Eric Cook Opens Contemporary Creole Restaurant Saint John in the French Quarter | Eater New Orleans

"I note Deurty Boys is a French Quarter studio run by local artists Jeremy Hebert and Rev. Varg Vargas; they produced the stained glass pieces featured in Saint John’s elevated booths and also created the large, three-dimensional mural of depictions and tributes to deceased local chefs and hospitality industry leaders that sits above one of the dining areas." - Clair Lorell

One of my favorite galleries in the Quarter. I found an amazing piece to take home, and plenty more I would have loved to have.

Have treasured pieces of art that we love. They ship to Iowa and shipping is reasonable and well packed. Their shop is great, too.

Yelp
Super cool art! We needed something for a wall in our kitchen and just happened to take a walk in Jackson Square before heading home. Met this artist and bought one of his Prince paintings. Definitely recommend this artist/artwork. Very high quality work

Yelp
This is just a wonderful collection of art, created by local artists, on many local topics, and with reclaimed products that can be found (mostly) locally. If you want a painting of a local street car on a reclaimed window, you'll find it here. If you're looking for the perfect Anthony Bourdain quote to keep you going. Nailed it. If you don't even have a clue what you want, but you want to take home something unique that many people probably don't have. DING! DING!! DING!!! You have a winner!! This is a great shop that is easy to spend a length of time in as every product is unique in its creation. If I had a greater paycheck, I'd happily own half the store, but as it is, I will collect some pieces here and there to remember the uniqueness of New Orleans, and the tremendous talents created therein. Definitely worth a stop, even if you're not ready to buy anything YET. Follow their IG, and scope ahead, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
This art gallery is an interesting collaboration with many of the pieces created from found objects or recycling materials. The main artists are Lance Vargas & Jeremy Hebert. I have one of Varg's wooden voodoo dolls in my kitchen and I love Jeremy's tributes to musicians and other artists, often painted on old windows. The store is very low key and don't be surprised if you're invited to hang out and watch a movie. They are conveniently located across from Harry's Corner Bar for convenient imbibing whilst you shop.

Yelp
So very disappointed in this place . My husband & I were so excited to get his Anthony Bourdain picture he chose painted there. We went to the shop in December and by March they still haven't started the work. So sad because my husband is a Chef at The Vampire Cafe and we planned on getting a lot of work done but if you need a professional go elsewhere.

Yelp
I enjoyed the artwork here. Very very welcoming staff inside of the store and not PUSHY to buy art. Some interesting visuals and def worth a visit.

Yelp
Awesome place! One of my favorite gallery's when I went to New Orleans, bought a piece for my mother as a wedding present. The people there were really cool, definitely recommend.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the art and the owners are extremely relaxed and focused on creating.
