This cafe has such a cozy, welcoming vibe…it feels like a little piece of Italy tucked away in the city. I had a vanilla latte, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while; smooth, rich, and so satisfying. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy the moment. I’ll definitely be back for both the coffee and the atmosphere✨😇.

Pizza with runny egg yolk! I’m into everything with egg yolk. Pistachio brownie is also awesome, not too sweet, and there is some salt on top, it can balance the sweetness. 🤩

I really like the design and the vibe of this cafe/restaurant. Very friendly staff who was super helpful and kind. Great pasta, and carpaccio, good tramisu and just okay Pizza to summarize the food exp.

We had such a great dinner here! Ordered the large 1 metre long pizza (marinated octopus one), a bowl of pasta (anchovies) and an order of meatballs. Great food and a nice, cozy restaurant. This is a great spot so make sure you check them out! If you like coffee, they also have a cafe side which is open during the day.

Italian style cafes like this seem pretty rare in Vancouver and this spot definitely does it the right way! I tried the pizza and had a double espresso and thought both were very good. The pizza style isn’t made with a lot of sauce, it’s mainly about the bread quality and toppings which were exceptional. The espresso is strong, as normal in these type of cafes. The cafe has a very fun interior, which made me feel like I was back in the Italian district in San Francisco. I would for sure come back to the cafe to try the sandwiches or go to the attached restaurant for the pasta next time! 🇮🇹 🍕 ☕️

I have been coming to Di Beppe Cafe very often ever since I first discovered it a month ago. This is an interesting place with its colourful paintings and unique light fixtures. The tables are all separated by plexiglass and the staff always sanitizes the tables and chairs, even the doors after a customer leaves. I really appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe. I usually get the fresh Americano coffee and breakfast croissant. The veggie pizza is full of flavour and very tasty, but a little too much olive oil. This is definitely my go-to place whenever I am in Gastown. P.S. They recently set up a beautiful outdoor seating area, it’s very nice.

Cozy Italian caffe in Gastown. This review is for the coffee shop. There is an Italian restaurant (Di Beppe, without the "Caffe") which makes up the other half of the space. Parking is very limited here. Try the side streets closer to Chinatown. The place is pretty dimly lit. Good for people watching in the evenings. Staff are friendly. Looks like the coffee here is made fresh, as it takes a while for them to crank out the orders. The coffee is pretty solid, though the cup sizes are a bit small. Not unexpected though. Good place to have a coffee and chat. Recommended.

The food was very authentic Italian food. The homemade tomato sauce was amazing!! Service was courteous and helpful. Easy walk to Gastown from downtown.

Good ambiance and coffee in a cute part of town /Gastown. The smell of pizza and pasta from the restaurant part of the cafe is amazing.

While having brunch, my friends and I were yelping around for a nearby coffee shop, and lo and behold came upon Caffe Di Beppe - which my friend recalled that she's seen posts about their cute coffee before. Although there are quite a number of local coffee shops in the Gastown area, Caffe Di Beppe truly stands out. Its large and spacious with plenty of seating and standing tables for all of the cute coffee photos you want to take for IG. They are attached next to the Di Beppe restaurant - which was closed on a Sunday while we visited. The staff (whom I assume maybe one of them was the owner?) were incredibly friendly and gave us recommendations when we couldn't decide between the ice cream we wanted for our affogato. We ended up with the latte flavored ice cream and it was absolutely one of the BEST affogato I've ever had. You can taste the strong espresso in the lattes and we all enjoyed our drinks. What a cute gem - will most definitely be back the next chance we get!

An island of good Italian pasta and pastries amongst the waves of tourists in historical Gastown. A street above the slightly discombobulated statue of 'Gassy Jack' can be found the victual oasis of Caffe Di Beppe. Simple, greasy, tasty, wholesome - KAPOW! I was lucky to find this place. All I was looking or was a pastry, which I found. I ended up staying for dinner after listening to the confessional siren song of the bartender who admitted his favorite dish was the lasagna. This dish happens to be my kryptonite. I had no choice but to order it. Crusty bottom level and layers of cheesiness that is impossible to defend yourself against. The culinary voyage ended with tiramisu and cappuccino. Afterwards I found myself once again at the feet of Gassy Jack. Satiated in a way only a good Italian restaurant can accomplish. Well done Caffe Di Beppe!

Been meaning to try cafe di beppe for quite some time. It did not disappoint. The cafe itself is quite small with only a few tables. The tables have the menu laid out, as well as an ordering list to fill. You check off the quantity of the menu items then bring it up to the front for ordering. We ended up getting meatballs, pizza (margherita with mozzarella di bufala), and cappuccinos. We really enjoyed the food and coffee at di beppe! Amazing food and atmosphere. They also have a restaurant attached to the cafe (it opens at 5). So will have to come back and check that out soon!

This was a great stop on a gloomy Sunday. I loved the yellow and blue vibe of this place (those tiles!). We only stopped for a quick coffee, but based on my cappuccino I would definitely go back and try their pizzas and baked goods. Until next time Caffe Di Beppe!

Wow wow wow wow wow Coffee is very authentic Italian. I'll grab an Americano a few times a week and drink it straight - gorgeous flavour and a great value. The treats are very fancy and feel like TREATS. My favourite for a day when I need a sweet pick-me-up is a baked phyllo cone filled with sweet vanilla cream. I think the coffee and treats are very affordable for the neighbourhood. And the cafe itself is beautiful - like stepping into a true Italian cafe. Once the sun goes down the space becomes very intimate and candle lit. The original tile of the historic Rainier Hotel make up the flooring and it looks beautifully in display here. I've seen a handful of restaurants move through this space in the past decade, I'm hoping this one lasts.

Unreal authentic italian food! So good we went back the next night! The pasta is awesome and the tiramisu is the best we've ever had!! We're both italian who love food so I think we're fair judges. Will definitely keep coming back!

The cafe is nice and cozy. A lovely spot to enjoy some coffee and a small bite. I came by and tried a few of their items. You can either order at the front or put your order down on the menu that's at every table and bring it up to them. Affogato (5/5): A bit on the small side but the ice cream was nice and smooth and the dark rich flavour of the coffee went so well with it. The cookie that came with wasn't as good though. Lasagna (3.5/5): Portion size of the lasagna was smaller than I expected and was stuck to the stainless steel plate that it came in. Otherwise I thought it was delicious. Pizza Rossa (2/5): When you charge $10 for pizza... I kinda expected a fresher larger pizza or even thincrust. This tasted like it was sitting out for the whole day and reheated in the oven for me. There weren't many cheese or tomato sauce. Wouldn't recommend get this. Food wasn't spectacular but service was good for a cafe.

First impression of this little cafe was great Tried their twist ice cream for an afternoon treat and was pleasantly surprised. Was it expecting it to be mediocre, but the soft serve had good texture and a hint of hazelnut taste to it. Cute spot, can't wait to go back to try more things

Vibes were good as well as service. The issue is the food was a bit mild and very under seasoned. Overall we had a great time but if you're a real foodie I'd say there are better options.

Great selection of authentic Italian deli food and coffee. Bring your friends and try as much as possible "family style". Most dishes by weight, so try as much as you like. Potato pecorino pizza was my fav. Delicious fresh salads. Save room for desert, Affogato (pictured) will be a staple summer treat for me.

Horrible service at Cafe Di Beppe. My friend and I made a reservation for 8:30 pm. I stood in the front waiting for around 10 minutes before I was told our table was not yet ready and we could take a seat at the bar. We waited a further 45 minutes to get a table. We ordered bruschetta at the bar to start, and that didn't arrive for 30 minutes. We were told that the "bill got lost" by the kitchen. In no way possible should tomatoes on toast take 30 minutes. After finally getting our table, I requested a modified dish due to a severe allergy. We included a note of the allergy when we made the reservation. I was told that the kitchen staff did not like modifying items so modifying any item for my allergy was not possible. I was given the singular option of a simple plain tomato sauce with rigatoni. The food was mediocre, as I could have easily made that meal myself at home and not spent $25 on a dish that probably costed the restaurant $3. Our waitress was rude, hardly spoke to us, and was visibly irritated by us asking to sample three wine selections. Will not be returning and will advise others to do the same.

Very interesting decor especially on the restaurant side. We stopped there to sit for a bit after walking from China town. The waiters were warm and welcoming and walked us through the happy hour specials. Had a cappucino and it was great. Would love to go back and sit for a while and sip their delicious coffee and some snacks.

This cute little gym recently opened. The best part is that they are open late which makes it very easy to get to after work. Small bites and coffee. Great way to just chill with friends over a latte and a small modest pastry. There are tons of selections which made me slightly overwhelmed in a good way. The prices are fair comparison to other coffee shops in around the area. I'm one of those crazy people who eats ice cream in the winter so it should come as no surprise that I have the twist ice cream... On a cold night. I was surprised how good this was. Softserve it's very hit and miss in the city. I paired this up with a small latte. Lots of seating inside and a good atmosphere. Very good customer service.

Really great Italian style caffe. I had the best traditional cappuccino I've ever had. Definitely coming back to try affogato and more of the food.

This place has a good pizza, you can share one of their pizzas and then try one of the desserts they feature. The coffee is good, authentic Italian, the cappuccino and the tea are amazing, good quality and the coffee has a very strong fresh smell. The servers are always attentive and with the right attitude to help and recommend you the specials. Also the happy hour deals are so good!

Supper nice view for photograph, great services and facilities. Always get a beautiful smile from the waiter even when you order a 2$ potato chips and sit there for 3 hours. This is my best coffee shop so far.
