Service was OK. The young lady who took the order was nice enough. I primarily came for the pretendies, and they didn't have it. (The only Vegan option). We waited about 5 minutes for a chicken wrap and fries. The food was not hot nor fresh. The fries were definitely ones that had been sitting. In the photo is the $5 large fry with some being burnt, some soggy, and all cold. On top of that, there's no seating for dine in (not important anyway) nor public restrooms for customers. Highly disappointing.

I’d like to take a moment to recognize Kendall for her outstanding service during our visit. From the moment we placed our order, she was friendly, attentive, and professional. Kendall greeted us with a warm smile and made sure everything was accurate and just the way we wanted. Her positive attitude and patience did not go unnoticed, and she made our experience even more enjoyable. Tenders were burnt to a crisp. ODD they would have served these. Wrap, fries, Mac n cheese was good. Chicken sandwich was average and we probably wont order again from here. Sauce and season on the side.

We ordered 10 buffalo boneless and a chicken sandwich with fries and pop. Their chicken has a really good buttery flavor and the sauces are good! Unfortunately, it was such heavy food for my tummy. If you have stomach problems, limit your portions.

Took away all vegan and vegetarian options. That’s Sad. Very good customer service very clean but I don’t appreciate y’all took away the vegan options. Such as the cauliflower bites. Thumbs down to that. They were good to. Bring them back asap. I’m not going back until.

We love this location! We always have great service, the food is always made fast, it’s always fresh, and is always delicious!

If I had the opportunity to post negative stars, I would. In the “Super Bowl” in Detroit, this establishment had 3 employees working on arguably the busiest night of the year. I had placed my order online at approximately 1:30 PM For a 7:30 PM pick up which was six hours before hand. When I arrived at the location, there were approximately 15 to 20 other people waiting for their orders in the lobby I had waited for a few minutes then asked the employee working the counter if my order had been started. Come to find out that it had not. When I realize there were 20 other people waiting for their food, I was not going to wait another hour for a 100 wing order. I then promptly asked for a refund and to cancel my order so I could go home and watch the football game, which was starting in 10 minutes. This biggest display of incompetence from management down to the employees I’ve seen in my entire life. My recommendation to anybody reading this review would be to never enter the front door of this establishment. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I will never Again, share my business with this awful establishment.

Great place to get some chicken. Great people there and very delicious chicken and the season fries. Would recommend 100% and will be back. It was also our first time there.

I absolutely love Detroit Wing Company! Their Buffalo sauce is my favorite Buffalo sauce out of all the wing places I've tried. I prefer them over both Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings. They will always have a customer in me

I love that they have amazing vegetarian options including a vegetarian chicken sandwich and vegetarian chicken tenders, both of which taste phenomenal! The customer service is always good and my food is always fresh. Establishment looks clean.

They have excellent specials that pop up randomly in their mobile app and emails. The strawberry lemonade is excellent as are the sauces. I came here for the tenders which are a bit hit or miss. The service is always pretty quick and this is definitely a pick up type of place. There's not a place to sit and eat, but you can give them a try in a pinch. It's very casual and carry-out based.

Our food from here has always been delicious. I think these are the best wings in the area. The chicken sandwiches do not come with the sauce on them - you have to pour/dip it yourself. The sides are very tasty. Our order has always been ready when expected. I think there might be a table inside that you could sit at to eat but this definitely isn't a restaurant.

So we kept seeing this business on our way home and decided to give them a go. We placed the order over the phone as we were headed back to the house and the young lady that took our order was very attentive and nice. I didn't go inside to pick up since I wasn't paying but the location was in a good spot. Got to the house to eat and it was not as great as expected. The food was okay. We ordered three different types of wings, Asian Orange, Garlic Parm and Honey Barbecue. We also ordered the Mac and cheese and fries. Some of the wings were cooked a little too hard for my liking and I'm not sure if it was the breading or what, but I didn't like it too much. The Mac and cheese was pretty bland also. The best part was the fries. I'm willing to try them out again. Maybe it was just a one off. Will update at a later time.

The food was terrible and we remembered why we hadn't been back here since the first time years ago. Chicken was dry, corn and Mac and cheese were disgusting like they were a few days old. Forgot our Mac initially and had to go back and get it, which wasn't at all worth it. They should be ashamed. Never going back!

Our first order looked like the wing dings were eaten off of them and returned. The replacement order was unedible and dry to the bone. I would never order from here again if it was the only place open. This was on Sunday, October 15, 2023 $35.00 dollars wasted for nothimg

The quality of the food has gone down tremendously, from when it first opened, I'd rather make my chicken and other food at home, The customers are being talked about in front of your faces as they're waiting on their food and they drown their food in oil. You can definitely tell the quality of the food by who is working that day. It sucks that it is like that, but that's how it is.

LOVE the food and the service. Prices are now so high that I don't visit DWC anymore.

We were craving some boneless wings with their Parmesan garlic sauce. Have a nice variety of items to eat for dinner late. They ask for your phone number and your name for the order. I couldn't decide what I wanted for a second sauce, but I have a 24 piece boneless wings. It comes with 4 sauces. I selected the honey barbecue, Parmesan garlic, habanero ranch in the lemon pepper. Every sauce here is made in house. My husband likes their wings. This will be my first time trying them. The phone line to order took a bit. Total is $14.30, they told me it would take 35-40 minutes, that's a bit of time. What to do while I wait for so long. Maybe hit the English gardens since it's nearby. They texted me as soon as the food was complete, took about 25 minutes. Had the food in hand quickly. I can smell the garlic parmesan sauce from the carry out container. It smells good. The honey barbecue and the garlic Parmesan sauces are probably the better of the four. The lemon pepper has an intensely lemony flavor that wasn't what I expected, it made me pucker and the habanero ranch is extremely salty. The boneless wings here are almost chicken tender sizes; they are quite big for boneless wings. The meat is slightly dry. The dry rubs are too intense and overly seasoned. The honey BBQ and the Parmesan garlic sauces are wet and nicely coated and seasoned. Stick to the wet sauces here. Glad I tried it, the two sauces mentioned were good, the meat isn't bad, the execution is average.

I will say that I was impressed by the food delivery service was able to get the food to me while it was still warm! Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I can say. My wings arrived without the chili lime sauce, which I was looking forward to trying. With no sauce they had zero flavor. I luckily had a bottle of other dipping sauce, but even so, they were just meh. We ordered the brussel sprouts with blue cheese and honey mustard dressing. There was so much dressing that it pooled in the bottom of the container. The sprouts were so overcooked that the no longer had any shape or flavor. And the cheese...I love blue cheese but this was the first time I ever had a dish with too much. It overpowered the flavor of the sprouts. They were also very greasy. Deep frying sprouts is one way to ruin them. My companion ordered boneless Buffalo wings and fries and they enjoyed them. They also didn't eat the sprouts. $50 for two dinners, one which was inedible, was way too much to pay for what we got! It was very disappointing. We won't order from here again.

Used to love this place but the last visit was horrible. The wings weren't cooked all the way and immediately gave me a stomach ache. The fries we cold and soggy and the cornbread muffins were ice cold as if they pulled them directly out of the ice box $20 plus a tip. Wasted

The wings were good!!!!!! And this comes from someone who doesn't care for wings. I got the boneless and bought bone-in for my hair dresser. We both agreed great tasting wings. The cornbread was delicious too. I wouldn't suggest the fries with cheese and bbq sauce ... it was just too much

I am writing this in hopes the food gets better. We love DTW, but the quality has gone down the tube. Last night we had wings that just sat in our chest. Hope the company can get back to better quality or maybe it's just the way it's handled in the back. Eating out is just not the same any more! I am sad to say we probably won't be back. Stay true to your food don't cut corners!

I love DWC. Their tenders are my favorite and I love the Cajun fries. I recently tried their Mac and Cheese and it wasn't bad. The wait time is not always the best, but I live the food.

Always great wings here. Always fast, friendly service. Miss the homemade cheesecake very much, but I can make those myself . Always clean too

This spot is on a corner and busy street. Parking lot is small, it's probably for their employees only. Parking on the street is available in the front of the restaurant but it's usually taken or for those with handicap placard, so you might have to park far or inside the neighborhood. So that's why I minus a star. Called for a pickup order and it didn't take long. 10mins or so. Food is good, the macaroni could use more cheese. Wings is cooked perfectly, doesn't taste dry and is soft to chew and bite through. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting wings to go. I'm not sure if you can dine in, inside looked very small. Price I paid for 12wings and small size macaroni came about $21 not including tip.

To each his own I truly feel that Detroit wing Company is also overrated and overpriced they come in handy if you have a small party and you need 50 wings but seriously think about it 50 wing dings $45.00 It's not Christmas yet but I say bah humbug

Always a good experience when I come here (Eastpointe Location Only), The wings are always cooked to my liking and the sauces are delicious. The staff I've seen there the last couple weeks have been extremely friendly and nice.

Decided to try DWC on my Detroit trip due to the fact that they serve the plant based pretendies. My dad and I got a 12 piece and decided on getting them tossed in the two most hot sauces- calypso and sweet heat. We were quoted a 15 minute wait time and sat on their indoor picnic tables. We got our food in about 12 minutes and took it home. I immediately tried the calypso, which is the hottest sauce they offer. It didn't immediately hit me. Had a good flavor. After the one, it started to kick in just slightly. I was a little disappointed as I thought it would be hotter. After a bit, I tried the sweet heat. Tasted more like a bbq sauce with very subtle heat. Was pretty confused as they're the top two "hottest" and there was a big leap in spice between the two. If you like spice, definitely go with the calypso but don't expect too much. The vegetarian tenders were incredible. The breading and consistency were spot on. They were juicy as well, which most fake chicken tends to miss the mark on. For a 12 piece it was slightly under $30 dollars with a tip. Not the cheapest, but worth trying. If I were to go back, I would get sauce on the side and use my own at home.

Best wings around and they're expanding at an alarming rate since they opened some years ago at their initial location in my hometown. Spend about as much or sometimes less than some of the other wing places in the area and dwc is so much better than anywhere else you'll bother trying wings from. On top of that, their sides are killer regardless of what you order, always fresh and always delicious. Recommend dwc to anyone who asks about best places in the area for wings or good food in general.

Best wings in the area, by far. If you're hesitant to taste the different sauces, don't be. All of them are worth trying. Their appetizers are pretty good, as well. I recommend ordering between 3pm-5pm, as that's when their Happy Hour (half off) takes place.

Holy flavor explosion! Wow, I was super impressed with these wings and the intense flavor. I ordered the boneless garlic Parmesan, traditional lemon pepper, traditional Greek, and dill potato salad. The boneless garlic Parmesan were a big win! The wings themselves were huge and meaty with a generous amount of the yummy sauce. If you are not a big sauce fan, I would ask for it on the side. The dill potato salad was super flavorful as well and now one of my new favorite potato salads. While I liked the traditional wings and they had a ton of flavor, they were a bit too salty for me. My only recommendation would be to add more side options. But if you love wings and unique sauces, definitely check out DWC!

Overpriced and the wings suck. Not their fault. Wings at any restaurant (Coney Island Wingdings excluded) are turrible (that's worse than terrible) Honestly not sure how this place is in business and Hooter's is gone.

My husband and I got the pretendies, fries, poutine, and peach faygo. The poutine okay. The pretendies are way bigger than expected and really good. The Firecracker sauce was just the right amount of spice. The fries were pretty good too! I ordered online and everything was ready on time. I'll go back.

This was my wing choice for our trip to Detroit. We got takeaway as we were tired and the restaurant seemed more geared for takeout anyway. It's very small and has only 2 picnic tables to sit at. It has lots of cool wood decor here and the store despite being small had a unique look to it. The menu is mostly wings as you would expect from the name of the restaurant although they do have some cool side items such as poutine which my wife enjoyed (and I liked my couple of bites as well). In any case let's take a look at my own meal... Whiskey Bbq Wings Buffalo Wings What Is It: The buffalo wings were the standard buffalo sauce that you can get at most wing joints (and bars for that matter. The whiskey bbq sauce was a sweet take with some whiskey flavour included. Presentation: The wings all looked reasonably good and they have a really cool logo as well. Not bad here. 6.5 out of 10 Taste/Final Analysis: The buffalo wings were kind of a stock version of the flavour that you could get at pretty much any wing or even a lot of pizza joints. It had an okayish amount of flavour and a mid grade level of heat. The whiskey bbq was a little more unique and a little better than the buffalo. Like I said in the description it was a sweet or honey bbq flavour with some local whiskey cooked in. Not a bad wing. However when a place is called Detroit Wing Company "not bad" is a little disappointing. I could have chose any wing joint in or around Detroit for my vacation and I came here and when that's the case "not bad" is a real bummer. This seems like it would be a decent place to go for like lunch at work or a quick bite on the way home but not for a tourist destination or special occasion.

The wings & sauce were amazing. Top notch friendly service. (Troy location). Wings were still hot when I got home from a 10 minute drive. My order was expedited quickly. (8/7/2021). We enjoyed every bit of the meal except the potato salad. Dear God, this was the worst potato salad I've ever bought. Raisins could have made it taste better. The potato chunks were huge & raw. These chunks were coated in what appeared to be shelf stable mayonnaise that may or may not have seen dill in their short sad lives. The one chunk of wilted green onion was not enough to save the day with this particular salad. It never stood a chance. Still, the wings were dope. I'll be coming back for them.

I've heard nothing but great things about this place so finally made the trip to try it out. Walking in I was greeted by a really friendly and really pleasant employee. I was actually a bit thrown off on how the overall experience was. Nice to see people being kind in a crazy time we are living in. The wings were really good and the homemade ranch was great. The only suggestion I have is to include wet wipes because it is a messy eat. Will definitely be back.

I appreciated their timely manner in preparing my food and the Uber driver for being precise and early. The prep of the food was just fine, the cornbread is very tasty, I will order that again. I ordered a bone-in wing meal split of two different flavor wings and I liked one flavor; the garlic parmesan, it was pleasing. However, the other half of my wing order was besmirched which was buffalo. I'm not entirely sure how but they gave me boneless wings. I haven't tasted boneless wings since I was force fed, so half of my meal was an unfortunate waste. To add to my disappointment, dismiss from mind were my fries, as they were unaccounted for. Now, I know the fries are but a small blunder however, I look forward to my late night binge of fries, now it has been stripped from me. Sigh*

Stumbled across their 9 mile location almost 4 years ago now. For the past 4 years I've been eating there. The boneless chicken is what I order. It's always sauced up to my liking , crispy, and juicy. Never had a bad experience

With the recent proliferation of Wing take-out places, DWC is the only one that delivers what I want in wings - good sized, meaty wings are nice and crisp. Then there are the sauces. Most of the new places skimp on the heat. Not so here. the classic buffalo sauce is nice and hot, and when you move up the heat scale, there really is an increase in heat. The Spicy Garlic is significantly hotter than the buffalo, and the garlic flavor is also intense. Nice bonus - the bleu cheese dipping sauce is above average - there is bleu cheese flavor throughout, not just in a chunk of the cheese.

Really like the garlic parmesan. They will make them with sauce on the wings or on the side.

We were told that our order would be ready at 5:59. Upon arrival there was a sign that said you would receive a text message when your order was ready. 6:15 and still no text message. About 6:20 finally a text! My husband walked in to grab our order and a girl there asked if she could help him. Yup! Here for a pick up. Name? Eric. Oh you're order will be ready soon, wait over there. A few minutes go by, another girl comes out to ask if my husband needed help. Yup, here for a pick up for Eric. Well, you're order is not ready so you will need to wait outside! Finally at 6:30 my husband got our order. None of the wings we ordered were labeled, but we can assume which was what. The Asian orange sauce was very...orangey. I would not order it again! The habanero ranch, a dry rub, was awesome! Not spicy at all. The buffalo and garlic parm were ok. You're typical sauces. The poutine fries were soggy. I'd give them another shot when we can eat them right away. It seems like maybe they had been sitting for too long waiting on our wings to be cooked. My kids loved the corn bread and chicken tenders. We won't be back to this location, but will try the Chesterfield location instead next time.

I've eaten here tons of times! The food is wonderful! Affordable and great quality. Even when I got it catered for a party. It was a hit and everyone even took leftovers it was so good!

I gave up wings for Lent and I've been ITCHING for a wing scratch so naturally what better place to cure my hunkering other than DWC. Previously I mentioned that they are heavy on the sauce to which the owner/manger agreed and asked me to come back and give them another try with light sauce. First of all I sincerely think he is by far the best businessman out here today! Secondly he didn't have to reach out to me but he did and that goes along way with me. Finally I would have undoubtedly returned to this place once Lent was over and will continue to return repeatedly after today. I walked in and it was apparent that they were in the middle of shift change and it seemed like they were training new hires. I was sooooooo afraid that I'd have a bad experience because that's how it usually goes (you're craving something for awhile and when you finally get it everything goes wrong) NOT today! Everything was PERFECT, great, timely service and food was magnificent! I ordered 24 classic wings 12 Cajun, 6 honey bbq light sauce and 6 Asian orange also light sauce. Typically saying light sauce you would virtually get no sauce but this was a perfect amount. They were fried perfectly too! Also had celery and carrots which I'm pretty skeptical about because I've often found them to not be very clean at OTHER restaurants and you can still see the dirt they grew in on them NOT at DWC they were clean as a whistle. And what I love and respect most about DWC is you'll never get wings with feathers attached. This place is the bomb you have to try them. I will tell you that this is primarily a carry out spot but they do have two large picnic style tables if you so choose to dine in. Enjoy!

The Detroit Wing Company was worth the drive from Auburn Hills to try their magnificent wings! I saw their great reviews and the user photos and knew that this was a place I needed to try! We got there a couple minutes before 3PM to take advantage of their 40% off boneless wings special that they have each day - and unfortunately, our order clocked in at 2:59 on their register so we had to ask for the 40% after we paid after realizing it was not discounted. The staff were more than gracious in allowing us to take part in the deal despite being 60 seconds too early. :) It took 15 minutes for our order. Not much sitting/waiting room at this location - just two picnic tables. I ordered Parmesan Garlic and Butter Cheese wings. They are HUGE! I got 12 of them and I was stuffed before I could even get to my side of macaroni and cheese. The wings are also well-coated which is a definite plus! Usually wing places skimp on the sauce, but not at DWC! The Parmesan Garlic was my favorite of the two. The Butter Cheese was missing something and would probably be better as a topping for their DWC Fries (fries + wing sauce + cheese). Next time I go, I want to try the Creole Parmesan sauce. The macaroni and cheese was alright (had it as leftovers the next day). It's probably best to transport it into a bowl of some kind so you can get all of the cheese sauce on the bottom onto the noodles on top. Great staff, great service, great wings.

Best wings around. I find the quality to be very consistent and the wings are a really good size. Unlike some other places the wings are almost always juicy. I think I've gotten ones that were overcooked one time in the dozens of times I've ordered from here and even then they were only just a little dry. Love the sauce selection too. I'm particularly a fan of the honey chipotle, greek, and cajun.

So we visited DWC during their happy hour so that's 40% off wings. We ordered a 24 boneless in garlic Parmesan, Cajun, buffalo, and whisky BBQ. You get 4 flavor choices with the 24, and more with the 48. My favorite is the whisky BBQ and I enjoyed the buffalo, but it's a little spicy for me. We also order the Poutine and that was delicious! That gravy is so good! If you want to try this place I recommend coming in during their happy hour if you have the chance. For 20 bucks I ate four different flavors of wings and Poutine. I will be back!

I've been to DWC many times so it's time to leave a review, it's a favorite of mine. The boneless wings are always good and hot. There's a large variety of sauces.. I haven't even tried all of them but the parm gar (parmesan garlic) and the cajun rub are both good. The cornbread is also worth trying. Never had a bad experience here.

Poutine. So good. But you have to eat it fresh. It's not the same after it sits, or when you reheat it. If you order from here, you have to try the poutine. (I would also advise getting extra gravy). The wings are also very good. I normally don't do boneless because they're drier than a bone-in wing, but these boneless wings are delicious. The garlic Parmesan sauce (I think that's the one) is delicious. Better then BWW - I know that's what everyone is wondering. The service was great. Called in my order, picked it up, the food was nice and hot and still fresh. Excellent. Highly recommend!

Have been wanting to try the wings for a while now, and I am glad I made the drive on a beautiful Saturday to try this place. Very friendly staff. I was happy with the customer service. Seating is a little awkward inside, but with there only being two of us it worked out. It is more a call in your order, and walk in to pick up, but they had a few picnic tables inside for those people who can't wait to eat their food. I ordered the Asian orange and Wiskey BBQ. The wings were definitely a good size, but not knowing how big they were going to be I ordered 8 (could have been good with 6) . The wings were well coated with the sauce and they were obviously really fresh since we had to wait for our order to come out for about 15 minutes. Asian orange was pretty delicious. The fries were super great! So make sure you get a side of fries as well. I had the DWC fries with Carolina BBQ sauce on them, they were really good. It was a lot of food so you could probably end up sharing it. My husband got a box of plain fries, and those were delicious with no bbq necessary. I hope to make it back soon.
