Devasom Khao Lak Beach Resort & Villas

Absolutely sensational new resort at Khao Lak. The rooms are cool and excellently fitted out with perfect WiFi and technology connectivity (and the softest beds). The pool area is pristine and leads out directly onto a beautiful stretch of beach. The hotel food is excellent and the breakfasts were a superb spread. Special thanks to Tommy and the team at the pool bar, Mr Big and Bao for their excellent service at the pool itself (as well as the intense and fun Thai boxing classes they give!) and the team at the spa (who not only gave excellent treatments but followed up with you the next day to check how your skin was doing). I only stayed six nights but wished it was longer… of all the hotels I have stayed in in Khao Lak this is now my firm favourite!

The service consistently exceeds expectations and reflects the highest hospitality standards. The hotel’s amenities and public spaces are meticulously designed and maintained, contributing to a sense of elegance and comfort. Devasom offers a well-curated selection of daily activities and special dining events, allowing guests to enjoy enriching experiences without leaving the property. Accommodation quality is equally impressive. We stayed in a Deluxe Grand Seaside room, which was spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The level of cleanliness in the room was outstanding and deserves special recognition, reflecting the hotel’s strong commitment to hygiene and guest comfort. The beach is absolutely stunning providing the perfect setting for relaxation. Overall, Devasom delivers an experience that goes beyond imagination and sets a benchmark for excellence in luxury hospitality.

From the moment you arrive the staff make you so welcome. The hotel itself is first class, beautiful building with superbly kept grounds. There are two restaurants, one located within the main building, the other which|Is Ala-carte is situated by the pool area next to the beach, both provided excellent meals as would be expected being on the Michelin guide.|The rooms are a good size, equipped very well and spotless. Ours had a great view with a sizeable balcony. All hotel services were above expectations. The hotel has all the facilities that one could reasonably ask for. |We just enjoyed two weeks at the Devasom and would happily return without giving it a second thought. |The beach is right on your doorstep and was very clean and the sea was very inviting. A 5 minute walk along the beach leads you to a few restaurants and bars if you fancied varying your eating arrangements, a nice Thai meal can be had.|All in all, this is a hotel that doesn't disappoint, if you did want to venture out of an evening perhaps to the market or eat out in the main area then either the hotel shuttle bus or a taxi will sort that out, it's a relatively short drive (under 10 minutes). The hotel is situated far enough away from the main strip to provide to quiet relaxation holidays are all about but close enough to visit should you want.|This was our first visit to Thailand and I'm sure the Devasom played its part in convincing us that we will be returning again and again.

Come for the ambience, the sunsets, magical setting and charming staff.|The pools are large enough to swim in and the beach pleasant enough, though the sand has some shells.||The food is exemplary, especially the Thai Bib Gourmand awarded Takola and a beach grill - both serve wonderful food. Cocktails go beyond the run-of-the-mill fayre, with a real flare for originality in both taste and presentation.||The spa is sensational, hidden in a magical setting, though the gym could do with an update.||Do try the kayaking, explore the mystic waterways on your very own Colonel kurtz search - complete with a near death experience courtesy of falling coconuts!||The main hotel buildings are in 2/3 story blocks, the concrete floors can transmit sounds from above - hopefully you have considerate neighbours ;)||I must also call out special thanks to Max (guru of guest services), Eddie (can-do-anything concierge) and Nicky (human face of management), all of who assisted us so graciously and made our stay extra-special.||The hotel has an architectural presence that blends so wonderfully with the natural setting and if your a photographer you'll be blown away by the golden hour's pink hues.||This was our first time to Thailand, the Devasom was my wife's favourite of the three 5* hotels we stayed in, for me it tied with The Surin.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful ,especially Mr. Kawee, who was very attentive. He made our stay even more enjoyable.The food was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was very convenient. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The food, the ambience, and most of all, the staff were all truly outstanding! While I don't usually take notice of the ambience at hotels, the moment you walk in here, you're instantly relaxed by the perfect combination of music, scent, and beautiful decor. A major highlight of our stay was the 8-course dinner at Takola. This was, hands down, some of the best food we have ever had! A flawless stay. I 100/10 recommend this hotel!

Stayed in 2023 for our honeymoon. Quiet location right by a beautiful part of the beach, excellent service and the food in the restaurant was delicious, I still miss it! It's not walking distance to the main town but they have a shuttle and you can walk down the beach to some nearby restaurants. Perfect for a quiet break!

Devasom was the final leg of our three week honeymoon and boy did it deliver. From the moment we entered the beautiful peaceful Arabian complex, we were greeted by the kindest man who brought us sweet tea and a cold towel to refresh. Our room wasn’t ready but it was ok as they gave us a day room which was still 5 star standard. Then when our room was eady, they came to collect us and walked us through the beautiful hotel grounds and we arrived at a beautiful room which was absolutely huge with a freestanding bath and a gorgeous balcony and we managed to see the sunset over the sea it was stunning. We then changed rooms a few days in to a larger suite with a balcony pool which we were able to enjoy just by ourselves. The hotel overall was an impeccable standard. The restaurant was Michelin rated the food was outstanding. The people were so kind and generous at the pool. They would deliver water constantly to keep you hydrated. Also at around 1pm they would hand out fruit kebabs to everyone and happy hour on cocktails 241 2-5pm. They couldn’t do enough for you. It was in the most beautiful setting. They run different nights that are themed like Thai nights and Churasco and fire shows on the beach. it is just absolutely stunning and they also do a free shuttle into the Khao Lak town which you can just book at any time and we did that a few times and there were some really fun shops and bars with great people and music. They also do daily activities like yoga and Maui Thai as well as free kayaks and bikes. It’s definitely more of a chill hotel and perfect for honeymoon goers. We would definitely return to the Devaspm. It was five star in every way. We particularly loved one guy who did fire, Muay Thai, yoga, and pool services. We think his name was Li but probably wrong he is in one of the fire photos
