Best Restaurant Patios for Outdoor Dining in Boston | Eater Boston

"This one’s quite sizable for a hidden patio, but it’s away from the street, set back down an alleyway next to the restaurant. The Brighton bar and grill has a patio featuring a mix of covered and uncovered sections, and there’s a shipping container bar that serves frozen drinks. Patio seating is first come, first served." - Tanya Edwards

My “margarita pizza” was a crust that was so hard I couldn’t get a knife through it. There was cheese, and fresh mozzarella melted into the other cheese, with a sprinkle of diced tomatoes on top. I use the term melted loosely. I couldn’t tell what was cheese and what was hard cracker crust. It was completely white, like it hadn’t even been in an oven. No sliced tomato, no basil. It was horrible. Service was terrible. We had to ask for sweetener for iced tea 3 times, salt and pepper, even napkins. The person delivering the good was not who took the order and he delivered our food to the wrong table. And it was ridiculously expensive for what we got. I was there a week ago, on a weeknight and the food was good, service great. But Sunday evening it was so bad I don’t want to go back. I didn’t want to make a scene, but should have sent the food back.

Google
Food: we got the chicken birria quesadilla, tuna, Poké bowl and Nashville chicken Caesar wrap. Everything was prepared well, I love the tuna poke mix with the sweet soy sauce which made every bite with the rice perfect. The quesadilla was pretty good. It’s simple with cheese and chicken seasoning. The guacamole that came with the quesadilla was pretty good, but I do think the birria sauce could be more flavorful. It was a little bit bland. Service: we sat at the bar and our bartender was really attentive and made sure that we had everything we need for our meal. Ambiance: it’s a pretty casual vibe with a wide range of audience coming in to either watch the game or just getting a quick bite. It’s rather spacious having two sides of the bar and a full selection of dining and patio seating. Location accommodation: there is parking on the side throughout the street.

Beautiful and clean patio in the back, not too crowded Saturday afternoon. Perfect place to grab food and drink with friends. The food is great, wings are flavorful with the blue cheese sauce. The croissant Benedict is great and very filling. Our waitress seemed to be unhappy today with frowned faces all day. Probably because of the hot sun. But she is still good and attentive person. My friend gave her a great tip and hoped to give her something to smile for.

Google
As a bar this place is good. However, the food was great. I ordered "Korean fried cauliflower." The cocktails were fine. The server was nice and friendly. The place was crowded, I would recommend making a reservation before you go there if you are planning to go to a party of six people.

Google
I’ve been a regular at Devlin’s for over 2 years and this review is long overdue! My family threw a surprise bday here for me which was also a blast. The food is amazing, lots of comfort food items and also fun desserts, drinks, and apps. The patio is an absolute gem, one of the best in greater Boston. Can’t say enough good things and highly recommend giving Devlin’s a try!

Google
Had Mothers Day lunch here and sat out on the patio. Such a cute place! Lots of options and variety on the menu. We had a Rueben, Benny Biscuit and Fried Noodles for meals and all were excellant. Prices are reasonable and service was attentive. Highly recommend!

Google
Food was good and the outside seating was awesome, definitely a place to be once summer hits. The Korean Fried Cauliflower was incredible to start with.

Google
My family took me here for my 60th birthday. From start to finish it was great. Jill our waitress was brilliant!! Food came out quick and hot and everyone loved their dinner. In Boston? Eat here!

Yelp
Not sure why the poor reviews. Came in for late dinner, atmosphere is a loud but classy sports bar vibe. Two large bar areas, dinning area, with multiple TVs with live sports. They do happy hour Monday- Friday Happy Hour 4-6pm. With $1 oysters! We were too late for happy hour but from a local friend's recommendation, this was the spot for a good Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It is listed as Hot Chicken Sub, and it is some of the best I've had!! I would HIGHLY recommend with the truffle fries as a side. I'd come back again for this every time! Great service from the staff and they also recommended the sub as well. would definitely give this place a try!

Yelp
Wanted to try a new spot with pub food and a variety of options. Decided on Devlin's. We had House Nachos as starter (I liked them, maybe more chicken would make better? Regardless, worth a try. Meal: Confit Chicken Pot Pie (one of the better ones I've had) Dessert: Eggnog Cheesecake (super tasty and unique)

Yelp
Lovely to eat outside on a nice day! Really enjoyed the setting. The food was ok but nothing amazing. The frozen mule was unique, but I ordered the peach one and didn't taste much peach. I did really enjoy the truffle fries and the pretzels were pretty good. I also ordered the Cesar salad which was ok. It was a bit upsetting though that the focaccia croutons were more like shavings of crouton.

Yelp
Great bar in downtown Brighton for meeting with friends/watching a game/grabbing something to eat. Ive been around 10 times and the food was great 9 of those times. Great flatbreads, burgers, appetizers, etc. Drinks are hit or miss. Amazing espresso martini, horrendous sangria (the waitress even warned us, we should have listened). I get their spicy margarita, and its pretty solid. Great service, ambiance, lots of TV's for games. I come pretty frequently for a reason!

Yelp
Not sure why Devlin's only has 3 and 1/2 stars. I had a solid 4 and 1/2 star experience here for lunch on a weekday. I will go with a round up 5 to help their average. I looked at some of the negative reviews and saw two themes ... people who don't write many reviews and brunch. Take that for what it is worth. I was impressed with all the seating here. Very chill vibe and space thru out. They also played some good tunes when I was in. Maybe the highlight for me was that Devlin's has a really great outdoor area. Seems perfect for taking advantage of the nice days in the Northeast. I am from MA but live in Miami now ...and know how much you want to take advantage of all the nice days in this neck of the woods. I experienced Exceptional service ...from the time I was greeted thru the whole meal, I could not have asked for more. Gabriella waited on me and she was perfect, very efficient and friendly. I ordered a couple of IPAs and a Reuben. I asked for a modification on my sandwich. There was no problem with that and it came out as requested. I noticed some Vegan friendly options on the whole menu. I would take my vegan lovers here. I saw some Fried Plantain Tacos that looked perfect for them on the menu. Overall two thumbs up. Devlin's hit the spot. Cheers.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and the bennie was pretty good but nothing memorable. The drinks left a lot to be desired. The bloody mary looked pretty from the garnishes, but was very bland, it tasted like plain tomato juice with a touch of horseradish - no Worcestershire or anything to add flavor or dimension. The Irish coffee also looked nice but the booze had a really sharp bite and left me with an immediate headache, even several glasses of water and Advil hours later. Service was good and the ambiance was nice. If the drinks had been better I'd return for drinks, but they were bad-mediocre. The draw for us was boozy brunch, maybe we should have ordered beer instead of cocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
Great bar/restaurant. The drink list was creative and perfectly seasonal. I had the summer sangria and it was unique and delicious. The options of food origins and flavors is vast. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad, which was perfect, but, I wanted to get the chicken Lo mein. Our friends ordered the smoked brisket sandwich which looked phenomenal. Massive as well. We also stared with the foot long cheese stick, the best nachos in town, and cauliflower that was to die for. The service is the best, the waitress did an amazing job taking care of our loud party of 8. The manager came over a couple times to check on us, even gave one friend a free desert for the occasion. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Brenda M.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriends go to spot! Casey the manager is amazing. She always makes it a point to come by and welcome us! Our server Greg was delightful and recommended the raspberry lemon drop martini. it was 10/10. Great server will be back tomorrow

Yelp
Had a great time here. I hadn't been in a number of years and it was better than I remembered it. The food was outstanding. We got a mix of apps and meals we shared. A sausage and pasta with broccoli rabe and vodka sauce dish was beyond description delicious. The pepperoni pizza was excellent and the burrata was maybe the best I've had. The pretzel bites were good too. Inventive cocktails in addition. The outdoor deck is among the best in Boston as well. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We stopped at this location because it was close to where we were staying. We were delightfully surprised with the atmosphere, quality of the dishes, and overall experience. The pumpkin ravioli was sweet and savory wrapped into one. The mozzarella sticks were juicy and crunchy with a chunky, garlicky, tomato sauce. The Italian Sausage Bucatini could've passed for handmade pasta. It was the perfect combination of saucy and cheesy with al dente broccolini and Italian sausage which was flavorful, without being overpowering. The pumpkin cheesecake was decadent, but the honeycomb ice cream was the star of that show. We couldn't get enough of the fresh strawberry combined with the ice cream.

Yelp
Had a lovely meal on Monday night with my partner at Delvin's! Very lovely and attentive service from both Natasha and her trainee, Kirsten! Drinks came super fast, the food was great, and the service was outstanding :)

Yelp
I love Devlin's! Love the people and kind staff that add charm to little ol' Brighton :) Food: The small plates make it great for conversation. I love the Korean cauliflower - sweet, tangy, and crisp! The antipasti plate was good for a shareable snack. Drinks: Summer sangria is always a hit! The bartender was so nice. Tip well because he was working 3 jobs as a father! Ambiance: I recommend especially for the summer sitting outside on their patio seating! At night, the string lights add fun

Yelp
Love this place! They have a really cute outdoor area which is perfect for weekend brunch. We started with some iced coffee and cocktails. The strawberry lemonade and prickly pear margs were awesome. The service was a little slow, but no big deal. I had the chicken + waffle sandwhich which was served with sweet potato tots. It was monstrous and I had two meals out of it! The sandwich had two huge fried chicken cutlets, a sunny egg, bacon, and guac. There was maple syrup and habanero salso on the side. This was a huge splurge for me and it was so worth it!! YUMMM.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
OMG! The fish and chips is the best ever, hands down! The rest of their menu looks just as tantalizing! What an amazing find!

Yelp
Used this beautiful weather as an excuse for Saturday brunch at Devlins! We showed up a little after 10am and were the first ones there! Seating inside looked nice but we opted for outside. They have quite a large patio, with a small outdoor bar area with tvs. It got busy by 12 so make sure to have a reservation or get there on the earlier side. Menu had a great range of options and tons of vegetarian options too. We ordered the breakfast tots, avocado toast, and veggie shakshuka. Food was great all around and while we didn't get any drinks the drink menu looked great. Staff was attentive and again the outdoor seating was great! Prices were a little high but not bad at all. A fun brunch spot if you don't wanna go downtown. Brunch menu isn't available online but I attached some images.

Yelp
I would give 3.5 if I could. Service was great. I tried my daughter's pesto filled gnocchi and it was divine. My husband enjoyed his generous serving of fish and chips. My steak tip salad was a disappointment. The tips were cooked just as asked, but were very bland. I like that they leave a carafe of water on the table. The other diners with me enjoyed their selection of adult beverages. I like that the use Toast for settling the bill so my credit card isn't taken away from me.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Great casual place with old school pub vibe, good food, and service! We went for brunch on Saturday and the menu has many options and portions are large. Service was professional and created a comfortable vibe for slow dining. A hidden low key spot. I'd come here again.

Yelp
Would not recommend this restaurant. We went here with my family for lunch and had a horrible experience. Our food took over 45 minutes to come out, and once it did, all of our meals were cold to the touch. I found hair in my tomato bisque soup and my brother, who has specifically asked for gluten free bread, had terrible stomach issues as they neglected to account for this, yet still charged us for the gluten free addition. When we addresses these issues with the waitress, she dismissed all of our concerns. Would suggest you look elsewhere.

Yelp
Cozy American bar in Brighton Center. We had great service and there was plenty of seating/ TVs. The few vegans options were pretty good and the drinks were good too.
google avatar

Alexa R.

Yelp
Super underwhelming overpriced brunch. The restaurant itself looks nice inside and has a nice modern feel. The table was super sticky, so much so your glass would stick to it when you would try to pick it up. We paid $100 (pre tip) for 3 drip coffees, 2 omelettes, Irish breakfast and corned beef hash. The corned beef hash was solid but very small portion. The most disappointing things were the omelettes that were a whopping $20 each. They came with one obviously pre frozen hash brown patty, toast and a slice of melon. The omelettes were flavorless and the ham in them was rubbery store bought cubed ham. Overall it tasted a lot like a mediocre hotel breakfast. Our server was friendly enough but we won't be back.

Yelp
This place is great! They add new things to the menu every season but keep the classics. I've been coming here for years and the staff is really amazing. Even during busy hours they work to make sure you're taken care of. During Covid they have made sure everything is clean but still offer specials and try to make customers happy. The truffle fries come out steaming hot and so delicious. The steak and fish are always great things to order. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite drink is the blackberry lemonade. In the hotter months, you can sit outside on their patio too which is nice. Definitely a spot you can always go to knowing you'll have a good meal and good service.

Yelp
When I lived in Brighton I loved going to Devlin's! This was my place! They have the best drinks, especially Sangria! I loved the food, it was delicious and they always had something new on the menu. I loved sitting out on the patio for brunch in the nice weather too. They had live music sometimes which was really good and very fun! Overall it is a great place to go for good food, drinks and a great experience!!!
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Great spot to grab brunch! I ordered the elote avocado toast and corned beef hash. Service was punctual, food was tasty. It looked like they were having an event the day I went. Looking forward to going again.

Yelp
Everything was way overpriced for its quality. For example, I ordered 2 appetizers (the salmon ceviche and popcorn shrimp) each for $13. The salmon ceviche was served with rebought stale tortilla chips u could find at any convenience store and the fish tasted as if it was out for a while. The shrimp poppers were not bad but definitely not worth $13. The drinks had no flavor as if they were watered down. I ordered a spicy marg and couldn't taste any lime juice or spice until the very end of the drink. Thank god our server took off half the price of our final bill once we discovered a hair in our chips... long story short, I'm not coming here again. Ps: I usually don't go around giving places negative reviews.. I'm not that petty. BUT, seeing how this was the place I decided to spend my Friday date night... I wish I could have made a more informed decision by reading a truthful review.

Yelp
This is my fourth time at Devlin's. I've been here twice for brunch and once for dinner. Devlin's interior decor is cozy and cute. It's a great place to bring friends for a casual brunch or to bring a date for dinner. We came on Saturday afternoon and there was no wait as opposed to other brunch places around the area. I ordered the Benny with smoked applewood ham and John ordered the Devlin's burger. The Benny was okay. I've had better Benny's before. It came with fruit and with a hash brown. The egg wasn't as runny as I would have preferred and the biscuit wasn't very tender. The hash brown wasn't very crispy and the flavors were mediocre. The burger was amazing. It was juicy, flavorful, and came with the best fries. John would also like to mention that the pickle was bomb. Ambience: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Decor: 5/5
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
This place was great! Service was fast and the food was yummy. I got the fried fish and french fries, but my friend was all over the burger. The only thing is that the atmosphere is INCREDIBLY loud, and even more so during peak hours.
google avatar

Sarish B.

Yelp
If you are going to have a cheat day there's nothing better than sriracha tatter tots and eggs Benedict with lox. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and another staff member from afar noticed my friend split something on her own handbag, so she brought her some club soda. Her efforts were greatly appreciated! The brunch food was good nothing spectacular though. Personally, I wasn't keen on our dining location in the restaurant. The booth was a bit small for five girls and my server charged me for something my friend ordered. I'm sure it was an honest mistake.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot in Brighton center and great people working there .. food wise was up to par and somewhat exceeded my expectations.. I got a steak salads medium rare and it's cooked perfectly now I would like it. It was a pretty big portion with decent price. I also had steak with mash potatoes and asparagus here before also and it's average and I think they could have done better with Marinating. All in all it's a great spot to come by for drinks and grab a good decent meal once the lockdown's over .
google avatar

Julia P.

Yelp
It's okay! Good spot for a quick bite and good food. For a Wednesday evening the service was rather slow/our drinks were forgotten about a few times. The nachos were good but our entrees were just okay. The Buffalo chicken pizza had at least a half inch thick layer of cheese that we had to peel off, and the truffle fries were all the tiny little bits of fries from the bottom of the fryer and didn't taste like truffle at all. The eggplant Parmesan ciabatta sandwich was very good though!
google avatar

Cassie L.

Yelp
Great food and drinks, with an awesome atmosphere outside! Super cute and perfect for summer
google avatar

Nicki L.

Yelp
This bar/restaurant was just ok! Average service, food, and ambience. I liked my fish tacos, but my friend wasn't a fan of her pizza. It was very busy on a Friday evening, more than I would've liked during these covid times. It wasn't a bad experience, but nothing really wowed me!

Kenny A.

Yelp
Nice ambience for a fine dining restaurant, Steak was good, Nice drink selections, a bit small for its restaurant style though, still a nice spot if your in the area.

Yelp
Review for brunch only -- went here on a whim on a Saturday, and perhaps we didn't order the right things, or maybe they're just better at dinner food. To start, we got the trio of spring rolls ($12), which are three large spring rolls with different fillings - buffalo chicken, pepperoni mac and cheese, and "steak bomb". In my opinion, the one with mac&cheese was just weird, and the texture of the macaroni just didn't work in that format. The buffalo chicken was really heavy on the blue cheese, which I didn't mind but my boyfriend didn't love. We thought it could've used more spice. The steak bomb was our preferred of the three, but still not great. We both ordered the poached eggs+bacon ($16) which comes with avo toast on cranberry pecan bread, a hashbrown, and some fruit. The avo was actually guac. It didn't taste that fresh, and I think plain avo would've worked better with the flavor of the bread -- this was too bad because the bread was actually really good. The poached eggs were a bit overcooked, and the hashbrown was almost too crispy on the outside but soft and not flavorful on the inside. Again, it's likely we just didn't order the right things, but there really shouldn't be right and wrong things to order at a restaurant, especially at this price point. Overall, there was just too much going on with both of the dishes we tried, and the flavors weren't really harmonizing or making that much sense.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been to Devin's several times in the past but haven't been in a couple years. Stopped in while in town with some friends. We sat outside in the back. It is a nice area outback with a good amount of seating. The service was very slow. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was just alright. I got the prosciutto and fig pizza with cauliflower crust. The edges of the crust were overcooked and burnt. The prosciutto was added to the pizza after it was cooked, making it a bit chewy. I wish the prosciutto was cooked on the pizza to make it crispier. The other people I was with ordered a blackened chicken sandwich, however the chicken was plain and wasn't blackened. The sweet tots didn't come with ketchup, so we had to ask. We also ordered a burger. It was just average and nothing special. This trip was a bit disappointing compared to some of my previous experiences.
google avatar

Brooke L.

Yelp
A casual spot to go for drinks after work or for a weekend bite to eat. I'd recommend sitting outside on the patio. American food with an interesting twist. The side dish of sweet potato tater tots was super tasty, however this place wasn't anything special. I will probably try Brighton Bodega right next door the next time I'm in the area.

Dan B.

Yelp
We walk in for brunch and wait at the host stand. The host comes over and he doesn't bother lookin at us Once the entire interaction. Eyes fixed on some screen thing, which probably had to do with work but still. You're the host, look at people when you talk to them. We sit and the waitress eventually comes over, she seemed disgruntled, maybe?. Just a totally uncomfortable atmosphere set by her; little to zero eye contact when speaking to us, made us feel like we were a total nuisance to her, didn't want to be there type of attitude. Fast forward to food getting there and when we told her the food was undercooked she literally said "cool". So we send it back to be cooked a little longer, and it comes back with a hair on it. She eventually notices that we aren't eating and she at least took that plate off the tab. Which I was so pissed I didn't even care to check. Couldn't wait to leave. Sad part is I used to go there all the time. Just an awful experience. I understand businesses are very short on people and it's tough on the workers in the restaurant businesses but that was just absurd.

Tee S.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things. Cozy and festive atmosphere. Vegan pepperoni pizza was terrific, never would have known it was "fake". Apple cake dessert was one of best desserts ever, full of brown sugar, cinnamony, garnished with apple slices and strawberries. Delicious! And waitstaff so so friendly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I recently decided to try Devlins, after seeing glowing reviews but also, my mom always wanted tp try this place, but she passed away a few weeks ago. So, in her honor I came here by myself for lunch during the week. I ordered the BABY HEIRLOOM TOMATO + BURRATA salad. It certainly looked gorgeous when it arrived at table, but it honestly wasn't very good, the greens were well past their freshness date and the baby heirloom tomatoes were not good. But this year, the tomato crop was a challenge, still they could have shopped around for better produce. And, for 17.00 bucks, in Brighton Center, not Newbury St, it should have been outstanding. Then I thought, maybe they are more known for their brunch, so I returned on Saturday. The service was awful, but I understand they were busy. This time around I ordered the Italian scrambled eggs and a mimosa. I really was not happy with the eggs and flavor, they were also a soggy mess. Again, the price tag, they should have been good. I am all about supporting small businesses and didnt complain. The crowd is mostly college or young professionals, so maybe that is their target audience. The patio is pretty though. The pictures below are the salad ordered fir lunch and not brunch.

Yelp
I would highly recommend it. It is a nice atmosphere, Covid protocols followed booths and tables cleaned after everyone leaves, servers were wearing masks. Food portions are a great, flavor was great, drinks that were on the specialty menu from the bar were also great. Waitstaff was helpful, friendly, and efficient. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Yelp
Sad to see they no longer have their tots app which was my favorite. I enjoy my experience every time I go. Although it has been several months I have been here several occasions order something new each time and it is always yummy. Pulled pork. Sushi bowls, ribs, burger, etc. all good. And cost efficient!

Andrew F.

Yelp
Really looked forward for lunch here after 1 1/2 years away. Service was great, and my wife's mahi-mahi tacos were delicious. However I was very disappointed with the turkey sandwich: wonderful thickly-sliced artisan bread, good slab of cheese, fresh basil all spoiled by the few folded pieces of processed turkey meat. These ingredients called for real turkey as did the reputation of this restaurant. In addition, the bread was not just grilled but was soaking in grease...ran off like a river as I tried to eat it from the quarter-inch slices of bread, and I needed to tie a napkin my neck to keep the oil off me. The fries too were oily...a dark brown with the smaller ones burnt black, ---all very greasy/oily. Fryer not at a high temp and items left too long. Didn't finish the sandwich or the fries. C'mon you guys can do better than this! It was a sad return to a favorite place...

Yelp
Loved this spot. Super chill vibe but high end tasting food. The drinks were great and the service was even better. I got the tres leches cake and that was so delicious. It was definitely on par with traditional tres leches. We ordered ALOT of food and it all came out perfectly to order!

Suzanne E.

Yelp
Very disappointing. We ordered the SPICY KOREAN RAMEN for $17, which was supposed to come with sweet garlic fried chicken. There was no chicken in sight, and the noodles were flaccid and broth was oppressively spicy. (Heat without flavor is artless and pointless.) We also ordered the HOUSE FRIED RICE for $20 which was also pretty bad - the rice was swimming in inordinately salty sauce, and the predominant or perhaps only flavor was soy sauce. The TUNA POKE for $19 was adequate, but the seasonings detracted from the tuna, rather than enhancing it. Almost forgot: we got the house fries, which generally come with a delicious curry sauce. This time, the curry container was mostly empty and the curry was plastered all over the inside of the package. It's not that hard to secure the cap on a four ounce Solo cup. A baggie and twist tie will get you there. We've been frequenting Devlin's for 18 years, and have supported them during the pandemic. I'm not sure if we are completely ruined for Devlin's but certainly we will give a hard pass to Asian fusion dishes from this restaurant. For us, they are an utter waste of money.

Claire G.

Yelp
Very overpriced for the quality and amount of food you'll get. Ordered a salad for takeout, refused to add an egg on to my salad bc it was a "special request" during dinner hours (please note, there were about 8 people total in the restaurant) salad was 20 dollars and rather small. They dressed it for me like a psychopath, thought it was pretty obvious you don't dress takeout salads. Everything was greasy and soggy when I got it. Flavors were there execution not so much

Yelp
I really liked the patio of devlin's but the food was average. Perfect for an outdoor gathering but appetizers were average..

Yelp
Good local spot! Lots of vegetarian options. We had the bucatini with vodka sauce and impossible sausage, and the fried plantain tacos. Both were great. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This is place gets 3.5 stars. The food is mediocre at best (based on what I ordered) and that's being generous. 3.5 stars is due to the wonderful service. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich which was a hot mess. It was not spicy which I can easily overlook. What I couldn't overlook was how instead of using a patty, they used tenders (more on this later). Additionally, under the tenders, they piled on a ton of shredded iceberg lettuce which made the bun a soggy mess that disintegrated upon picking it up. Ok fine, I decided to forgo the bun completely and eat the tenders with a fork and knife. That's when I realized that unlike every place on earth, even fast food restaurants, the chicken they used wasn't chicken breast but dark meat with big chunks of fat. I had to dissect it like a neurosurgeon but it was a lost cause and I gave up. I could have gone to Wendy's for a better spicy chicken sandwich. That's how pitiful this one was. The sweet potato tots were a generous portion and delicious. They were the saving grace and for that, I give my meal 2 stars. However, I had to eat when I got home because I was so hungry, which defeated the purpose of going out to eat. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals but this is based on my experience and I would not go back.

Yelp
A gem in Brighton! Awesome GF options, and even gluten free AND veggie burger options ((usually you have to pick one or the other) I'd recommend sitting at the bar for the best, personable service.

Yelp
I cannot say enough kind things about the manager at Devlins. This woman goes above and beyond what her job duties are. She is an asset in every possible way. From sweeping the sidewalk, recognizing neighbors and rectifying problems, this woman is a gem.

Yelp
I came here for brunch with a few friends and was for surprised by the menu, pretty much everything is $15-$20 dollars. It's weird that regardless of cost and difficulty of a dish they all cost the same. I got an omelette which honestly tasted like it had no seasoning at all and was pretty small for the price. They do have an extensive drink menu, but my mimosa just had a splash of champagne in it. Sad because this spot is very convenient for me, but too many good places around to go back to this one. They also have a nice big patio but don't allow dogs. What's the point?!
