Stopped in by chance and had a fantastic meal at a great spot. We ordered the Margherita pizza, garlic knots, and pistachio pesto pasta — everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed with a nice bar vibe, and the service was very friendly. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before a Michigan football games. Service was quick and attentive. I’d have liked to try a conventional pizza but my kids wanted to try their more unique combinations and so we got the pickle and buffalo pizzas. The Buffalo pizza had homemade buffalo sauce (delicious) and tons of blue cheese. It was delicious! The Pickle pizza may have been even better. I don’t recall what all it had on it, but it was really good! The crust was also crunchy and a good amount of cheese as well. This will be a new staple for us when we visit Ann Arbor.

Great for a quick slice of pizza! Stopped here after visiting the hands on museum. Hot box on the counter had 2-3 trays with slices ready. Server helped ring me up at the bar for a few slices and package individually in to go containers. The pepperoni pizza was great. Good chew on the dough, tasty red sauce that blended perfect with cheese/pepperoni oils. It’s a drive for me but I would return.

What an amazing experience! This was our first visit and we were incredibly impressed. Our server was Sol. She was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Our order included bruchetta, pistachio pesto pasta, veggie pizza, and garlic knots. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The in house made sangria is the best we have tasted anywhere. We were also given a private tour of the downstairs speak easy. The atmosphere is so hip and entertaining. A full cigar bar is also available. We learned that the site bakes all breads and doughs fresh, too. I highly recommend adding this to your must visit list.

My coworkers raved about this place, and now I understand why. I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner. I simply didn’t believe there would be anything “Detroit” about it. I stand corrected. The whole menu looks delicious but if comes even remotely close to how good this pickle pizza is, I’m never going anywhere else for my break again. I also noticed that they have lunch specials that are priced better than the fast food we’re supposed to be boycotting. I hope this place is packed every day!!!!

Google
Service was GREAT - two waited on us, one brought food and one took are orders - great team. Ordered the sweet heat pizza 4 slice and a caprese salad to split. Salad was great - gone before I even thought about a picture🤷‍♀️ Tried the pizza - was a bit too rich for me but very tasty, will try others next time. Very flavorful with a nice bite. Tastefully decorated smaller restaurant - will be back for sure! Waitress was nice and checked on us often - very nice evening and then visited the speakeasy in the basement thru the secret passage:) 👍🏼👍🏼

I come here for lunch. The food is good and very reasonable, especially the lunch menu. The staff is nice & overall satisfied withthr service.

Google
My original review was great for this place. But after many months of ordering, I am not pleased. Every single time we order from here, our pizza comes out different. This time, a tbsp of sauce was just plopped on top of the toppings on the end of each piece. The prices also differ for placing an online order vs. calling to place an order. Also, despite living a 4 minute walk/one block from the restaurant, our pizza always comes lukewarm, if not cold. Way too inconsistent and will not be coming back anymore

Yelp
Good service and good food. The ambiance upstairs is bright and airy, but the downstairs cocktail lounge and cigar bar is a more dimly lit, chill bar. Pretty cool place, would come here again!

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place because the Mexican restaurant where I planned to eat lunch a couple of doors down was closed for maintenance. The doors were open so I walked right in. I was a little worried at first. It was lunch time rush on a Friday and there were only three patrons inside. It was a last minute resort and the aroma of pizza smelled good so I decided to stay. I'm not sure what the business model is here, but they may have lowballed themselves. I ordered a nonalcoholic drink ($3) and two slices of pepperoni pizza ($3/each). While nothing was spectacular, only average, the prices could scare customers into thinking the quality is not good. I was just trying to understand why this place was nearly empty at that time of day. Dessert is the most important part of the meal for me and they were extremely lacking. They didn't have a physical dessert menu, but tiramisu and carrot cake were the only options. Not the best way to entice customers to spend more. The staff were very friendly, though one was overly friendly and it was odd to me. Similar to how a salesman anticipates your response to a question and talks too fast to allow even a second to comprehend the response. I think he truly cared how the food and my experience was going, but it felt forced. To ask while I was mid-bite was strange as well. Usually the best time to ask is when I'm finished eating or if I'm not eating the food at all. I read a few reviews after finishing my meal and it seems this place recently opened about one week ago. I just assumed it had been opened for a while from the looks of the decor the employee to customer ratio. It felt like a chain restaurant rather than an actual one. Some work needs to be done on the representation of Detroit Pizza Pub, especially with so many competitors in the vicinity.

Yelp
Great experience! We really enjoyed our food and even though there was a bump or two in the process they were so kind and took great care of us. Love the atmosphere - casual but you could come dressy too. The Sweet Heat is packed full with peppers and the pesto was tasty! Buffalo wings were crispy and their buffalo sauce was really great. We'll be back!

Yelp
great service attentive bartender great all the way around really good selection of draft beers and they even have a cigar lounge in the basement with a whole different vibe we will be back

Yelp
Pizza is good and fast. If I worked in the area I think this would be in my rotation. There are other better pizza options I would go to first if you were ordering to go. Although I'm a Buddy's snob with Detroit pizza, so maybe take that into account.

Yelp
I can't review because I'm not going there until someone picks up the phone. All I want to know is do they have alcohol served there. I see they have drinks but I want to know specifically are these premade. I called and hung up after four minutes the first time, the second time, seven minutes no response. Don't put a number out there if you're not going to have someone pick up the phone.

Yelp
Perfect place to come for a University of Michigan or Lions game. They have a heavy pour and the best Detroit style pizza in Ann Arbor. My favorite is the pickle pizza. My fiancé and I have come here regularly and have had exceptional service and enjoyed a great atmosphere.

Yelp
Stopped by for the soft opening. The concept is executed well - a neighborhood bar with good, Detroit style pizza, among other menu options. Servers are friendly and welcoming - even amidst the craziness of opening day. Good, crispy crust on the deep dish square pizza. Great house blend of cheese, fresh tomato basil sauce, and a good mix of toppings. This place has a vibe that goes from chatting at the bar to date night. Definitely give it a try.

Yelp
Taste gross but the place looks nice the sweet heat pizza is probably the weirdest tasting pizza I have ever tasted 2/10 would not try again

Yelp
Great tasting food. If you are a local pizza enthusiast, I would put the style somewhere between Jet's and Buddy's but their topping choices are completely original. I've gone for lunch a few times and have always been greeted by friendly staff as soon as I've walked in and haven't had to wait long for my food to be ready. It is definitely going to be in my permanent rotation.

Sarah C.

Yelp
So disappointed with this place. The pizza was meh at best. The crust was too soft and the sauce was very bland. The Caesar salad was nothing special. I definitely won't waste time at here again. Sad.

Scott M.

Yelp
The lunch pizza special-- a slice and a side--is a good deal, especially if you can get a fresh slice or two. Though you may have limited topping choices. The minestrone soup is okay. Service may be uneven. The bartender/waiter gave a lot more attention to some customers than others.

Ray C.

Yelp
There is a lot of better options for pizza in Ann Arbor. This is not good pizza. It's very overpriced for low quality.

Dominic S.

Yelp
Everyone here is so nice leaving an inviting atmosphere. The tap list is a mile long, the happy hour deals are great, and you can't go wrong with any of the food. What else is there to ask for

Nancy B.

Yelp
Honestly THE BEST pizza I've ever had. Their sauce and cheese are delicious and, toppings were very generous and fresh. The crust was crispy but not dry, perfectly baked. I'm looking very forward to my next visit!
