Horrible service at Cafe Di Beppe. My friend and I made a reservation for 8:30 pm. I stood in the front waiting for around 10 minutes before I was told our table was not yet ready and we could take a seat at the bar. We waited a further 45 minutes to get a table. We ordered bruschetta at the bar to start, and that didn't arrive for 30 minutes. We were told that the "bill got lost" by the kitchen. In no way possible should tomatoes on toast take 30 minutes.
After finally getting our table, I requested a modified dish due to a severe allergy. We included a note of the allergy when we made the reservation. I was told that the kitchen staff did not like modifying items so modifying any item for my allergy was not possible. I was given the singular option of a simple plain tomato sauce with rigatoni. The food was mediocre, as I could have easily made that meal myself at home and not spent $25 on a dish that probably costed the restaurant $3.
Our waitress was rude, hardly spoke to us, and was visibly irritated by us asking to sample three wine selections.
Will not be returning and will advise others to do the same.
