Yelp
This is the most "Diamond in the Rough" restaurant I have ever been to. I had this restaurant recommended to me by a friend, but I never was around this area to try it. I just so happened to be attending the rodeo down the road so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I thought I had gotten the address to the restaurant wrong as I was getting to close to it. It's in a little of bit of a shifty area to be completely honest; not an area I would expect this place to be in. As soon as I walked through the front doors though I was greeted by an air of elegance. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the crab stuffed lobster and the person I was with had the lobster bisque bread bowl. We shared the calamari as an appetizer and we finished with a crème brûlée as a dessert. Everything was 10/10. Our waiter was extremely attentive and kind. I initially ordered a drink that I didn't like and he immediately grabbed me something else without a second thought. We also unfortunately were being attacked by flies having been sat by the window. The waiter immediately brought out this little table sized spinning fan device that kept all the flies away, it was great! 10/10 would totally recommend this place. You just might have to go a little bit out of you way to get to it. I would definitely recommend a reservation as well, the place was absolutely packed on a Saturday night.

Yelp
EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of our first visit here was amazing! Easy, on sight parking, Spotless Restaurant, Exceptional Staff and the Food Was Superb. Elegant dinning, classy patrons and huge portions of fresh, mouth watering food. We were seated immediately, our servers were at our side and wine was brought out directly. They filled our table with delicious free, family style appetizers of Antipasto, Tomato Pie and fresh bread. They allowed us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our appetizers, before bringing out crisp fresh salads with delicious homemade dressing. Soon thereafter, our main courses arrived; Chicken Marsala that melted in my mouth and a heaping plate of various sea food for my husband, which he said was outstanding. We've traveled all over America, as well Europe and have very high expectations when it comes to authentic cuisine. Having dinned throughout Italy and regularly eating my 2nd generation mother-in-laws Italian dishes, we can both honestly say, that DiPaolo's beat them all, hands down. On top of all of this, the prices were very reasonable and we went home with enough food for two more meals, each. Went to the bar to listen to the band afterwards; music was outstanding and, once again, service and atmosphere were perfect. Well worth traveling to dine in this A+ establishment!

Yelp
6/8/24 Visited my Sister, had her select a place for lunch ( and this was it ). Well upon driving to the Restaurant ( I was questioning...like Where are we ), areas having boarded up buildings, poverty zone and then turning a corner ( this Restaurant was there ) in the area described. Well long story short. You see my rating...and view the photos..and it was Dam good!!! I do Recommend it to anyone

Yelp
I've never had a bad meal at Di Paolo's. On this particular occasion, they had a special - Filet Mignon and crab cake with sides (pictured). They also had a special with 2 crab cakes....they were huge! Our server was a very nice young lady, and brought everything out (food, drinks) quickly and with a smile. This restaurant has a delightful atmosphere. Reservations are recommended since it can be very busy during dinner hours. I would recommend this restaurant - Try the Tomahawk!!!!

Yelp
I recently came to Di Paolo's for a Wednesday night dinner with my husband and son. I hadn't been here in years (though I did eat here all growing up) and my husband and son had never been. My son is only 8, and I don't think they offer a kids menu. But that's okay, we planned ahead for that. We parked outback in the lot and we were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. And sat right away. We were sat in the small, centrally located dining room, right in front of the wine cellar. We all loved that spot. You could also see the kitchen from our table. All 3 of us ordered the Wednesday night steak special. For $35 a person we each had our choice from 4 different salads, 3 different steaks and 4 different desserts. My son isn't a huge salad fan, so we had the server pack that to go. I had the classic Caesar and my husband had the wedge salad, we both really enjoyed our salads! For our steaks, I had the 8 oz filet mignon, my husband the 16 oz ribeye and we ordered the 16 oz NY strip for our son. Both my husband and I finished our whole steaks. They all come smothered in onions and mushrooms, which you can easily scrape off, as my son did. All came with mashed potato's, asparagus and carrots as well. The sides were all great also. My son's steak was HUGE, probably the largest of the 3 lol. He ate very little. We brought be rest home and my husband and I split the leftovers for dinner the next night. I will say, I think his cut of steak was my least favorite of the 3. For dessert I had creme brûlée, my husband had tiramisu and my son cherry cheesecake. We enjoyed all three!!! And for drinks, I had an Italian Stallion margarita & a Guinness. The cocktail was fantastic. My husband had had a chocolate martini and loved it and a glass of wine as well. My son, a Shirley temple. Overall we were really pleased with the entire experience and look forward to going back again soon. I will mention that they charge a 3% fee if you pay with card, which I think is ridiculous, but paid it lol. Next time I'll bring cash and I'll try another dinner deal or maybe brunch.

Kelsey M.

Yelp
Came her for a work outing and thought the entire experience was fantastic! Our server was super attentive and was able to answer all of our questions. The food was incredible!! All of the appetizers we had were delish (my fav was the spicy calamari). For dinner, I was really craving alfredo sauce and they were able to alter their chicken parm to have alfredo sauce and it was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was pretty busy for a Wednesday night and they had a DJ playing really cringy music, also was super loud as we were sat right by the DJ booth! The incredible service and food made up for this though! Looking forward to going back!

Yelp
I would have given 5 stars overall for the food as 3 of our party of 4 loved their food. 2 of them had the ribeye special, the ribeyes came perfectly cooked and they were huge with a mountain of crabmeat on them. The 3rd diner ordered the pasta with seafood and she loved her dish as well. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and I thought my main dish was ok, not great. The pasta was all stuck together and the meatballs were not very good. i thought the 'Sunday gravy' sauce was fine. The addition of the long hots and scoop of ricotta was interesting but not bad in any way. I've had better dishes of pasta however. I also had the spinach salad with dressing, nuts and blue cheese - as I am not a fan of blue cheese, I asked our waitress to have the blue cheese left off the salad. When I asked if that was possible, she said "absolutely". When I received my salad, she put it in front of me - with the cheese on it - and said, "I'm sorry, they don't speak English and so the cheese is on there, I hope it's ok". I find it hard to believe that she does not have the basic ability to say "no queso" but whatever. What was worse was she just plopped it in front of me, said "I hope it's ok" and then left. I'm not allergic to anything, but what if I was? She also let us know when our food suddenly appeared as we started into our salads that she had no idea why our food was early...and there was no room on the table as it was... The server was nice enough but at the same time, she was a bit scattered - and couldn't keep track of who ordered what nor who the credit card and bill went back to - we did leave a nice tip in spite of her lackluster performance. She was the reason I dropped 2 stars off of the review - it could have been 5 with better service. I am glad that we went, the food was perfectly fine, very good in fact - but it was not worth the 45 minute drive to Penns Grove for the meal and the service that we experienced since we have restaurants closer that offer the same level of food with better service.

Fran H.

Yelp
Been meaning to try this place for a while now the distance is what stopped me. Finally made the 45 minute trek to Penns grove to see what this place was about. Had a reservation and was promptly seated at 7:00. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but there is parking behind the restaurant although the lot was full I was able to street park. We were seated in a less lively room off to the right which felt slightly awkward only because the bar room was so different. I wished they at least were playing music you could hear to break the weird silence. The menus are quite large with a whole menu dedicated to cocktails and wine . The server came by after a long wait to get cocktail order. We started with a spicy tajin margarita and an old fashioned. The margarita came out looking good only weird part was instead of jalapeño in it there was a long hot cross section. The old fashion was nothing special booze heavy smaller drink glass. We didn't have any appetizer knowing that the antipasto and salad would be filling after reading reviews. We opted for the veal parmigiana dish with the mini ravioli and a seafood pasta is a blush sauce with crab, scallops and shrimp. Asked the waiter if we could change the pasta selection he said "no I'm sorry chef rules". That's rather annoying as this is a simple switch not altering the integrity of the dish/ingredients. The dinner is served with bread basket , tomato pie and antipasto which is a great start. You also have choice of 4 salads wedges, strawberry spinach, Cesar, or house garden. The illusion is that it comes free with your meal but trust me as the price point of the entrees clearly demonstrates your paying for that starter app and salad selection. The service improves as the meal went on. Portion sizes were generous borderline wasteful as we're bad leftover eaters. All in all the taste was good. It was a long drive for what I feel like I have closer. A definite restaurant to try. Review based on the distance, neighborhood, service , price point and inability to make a simple request . All in 168.00 for 2 people one cocktail each no appetizer or dessert. You do the math.

Yelp
Di Pablo's is the real deal! I recently had one of the best meals in years at their Friday happy hour buffet - no filler items, just pure culinary delight. The ribs were top-notch, and the shrimp? Absolutely excellent. But let's talk about those snow crab legs - hands down, the best I've ever had, and I grew up in a seafood restaurant! Di Pablo's is a culinary journey worth taking, and the drive is a small price to pay for such an outstanding dining experience. A quick tip for fellow food enthusiasts: make sure to secure a reservation ahead of time to guarantee your spot at this hidden gem. Now, onto the quirks that add to its charm. If you're diving into the happy hour buffet (which you absolutely should), snagging a seat at the bar or a hightop is the way to go. I personally love the bar setup for a buffet because it brings you right into the heart of the action, putting you in perfect proximity to the array of delectable dishes waiting to be savored. So, book ahead, embrace the quirks, and get ready for a dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary.

Yelp
Please post on your website and social media platforms your correct times...you say you close at a certain time but don't advertise that the kitchen closes 75 minutes before you close. We drove over an hour and got there at 8:55 for the rude hostess to say the kitchen closes at 9pm. Not to mention that 4 waitresses walked past us before saying anything!!! The absolute worst before we even had a chance to try the place. Won't be back... It's definitely catered to the locals that know the rules. Because we sure weren't greeted well at all.

Love D.

Yelp
The food is really great here!! The staff is nice and patient. Thursdays is AUCE Prime Rib and Crab Legs, along with other delicious Italian food.

Yelp
I mean I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet, so good, always a hit, consistent service and food. We have dined outside and inside. Our latest stop was inside, we didn't want to be near the live band. As usual our meal came with the antipasto and bread. We opted for the dinner for two meal. It was the 3.5lb stuffed lobster with crabmeat. It came with a salad - we both did Caesar salad, I wish it was dressed instead of on the side. The side dish accompanying the lobster meal was mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots. The stuffed lobster was basically filled with crab cakes. It was a little salty, we don't eat salty at home. Little lobster in the actual lobster, but the claws made up for that. It was $99, which wasn't bad. We ended up taking home about 1/4 of the stuffed lobster home. They packaged it up nicely in a large aluminum tin. Oh and the martinis were amazing. So smooth and delicious! We also ordered and shared a creme brûlée! Soooo good. Always room for this dessert. Call or make reservations today!

Yelp
We dined here for the first time on NYE and the food was amazing-it was pricey but I'm assuming it was because of the holiday. Crab cakes were $79 -no fillers-just amazing crab meat. The asparagus gnocchi was a game changer-the menu described them as "little pillows of heaven" and they weren't wrong! The portions are huge and so delicious. Our server was really nice and we look forward to trying out their mid week specials.

Emily M.

Yelp
If you like large portions this is your place! Other than that most dishes were over salted and generally not impressive. The massive amount of food they roll out definitely is eye catching but the quality isn't there unfortunately. The wine list is lacking too. That was even mor disappointing. I didn't have any mixed cocktails because generally I like wine with Italian cuisine. The server was a sweetheart and knew the entire menu. The restaurant also looks very much like elevated jersey shore. Overall probably won't be back, very high prices, very large portions, just okayish food.

Erica H.

Yelp
The food here is not good. We had a reservation for 8 people and 6/8 people did not like their food. When trying to get assistance, the server was frustrated, she was clearly over us. The manager was also not as helpful. I just wouldn't recommend this place, what makes it worst is it took us an hour drive to get here just to leave and still have to get food to eat.

Samantha F.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday. The portions were crazy huge I could have went just sharing my pasta with 2 other people honestly! Had leftovers for 2 days. Was super great!

Christie H.

Yelp
Di paolo's you never disappoint. Today I enjoyed 10oz filet mignon wrapped in hickory smoked bacon with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. Washed that down with a beachy peach drink.

Hiram T.

Yelp
An excellent brunch, quality food, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch.

Shauntae J.

Yelp
I wanted to give 5 stars because the food was excellent, but our service from our waiter CRAIG was very rude, sarcastic, & came off as racists!!! Although, the manager swapped him out for a waitress still left a bad taste in our mouths. I would recommend the restaurant tho. Great atmosphere & food it very good!

Lisa H.

Yelp
DELICIOUS! Plain and simple. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Our waitress Jewel was awesome and so patient. Everyone worked, was very sweet, the environment was nice and the ambiance was so nice! It's mandatory I come back here and try the pasta dishes. The items we ordered are attached to this review. Trust me, GO HERE!

Kathleen F.

Yelp
We were a party of 10, birthday luncheon. Never again. Heard about their "famous" crabcakes and chose to go here. Service was mediocre, no fun whatsoever, didn't make the visit special as great servers are known to do. Antipasta was ok, complimentary, but what was egregious were tge crabcakes were not seasoned, the crab had a watery texture like it just came out of the can, again I stress, no seasoning at all then smothered in a yellow garlicky sauce like a gravy with garlic mashed potatoes! Criminal! It was garlic city, couldn't cover up the fact the crab was without seasoning. I ordered the crab stuffed lobster tail, 80 bucks, the lobster was tough, the crab was slapped on the tail after it was done and was barely warm and that garlic gravy/sauce was poured all over it, again criminal. I didn't know this sauce was going to be like a gravy, not a delicate sauce. Had the garlic mashed with it also. Sent back, got the veal marsala. So as not to ruin the event I said it was good, but I know marsala, I make marsala, you could barely taste the wine, but the sauce separated and you could see the stock or whatever they used to make the sauce. The garlic mashed made another appearance. We ordered a couple creme brule' and what a pathetic joke. There was no sugar to "crack", the sugar was barely enough to make a crunch sound, the "custard" was not a delicate baked custard with vanilla bean specks, it was a vanilla pudding with a thickening agent taste...I was so mad I wished I could've thrown it across the room. I worked in the business many years and I am a seasoned cook and for the hype and prices we had higher expectations. The bill was outrageous, @800 or more and I can say they'll never get our money ever again. Could've had a better crab cake at a diner for half the cost. We paid for the hype. Two thumbs down.

Steve J.

Yelp
Large restaurant with a bar on one side, the dining areas, and an outdoor area that had a party at it. A lot of activity and very busy so reservations are recommended. The service was awesome. The bar drinks were delicious. The food was good. They give you an antipasto and bread, and salad, so by the time the meal comes you are full lol. Be warned, the portions are big. Even the specials. I had the surf and turf special. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce was great. The lobster tail was good, but the crab stuffing and sauce overpowered the lobster. I guess I'm just a lobster and butter guy. The gnocchi was super light but the sauce was a bit heavy. Both good. Definitely expensive once you add in drinks and such. Worthy of a nice date night if you have never been there.

Jamal L.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, especially the outdoor dining and bar area! The service from beginning to end was exceptional. The food!!!! Starting with delicious bread and antipasto! Salad, entree, dessert all were incredible! Every person in our party of 6 can't wait to return.

Christopher L.

Yelp
The food is great, me personally I love the Chicken Parmesan. Service is on the plus side specially for how busy they always are. There are a few downsides to this place though not necessarily their fault but the parking is horrible and the local PD will give you a ticket in a heartbeat!!! Also at times it's like a tuna can but again not necessarily their fault they stay busy busy and they get as many people in as they possibly are able to. They have specials all the time for different events and different seasons which are wonderful. The tailgate specials during football season this past season were great.

Scott P.

Yelp
Nice experience for an anniversary dinner. I can't stress how important it is to make reservations here ahead of time. Went on a Wednesday night and the place was PACKED. Staff did a great job keeping things flowing, but even with a reservation, we waited about 10 minutes for a table to be cleared. The main dining area gets extremely loud, but fortunately we were seated in an area off to the side designed for tables of two instead of larger parties. After being seated we got lost in the shuffle and had to flag a server down after about 15 minutes went by with no one coming up to our table. Once a server came, she told us our table had accidentally not been assigned. The manager was aware of this, and we got two excellently crafted Manhattans on the house. Very nice gesture, and we appreciated that. Once the food came all was forgiven. From the bread to the excellent wedge salad to the steak and seafood, everything was generous portions, fresh, and tasted great. Very good value for the price and the amount of food. Antipasta was elite - a must try. We live an hour away, but the specials, value, and service mean I'll more than likely make the trip again. There's a reason this place is so popular.

Brooklyn R.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The cannoli was just ok... the only bad thing about this place was that's some servers were super busy and others stood around. After 15 mins of just sitting there the bartender walked over and took our drink order. The ambiance was awesome! Hidden gem for real!

Kristina K.

Yelp
My family and I came here last night and I felt I had to write an updated review. To start, the food was still fantastic, but I took off one star for two reasons. First, there was large amount of waiting time throughout the dinner. We had a reservation, though still had to wait some time to be seated. This part did not bother us, as the whole restaurant was packed, so it was expected that we would have to wait. Throughout the dinner, we were waiting a very long time for our food to come out, when other tables seemed to be getting their food much faster. Second, the music in the restaurant was far too loud. We were seated in the patio area that is tented. The area was nice, however, there was DJ playing absurdly loud music the whole time. My family and I were screaming just trying to talk to each other. Despite these things, we still enjoyed our food very much.

james s.

Yelp
Overpriced, our lobster bisque in a bread bowl was salty and only lobster claw meat. We had two orders and we decided to take the leftovers home. One was put in a container large enough to include the soup the other was put in a small container with no soup just the bread bowl. I didn't expect to be seated outside and the temperature was cool, low 70's. A huge pedestal fan was blowing directly on us blowing the menus off the table. As the night moved on it got very cold.

Michael O.

Yelp
My wife is fussy about food and doesn't like many places, she loved the seafood fra diablo so much, service was good, has off street parking, ambience was noisy, but it was Mother's Day

Melanie H.

Yelp
We were so excited to come here for our anniversary only to be disappointed. Upon arriving we were greeted and confirmed our reservations. There was a couple who came in after us with the same reservation time. They were taken back before us and the host seemed friendly and asked if they wanted live music or near the bar. When he came back for us he just said with a straight face "come with me" no greeting no smile nothing. The restaurant was extremely crowded. We were sat down to a table that was about 3 feet from the bar. People were constantly walking into us and our table. Okay cool let's see how dinner is. Everything was saturated in butter, like puddles. We got the tomahawk dinner for two and had to ask for a steak knife twice. Our waitress was really sweet but probably won't come back again. So disappointed we had heard great things

Kevin W.

Yelp
Excellent all around the board only spot worth going to in this area, plain and simple

Laurie S.

Yelp
The food & service was good, but they jacked the prices up $30 for on their dinner for 2 specials & other dinners Valentine week for the exact same thing....why?? Also, the restaurant is in one of the most shadiest parts of South Jersey. Not sure if I'll ever come back...I can't believe they're voted 2nd best restaurant in Jersey...I wouldn't even put them in the top 50.

Robyn P.

Yelp
I love DiPaolo's food and I frequent this restaurant often. This evening we had a waiter by the name of CRAIG who was very loud & rude and it was obvious he did not want to wait on our table. CRAIG even asked if we wanted another waiter...(go figure). We spoke to the manager and I sure hope CRAIG will be reprimanded for his behavior!!! CRAIG needs to know all money is green regardless of who hands it comes from!!!!

Randy R.

Yelp
Mother's Day Brunch! Very nice job by the employees at Dipaolo's today! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful, our plates were cleared quickly, Every time we would go to the buffet line for another round our table would be completely cleared and ready for action! A true Brunch! From Omelets, Bacon, French Toast and more. To Prime Rib, Pork Roast, Ravioli, Eggplant, Flounder stuffed with Crabmeat and more!!! I forgot the fresh Antipasto, Ceasar Salad, Fruits and Fruit Salad! Then the desserts!! The adults and the kids all enjoyed everything we tried! I wish we could come home and take a nap and go back at dinner time! I am sure we will be back next Mothers Day! Thank DiPaolo's for the filling and enjoyable Mothers Day 2022 Brunch!

Alex D.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, and it was good, but not what I think the price point is worth. On the upside, the portions are large so you get your money worth there but the food is just about average. The entrees were good, I would say the appetizers were just okay. For an Italian restaurant the steak was very well prepared and was probably the best item of the night. The atmosphere is what really was disappointing. We went on Valentines Day which is a peak day, so I do want to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it on a normal day but on this special occasion the tables felt crammed and there was no background music so you heard everyone's conversation. It just did not feel intimate by any means. However our waiter was very nice and prompt, so no complaints from a service perspective which is worth noting on a busy holiday.

Melissa D.

Yelp
The food was absolutely incredible. We had the crab cakes that were in fact the size of oranges (I had leftovers the next day) and one of the steaks. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our service was also absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, we sat outside in a covered tent area and the amount of flies completely ruined our experience. I could not wait to leave. Everyone around us was swatting and shooing them throughout their dinner, they were landing all over the food, all over your arms, one landed in my glass of wine. I'd definitely go back because the food was phenomenal, but I will certainly be sitting inside. I completely understand, "you are outside" but if I'm spending $300 on dinner for 2 people I do expect there'd be something that could be done. Fans? Citronella candles? Exterminators?

Gary M.

Yelp
Wow the ambiance is one where it presents as upscale dining although the outside view is just ok. The buffet on Thursday night was a delightful mix of shrimp cocktail, fresh salads and a variety of chicken, shrimp and prime rib selections. If you like prime rib this place is for YOU! the rub used is flavorful and the meat is tender. The service was better than most restaurants. DOWN SIDE- no dessert or coffee included. Eh a small price to pay for an otherwise delicious meal. Pace yourself and enjoy quality food for a reasonable price!

Mary K.

Yelp
Worst steak I have ever had! Went for my Fathers 80th birthday - drove an hour to get there. Parents ordered surf and turf - the crab cake was very good - 9/10. Filet mignon - 7/10. I got the porterhouse ($99!). I ordered medium rare - came out RAW. Sent it back. The filet portion was decent at 7/10 - the rest 1/10 - fatty/raw. Unedible. Mashed potato's bland 2/10. Asparagus 8/10. Dessert was the best part! Some gelato with cherries 10/10. Very very disappointed. Bill was $339 and was worth in my opinion $120. Longhorne steakhouse is better minus the crab cake. I apologized to my parents the entire way home - and the next day. You can't get back an 80th dinner and the memories unfortunately. Our waitress was excellent. I don't understand the draw of this place. People were Pouring In. Quite disappointing. Ambiance - we sat at the table next to the window and stared at my car in front of us and the depressed neighborhood.

AJ L.

Yelp
Good tasty food. Service is meh. But the place is always packed. It's the only decent restaurant btw Penns Grove, Pennsville and Salem.

Darrell F.

Yelp
Came here with some High school friends from over 30 years, it was a nice atmosphere, the food quality and taste were on point, service was lacking, but it is hard to find good customer service anywhere these days I suppose. I'd go back but due to the cost and atmosphere, it would have to be for special occasions.

Maryann C.

Yelp
Took my husband and stepdaughters there for dinner this evening $29.99 get to choose soup-or salad, entrée and dessert. Fabulous five star restaurant excellent food excellent service one of my favorite restaurants. Got the fried calamari as an appetizer.

Janelle B.

Yelp
My girls and I made a last minute reservation for a Saturday night. It was our first time here and will not be our last. Ambiance was great. It's not a huge restaurant,, but big enough. There was indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is a covered area with plenty of great lighting. The night we went there was a live band playing. We sat inside which was very quiet and more intimate type of vibe. The service was ok, not fast but not slow. Our waiter was so sweet and made us laugh a time or two. Now on to the good part.. for starters we had the antipasto plate which was amazing. It had broccoli rabe, olives, eggplant, cheese and roasted peppers. Next a wedge salad which was good and fresh. For my main course I had the lobster dinner for 2, but it was only for me.. that lobster was actually huge!! I didn't beleive it would be that big until I saw it with my own eyes. It was stuffed and overflowing with lump crab meat and served with my second favorite food..a bowl of BUTTER... I was in heaven.. my friends had the surf and turf special and were very satisfied as well. I did have a side of mashed potatoes which were great and mac and cheese. I wasn't a fan of the mac but i can see how some would enjoy it if they are a fan of that style of creamy mac and cheese. All and all I can't wait to go back to try everything else on the menu. I couldn't stop staring at everyone's plate as they arrived..

Yelp
When I I tell you I thought about this food for days, I mean it! ! Do Pioffers an all you can eat brunch buffet featuring breakfast classics with an omelet station, their savory Italian dishes, carving station, and desserts. This particular Sunday I went with a "mini-party" of 30 people, DiPaolo's was extremely accommodating. I also noticed that they were able to help us the still made the other smaller parties still feel cared for too. So, kudos on the attention to detail. If you're a DE resident don't think twice about crossing the bridge, you need this food in your life!

Yelp
DiPaolo's is always super yummy! Their shrimp scampi is top tier along with the other pastas, and their crab cakes are to die for!! DiPaolo's is easily the best Italian restaurant in the area and the best I think in South Jersey. The atmosphere is so so nice and even when just dining take out, the food is still so fresh and great! I think the prices are worth it. This restaurant is just super nice, classy, and great, I most definitely recommend. (P.S, the restaurant can get busy on weekends and Friday nights)

Yelp
My husband and I came for a date night to celebrate my husbands birthday early. Definitely get there early because the parking lot fills up and make reservations because it is always packed. They did lose a star because the two hostesses in the front were very rude and unprofessional. We stood there and no one would check us in for 15 min and they were just standing there complaining about some of the people that worked there. Although, the food here is absolutely delicious! Their menus are extensive, and they have special buffets or a prefixed couples menu. My blueberry lemon martini was amazingly delicious! They have so many to choose from. I want to go back and try them all! My crab cakes were huge, all crab, and so tasty. The mashed potatoes were also buttery and delicious! They had so many dishes on the menu that I wanted to try, so we will definitely be back.

Yelp
I feel privileged to be able to dine at this amazing Italian restaurant! The menu offers all the traditional favorites plus some innovative presentations of my favorite cuisine. The staff is efficient yet warm, parking is easy and the menu is the focus of attraction. It's a great place for a good conversation with a friend and a wonderful rendezvous for a romantic tryst. Their daily specials induce one to travel even when the weather is ghastly because you'll surely be transported to warmer climes on Lobster night! Penns Grove is fortunate that this restaurant safely serves as a compelling reminder to visit often!

Yelp
We had a reservation and were seated right away. The restaurant is very nice and the service was excellent!! We had the chicken Marsala and stuffed Lobster tail. The food was delicious and the portions are huge!!! I would definitely go back as the menu is different depending on the night of the week. It's a little pricey but worth it!!

Yelp
While the food was great, the service was not good. A new of us went to brunch today, we spent almost $400 on food and drinks. There's was a miscommunication with one of the guest, who was celebrating her 82nd birthday. She ordered a $10, yes $10 cheesecake. We said to the waiter, it's her birthday and the waitress said ok I'll remove it from the check. Approximately, 5 minutes later an obnoxious waitress comes up to the table and takes away the cheesecake as it we were trying it take advantage over and $10 slice of cheesecake after were just spent almost $400. She rudely told us the waitress didn't not have the authority to give us a free slice and $10 cheesecake. RUDE!!!!!!

Yelp
I was there on Wednesday August 9th around 3 pm for happy hour. Our bartender Carissa was very friendly and knowledgeable. Awsome service until shift change, Bartender John was not so great. Very inattentive and did not even have that many at the bar. Also looked miserable and acted the same. All in all food was great but I would not sit at this guys bar again!
