if you still want this sandwich). Every time we've been there, both weekend and weekday evenings, they've been busy. You may wait on the weekends. Nice craft beer list, many local. Casual interior. Long bar. Plenty of TVs. Large parking lot.

Must be they are lacking help, 25 minute wait and no one even came our way, no acknowledgement so we left, a shame we were looking forward to one of there burgers.
