I was really excited to finally enjoy pepperoni again since this place offers halal pizzas. That excitement quickly turned into disappointment with my recent order. I purchased two pizzas yesterday for my family, and unfortunately, the quality was far below what I expected.
The toppings were minimal but tasty… but the crust was extremely tough so much so that it was difficult to even bite through. Hoping to salvage the experience, I reheated a slice in the air fryer the next day (something I often do with Jet’s pizza). Instead, the texture and taste reminded me of school cafeteria pizza, which was not at all what I anticipated.
My entire family shared the same reaction. Everyone complained about the taste and texture, and the pizzas went mostly untouched. At nearly $30, it was very frustrating to see so much food end up in the trash.
I don’t know if the decline in quality is due to rising costs, a change in suppliers, or something else, but whatever the reason, the end result was disappointing. I had truly looked forward to supporting this place and enjoying their halal options, but after this experience, I’m hesitant to return. Food should bring joy and comfort, not frustration, especially at this price point.
