One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I stopped by DiPasquale’s in the Baltimore Canton location on Toone Street and got the Real Italian Everything (no hots) — absolute perfection. The meats were fresh, the bread was top-tier, and the flavors were authentic and well-balanced. You can tell they use quality ingredients and know what they’re doing. Fast service, friendly staff, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
One of my go-to spots. Busier on weekends, so I usually order ahead and browse the market while I wait. The kitchen is open, clean, and well-organized. The sandwich is super satisfying. Just give it a quick reheat and it’s hearty and generously portioned.

Hard to find good quality Italian food in Harrisburg PA. When we have parties, I literally drive all the way out here, because this is the food here is good, plentiful, and satisfying. Being from NYC, I am pretty keen when it comes to Italian food and Di Pasquale's fits the bill for our family. We do their catering option when we have some big events at our house. Their catering services are always accurate and the service is always with a smile. I love their store and the multiple options that they have available from their grocery section to their catering options. I wish there was an Italian store like this somewhere in Harrisburg, PA, but unfortunately, that does not exist. I do not mind making the 1.5 hour trip here to get quality food which never seems to disappoint.

Google
I was visiting my son in Baltimore and his wife took me here. It was so delicious!! I had an Italian sub sandwich and appetizers of Brussel sprouts, crab dip, and pasta salad. I wish they had this restaurant in California! Wonderful!!! It is also a small Italian deli/market. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. We ate outside and had a nice view of the area.

Google
I just visited Di Pasquale's for the first time today. I picked up 2 "Real Italian" cold cut sandwiches for my daughter and I. They were fantastic!! Definitely lived up to their reputation. I only had half and was full. The store is amazing too. Tons of Italian items that I've not seen anywhere else. I picked up some rice for risotto tonight as well as some black pasta. Can't wait to go back!!

Google
I had them cater my Daughters baby shower. Well there was no leftovers to take home. I know I ordered way more than was needed so that should tell you how great the food was. Nothing but compliments from all our guests. I will definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to everyone I know.

Google
Stopped in for the first time to try one of these legendary sandwiches and found so much more. While I waited for my sandwich, I strolled thru the store and all the amazing products that were available. I really want to stop back and eat in the little bistro then a little shop around the store. I took my sandwich home and it was absolutely delish. One of the best Italian subs I have ever had. That crunchy bread, the meats and the toppings were just right. I will surely be back!

Google
This was amazing market. The hot sub was delicious. Friendly staff and very clean.

Yelp
Di Pasquale's Marketplace may be one of the best Italian food spots I've been to in a long time. This place has everything you could want, and it's all fresh, authentic, and done right. The moment you walk in, you feel it--clean, welcoming, and full of good energy. It instantly makes you want to come back. We sat at the new six-seater bar area, which was perfect for the occasion. Even though it was busy, the service was on point--attentive, friendly, and never rushed. Everyone in there was smiling, and that tells you everything you need to know. The food is that good. I wanted to order half the menu. The drinks were excellent. We had sangria, an Old Fashioned, and an espresso martini--and let me be clear: that espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had. It's officially #1 on my list. Food-wise, we tried the chip fries, an Italian sub, and a steak and cheese sub that will make you want to slap your momma . Every bite delivered. I'll definitely be back soon. If you're anywhere near the area, stop by--this place truly has it all. Just be careful... once you start ordering, it's hard to stop.

Yelp
I love the vibe inside the store, bustling w people and abundant food. great sandwiches. If only the store is closer to where I live. We got stuffs to go. -Lamborghini sandwich(lamb, tatziki, etc) -Real deal (veal, chunk of potatoes, a bit odd in my opinion because the potato is in big chunks) -cold italian sandwich There are pastas, olive oil, ravioli, limoncello, etc. EXCELLENT.

Yelp
DiPasquale's is one of my favorite places in Baltimore. I frequently stop in to grab a sandwich (the tuna diavolo is my personal favorite, featuring an oil-based tuna salad rather than a creamy one!). The market is also wonderful with a great selection of pasta, sauces, veggies, oils, and really anything you would want to round out ingredients for an Italian meal. The prepared food section is expensive so if you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can get a variety of sides or mains. They also have a great selection of wines and liquors! The folks working the counters are always patient (it takes a minute to work through their menu and pick from all the options!) and very knowledgeable and helpful. The Canton location is extra special because of the sit-down section where you can dine in. There's always a buzz with people coming in and out which gives it the feel of a bustling market. The only downside is that there is limited parking outside, but this is not too big of an inconvenience.

Yelp
I'm so glad that they have an extensive refrigerated and freezer section of food. I was able to take frozen soups with me which made me happy we stopped in for lunch. We were able to get the cold cuts were famous and the cream of crab soup customer service was good. They have so many things that you can buy to cook with market wise. I really do like the store.

Yelp
I think I may have just found my new favorite casual Italian spot! My family and I got there around 5:00 on a Saturday and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and very prompt. We all loved what we ordered! The big stand-outs were the Italian Fries and The Real Italian! Everything was truly so fresh and flavorful. We all left saying we can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Yelp
Man this place was soooo good. I wish I lived in Baltimore because I would come here every week. The sandwiches were delicious and the price was even better, $13.50!! I got the Tony Rubeno which was really good, loved that it was on garlic bread. Also tried my family's Butcher's Hill Cheesesteak and oh my lord it was amazing. Had a Baylon Root beer and a Mocha cannoli which was so delicious I could eat 50 of them. Same for the pistachio cannoli. The imported drinks were incredibly tasty. Sat down on the side so that no server but I loved it. The store was also really nice with the cheese and all the imported items. Makes me want to go back to Baltimore already 100/10. Would come again like today if I could!!! Now I want to go to Italy really badly.

Yelp
Di Pasquale's has my favorite sandwich in Baltimore so far. The Real Italian is everything I love about a sandwich-- a good balance of all flavors and generous portions too! The cheese curds were recommended to us and did not disappoint-- so great and so fresh! This was also my first time having a Zeppolone Di Frutta, definitely great for sharing! Overall the market was great, with an option for casual seating or a more sit down restaurant style off the side. All the workers we encountered were also kind and offered recommendations when we weren't sure what to get!

Moe S.

Yelp
Pizza great! Service is friendly subs are good too I love the wood oven and super fresh ingredients

Yelp
This place is so nice ... came here for lunch. So happy to see an Italian deli/restaurant since we don't see these near Rockville, nearly as much as we did back in NY/NJ. Anyway, we had two sandwiches, the porchetta and the veal with onions and peppers. Both were delicious, the bread was so fresh and they were pretty big. Our waitress and other staff were really nice and helpful too. We were so happy to see zeppoles on the menu and bought 2 with Nutella and one original. They were huge but unfortunately they were nothing like the zeppoles we remembered throughout our youth and they were just okay. However, we love the vibe of the place and would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Rich J.

Yelp
The layout is chaotic and non-intuitive. You order at one place and pay at another. They still have a good selection of groceries plus wine and spirits. The groceries are scattered throughout the store. A good selection of Cento groceries and DeCecco pastas, along with items like Fregola that are difficult to find elsewhere. Refrigerated and frozen items are along the back wall of the store. The sandwiches are a little expensive but large and made with high quality ingredients. I was fond of the porchetta on this visit. Parking can be tight but the first 30 minutes are free near the store.

Yelp
I'm in the area for work and asked my coworker where I could get a good sandwich. Without hesitation, she said Di Pasquale's. I got the Real Italian and was super impressed by the amount of meat that came in the sandwich. It was tasty with just the right amount of spice. While they were making my sandwich, I walked around the store to find something to drink, and also ended up picking up a package of super yummy pistachio cream butter cookies. Now I'm stuffed, but very happy! If you're in the Canton neighborhood, definitely stop in to either have a sit down meal or to grab something to go.

Yelp
Italian market and deli with imported pastas. We ordered The Scootch, meatball sub, and chicken parm sub along with two cannoli, pistachio and traditional. The subs were delicious and too big to finish in one sitting. The cannoli were not pre filled and shells were crisp and crunchy. I can always tell a quality Italian shop by their cannoli and whether they prefill or not. The place was packed and Im glad we got takeout and ate outside at the table there, because inside was loud and busy and the line for sit down seating was long. I'm so glad we finally found a quality Italian place in Maryland.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing Italian restaurant and market. We ordered lunch here and it was BUSY but we were able to snag a table right away. The inside was a little overwhelming with how crowded and busy it was, but clearly it was for a reason. The pizza and sandwich were spot on, and browsing the market was a blast. They had great and interesting products. All the fresh pasta and sauces looked amazing. We will definitely be back to purchase some food to go in the future!!

Yelp
HEY !! BE CAREFUL! TAKE A DEEP BREATH! YOU'RE IN A 110 YEARS OLD BUSINESS!!!! In 1914, an 18 year old Luigi Di Pasquale Sr. opened a corner grocer in Highlandtown Baltimore MD, and you know what? I was lucky enough to go to that location! On May 1st, 2021 , they moved to Brewers Hill to write a new chapter of history, and finally, last week, I was able to go and visit! Wow! Now the history, the 110 years of experience, and with a great design, Di Pasquale is an Italian heaven that helps all the DMV & Baltimore people to live their Italian dream! Unless you're inside the store now while reading my review, nothing will make sense to you! Joe DiPasquale, the owner, was waiting outside the door, watching and warning everyone to pay the parking meter if they were staying and warning everyone if the towing truck was coming! Lol, that really showed me care! This guy is genuine!! He could've let any worker do that for him! But he was greeting everyone and with love taking care of us and making sure no one got ticketed or got their vehicle towed away! There are 2 styles to dine in here! To actually be seated like in a restaurant, a waitress will help you, and you eat your food in porcelain plates and metal silverware, and you can get alcohol or you take your food to go and there are 3 tables inside and a few outdoor ( the outdoor tables are like a picnic style table bench) . The MENU IS HUGE! the deli style refrigerator display has endless choices of food you can get! They know it's a lot, and that's why they have the choose 3 combo ( ask about it when you get there and look at my choices in the photos ) I also ordered 2 hot subs , the iconic Lamborghini, and the real deal veal ! I got a Tiramisu and 3 mini cannolis ! Pistachio, mocha, and traditional! Thank God I had my cousin with me to share. Otherwise, I would've been to a food coma ! But you know what?? I didn't feel tired after eating their food! Clean ingredients ;) Every single item was good!! Everything was tasty! Yummy! There are a lot of items to go back and try! Things I have no idea about, and it might take me years to explore, lol. After I was done , I shopped at the market and bought an Italian type of cookie bag that I suspected it looks like something my grandma ( we're Coptic Egyptians) used to make from milk cream and this one was made from milk cream too! And the same shape!! I got excited and got two bags! Oh my goodness! It's the same!! ( A lot of the Coptic "native Egyptian " food is shared between Greeks and Italians) Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

Yelp
My favorite thing about this place is its convenience. There aren't too many places close to the apartments here that sell alcohol so I find myself running down here to get a bottle of wine from time to time. The space itself is like a market with seating and tables on the side as well. I mostly just purchase to-go and folks are pretty pleasant so I appreciate the service. The food itself is okay. The pizza felt tough to eat their meatballs and arancini are just okay.
google avatar

Allen G.

Yelp
It's a five, it's always a five. The food here is always great. No matter what you order. The only question is, what do you want to eat? The kid loves the pasta, and that's all we can get her now. Plus she likes the meatballs, so it's worth it. The only complaint I have is that the tuna app is too small. I can eat like four of them. The wife always gets the hot, prosciutto sub, and this week I'm trying to chicken Parm sub. All were very good.
google avatar

Thomas G.

Yelp
Pizza had a good chew to the crust but honestly, lacked sauce and flavor. Tony Rubino is always packed with layers of flavor. Service is always pretty decent.
google avatar

Sam K.

Yelp
Picked up takeout from here and even thought jt was PACKED, they got our subs out so fast!! Huge sub for $12 and so fresh! Pictured: the calabrese

Yelp
Unique experience, get your order in for a sandwich and then shop around! Lots of options! The service was speedy and the vibe was authentic
google avatar

Yelp
Our second visit to Dispaquales was as great as our first. We arrived at the right time and were seated quickly. It took some time to get waited on but once we did he was on point. It got very busy after we were seated so it is understandable. I had the Santino and it was great with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto. The only criticism would be more basil as it was a little sparse. After eating we tried to maneuver around the market but the amount of people hanging around made it difficult but we were able to get some items to take home but would have spent more if we had felt less rushed.
google avatar

Robert F.

Yelp
One the best Italian marketplace in Baltimore. The cheesesteak I had was very good. The service is A1 on point. The ambiance is an Italian market with everything from cooked fresh food to frozen dinner meals. Definitely will be back.
google avatar

Ren H.

Yelp
I've heard some good things about Di Pasquale's and I just came to check it out with a friend for an early dinner. The store itself was quite busy with shoppers shopping. It's a packed market but pretty cool they sell groceries, liquor and have a dining area with indoor and outdoor seats. It was hot out so we sat inside. The staff were busy but quite friendly. We ordered their Prosciutto & Arugula white pizza and a large Italian sub to share. The sub was packed full of meat and was so good! I enjoyed the drizzle of balsamic glaze on the pizza which wasn't overwhelming. Portion sizes were quite large and definitely filling. Lots of carbs for our meal but the ingredients were all fresh and plentiful. I'm definitely interested in checking this place out for grocery shopping and to dine again!
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
I came here for lasagna. I had a very specific date night planned so that is all i tried. I chose this place because they have a veggie and an eggplant lasagna and not just meat lasagna. I did not care for the veggie lasagna. It had too much cheese, and I felt like I could not taste the layers of pasta like I should. My wife had no complaints about her meat lasagna, but she didn't rave about it either. The service was excellent. Our server was helpful and friendly! Another guest told us the pizza is everything! So I will be back to try some pizza on another visit. ** you do have to pay to park outside of the restaurant, so be mindful**
google avatar

Ana B.

Yelp
I'm glad I got to see their original location in Highland town - this spot in Brewer's Hill is modern and always, always bustling. I'm a fan of their sandwhiches - I never order the same thing but here I seem to always get their original. There is a satellite location in Locust Point by the port. There are tables and one Sunday I saw a bunch of families for brunch. From pastas to prepared foods to wine - Di Pasquale does have a lot of offerings. It's a boutique type market so it's not super cheap and you can't do all your shopping here, but I come to get a little taste of American Italian goodness. I've heard they have amazing pizzas, so will be trying that at some point, but if you're craving a deli meat sandwich, this is your spot! A tip for first timers, it can be overwhelming, so get a menu, take your time and then order at the counter. You will have to wait to get your food, then you go to the checkout on the right back side of the store to pay.

Katherine F.

Yelp
Friends brought us lasagna from DiPasquale's after we had our baby. It was the best lasagna I've ever had. The portion gave two people three meals and I'm devastated that it's gone.

Michael N.

Yelp
I loved the different food options they have , Everything tasted great and the sub rolls were fantastic, it's a clean and fun location with great service , Can't wait to come back !
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
Pretentious tries too hard, food is okay but just okay.stick to being an Italian grocery
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Might be the finest Dining Establishment in all of Baltimore. Impressive array of choices, Spectacular food, while still retaining the family-owned ambience. No other place quite like it. Period.
google avatar

Christopher S.

Yelp
They have a comprehensive selection of delicacies and the city's best, in my opinion, eggplant parm sandwich. Wash it down with a beer, wine or soda on a sunny day while eating on the patio. P.S. They are dog and kid friendly.
google avatar

Margaret I.

Yelp
We LOVE Di Pasquale's! Whether eating in the shop, getting takeout, or simply shopping for groceries or wine/beer/home distilled limoncello, it's all wonderful! You may need to wait for dining service, as it encompasses a small area. Shopping during the weekend can be difficult because the area is crowded. This all speaks to Di Pasquale's excellence!

K B.

Yelp
very nice Italian marketplace! everything was delicious! friendly staff well stocked store nice neighborhood walking distance for locals

Yelp
Great place, food and service , will be back soon, awesome The best Italian restaurant in Baltimore

Linda R.

Yelp
We ordered a deli and fruit platter for a group of 20 people. The delivery of the food was on time, the presentation of the food was appealing, and the quality and quantity of the food was very good. Thank you for a delicious lunch with leftovers too!

Yelp
As a devoted lover of Italian cuisine, discovering this gem was exciting! From the moment I sat down, the service was fantastic. The cozy interior adds to the charm, though it's worth noting that the space is best suited for smaller groups--I'd recommend keeping it to 5-6 people max if you're planning to dine in. I also love the flexibility of grabbing takeout or stopping by in the morning for a coffee. This spot is a 10/10 for me, and I'm already looking forward to returning--not just for another meal, but also to pick up some pasta to cook at home.

Frances P.

Yelp
Good food, great sandwiches and a nice selection of products, nice people. Store is small but has a place to sit and eat.
google avatar

Donald C.

Yelp
BLUF: Holy moly! That's a lot of meatballs! Ordering two large sandwiches, meatball and real Italian, we were completely unaware of Di Pasquale's large. Needless to say, we shared the meatball sub and are only half of the tiramisu. The bread for the meatball sub is hollowed out and jammed pack full of meatballs and mozzarella and sauce. Then toasted for the crisp exterior. The bready interior they pulled out is nestled at the opening of the sandwich taking in the overflowing sauce and cheese. Beautiful store overall. Plenty of seating indoors and out. We appreciated the large, self-serve jug of water outside seemingly for anyone who needs water. It is very thoughtful. If you're passing through Baltimore, this is a detour worthy stop. There's a supercharger behind the nearby Harris Teeter, a short walk away.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
This place is awesome for authentic Italian cuisine. I am so pleased that I found this place so close to my work.
google avatar

Ameena A.

Yelp
How can you not absolutely love this place?! Or at least find SOMETHING that you love in here? There are so many gems in here, from freshly made food (like pastas, pizzas, sandwiches) that you can take to go, alcohol, meats and cheeses, gelato, and dry goods/grocery items (crackers, cookies, etc.). My one wish is that their to-go section would have more gluten free options (like a sandwich on gluten free bread), but not enough to lower my rating. Still love this place!
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday and decided to eat in. You can order to go pizza or sandwiches at the counter directly in front of the door when you enter or sweets to the right of the door. If you want to eat in, head to the right where the wait to be seated sign is. We were quickly seated and for lunch ordered fried cheese curds, a meatball, and a Margherita pizza. The cheese curds were perfectly crisp and we had some nice cheese pulls. The side marinara was perfect. The meatball was flavorful and the pizza was delicious! We took half the pizza home and had cannoli for dessert. I'm not sure I've had such a crisp and well made cannoli before. The pistachio wasn't overwhelming but still a very tasty way to end the meal. It's amazing how much is in this location, Italian groceries, wines, and tables for a restaurant. It's a little crammed, though fun to walk through. There's some outdoor seating and the indoor seating is next to massive windows looking out on the street. Can't wait to go back and try different items next time!
google avatar

Roberto M.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come to DiPasquale's since I saw Guy fieri on triple D years back. It's been on my list when I get to Baltimore. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The market is absolute perfection! Seeing italian brands I can't find in chain supermarkets. The prosciutto is tender, fresh, and so flavorful I can still taste it on my sub with mozzarella. Highly recommend any of the salads - shell pasta was my fav! Next time I'm going to eat in, this trip was to go. Buon appetito!

Yelp
Used to go to Di Pasquale's several times when we lived in Fedhill and sadly haven't been back since we moved out the city so it's nice to have one close by on the outskirts of Canton! This location like others, has a marketplace and a sit down area that you can order and dine-in. They have a large menu comprised of pizzas, subs, desserts, and appetizers. All relatively decently priced! You can also choose to grab things at the counter if you don't want to order dine-in. We got the old italian sub, tuna diavolo, a Briella Piccante pizza, pistachio gelato, and fried dough w/ Nutella. The tuna diavolo is one we have never had before and it's like tuna salad but instead of mayo it's dressed with red oil based w/ cherry peppers and balsamic! It was amazing, with the balance of the tuna with the tart of the cherry peppers and balsamic paired with the soft bread! The pizza was also good except, the sauce made it so soft and floppy because the crust was so thin but nonetheless the flavor was there! The gelato was all-star however because I love pistachio anything and unlike others I have had, this one did not have the chemical after taste and not super green w/ bits of pistachio mixed in! Paired very nicely with the fried dough dessert. There was one server and she was excellent, prompt and made sure she got everything out in a timely manner. There was one customer giving her some trouble and watching her handle that situation was great! She remained calm and was able to resolve it to the best of her ability! Shoutout to her!! If you're in the Fedhill or the canton area, come check them out! Even if you don't get food here (idk why you would not) they do offer a great deal of Italian grocery items.

Robert T.

Yelp
My experiences at DiPasquale's have been mixed. The first time I ordered for a team and everyone was happy with their food. The next time I ordered the same thing for myself - the Roast Beast - and the actual roast beef was dryer than any I'd ever had. My first in-person meal was fine, if nondescript, though the instructions on where to sit could be clearer. This most recent time, I ordered the muffuletta. It was fine, not great, and was definitely NOT a muffuletta. The ingredients were mostly there, but the all-important olives were completely absent. So if you're looking for an authentic muffuletta, look elsewhere.
google avatar

Dejuan L.

Yelp
For years I've heard people talk about corn beef sandwiches and "Rueben's", but I'd never had one since I rarely ever eat red meat. I decided I'd finally try one and see what all the hype was about. I placed my order on their site and headed that way. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by one guy and then a nice lady asked my name for my order. Everything was bagged in ready to go. I ordered the "Tony Ruebino" and the truffle fries. The sandwich looked good, but I had no idea what to expect. Soon as I took a bite, I was pleasantly surprised! It was very good! I'd definitely have this again
google avatar

Yelp
As soon as you walk in you know you're going to have a great experience. The smell and aroma alone is unbelievable. There's an unbelievable amount of choices, from a full Italian market, fresh produce, fresh bakery, butcher block, the choices are endless. The unbelievable service just topped our experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Their sandwiches are amazing. So much varieties to choose from. Will definitely be back soon to try others on the menu. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Eccellente!!! What a great recommendation in the Baltimore area. An amazing marketplace filled with Italian delicacies. The pizza, sauce and pasta was on point actually the best that I've had in the area. There's so many options, I was acting like a kid in a candy store. This place is a must if you love all things Italian. Unfortunately I was enjoying all the options I failed to take pictures. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I was a huge fan of the original location of Highland town. I'll be honest I was a little sad when it closed. This new location is wonderful, but it just doesn't have the same old school feel. The food is delicious, as always, and it is similar to the menu at the other location. Packaged goods are expensive, but high-quality. I recommend you try the meatball sub, but really any of them are delicious. The pasta dishes are pretty decent as well, but the subs are where they shine.

We bought the vegetable lasagna and the gluten free eggplant lasagna and BOY are these AMAZING!!!!! I highly recommend. You can order (several days ahead!) and thwn reheat at home!!! It's also a great Italian Marketplace .... Quite a store!!! Enjoy!

Yelp
Such a cool place the market is amazing the staff is friendly, you will feel like you walked into Italy when you come through the door. I had the Santino and it was amazing, such fresh ingredients and the bread was so soft and still warm. If I come back to Baltimore I'm definitely hitting this spot
