Detroit Street Café

Such a savior in the mornings, especially for some of these 5:30/6:00a flights on that end of the terminal 😩 Seriously though — it’s basically a Zingerman’s cafe so if you know the quality of Zingerman’s you know that this is good stuff. Not really a spot to drink your coffee but who needs it? You gotta go on the plane anyway… ☕️✈️

The ladies are so nice, always have a smile and a wonderful greeting. And the coffee is great. I work for United and I always send the passengers and workers there.

The servers at 4:30 am on a Wednesday refused to put gloves on when I requested, after they were sweeping touching the kiosk, and taking "medication?" and then picked up our coffee lid with their bare hands. Then one of the girls said straight to my face, "I'm not puttin gloves on for you"... The other girl threw the lid on the floor when my husband said he didn't need it. Garbage service!

I can’t wait until 4am everyday to be the first customer at this cafe place in the airport. The employees are great conversational and engaging people. The coffee is always hot and made fresh right in front of every customer. I even do work from this location because of the atmosphere so I sit and enjoy my first couple of sips before heading out to inspect the terminal.

The service and preparation was absolutely perfect. The barista Monae was very quick and helpful. I will definitely be back and referring to anyone that wants good customer service.

Needed a little morning pick me up so I stopped here for coffee. I ordered the iced mocha with oat milk. The flavor profile of the coffee was mild but flavorful. The mocha addition was perfect not too sweet. The cashier/coffeenista was very polite and friendly. Definitely rate them a 10/10 Well the cup is empty 🤗

I came in and did not know exactly what I wanted but Monae and Faith was very helpful and kind. I definitely will be coming back because of theme and the store was clean. Service was quick. I’m very professional.

Was so happy to find a hot cup of Zingerman’s coffee before my very early morning flight. The two staff working were very kind and helpful.

Enjoyed coming here for coffee, loved the view and wasn't too busy so I was able to get my drink fairly quickly. Definitely would hang out here when I come back to the airport.

The everything bagel they serve is littered with giant rock salt, which is so overbearing and unnecessary on an everything bagel. I was unable to eat the bagel. It was so salty. Remove the rock salt. It's not necessary and add nothing.

This cafe is a mini Zingerman's in Terminal B. What I like is this cafe is rarely busy. The other cafes can be jammed, and there will be no line. What I don't like is it is on the more expensive side (Zingerman's) for standard coffee shop faire. And, there is limited seating.

Just right coffee and real honey in a jar to use. Honey was just behind the register and not out front. Perfect!!

Came in from Texas with my family and stopped at this cafe with these friendly ladies. I'll definitely be back when I visit Michigan

I got my food in a punctual manner while the staff kept a friendly and positive attitude

Had coffee and banana bread. The coffee was good and the banana bread was stale.. They are situated next to Margaritaville

Awesome place. Not sure why it is not as busy as Starbucks. Much better backed goods and same quality of coffee.
