The food and service was spot on!! Went during the 89 cent wing deal we got 10, and the gameday boneless wing meal all lemon pepper rub and dill fries. Spent $30 after tip for 3 people with extra dill ranch! (highly recommend) The best location! Staff was so sweet and accommodating, food was delicious, price was amazing! (Pic is after eating we couldn't contain ourselves!

First time trying them, and as a long time wing eater, they were impressive. I've been eating wings since the 20 cent days when no one ate them. These tonight were huge, meaty, cooked perfectly and flavored great. Even the flats had plenty of meat. Usually wings are wings, but this was a shocker. Fries are great too. Definitely will be back.

The food was delicious and ready on time! We're visiting from out of state but will order again if we're in the area. We loved all of the sauce choices!

5 stars considering the style of restaurant that it is. Wings are tasty, sauces are delicious, nice people working there, and I love the interior. They did take poutine off the menu, though. Such evil.

Wings, macaroni and cheese and cheese dip, oh my! Fabulous. Divine! Epic! Asian Orange, Whiskey BBQ, and Sweet Heat are my favorites. The boneless chicken wings were meaty, full and good! I bought 48 boneless wings and several sauces. Shook them up at home with Tupperware and ate the mac n cheese cold. It is great cold or hot! Layered thick and which a wonderful crust on top..ate on it for 3 days! Added a little milk to soften it up. The chips that come with the chicken cheese dip were thick, brown and like mini bread leaves baked and crisp. Snagged some Faygo Rock N Rye's and went home to devour my takeout with family. This meal lasted 3 days! The tastes of the sauces are vibrant, distinct and amazing! Only 4 of these boneless wings with some mac n cheese will fill most people up. I highly recommend this place for wings! Service was excellent and fast when I popped in for takeout. Sat at a wooden picnic table while I waited. Fantastic service and just an all around epic experience.

The wings are cooked hard, the way I like them and the sauce is really good however, there's no seasoning on the wings.

Delicious, as usual! Boneless were well sauced, and cooked perfectly! Traditionals were saucy, but not sloppy. Chicken sandwiches looked like the menu picture, almost too pretty to eat, but not quite. The folks who ordered them gave them THUMBS UP! Complaint: bring back poutine!

I had a great experience with receiving fresh hot made to order food. I ordered the new meal deal that's $7 dollars you get a chicken sandwich & fries. There was a good portion of food & it was delicious. The price was affordable, and the customer service was great. This location had a spacious dining area where you can place your order to go. I like this location because there's lots of shopping & dining options available. There's convenient parking available in front. I would highly recommend this location because the food was freshly made & affordable alone with excellent customer service. I uploaded a picture of the sandwich it was a decent size & very fulfilling.

I tried out this spot based off several recommendations. This chain seems to be pretty well-known in the Midwest; there are several locations shortly outside of Detroit area. Most locations have a fast casual setup. I was impressed by the number of flavors and sides available. It can be hard to narrow down, so my friend and I went for a few different sauces: Classic Buffalo, Honey Chipotle, Garlic Parmesan, and Berry BBQ (seasonal.) Wait time for the food is about 20 minutes, which I think is reasonable. I've tried a ton of wings spots over time, so I'm pretty critical when it comes to ranking them. These were good, but not extraordinary. They were cooked well. The skin was crispy without drying out the meat inside. I enjoyed all of the sauces. I was definitely skeptical of the Berry BBQ; I'm glad I tried it but probably wouldn't reorder. Overall, this spot is good. I'd rank the wings higher than other chain restaurants but wouldn't seek it out above other restaurants in the Detroit area.

DWC POUTINE Fries or Tater Tots, white cheddar cheese curds, homemade beef gravy, got my with Fries for the win. She had the new CRISPY TENDER SALAD Crispy Chicken Tenders, Fresh Romaine, Sweet Corn & Onions, Cheddar, Cornbread Croutons. Served with Mississippi Ranch. A winner she really Loved plenty to share. We shared a couple mega Chicken Tenders with Comeback Sauce, tender juicy Wowed. Had a Blueberry Lemonade was delicious not to sweet, they take on Detroit Lions Kool aid Lol . Still the number one Chicken Wings and Tenders place in Metro Detroit with low Prices. This location our favorite has a dine in area to enjoy. Food was okay. The Alfredo Mac n cheese definitely could have had a little more flavor and cooked in a oven. The tenders however was thee best. Very juices hit and crunchy just how I like them. Service was very good and fast. I would like to come back and try the Mac again.

My wings are freezer burned with sauce on top. They're entirely too expensive for poor quality. Furthermore, I noticed immediately. The person that sauced the wings had to have seen this as well.

Detroit Wing Company in Taylor specializes in chicken - traditional wings, boneless wings, and tenders. My husband and I didn't know what to expect when we hit this place on a Saturday afternoon. Because it was a bit of a drive we planned to dine in but we didn't realize this place is more a carry out place. With 4 picnic tables for eating or waiting for your order, we placed ours and ate in. We ordered a meal ($22) that included 18 boneless wings (with 2 sauces), two sides of fries, and a 12 oz coleslaw or potato salad. We went with the coleslaw which was good! In terms of sauces, this is where DWC exceeds most other places. They offer 17 different sauces all of which are homemade. We had a difficult time choosing our two sauces. I really wish they would allow you more than two choices when you order a large amount of wings. We choose garlic parmesan and honey chipotle. We liked the honey chipotle but didn't care for the garlic Parmesan. The honey chipotle was spicy and sweet - a perfect combination. They gave us a very generous amount of fries. In fact, we didn't even finish one of the two containers. They were a little too salty in my opinion. I think I'd ask for light salt night time. If we had a DWC closer to us, we would definitely try it again. Unfortunately this location (our closest) is too far. If you like wings, give this place a try but I suggest carry out at this location. Also they have specials so check in on those.

The boneless wings were ok. Inside was slightly dry and a couple pieces (out of 10) had the tendons still and I cannot chew them. It's a texture thing for me so I did discard those. I can't imagine a wing place not removing the tendons?

This restaurant has it own private parking lot and is very clean. They do not have dine-in. They only have carry out and delivery. They have a ton of exotic flavors to chose from. And 3 different styles: traditional, boneless, and tenders. I went with the traditional cajun and firecracker with fries. The wings are decent sized, has the right amount of sauce and is very tasty. I placed my order at the restaurant and it took about 15 minutes to get my meal. As I mentioned, the wings were very delicious. On the better end of the spectrum of wings that I have had. I highly recommend checking this place out to get your wing fix. I cant wait to try some of their others flavors soon.

Ordered for pick-up at DWC before picking up my coworker at the airport nearby but waited till I got back to my hotel room to try these delicious wings. I was very impressed by the taste. The lemon pepper of course was rediculously delicious so was the sweet heat and it had quite a good kick to it. The Mac & Cheese is a must try here. It was the bomb. They use a few different cheeses with a layer right on top and sprinkles of panko on it. Very cheesy, gooey just pure heaven. Absolutely impressed by the Mac and Cheese and I would put on my top 3 best that I have ever tried. This place is very new and clean and at the time that I picked up my order it was almost closing. Can't wait to try more wings as well as other items from the menu.

Ordered 12 chicken wings. 6 lemon pepper and 6 chipotle barbecue. I received 5 of each and the wings were fried too hard

Wings were incredible. Big and very saucy. Crispy too. Staff is super friendly and gave me 5 free wings and a free side of mac and cheese. HIGHLY recommend

This was my first time going. I saw what I wanted on line and was ready to order in person. I'm old that's what some old people do! However, when I got there, I was told that was an older offering and no longer available. Bummer. But I did come up with ano selection. 5 boneless and 5 classics, with oAsian orange and whisky BBQ sauces. Your food is cooked after you place your order, so be prepared for a wait. The boneless wings were spot on. The classics needed to be cooked a little longer. I can't believe that I didn't take a pic! I will next time. This place is a keeper. Especially when I heard that they sent a truck with food to the hurricane victims in Florida. Kudos!

I have to update my dws review. The owner promptly addressed my initial review with in hours. He notified me that everything is made to order with high quality ingredients which is why it takes a little longer and is a little more expensive. They do in fact have a rewards program based on the phone number you use to place your order online or in store. He even asked to add my points my my previous order. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Hats off to the owner Gus and I hope this business does well!

Delicious. The garlic parmesan boneless wings were exactly what I wanted. Huge portion of fries to go with and the perfect crispness. When I want wings I go here.

So I have been meaning to do this review since the 1st of March and today is now the 20th. WHEN I SAY THESE WINGS ARE BOMB. I MEAN IT. They cooked just right, asked for them WELL DONE and they were perfect. Nice and crispy under the sauce just like I like them. And with or without the sauce the wings are good. But the sauces just makes them FIRE. I got Lemon Pepper(I always order lemon pepper) Creole Parmesan, and Butter Cheese. Lemon Pepper is always my go to but this lemon pepper was perfect no too lemony or too peppery it was a perfect balance of both. Definitely recommend lemon pepper. Didnt know what to expect of the Creole Parmesan but it was better than in could have imagined. It's not spicy as I thought it would be and the Parmesan isn't real heavy. I ate more of the Creole Parmesan and I ordered those for my son. I ordered through DoorDash and when they arrived they were still piping hot and the fires were still nice and crispy. But keep in mind I live less than 10 minutes from the location.

Being a lone vegetarian in a group of friends that love meat can be hard. I have to say the fact that they have both options is awesome. Before a recent boating excursion I stopped in and grabbed 24 boneless wings with Garlic Parm, and an order of Honey Chipotle Pretenders. Everyone in my group enjoyed them, and went back for seconds. The Mac and cheese is also a crowd pleaser. Looking forward to trying new sauces too.

I stumbled upon this place looking for Tropical Smoothie. The wings were good, nice and hot, like I like them. You can dine in or carry out. If carrying out I would suggest calling ahead of time to place an order because it is a bit of a wait, if you're alone.

When they 1st opened? An easy 5 stars imo. My last few visits have brought it down 2 stars. The tenders are different or they're cooking them different. The meat is more tough and the batter/breading is different. The bigger cheese sticks they had when they first opened were also much better than what they serve now. I also heard they aren't bringing back the chili this year.

Best. Wings. Ever! I've never been a huge wing fan, but my boyfriend urged me to try these wings & now I can say that I (we) keep coming back for more. The butter cheese sauce is THE BEST!! You can't go wrong with their 40% promotion either- major bonus. The customer service has been good & our wings have always been done in a reasonable amount of time. I can see why they've been voted Best Wings!

It was average. The service was marginal and disinterested. We had to keep going back to the counter as we dug out our food for things that were missing. That stemmed from not being asked if we were eating in or taking out. We planned to eat in, then had to unpack it all from how it was handed to us - guessing what was what. Goofy and irritating. We couldn't tell what sauces were in what cups as they are written in light pink marker and unreadable. The traditional wings are meaty and the sauced I tried - decent. My friend said his chicken fingers/tenders had too much breading. No fountain pop machine, just Faygo and Bottled Water. Silly. No one checked on how our food was, and no "thank you" was given as we left. I am surprised it is so raved about. I wouldn't be racing back nor planning to try any of the other locations.

The firecracker sauce is phenomenal. It has just tbe right about if sweet and spicy. The garlic parmesan is a favorite. The hot garlic is extremely hot!

I ordered delivery via third party app to my hotel. This review is based upon order accuracy and food quality. I personally ate the tenders and macaroni and cheese. The tenders had a fresh taste and a light, crispy coating. The honey chipotle sauce was a nice balance of spicy and sweet. I enjoyed the macaroni and cheese also. It was some of the best I've had in a while. The topping, while not crisp upon arrival, was flavorful and added a wonderful touch. The portion was also large and made for more than one meal.

It's all about the sauces...wow. Homemade sauces awesome!!! Bone in Wings were hot and fresh. Larger of fries, hot and crispy and enough for 3 . Ordered online order was ready a few minutes after we arrived. Friendly prompt service. Highly recommended!!!

Completely disappointed in this place. Only gave it two stars because staff was great. But otherwise SORRY no redemptive qualities. Seating area has undersized picnic tables don't be a large person and want to eat hear, just not happening. Now the Wings. Terrible over baked/broasted wings with sauce poured over them. Had the honey BBQ and Sauve was horribly bitter. Also had the Parmesan and it was literally just a garlic butter sauce and Parmesan from a can sprinkled on top. Horrible!!! Sorry but these guys need to be ashamed of the product they are producing. It doesn't take much to make a Good Wing. Usually I give a place a second chance but they are so far away from real wings I think I'll just never go back.

Only place I will get my carry out boneless wings from. No one else compares. I don't like all of the sauces but I found my favorites. Try the dry rubs on the fries

I came in at 9:40pm which I know can be frustrating because they were about to close, but my service and food was WONDERFUL!!! I was helped my Shayna and Taylor and I literally would go back just to talk to them. Thank you so much for your wonderful service! Also, the young man in the back that was making my food did a fantastic job! I just forgot to get his name :(

16 wings, Dill potato salad (AMAZING), fries and 2 drinks for $24 = GREAT FOOD AND PRICES:) We tried the Whiskey BBQ, Garlic Parm and Carolina Gold, all flavors were delicious and everything tasted very fresh.

On Saturday, March 2nd time to give this place a try. Walked in at noon to a clean dining area and friendly staff. Orders placed and waited about 15 minutes sitting at one of the picnic tables along the wall inside. Wife went to restroom which you would think would have been cleaned and stocked with TP, as only open for short time, well your wrong. NO TP! Ok onto the food. Wings were great, as well as the choice of sauces we had. The fries were crisp and tasted great. Love the Faygo pop idea. Only issue is no recycling for the empty pop cans. Should have a bin to put cans in. Maybe find a school or group in area and have them monitor the bins and handle the recycling and keep monies for groups needs. See you soon!

Visited this place for the first time, and I think it's overly hyped up. I ordered the traditional "Buffalo" and also "Garlic Parmesan" flavor and it didn't taste like anything. Before you ask, no I don't have covid! But I think hooters traditional wings are tastier and better.

One of my fav places ! You can't never go wrong with Detroit Wing Company. Whenever I crave wings which is often this is the only place I go to unless I'm far away and non of them are around but it's definitely my fav place for wings hands down . A1!

Ordered online. There is an option to order your items 'well done' or 'extra well done'. GREAT! I selected the extra well done option. Pick up my food and the wings were not well done, not even close to extra well done. The person working the register was very understanding, apologetic and helpful. My issue is, I had to wait another 25 minutes for my order to be completed how ordered. Wings were great, but everything else with my order was cold and soggy after waiting. I guess I cant have everything I want...

Finally!! I got to try DWC. Always heard about them but have never been able to get to one of their locations. Wife and I shared some bone-in and boneless with sides of fries and Mac and cheese. Tried to hot garlic, chipotle and the sweet BBQ. The hot garlic was FIRE. Way too hot. Have to scrap off sauce to finish them. The rest of the wings were perfect. Decent size bone in wings and very generous sized boneless wings. The staff up front were helpful. The food was made to order. The offered 40% happy hour on boneless wings but I didn't want to wait 20 minutes so we just ordered right there and then. One dude walked in and walked out so he could wait in his car until happy hour. He came back and saved himself 2 whole dollars (lol). Regardless, I liked the food. Try them.

Tried boneless honey bbq wings, honey chipotle, traditional buffalo, fries & Mac n cheese. The wings were all very mediocre. Ate two and didn't care to even finish. One of my boneless wings were all fatty and disgusting. Sauce wasn't very good. Mac n cheese was ok. Fries were the best part. Cashier had dirty nails. I was so excited to try this but honestly very disappointed I spent $35 on this.

We tried them for the first time a couple of days ago. We ordered bone in wings,mac and cheese,fries and coleslaw. The sauces on the wings were delicious but the some of the wings were over cooked and tough. The mac and cheese was pretty good. The slaw and fries were just average.

The wings, mac and cheese and poutine...so good!! The garlic parmesan, creole parmesan, whiskey bbq and habenero ranch are a few of our favorite sauces. Our kids love the amazing mac and cheese (we do too) and boneless wings or tenders with honey bbq on the side. A friendly staff and great food. This is now one of our go-to carry out spots on a regular basis!

Some of the best wings I've had in the area. Quick, friendly service. Nice sized, well sauced wings. Much better than Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings. Not a large place and focus is on carry out. Honestly, my only negative was the price. Pretty expensive wing place, but on par with the competition in that aspect. If I felt it was a better deal, it would have been a 5 star review.

I tried them for the first time 4-16-19... I tried the Lemon Pepper that is rolled in butter and rolled in the Lemon Pepper seasons... I WAS DELICIOUS, I also had the BBQ Whiskey ... DELICIOUS ... I am going tomorrow for just the LEMON PEPPER!!

Wow! Some of the best wings I've ever had! The Mac and Cheese was awesome as well! Super easy to order online and they'll text you when your order is ready!! I highly recommend the garlic parm sauce on your wings, so tasty! They have some seating, but mostly looks like a carry-out place. The staff was very friendly and fast as well! Will definitely be back!!!

I was recommended and told the wings were better than Wingstop and i must say since I've had them, i haven't gone back to wing stop. The Buffalo chicken dip is really good also

I ordered the classic wings and french fries. The wings and fries were really good. I will be going back soon.

Tenders are a little fatty but I like the chicken wings fried hard. The sauces are different but they ar decent. I prefer the buffalo. Can't go wrong wit it here. Also, they have a great loaded fire but its better enjoyed fresh rather than ordered out and eaten at home. Great for something quick though.

Update: We tried DWC for the second time thanks to the owner. This time it was spot on & really good. We got an order of buffalo wings, lemon pepper wings, & their Mac n cheese. The dry rub wings were great as well as the buffalo. Even though the ranch is extra...it's probably the best ranch ever. The Mac n cheese was ok...it lacked a bit of seasoning but I'm good with doctoring it up at home. After this time we will definitely be back.
