Tampa Bay Bars and Restaurants Serving Astral Tequila | Eater

"An Italian restaurant isn’t the most obvious spot for a margarita, but that’s the beauty of Tampa Bay’s diversity, where a Chicago-inspired trattoria can still put out one of the best margs in the city — alongside octopus carpaccio and fresh-baked focaccia. The space always gives off a joyful noise, thanks in part to the antique tin roof which dates back to the 1800s. Add to the ambience with Devito’s Italian Margarita made with Astral Reposado, Amaro Nonino, agave, orange, and Angostura bitters." - Matthew Meltzer

DeVito’s Italian Specialties has become my downtown Tampa’s favorite when I am in town! The décor is a nice mix of modern class and Italian warmth. I’d recommend it for just about anything from date nights, informal meetings or special occasions. House-made pasta was the highlight here. The lobster tagliatelle was the stand out dish of the evening. The pasta was house made and cooked al dente. The lobster was fresh and balanced by rustic sauce. Portions were more than reasonable. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, with staff who gladly guide you through the menu and pair wines. Marcos was the ultimate host! Looking forward to the next time!

Chef Mark is the man!! Great conversation and even better food!! I got the Calamari, Lobster Fra Diavolo & The Branzino (I can eat LOL). If you don’t get at least 2 of these you’re doing yourself a disservice. I forgot to get a pic of the calamari, and took a bite out of the Branzino before taking a pic. 100% recommend DeVito’s & I will be going back!!

To be fair we were here at 2:00 in the afternoon between the two rush hours. This is in December and we spent all of September in Italy, so we feel we are a good judge of authentic Italian food. I had the rigatoni Bolognese and my wife had the eggplant Parmesan. Both were excellent. I had a glass of super Tuscan and it was also excellent. Ditto the limoncello cake and espresso (sorry, no decaf). José gave us great service, but to be fair we were the only guests for most of that time. To address other reviewers' concerns: I do not tolerate garlic very well. I was surprised that Italy was not a problem for me. Neither was DeVito's. A hint of garlic but not enough to bother me. I thought the saltiness of both dishes was perfect. The only dark spot is that they ran out of Peroni on tap just before I got there. It happens and not enough to remove a star.

We had a wonderful experience at DeVito's. The food and the service were incredible. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff greeted us as we walked in and continuously checked on us to see if we needed anything. The location also has beautiful modern decor. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner to anyone visiting the city of Tampa. It is within walking distance (3 blocks) to the convention center and the Riverwalk. A must place to visit!

DeVito’s Restaurant — ⭐️⭐️ If you can smell the garlic wafting off this post, you’re basically tasting what we did. The penne alla vodka? More like penne alla peril. The team was lovely and comped the meal (thank you!), but even with just two drinks, our tab was still $55. The chef peeked out, probably wondering why the “table of blondes” wasn’t swooning. Let’s just say we’ll be revisiting this meal later… on the throne. Thankfully, we’ve got mint — and a sense of humor. 🌿😉

We stopped by DeVito’s because we were in the mood for Italian and wanted to explore downtown Tampa during our long weekend stay in St. Pete Beach. Getting into Tampa, though? That’s a journey all on its own. If you’re not doing at least 30 mph over the speed limit, you’re basically standing still. The silver lining? We beat Google Maps’ ETA by a solid 10 minutes — small wins! Now for the important part — the food and the experience. DeVito’s is a classy, welcoming spot with a cozy yet upscale vibe. I’ll admit, I might’ve been slightly biased — one of my best friends is a DeVito, and that may have nudged me toward giving this place a try. Either way, we’re glad we did. We started with a couple of appetizers because, frankly, I was starving. The mozzarella-stuffed sausage was a standout — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The bruschetta was also fresh and vibrant, with the perfect crunch and a generous helping of tomato and basil on top. For our entrees, the dishes kept the momentum going. My wife had the lobster-stuffed ravioli, which she gave a solid 10/10 — and I have to agree, especially since I happily helped her finish it (no leftovers on a road trip!). Our server was excellent — attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell the staff takes pride in both the service and the food. All in all, DeVito’s delivered across the board — great atmosphere, delicious food, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family visiting the Tampa area. It's worth the drive… even if you have to risk life and limb on the highway to get there!

Google
We went into a restaurant near our accommodation while looking for a place to eat. We ordered a tuna salad, pasta, and a seafood special. The pasta was a bit bland, but the other dishes were delicious.

Google
We just returned home from our anniversary dinner at DeVito’s. It was incredible. The decor is classy, but not stuffy. Music was old crooners which I love. Food was amazing and service was impeccable. We started off with the arrancini and the burrata caprese — both were delicious and plenty to share between 2 people. Then we had veal marsala and veal saltimbocca, and finished off splitting a slice of cheesecake with berries. I can’t believe anyone would have a complaint about portions or flavor of the food. It was incredible from start to finish. And our server was General Manager, Marcos, who was so friendly! We will be back!

Yelp
My husband and I were out, walking around downtown Tampa and it was comic con weekend. We'd had a great deal of fun people watching, and became greatly in meed of some delicious dinner! We walked over to DeVito's- we had been there once before, and have friends that go a lot, so we already knew it was very tasty. It's a beautiful restaurant- not a big space, but I think it's just the right size. It has a nice bar area, but the two times we have been there, we sat on the restaurant side with all the tables. Our server was Marco and he was amazing!!!! We introduced ourselves, and by the end of the night, felt like family. He was Amazing- great waiter, server, helped us with our dining choices (which sadly, I did not get any pictures)- made us feel right at home! We ordered a bottle of Ruinart Rose Champagne and started with a baked burrata filled with a very delicious sausage.... Wow- yummm!! I had the Rigatoni Bolognese- Thick, full-bodied sauce made with veal, pork and beef served over fresh handmade pasta- so very tasty!!! My husband ordered Linguine with Clams- Fresh little neck clams served with white wine sauce over handmade linguine pasta... of course we shared them because we both loved the dishes!! Wish I had taken more pictures, but trust me- the experience is totally worth it- it is truly an authentic, delicious Italian restaurant in downtown Tampa.

Yelp
Had dinner here after the restaurant appeared on Fox 13 last year. It was midweek, but the restaurant was busy. Nice ambience. Only two servers. The hostess had to help. Food was good, but serving sizes were not worth the prices. They have a nice selection of starters, entrees, and deserts. All the favorite Italian items. I would suggest ordering your own appetizer and entree. If you still have room, you can share a dessert. Parking is difficult midweek. Had to park on a side street and walk.

Yelp
The octopus carpaccio is definitely the shining star here! Would not recommend ordering the "arancini" which is essentially not actual arancini. Arancini is plural in Italian for "little oranges" and this starter was basically one giant pear-shaped rice ball served in the center of the plate, not appropriate for sharing (which the waiter should have mentioned upon ordering). I proceeded to be corrected by another staff member who happened to be walking past our table when we were audibly joking amongst ourselves that this was not appropriately named, explaining the "I" at the end means plural in Italian...and this was clearly singular. I was in such disbelief that I forgot to take a photo. :) Anyways, they should train their staff to not only be more informed but also not to question the obviously Italian customers on this kind of stuff. Recommendation to right-size the arancini. I make my own regularly, and realize it takes more time and skill to make a proper, small arancino...but it's worth it to get the right ratios of Arborio rice, mozzarella filling and crispy breading! The bucatini dish was good but the chicken parm was a bit bland and could have used additional seasoning in the breading.

Yelp
First of all, the service was top notch - truly the pinnacle of this dining adventure. Our server, despite being brand new, was graceful, gracious, and even spoke a little Italian. The food was excellent - we ordered the Caesar for two, the bruschetta, the eggplant appetizer and the chicken marinara. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful- bonus is the Caesar is made fresh table-side, which adds to ambience. However, the restaurant was out of veal, which was disappointing as we both intended to order a veal dish. This shows an incredible lack of foresight inventory wise, as nearly 25% of the menu is veal dishes. The ambience was nice enough... until a party near the door had to wait to be sat. Apparently there is no place or protocol for this, so we had four people standing within two feet of our table for roughly 10-15 minutes, talking loudly, and trying to stay against a wall but ultimately there wasn't enough space, which created an incredibly uncomfortable, unpleasant, and awkward situation for all. Nothing like sitting down to a $200 dinner for two with complete strangers hovering over the table talking loudly. This needs to change if this restaurant intends to be seen as a classy, upscale space.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the ambience of the restaurant. It had an intimate feel to it. The host and server were very friendly and attentive to my needs. Now the food, AMAZING. I would have to say this is now one of my top favorite restaurants I've tried to-date. The linguine white clam was the bomb.com. The flavors were bursting through the sauce and the chunks of meat throughout was a plus. I opted for a strawberry/peach mocktail and it was a 10/10. I ended my meal with a fresh slice of cheesecake with berries on top and it was to die for. Overall, I would say I recommend this spot, and I most certainly will be back!

Yelp
Service was slow and the food was average. We had to constantly remind staff for basics like water and bread due to obvious understaffing for a Friday 8pm dinner. I got the rigatoni, and compared to the authentic pasta I ate while living in Florence, this was underwhelming and my friend felt like her pasta was too runny. The bread of course was good. Good wine list, but the dining experience itself was not good. I won't be returning.

Yelp
The ambience was lovely and aesthetically pleasing, and the service was absolutely on point. And wow--the drinks! I had the Sicilian Meringue Toasted Martini, which was nothing short of fabulous. The pasta dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. This place is definitely going to be our new go-to Italian spot. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed every part of our dinner.

Yelp
My husband and I went to DeVito's with another couple. The food was great and so was the service. We really enjoyed our appetizers (meatballs, arancini and sausage stuffed mozzarella) and their veal Milanese was super delicious. We will be returning!

Yelp
5 stars! First time at DeVito's in downtown Tampa last night. Top Tier, upset I haven't tried this spot sooner. The truffle pasta dish was insane--legit Michelin star vibes. The service, on point! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, I felt like I left with new friends. The vibe is cozy and feels like money with the marble floors, the food is elite, and the energy is all love. Perfect spot for date night or a chill dinner with the crew.

Yelp
Ate here on New Year's Eve, safe to say never again. I was up all night with food poisoning. Do not eat anything seafood related here.

Yelp
Nice place for Italian food in downtown Tampa. My husband and I came here for a date night. I made last minute reservations on Resy. They do have a policy that they'll charge you $25/pp for a late cancellation, which seemed a bit silly when I made the reservations while driving over, but whatever. I arrived and was seated promptly. The host told me the name of the waiter, but the waiter did not introduce himself and came off as more of a busboy than a waiter. He was very unobtrusive, but he had very little presence. I had the tequila spritz to start, then I switched to the house Chianti. We started with the prosciutto and Parmesan starter. Then my husband had the penne alla vodka, and I had the osso buco. The prosciutto was delicious, so was the parmesan. My husband said his pasta was good but not as good as the pasta alla vodka that I make. My osso buco was fine (who doesn't love tender lamb shank?), but it seemed a little underseasoned to me, and I wish they did the traditional Milanese risotto rather than a mushroom risotto. The risotto was on the mushy side and also a bit bland. The peas sprinkled on top were crunchy, which was unexpected. I did like that the osso buco was served with a bone marrow spoon, and the marrow was positively delicious. It was a huge serving, and I ended up taking half of it home and eating it the next day. Osso buco reheats well. We ordered a cheesecake to go because we had a hockey game to get to. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious, as creamy and rich as can be, with a berry compote that cut the richness a bit with its acidity. I highly recommend that. There's no private parking lot, so expect to do street parking.

Yelp
The service was very good. I definitely will go back. The food was tasty and well prepared. Wine was excellent.

Yelp
This was an absolutely perfect place to have dinner. Unexpectedly found it walking around from a hotel and am glad I did. The menu isn't super huge but almost anything on the menu is tempting to try. The bartender was amazing at explaining the specials and recommending things along the way. Started with the calamari and it came out with an acceptable wait but was flash fried to perfection. I had the salmon and the skin was by far the best I've ever had. Everything was good but I think the chef could make a salmon skin dish alone and I would have eaten it. As we were talking to the bartender, Bond movies came up and he whipped up a vesper martini which capped off the night perfectly. This is a very quaint and intimate place. Highly recommend for a quick catchup with few friends. There was a large party in attendance and they did get quite loud as they were close to us but didn't really interfere with our enjoyment of the night.

Yelp
If you want to feel like you're in a Christmas hallmark movie you have to go here! This couldn't have been the more perfect place to feel the Christmas vibe. It was decorated beautifully and they were playing Christmas music. Kevin our server was so sweet and very energetic. He knew that menu by hard and was able to share his opinion and give descriptions of all the foods. My penne alla vodka was delicious. It was a little smaller portion but it filled me up. You could really tell that it was homemade. The taste of everything was so prominent. If you're looking for amazing Italian food, this is the place to go.

Yelp
Had a five pm reset before the comedy show. We arrived at 4:30 and they allowed us in to have drinks at the bar. The restaurant is beautiful and already set for dinner. Cosmos were really good! The bartender was great and convinced my friend to try something new. She loved it. Dinner was amazing. We ordered chicken parm and rigatoni bolognese. No time for dessert. Next time for sure.

Yelp
I visited DeVito's with a large group of 12 on a Friday night. We had a reservation. Our table was ready when we arrived but they gave us a few minutes to rally our group together. Our server quickly started with drink orders and was efficient with the drink and food order taking for such a large group. I ordered a glass of red wine lobster ravioli. There were large chunks of lobster on the ravioli. There were only 5 pieces and theoretically it was a small portion but I actually took home two pieces and it was wonderful the next day. My husband ordered a veil dish which was also excellent. They put gratuity on our checks as we had a large group and spilling among couples was no problem. It was a good experience for a large group!
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great experience at Devito's with good wine selection, good food and service. Every single pasta dish we ordered was excellent!! My husband left his credit card at the restaurant and the manager went out of his way to hunt him down while he was crossing the street the following day. Amazing!!!!! We will be back next time we are in Tampa
google avatar

Yelp
Nice location for an Italian meal conveniently located in the central business district of downtown Tampa. It is not quite at the level of Donatello, Malio's, or Olivia but the Rigatoni Bolognese that two of my lunchmates had looked great, and my seafood salad was very fresh, tasty, and nicely plated. The service was also good, although I wish that she would have quit apologizing about how busy she was. Everything came out timely, so there was no reason to distract from the experience with all of the unnecessary apologies. Nice menu. Clean. I'll probably be back.
google avatar

Yelp
We arrived right as they opened for dinner service and I will say the service was PAINFULLY SLOW. Lots of server chit chat, walking around on cell phones and just generally ignoring us as the only table in the restaurant on a Saturday night. We actually had to get up and ask for a pen to sign our bill at the end of this dining experience because we were never given one and needed to leave after 15 minutes of waiting around. Moving on to the actual restaurant atmosphere and food. The place is beautiful and tasteful other than the very giant fake tree directly in the center as well as cheap tattered place mats set out on the table. The food was expensive and the menu was not very expansive considering how many options there are for Italian cuisine. I was not impressed by either meal we got and the red sauce was incredibly acidic. The drinks were okay, but there were not enough redeeming qualities of this restaurant for me to return.
google avatar

Danette P.

Yelp
The food was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was great. I had the lobster ravioli. The only frustrating thing was they added a service charge on our bill for using a credit card to pay the bill. We had not anticipated bringing cash with us and felt frustrated. We had to pay a surcharge to use our credit card.

Yelp
The restaurant opens at five and I was let in the restaurant at about 10 after five. I was waiting outside the front door. I went in and I sat at the bar. When I see myself at the bar, I was greeted by a gentleman who I believe his name was Tyler. Identified himself as the general manager. He was also acting as the bartender that night so he was my waiter. Unfortunately, the two star rating centers around the fact that the service was horrible. I'm including a video from my seat at the bar when I was wanting to get my check and as you can see, there's no one in site. I had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to bring my check and it was not even my waiter who ended up bringing my check. I believe it was someone who either worked in the kitchen or a waiter from out on the floor somewhere. The food here is AMAZING! From the presentation of the food down to the taste of the food it's amazing! At least what I had was amazing and I had what they consider their fried mozzarella cheese and I had chicken Parmesan and both of those were the best I've ever had. They have a respectable wine list. I was really wanting dessert, but I didn't want to subject myself to any further unnecessary wait time sitting at the bar. I would probably go back, but I definitely would not want Tyler to be my server.
google avatar

Yelp
We were in downtown Tampa to enjoy the Christmas parade and came across this gem of a place. The atmosphere is very nice and charming. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken parm and the penne vodka. When our meals arrived my daughter noticed that her penne had Prosciutto which she specifically asked to not be added. Our server immediately apologized and took her plate away. He quickly returned with the correct meal. Our dinners were delicious. I would highly recommend DeVito's Italian restaurant and we will certainly be returning.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
The ambiance was great for date night it wasn't very busy which was a good thing but I feel like it would have almost been a better vibe if it was a little busier for a Friday night. I'm not a huge fan of Italian so I don't have much to compare it to but the dishes were both good, classic cheesy and saucy . Just a short walk away from the main parts of downtown Service was good and I have no complaints I just don't love pasta for the prices
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks. Great service. Nice location. If you are looking for an upscale Italian mean I would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Traditional Italian restaurant in Downtown Tampa with either large round tables or long rectangular ones. The place a bit loud probably because of the high ceilings which carry sound. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. We ordered a bottle of Moscato and she kept it nice and cold and kept the glasses full. To start we ordered the Eggplant Parmesan appetizer and the Sicilian Rissotto Ball which were both good. The Eggplant was sliced a little too thin and not very crispy but the sauce was delicious. The Rissotto ball was just eh Onto our main entrees, we ordered the Penne a La Vodka with grilled chicken - was on point The Branzino fish with grilled vegetables was pretty good not my favorite but good.
google avatar

Yelp
Nothing spectacular, nothing bad either. A solid middle of the road Italian restaurant. I will say the $15 smoked old fashioned is the smokies I've ever seen in my life. They bring it out in a tray with a cover on it, then open it in front of you as it smokes up the entire room. I enjoyed the $16 polpettes (meat balls) however, you only get 2 of them. They tasted good though. The $24 rigatoni bolognese was good, not great. The restaurant is small, solid middle of the road spot.

Yelp
Went here after work for business dinner and was so surprised at how good it all was. This is a block from my office and I never knew it was here. The inside is nicely decorated, classy but not over the top. The service was awesome. Our waiter was too funny. Started with the fresh focaccia bread with oil: perfection. I had the chicken parm which is always my test option.!it was excellent! Nice crispy char on the edges, fresh mozzarella draped over the sides. The sauce was fresh and sweet. The wines were also very good. Enjoyed it so much ordered for lunch this week. Picture above. Eager to come back with friends for a great Italian meal.

Amanda C.

Yelp
I stopped by on a whim while solo traveling. The wait staff took wonderful care of me in a cozy corner where I quietly sampled the menu and read my book. The lobster was out of this world. I finished the night with a cappuccino and piece of cake. Perfection.
google avatar

Lorri D.

Yelp
This is a real hidden gem in downtown Tampa! The food is authentic Italian and so yummy, the waitstaff is welcoming and doesn't rush you...the drinks were also done thoughtfully to include a stamped ice cube. I love DeVito's - give it a try if you're downtown!

Yelp
The food was amazing, but OUR service was appallingly deficient. I took my wife here first her birthday and only after ordering did we hear a female watress explain to the table next to us about the specials. Our waiter, a male with a blonde streak on top didn't even offer parmesan cheese to my wife's order of papardelle with lobster. The other female waiter did offer that to her table. If I was the owner, I would be pretty upset that although the chef's team made a killer dish, customers left treated as third class citizens over a pretty pricey tab. The ambiance was perfect, but I cannot in good coincience recommend this hit or miss service to anyone. But I will say, as an owner, I would ensure consistency which here was sorely missed. Our waiter was pretty absent time and time again and efforts to waive him to bring the check were missed. Again, I feel for the kitchen staff that did their job only to be pooped on by third world service. Saturday night, half the tables empy...now I know why! My 4 stars are kind...and only to give credit to the chef.
google avatar

Charles D.

Yelp
I wish I could give it a ZERO!!! We ordered from there tonight the escarole and the sausage rings. They didn't have either. They didn't contact us until the Uber driver arrived so I said send arancini instead. $18 for a rice ball that is the size of a tennis ball and has the same amount of flavor. Never again. Stay away from this place. The manager is also very rude.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Great location & even better food. The service was absolutely amazing too. I might be bias because this is where me & my boyfriend rekindled our relationship lol. The food was fresh & tasted absolutely amazing & authentic. Our drinks were strong & delicious. For starters we got the house made focaccia bread & it was the best I've had anywhere. It was perfectly salted and had the greater texture. Next our server explained to us what was the chef's special that evening. An Italian Grilled cheese with marinara sauce. We immediately ordered and did not regret a single bite. Layered cheese wedged in between 3 slices of housemade bread, deep fried. It was great! I got the rigatoni bolognese which was absolutely delicious. Definitely returning for another date night!
google avatar

Deborah K.

Yelp
When you walk in you automatically feel the elegance. The black cushioned seats, the globe lighting, and the inside trees truly add to the ambiance. Plus they make their own pasta! The chicken parm was spot on too. Not to heavy on the crust, juicy chicken cutlets, and amazing garlic & onion red sauce. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. Definitely recommend for a date night with your honey.

Gabriel K.

Yelp
Marco was great and the food was really good. Will be coming back. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and fancy!

Michael D.

Yelp
Came to celebrate my besties birthday with a large group -- we had a reservation and got sat down right away -- the interior looks great and the service was fantastic. My only complaint is that the menus are annoyingly large which isn't really a big deal. I got the burrata e bresaole as an app and it was very good along with the Italian 75 to drink. For the main I had the Rigatoni Bolognese which was good but not great, I should've been more adventurous. The bucatini was popular in our group but I think the most liked dish was the Chicken Parmigiana. The only disappointing food was a seafood pasta special I tried, I love garlic and my dish had a full roasted clove in it which was great but all I could taste in the seafood pasta was raw garlic. For dessert I got the tiramisu which was absolutely delicious. I also tried the bourbon apple crisp gelato and it was just as good! Overall I would definitely come back but would want to try something different for my main.

Julie A.

Yelp
Service was amazing but food was upsetting it looked so good to be under seasoned very disappointing and the price range its at i expected to taste some of the best tasting cuisine but very disappointed beautiful place though for the ambiance is 10/10.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
My friend picked this restaurant for a Friday night dinner. It has a good location right downtown with easy street parking. Nice ambiance inside. We started with some focaccia and drinks. I had the chicken parmigiana entree for dinner. The portion was massive! It was pretty good. You must love garlic to order this, lots of big chunks of fresh garlic in the sauce. They were pretty busy and we waited a while for our entrees but our server was very nice.

Yelp
We loved our experience here. Great venue, food was really good and our service was outstanding. This place felt like a good balance between old school and modern Italian. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
To paraphrase Danny's quote, I walked practically a million blocks to get here. You see, I had originally taken rideshare to a different Italian restaurant suggested by the front desk crew at my hotel. However, that spot was booked for ostensibly an hour. Since my heart & belly were set on Italian, I looked on Yelp mobile and found DeVito's. Thinking it was close, I actually ended up walking the wrong way and back (great way to explore a city!) When I finally sat at the bar, I was ready to indulge! I started with a refreshingly crisp glass of Ferrari Carano Fume Blanc, which after my walk was a perfect lead-in to the tender & juicy meatball "appetizer" served in a hearty sauce I enjoyed. I put "appetizer" in quotes because it was a very generous portion. My main, equally tasty, was the rigatoni bolognese. The noodles had a perfect texture, just a notch past al dente, with flavorful veal and pork. Basil leaves on top add a nice touch. Dessert? I enjoyed the ricotta cheesecake with sweet cream bound by fluffy bread. With my Old Fashioned night cap, complete with two cherries, it was well worth the walk and great as a Last Meal (in Tampa :)

Yelp
Excellent service from Evelyn and the whole staff that made our dinner a family visit. The food was great and family oriented ambience. Great night all around!!!

Yelp
Beautiful decor in an intimate setting. Started with the Arancini Ripieni (good but would benefit from more cheese and meat), the Burrata (refreshing pop of flavor), and the Prosciutto Avvolto (really good). Entrees included Costata di Maiale alla Milanese(a little bland but good portion size) and the ravioli(delicious sauce). Service was average, and pricing was adequate. Overall, it is a nice date night spot.

Yelp
great atmosphere and service followed by a fantastic product - good food. enjoyed our time both at the bar and at the table. as with all recommendations i suggest increasing prices then offering a discount for using cash. the reverse is irritating given we all use credit cards now.

Yelp
Quaint little Italian restaurant in downtown Tampa. Don't let the portions fool you the amount of flavor in each dish packs a punch and will fill you right up. Impeccable service and I highly recommend the Penne a la Vodka, if I could go back and eat it for the first time again I would. What the chefs are doing there is incredible

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE service. have never been treated worse by waitstaff. food was great but the service was so terrible that we will not be back. with a nice and warm waiter and bartender the place would be great but without, the place is horrible.

Yelp
Delicious Italian restaurant located in downtown Tampa. We had a reservation and we were seated right away. I was surprised it was relatively empty on a Thursday evening. Service was excellent, our server knew the menu and gave great recommendations. We began with a lovely bottle of red wine. They have a wonderful wine list as well as craft cocktails and full bar. We started with the Bresaola: fresh Burrata cheese paired with dry cured beef carpaccio drizzled with truffle oil and the Eggplant parmigiana appetizer. Both were very tasty, with good flavor. For my main meal I had the Branzino al Forno: two filets topped with white wine, garlic & herbs, served with roasted vegetables and my friend had the chicken parmigiana. I loved the flavor of the Branzino, nicely cooked. Of course we had to have dessert at an Italian restaurant. We had the chocolate temptation, definitely very rich but I do love chocolate so to me it was perfect. There's parking available on the street close by. Closed Sunday and Monday, open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Friday and Saturday for dinner.

Yelp
We had a team lunch here and the food and service was amazing! We started with the bruschetta and meatballs both delicious! Also make sure to ask for the bread it's amazing and made in house! We all ordered different entrees but the pollo Milanese was a favorite! I feel like we found a hidden gem will definitely return!

Yelp
This is specific to our experience with Tyler, whom we were told was the manager and server for another table. Our party of six had a good time initially and very happy with the food. All of this was overshadowed by a large party of 20+ that was loud and cheering so often that we were unable to hear ourselves. This is different than a loud restaurant- it was one loud party. We asked they be addressed professionally and their server (Tyler) to talk to them about the volume and he would not. I am confident if they were even aware that their volume was bothersome for another group, they would have been thoughtful with their volume. After two requests and no action we decided to end our meal early and went to the hotel restaurant across the street. That place filled up and we could still hear each other. This was a highly disappointing experience.

Yelp
Food and service was sooo good! We tried a couple drinks and the prosciutto appetizer which was so good! The music and environment was a great date night atmosphere
