Detroit History Tours

We had a fascinating evening with a group of fellow spooky history fans, all aboard the Historically Haunted Detroit bus! It was truly a delightful experience creeping around the aging fortress (among other places), while darkness settled in and the chill of October made us all move in a little closer to each other to listen! Thanks for a wonderful evening, we will be back!

Was up visiting a friend and we decided to do the Haunted Ghost Tour. Was a lot of fun, I enjoyed the corny jokes and the locations were interesting. Very much recommend if you enjoy local history.

This is such a great group of people. Ww had a fantastic time on our Haunted Detroit tour. Jeff was an excellent historian. We've tried other tours and they fail miserably in comparison. We've been coming here for years and will continue to come back.

Bailey was an incredible and energetic tour guide to my industry association group. As a person who has come to Detroit for much of my life… but (sadly) has rarely “looked up,” my mind was blown with the amount of history and art we learned about in just a few short hours with Bailey. Enjoyable afternoon in the city today! Beautiful day for a luxury coach tour of the fine architectural gems that adorn the City of Detroit. In the early 1900’s the growing boom of auto manufacturing and new business ventures brought creative vision by Albert Kahn and his team of designers In the commercial building industry. We were introduced to many areas of Detroit that have magnificent structural architecture, works of art themselves,, and areas I have never visited before. Having no connection to architecture, but a deep interest in the history of our region, it was most enjoyable afternoon. Great respect for our very knowledgeable tour guide who made the tour fun and interesting at every corner!! Thank you all!!

We had an absolutely amazing time on our Detroit History Tour of Belle Isle and Michigan Central Station! From start to finish, it was engaging, educational, and so well-executed. Our group left with a newfound appreciation for the city’s rich past and the exciting transformation happening right now. Belle Isle was stunning — the stories behind the architecture, landmarks, and hidden corners were brought to life by our guide’s passion and knowledge. Standing inside the historic Michigan Central Station was truly unforgettable. It’s one thing to read about Detroit’s legacy, but it’s another to walk through it and feel it. Our guide struck the perfect balance between fun and informative, and they tailored the experience beautifully for our group. Everyone walked away talking about how inspired they felt. The tour was seamless, well-paced, and full of unexpected gems. Highly recommend this to groups looking to do something meaningful, unique, and memorable in Detroit.

Bailey is well-versed in Detroit (and Hamtramck and Highland Park) history, which she brings to life in fun and informative tours. We loved the Crimes and Misdemeanors tour, learning much about prohibition and the gang activities which grew from it. We also enjoyed stepping up to the bar at Bumbo’s and Abick’s; we learned some great history about the local bars. Very comfortable bus tour. Ideal for a great date night or fun with a group of friends. Well worth the price, which was reasonable.
