I hadn't visited this place in quite some time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the enchanting atmosphere that enveloped the space. The soothing glow of the fireplace created a cozy ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind. There was a versatile seating arrangement with both low and high-top tables, and the bar area was inviting, an ideal setting for conversation or simply relaxing. To my surprise, the place was a lot quieter than I remembered from my previous visits, which made for an even more enjoyable experience. We were seated right away, and our server, Steve, immediately set the tone for our evening. He was attentive and friendly, expertly guiding us through the cocktail menu. We appreciated his effort to check back frequently to ensure we had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. It was a nice touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. I was slightly disappointed that some of the fun, interactive drinks I remembered were no longer on the menu, but I decided to explore the offerings regardless. I picked something intriguing, and oh my, it exceeded my expectations! The cocktail was vibrant and expertly crafted, perfectly complementing the lively spirit of the evening. To kick off our night, we ordered their legendary truffle fries, a dish I had fond memories of. They did not disappoint! The fries were perfectly crispy and dressed in a rich, decadent truffle oil that was mouthwatering. The aroma wafted through the air, drawing in comments of delight from everyone at the table. Each bite was a heavenly blend of flavors that sparked nostalgia. Next up was the pappardelle, and wow, it was a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate! The presentation was nothing short of stunning, with the pasta beautifully arranged and topped with vibrant ingredients. The portion size was generous, and it was an incredibly filling dish packed with rich, complex flavors that left us all raving. The handmade pasta was perfectly cooked, and each mouthful was a delightful combination of taste and texture. As we settled in, savoring our food and drinks, we had a fabulous time. The warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious food truly made this visit a memorable one, and we are eager to return sooner rather than later!

Google searched for a nearby dinner spot on our last night visiting Minneapolis from WI and a group of 6. This looked like an interesting option and story on the website and one of the the higher ratings in the area. We had great service and the food came out quick. Really enjoyed the Bison Street Tacos, Mac & Cheese, State Fair Cheese curds and Chicken Tenders . Thank You

Google
A little disappointed with my food from this restaurant. I ordered the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich and substituted the fries for the devils advocate mac and cheese. The sandwich was good, however the mac and cheese was very disappointing. The mac and cheese wasn't mixed/cooked together properly. It came out separated. Cheese sauce at the bottom and plain mac at the top. Also they used shell pasta for the mac. See the attached photo. All the pasta to the right had no cheese on them.

This was a last-minute desert run. We walked in and asked for a dessert menu grab two pieces of cake and took out. The cake was actually really really good and I wish we had actually eaten our meal there given the funky atmosphere and Cool vibe of the restaurant.

Google
We wanted a small bite and some drinks to finish off our Friday and this place was terrific!!! The drinks were so unique and the bread board and steak bites hot every spot!!! (And the water was even so delicious. Don't laugh. Trust me!!)

Google
Delicious Brussels sprouts and beet bruschetta. I’m surprised to see the negative reviews, since we had a great experience with our food and cocktails. We were more concerned by the fact that The Devil’s Advocate needed more thorough and enticing descriptions of the food on their menu, and more visible exterior signage to draw diners in.

Google
Pretty lively late nite small bar. Caesar salad was just ok but actually about what was expecting, dessert martin actually was great but it was spilled all around the rim on its way to me and the sugar rim then was melting down the glass the whole time making every touch sticky

Google
Went there tonight with my family and it was so good! I got the Alfredo pasta with no shrimp. They gave us a good deal for me not getting the shrimp. They did not charge us for it. The stuffed meatball pasta is also so delicious! We took leftovers and ate them not even three hours after because of how good it was. Super good location as well. Staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Once again I found myself traveling for work in the twin cities and let me tell you Minneapolis did not disappoint. The Devils Advocate is now both my favorite movie featuring Keanu Reeves and my go to place for an amazing burger when in the downtown area. Service was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Waiter was a little green but very patient and kind. Nice clean open space overlooking the square at orchestra hall, can make for some interesting people watching. I'm trying this whole keto thing so I didn't dive full into the menu. Food...is tasty. Family raved about the Meatball Burrata. Red sauce is very very rich. Steak tips are good, the white horseradish sauce makes it really good. Billy's Brussels are great for keto and wonderfully flavorful. Should be shared, very heavy. But that's the intent, so not a slight just a statement. Major detractor was food came out cold. I ordered the stuffed meatball and the cheese was still cold, like solid not melted and cold. Will come back and hope for better prep from the kitchen. Update: came with a large group with a lunch reservation, service was good again. Food was good. Anyone with allergies be warned, several people in our party had an allergic reaction...we think to the fake fire place. Definitely something in the air. Burning eyes, irritated throats. One in our party left early due to the irritation to the eyes.

Amaya M.

Yelp
The drinks were good and for the most part food was too. The crab cakes were so so to me I am a little biased being that I lived in the east coast so I know good from bad. I took one home to finish. Thought I was just woozy from the drinks tasting paper but come to find out at home I'd been eating it. I was not happy as you can it's a LOT of paper The icing on the cake was our server stopping us on the way out telling us our payment didn't go through. We paid cash.... Must have gotten us confused with the other black couple although the restaurant only had 3 tables

Brian S.

Yelp
Food was decent, but I was more shocked to see tip included in my bill for a party of one. Very deceiving. I understand if it was larger party, but not 1-4 people.

Yelp
Went to the Devil's Advocate for libations. The food was great and we even had fun having drinks from the "Sinners" section of the menu. Here are two of the amazing drinks you can select and have fun with. The first one is "The Alchemist" a blend of lavender and other concoctions. The second one was a smokey mezcal drink names "Santa Muerte" as in saint death. The place was fantastic it felt dark and cozy and had tables and a lounge area giving it a Miami feel. The lighting was dark and dim and the decor was fantastic. The service was amazing considering the size of our group. Our server was kind and patient with us all. The menu was beautifully made and the items matched the theme of the place. Whether you want to try to sign a pact with the devil or come perform an exorcism or become a mad scientist, well this is the spot but either way you will enjoy the food, drinks, and company. I would highly recommend checking this place out #devilsadvocate

Yelp
We ate here for lunch today. Won't go back until they clean their carpets or do a VERY deep clean...the place smelled terrible and is dingy/nasty. Zero stars! Food was okay.

Andrew L.

Yelp
If you come here, just get the philly. This is the best philly I've ever had, and they sold me on the whiz. The beef was tender, juicy. The bun was soft and firm all at the same time. The onions were caramelized, and the fries were battered. This is what you get when you come here. Just do it.

Dawn J.

Yelp
It was so nice to find a kitchen open until midnight after we saw a show at the Orpheum! The Bianca pizza monthly special was incredible! A few hits and misses trying to find gluten free options, but the kitchen ad wait staff were very accommodating!

Shamar H.

Yelp
This the worse the worse food experience of my life. The customer service was poor & he had an attitude, the food had no seasoning, the truffle on the fries were old I could taste it. I will not eat here again.

Linda N.

Yelp
Great ambiance, My group and I weren't too impressed with the food that we ordered, maybe we should've asked our waitress. We did receive good service and would go again for the space and drinks!

Greg H.

Yelp
When we arrived at 7 on a Friday, the bar was full, but the restaurant was empty. After receiving my food, I understand why. The meatball was the star of an underwhelming meal. Steak was worse than Applebee's (not that Applebee's is the gold standard)

Og K.

Yelp
I work in the restaurant industry. I have never charged a customer for a chase when they order a shot of liquor. The server barely came to my table, as if she was scared to come to my table.. besides my service this place is beautiful the food was great but I recommend that they talk to their servers about trying to get over on people that live in the neighborhood. This is my second time trying this restaurant my first time eating there the first time I didn't get charge for having the orange juice back to a couple tequila shots. Anyways, I hope this helps you. You should always get an itemized receipt when you go to this location.

Yelp
Great location. Cool place for a hang out Good place for a first date Good service Misleading Restaurant Name. My husband and I were thinking like "Wow! What can this be about with such a cool name!!" So- We took a gamble on it ( I usually do research on a restaurant prior to eating and this time I didn't so shame on me!) We made reservations because our show was close to this location. We sat down all dressed up thinking "This is gonna be Great food for a great date night!"Our waitress seated us and gave us the menu. Oh boy! We were smacked in the face with complete disappointment. We laughed after we took a few minutes to peruse the menu. Food consists of your normal pizza and pasta joint. Truly, Nothing too exciting to write home about. Wouldn't mention it to others and really no memorable food choice, would rather recommend Carbone's of you want similar food selection- and dam! I suffered in heels to eat pizza when I could've worn sneakers and my sweats!!! Trust me reviewers!- I wasn't the only one in heels in this place either. We did say that if this place was a blow then we'd hit up Brits which is half a block over. For a restaurant name like this- I'd recommend matching food to the title. (Hey!! Time For a revamp of your menu perhaps? ) It's like going into an Asian restaurant and getting served Pasta. Disappointed that there was no spice selection, no boldness to anything, no burgers with a crazy flame story even, no crazy drink name like "Devils little sister!" Whatever you want to call it. Just sadly disappointed that it was your normal pizza palace hidden behind a cool name. I'd recommend making your "Devils Advocate" stand out instead of hidden behind an Angel.

Yelp
We really enjoyed dinner at the devil's advocate in downtown Minneapolis the other day, it is a very unique place with good Italian (and some other) dishes. The room itself is sleek and located on a busy corner of Nicollet st. The decor was nice, with a bar on one side, and the restaurant on the other, although you can certainly dine in the bar if you wish. My wife and I split the roasted garlic white been hummus along with the pork ragu Bolognese pasta. Both were very tasty, but the Hummus was our favorite, the toasted bread that came with was also excellent. Also shout out to the staff, they were very quick and easy to deal with.

Yelp
So I fly into Minneapolis for a football game...check into my hotel and Google places to eat. The name caught my attention and I am sooooo glad it did. The food was fantastic (fried artichoke app was insanely good) and the sausage sandwich was perfect. But the food wasn't all that was center stage....it was the staff...just some amazingly funny and chill owner, bartender and manager. Ya all "had me at hello!" Made it hard for me to even think going somewhere else for food while I'm here!

Amy N.

Yelp
Randomly came across this place and glad we stopped in. My first impression when we walked in was wow this place is so cool! Decor is modern with a fire place area. Looks nice and clean to top it all off. Food: Bruchata sampler - really good!! I highly suggest you order this and try it. The toast that paired with it was small and crunchy just the right size for it Steak and eggs pizza - this was the beat item that I tried. I was not sure how this would taste but I'm glad I tried it. They too pouched eggs on top of the pizza to add more flavor to it. The flavor fair well together making every time bite enjoyable! Eggs Benedict - had a slice of this pizza and it was also good! Bowl - this was interesting. A bowl full of greens. Extremely healthy and perfect for the vegetarians! Mediterranean salad - this salad had shrimp on top of it and u thought it had too much sauce on it. Still good! Bloody Mary - they have a full list of any type of Bloody Mary who you here. Overall, this place was really good!

Yelp
I only had one drink here, so might not be as accurate of a review, but I heard the food was not that great either, could be wrong though. Typically I don't drink much, so I asked the waiter which cocktail he recommended would be the sweetest and he suggested the pirate. I ordered the pirate and it was not sweet at all.. I noticed this drink was one of the most expensive out of them all, so not sure if that's why he recommended it. Overall service was okay, he came back a couple times to ask how we were doing. My check showed an "employee benefit fee" of 2% which is a little annoying, because there's no signs or anything that say that and they never mentioned it in the beginning. The total for my one drink with the fee a tip was literally $18. Not worth it at all.

Mike G.

Yelp
We went here before a performance at orchestra hall and it was very good. It is a very cool place inside with a fireplace, drinks were very good, our food was excellent and the servers were great. I would for sure come back again.

Alex G.

Yelp
We were there when they first opened, but I must say, they made the experience the best possible one. They were missing a few beers that were on the menu, but that's ok.The food was quite delicious and the staff was very attentive. The decor is very cool, and the vibe is something I look forward to enjoying again the next time I am in Minneapolis.

Halee P.

Yelp
Went here for brunch on a Saturday, it was average. It was not that busy when we were there, yet it took them about 15 minutes to greet us. The bloody mary was pretty good but they were a little spendy (ranging from $10-$16). For food I ordered the avocado toast that comes with a side of breakfast potatoes. When they brought it out, they forgot the egg on the toast and potatoes, so my plate looked really sad (see photo). I don't know how they ever thought it looked okay to bring out to me??? I told them and they took it back to fix it. While I waited for my food, they gave me a coffee liqueur cocktail with dry ice - super cool looking drink that smokes out of the glass! The avocado toast was pretty plain tasting. I wouldn't get it here again. Although the food was average, we did have a great waiter and the inside of the restaurant was welcoming and trendy.

Yelp
Was really excited to check out the new version of Devil's advocate as I was a huge fan of their original location + I work close by so was hoping for a regular lunch and happy hour spot. I visited on a Wednesday for lunch - and we were one of the only tables when we arrived ~12pm. Our server immediately helped us navigate the menu and was very attentive throughout our visit. We ended up ordering the Minnesota Grain Bowl and the Southwest Salad + a side of fries. The Minnesota Grain Bowl was super unexciting, not bad just fairly bland. The Southwest Salad was extremely flavorful, but felt overpriced for the size considering it didn't have any protein in it (which is a $4 up charge). The fries were pretty tasty- and the portion felt sizable for $5. Our total lunch came out to ~$32 (pre-tip). They did appear to be extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions as they have a robust vegetarian menu + were great about checking any limitations that my friend may have due to some allergies. Their tap list (and bottle/can list) was fairly impressive, with lots of more unique offerings that are definitely not on most local tap lists. A few misses that happened during our visit that definitely made my experience less than ideal: - I ordered my salad without red onion but the served heard without red pepper instead, so I unfortunately missed out on peppers + had to experience red onions for my meal -The restaurant didn't have mustard? This felt like a strange item not to offer as it feels like it should be standard for any restaurant -Some items felt a bit overpriced (especially when they didn't include protein) -They do sneak in an additional 2% employee benefit fee onto your tab. Earlier reviews mention a credit card fee of ~4%, it appears that this has changed, but they do have the employee benefit fee that is a bit of a surprise at the end

Diane B.

Yelp
Great lunch with my sisters. Bloody Mary was very good. Nice way to start lunch. I was off work so bloody Mary was on the menu. My sisters were working so no Bloody Mary for them Menu is good. Nice variety. Fries are crisp. Cole slaw is a little to coke slaw. Needed for seasoning. But everything else was perfect. Service was attentive and food. Enjoy!

Samantha S.

Yelp
If you love eggs Benedict you must try their Benedict pizza holy cow. It was the best experience I have had! Decent bloody. Cool coffe drink with dry ice

Ryan C.

Yelp
Blonde short hair bartender, took my order and told another girl to take it. Arrived at 9:15 pm, nothing said food about food no longer served on the internet or website but that is the first thing the guy said to us. Spent $15 on an Uber to get there to find this out. We used Yelp and their website and never said no food after 9:15 pm. Would I go back, 100% NO! I have traveled from Michigan to Florida, then up the coast to Maine.Drove back to Michigan and drove west to Deadwood, SD, then north through ND, ultimately east back toward Michigan and never had worse service and worse misdirection through ones website. As of 11:47 on July 26, 2022, we could not find anything that says , "no food at or after 9:15 pm". Up to u if you listen!!

Phyllis L.

Yelp
The restaurant/decor was beautiful and eclectic in the best way. Even though I didn't sit in the "lounge " area with the funky couches and chairs they were inviting and I wanted to. The food was delicious I got margarita pizza and salad, my friend got some wings and aioli parm fries. She couldn't stop raving about whatever sauce the wings came with. I only ordered beer but I was ice cold like I love it. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, a gentleman who said he was the owner or manager came over to greet us and ask if things were ok. Very nice man and chatted with us about our hometown Chicago. I so wanted to return during this trip but I will when I'm back in Minneapolis in the near future.

Susan K.

Yelp
As soon as I walked in, I loved the look and feel of this place. There are several seating options (bar, dining area and lounge), which all had their own vibes. The vapor fireplace and incredible chandeliers gave the area a modern but cozy feel. I had heard a lot of good things about the food and creative drinks. I ordered a delicious and delicate hibiscus drink. I'm a vegetarian and enjoyed the HUGE range of no-meat options. The beet bruschetta and garden pasta were faves. And the pizza is magic! Love the crispy thin crust and interesting toppings (the pepper pizza was delicious and surprisingly not too spicy). The greens salad was also deceptively yummy for an all-green bowl- I wish I could get that everyday for a weekday lunch. I loved that most ingredients are locally sourced- you could definitely tell with the freshness and flavor. Can't wait to go back when I'm in Minneapolis next!

Kyle F.

Yelp
Beware ordering takeout from this restaurant. I ordered from their online platform on ChowNow on a Friday night, and when I got to the restaurant they had a small paper flyer on their door saying they were going to be closed until the following Wednesday.

Brianne L.

Yelp
We had tickets to Orchestra Hall and we looking for somewhere close and different, this was a great find. 5:30pm on a Thursday - the ambience was perfect for our girls night out! There were several different types of seating - booths, comfy chairs, high tops, belly up to the bar, and regular table and chairs. We shared the Spring Rolls as our Starter. They were good. I ordered the Honey Sriracha crispy chicken sandwich and would HIGHLY recommend giving it a chance. I would absolutely get again. One of the other gals got a veggie bowl of some sort that looked great too. Bathrooms were small but clean. There was a patio with outdoor seating and service. Prices were reasonable. Give it a try!

George Z.

Yelp
Like others have already mentioned, this establishment charges a "non-cash fee" of 3.95 percent when you use a credit card. This fee is not conspicuously posted anywhere, nor mentioned by our server. I had to explicitly ask why they charge this fee AFTER I saw it on our bill and the response was that "downtown Minneapolis charges higher taxes..." Another deceptive and unethical practice I've encountered here is how they "round up" the bill. Because I didn't want to pay the 3.95 percent "non-cash" fee, I opted to pay with paper instead. However, upon getting my revised bill, and the non-cash fee still lingered on there. Also, instead of giving me my $7.65 back, the server simply left $7 in the check book. What?!? Our server was no where to be found at this moment, so we asked the host to track our server down. When our server came over, he was palpably combative with a "what's going on guys!?" We explained to him that the erroneous non-cash fee was still on the bill, and that we were short changed. He semi-apologized and proceeded to make things right, or so I thought. The non-cash fee was removed, but he still "rounded up" and pocketed my change. In my book, when you withhold change due to customers without their explicit consent, it is steeling from customers in broad daylight. This coupled with the non-cash fee unfortunately casts a long dark shadow on this establishment. Are they hoping there will be enough unsuspecting customers that they can simply get away with this? I hope this place gets their act together soon or otherwise word will spread and they will be beyond redemption. As far as the food, everything was passable at best. We went here because of the location, but after having such a weird experience here, not sure if we will ever come back unless they change management and implement appropriate business practices.

Kathryn B.

Yelp
Devil's is back! Their bar and lounge are very swanky and cozy. The location is very prime, on the corner of 11th & Nicollet. The clientele is a nice mix, all are welcome. Everyone who works there is friendly and professional. I love the late-night eats, available 10pn-12am. Specifically, the Black 'N Blue Pizza. If you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for? Get in there!

Christopher P.

Yelp
It is unfortunate that my review is two stars for a business that historically was one of my favorites in it's old location and original menu. Although the new location on Nicolette Mall is a nice venue and more spacious, the food quality is not what you would expect. The menu selection and beer and cocktail list is good on paper, but the execution of that menu is not. A few examples include: Lobster Rolls that are more like very basic lobster sliders; a Mediterranean Salad where the lamb kabobs were cold and dry and the salad leaves were very prickly texture. Other menu items at the table that night were also subpar. The place is ok to lounge and have a drink, but that's all I can recommend.

Don R.

Yelp
We walked to Devils Advocate in below zero temperatures from our hotel. We ordered Dry Rubbed Wings,Pizza and Meatballs. The wings seasoned perfectly. The pizza was a special group creation. It was the right thing on a cold winters night. The Meatballs in the marinara sauce was my favorite. The drinks were reasonably price. One beer though was the highlight of our night. My friend ordered a 40 oz beer.We were expecting a pitcher. When the beer was served it was an old school 40.oz bottle of Miller Highlife. OMG The kind you'd buy from the corner store back in the day. What a great place for great night !!

Mike W.

Yelp
We met up with friends there this past weekend, before going to a concert at Orchestra Hall. The menu seemed to be a perfect size. Enough options for many palates, but not so big that they didn't have a good focus on what they do well. They had a nice beer selection. Better than your average downtown restaurant, and well priced. There's a decent liquor selection, and the Yamazaki whisky I ordered was surprisingly inexpensive. The food was fantastic and very flavorful. The pizza, ravioli, the chicken sandwich and the vegetarian pasta were all top notch. Fresh, well done, and wonderful flavors. We definitely need to come back to try more items off the menu. A big benefit of the smaller menu is that the kitchen can focus on doing everything very well, and it shows. The atmosphere was great. Not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Warm and inviting, and comfortable. I'd call it classic, yet contemporary. Definitely a great place to just hang out, as well as have a good meal. When the bill came, there was one more nice surprise. They offer a discount when paying by cash. It's a great perk that will definitely have me keeping cash on me when I go back. The discount for using cash was bigger than any cash back options I have on a credit card. Makes it more than worthwhile to pay that way. With everything that we experienced at The Devil's Advocate, I'm very much looking forward to going back and exploring the menu even more.

Samantha W.

Yelp
Some co-workers and I went out for a Happy Hour cocktail. After a Friday we are usually pretty thirsty and being it was a beautiful summer day we decided to sit on the patio. I ordered the mojito and it met my Friday mood. We also ordered the chicken salad wraps and fries from the happy hour menu. The chicken salad wraps were amazing, I only wish there would have been more! Why I am giving this a 3 star is because the patio was extremely noisy. The bus stop is right there and it was difficult to even have a conservation across the table. I wish we had just sad inside. I also felt service was a little slow.

Tina R.

Yelp
The new Devil's Advocate on Nicollet Mall has such a cozy vibe you could chill here all day with their plush couches and "fire"place. The food is amazing! The pizzas and house made pastas are great. Looking for a snack? The carpaccio is my fave! Save room for a T-Rex Cookie for dessert!

Meg E.

Yelp
Service was great. Everything came quickly. The bloodied are all awesome. We were intrigued by the bloody tower but weren't ready to commit to that ;) Thry have a unique take on breakfast potatoes. The lobster bisque was great comfort food. Fries are

Paj Nyiag H.

Yelp
Had the Lobster Roll with French fries yesterday. The lobster roll was not in a traditional bun but were instead 3 sliders on Hawaiian bread. There were so little lobster that you couldn't even see what was in the bread. It was more like a "smear" in the bread. The flavors were there, sure, but the amount and presentation was disappointing and laughable. The fries were delicious but that's not why I ordered the dish. Definitely not worth the $16. If I ever go back again I would not order it again. Our server was great and everyone was friendly though.

Denali G.

Yelp
we went around lunch time and it was relatively quiet, not sure what it looks like at dinner or weekends. food was good, all good quality ingredients. they have a rotating seasonal tap menu as well, so it's nice to get a variety. overall it was pretty good. there is a lot of seating, so if it did get busier i'd imagine the wait time wouldn't be too long.

Sara O.

Yelp
Why did you have to change so much DA! Go back to the cute little set up you had with tasty meatballs and lots of beer. The new digs are super cute but the change in menu not so great. I ordered the only real meatball item and I had quite the challenge even cutting it open. Stuffed meatball sounds amazing but the taste just wasn't right. Another in our group got the gnocchi which was mostly sauce with a bit of gnocchi added in. Tasty but not well done. A third friend got the meatball sandwich which she did enjoy but nothing special. We ordered two of the specialty cocktails - bong water and a matcha tea drink. Neither were super amazing and switched to wine stat. Ended up sending the matcha tea cocktail back as it was really that bad. And we are a group that will really drink anything. Finally, as many others have commented, were a bit taken aback by the employee benefit fee. I thought it was awesome they were giving their employees benefits and was all about it. But then like others was told it was put on their instead of raising menu prices. Just seemed odd. Too many things going wrong at the new digs. Take it back to the basics.

Elyse F.

Yelp
The best part of Devil's Advocate is the service, and I know how hard that can be to get right, so something is clearly working. However, the food was not impressive and felt overpriced, even for the Nicollet Mall area. The ambience would be improved with some minor fixes - replace the faded carpet, get rid of the awkwardly-shaped bathroom sinks, and have one coherent theme - it seemed like the decor was at least three different styles mixed together without a cohesive intention. My advice is to check out the other nearby options.

Yelp
Beware of the "Non-cash disc", which is really a 3.95% surcharge that they automatically include and fail to mention or have posted anywhere. They also charged $8 for a beer listed on the menu as $7 (correct item rung in, wrong price). Loved the old spot; while the new space is beautiful, feels like they are scamming to make ends meet.

Yelp
Amazing everything. Service is prompt and friendly. The food is unique and tasty. The environment is comfortable and clean. I loved the previous location but they have really up'd their game here. The pastas are wonderful. I've had several of the menu items and have not been dissatisfied with one. You definitely should try this place out!

Yelp
One of my favorite in downtown! I cant even pick out a favorite dish because I love so many things on the menu. Staff is fun to chat with and very knowledgeable. Looking forward to enjoying a Norse sour when things open back up!

Yelp
I thought the service, food and cocktail was excellent! Hand made pasta? - How could you go wrong? Happy hour discount, which is always good if you need a boozy drink. Service was prompt. Restaurant was spotless. And I appreciate that they include and specify what the costs are for their employee heath care. Don't listen to the whiners. Everyone charges a credit card fee. Some just don't tell you. I'll be back next time I'm in your city.

Yelp
Amazing cocktails and food! Great atmosphere perfect for date nights. So close to the theaters and symphony makes a perfect stop for drinks and dinner before, or coffee and dessert after.

Yelp
We had been waiting for this to open after seeing that it had been in the works for awhile and were excited to try it out. Atmosphere: The place was very cool. It was dimly lit, the dining area was nice, there was a nice lounge area, and the bar was very cool. I really liked how it looked. It was a bit loud but that was likely due to the extremely large party of 20 behind us and not because of the restaurant. Drinks: The beer and wine list was very good, and though they didn't have a cocktail menu they had a full bar and the manhattan I got was great. Food: I ordered the philly cheesesteak and was a big fan. The house salad that came on the side was good as well. My fiancee that is notoriously picky about her mac and cheese was a big fan. Overall the service was very good, the food was very good, the drinks were very good, and we will certainly be coming back.

Yelp
Great place to go for dinner or cocktails before heading to Orchestra Hall (kitty corner from the hall). Beautiful setting with a bar area, lounge area and dining room. Their menu has a lot to choose from...apps, pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and more. The burger was great and can with more fries than we could eat! Mushroom pasta was awesome, as were the Ruben sliders and avocado toast with smoked salmon. Num! Will definitely go back!

Yelp
Cute space, good service, and a great selection of drinks. I wasn't drinking alcohol for January so appreciated the huge list of non-alcoholic offerings, including teas, mocktails, kombucha, and specialty sodas. Everyone in my group of 10 had something different and interesting and everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks. I look forward to coming back and trying the food!

Yelp
Food was great! Service was on point too. Our server was obviously busy but she crush it! We love the cash discount idea too.
