This was my first time visiting Di Pescara in Northbrook, and it was such a pleasant experience. I stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered a small cup of soup along with the grilled salmon. Both were fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the soup was comforting without being too heavy. I also tried a glass of white wine, which was absolutely amazing — crisp, refreshing, and a perfect complement to the meal. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming, with a nice atmosphere that makes it equally good for a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. Service was friendly and efficient, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the overall vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to trying more from the menu!

Google
Excellent food, perfect service! Wouldn’t expect anything less from Lettuce Entertain You, always a quality experience. Only downside, Northbrook Court is looking a little dated, but don’t let that keep you away.

Lovely vibe, classy atmosphere. Visited on Mother’s day, Mom really really liked the fish and sister liked the ice cream with hot fudge. Vegan options, so-so. But overall, memorable experience, good company!

Celebrating my father in law’s 90th birthday in a private room for our party of ten. It felt a little like we were being hidden away up the ramp towards the bathrooms. The room had a cold feeling to it, not temperature wise. It was stark! Other than that we had a fine dinner. Most of the time service was attentive, water was poured, dishes taken away, and if we wanted refills with our drinks. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I had the shrimp with angel hair pasta and my wife order the salmon plain with steamed Brussels sprouts. All the pasta dishes looked great. See the pictures. Before you go, look 👀 below ⬇️ and hit the thumbs up button please.

It was my husband‘s birthday and we came in for happy hour on a Wednesday and sat at the bar. We met Chet our bartender. He was very personable. I go to wildfire every week and I said I’m very spoiled with the way they make their cosmos for me.. he made it exactly the same.. he made great dinner recommendations and explained every question about the menu.for dessert my husband wanted the peppermint ice cream and fudge topping. I wanted the cheesecake so Chet went to the kitchen and got us a little of each! There’s no shortage of great restaurants in our area, but what makes it is the staff. See you next week Di Pescara! Thanks Chet!

Google
The patio is quite nice. Fabian, our server, brought me a container for ice water, very nice. He suggested my people get me a skirt steak so we could all eat together. They unfortunately did not. My Mother did share the apples and jicama from her orchard salad but steak would've been my preference. She commented how delicious her almond crusted whitefish was but didn't share. Fabian suggested the Penne Marsala and Door County Cherry pie. My Dad got both but didn't share. But he loved them. My humans and I enjoyed our dinner. I give it 4.5 Paws Up. From Oreo, the Dog

Google
Went for a nice late lunch. Service was great. They were very knowledgeable of the menu. Need to go back and try all the different fish. I got the Lobster pasta and tomato soup. Not too heavy. Very good.

Google
They have a near $30 for a supper deal where you get a drink, salad/soup, entree, and dessert. They serve TONS of food, think Wisconsin Portions. I highly recommend their pastas. The vibes are great, they have a fancy feel which would be great for a night out, business meeting, or a date.

Yelp
I've never had a bad experience here, and I give them a lot of credit for that, because I've patronized this restaurant a fair number of times and everybody has off days now and then. They never seem to. They've even made some awkward meals surprisingly tolerable. That dinner with family members you're barely speaking to, lunch with an acquaintance you're just getting to know, etc. The place is relatively spacious, and the atmosphere is warm in a dimly lit, well-appointed kind of way. Broad menu, flexible about making modifications, and really high quality food. Worth a return visit every time I've been there.

Yelp
Had a great dinner at Di Pescara, both the food and service were excellent. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went, which made for a really nice, relaxed dining experience. We each ordered the Supper Club special (two total), Between us, we tried the chopped salad, tomato soup, prime chopped steak, almond-crusted whitefish, chocolate mousse cake, and peppermint ice cream. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly, the whitefish had a crisp golden crust, and the sides were seasoned just right. Both desserts were excellent: the mousse cake was rich and smooth, and the peppermint ice cream was a great finish. Our server was friendly and attentive, and overall the meal felt well-paced and enjoyable. Definitely a spot we'll come back to for a nice dinner out.

Yelp
As frequent costumers to this restaurant, we were very suprised to have such a horrible experience Our waiter was quite rude to begin with and then after waiting for our food for 45 minutes he realized that he forgot to put it in .... When the manager came to apologize he couldn't even take part of our bill off(1 app and a glass of wine) or Atleast suggest to comp our bill This is a lettuce entertain restaurant Did not meet their high level of standards by any means!!

Yelp
Lovely restaurant! The menu is very diverse and offers something for everyone. Service was extremely friendly. The sweet potato fries were delicious. I also had the orchard salad with salmon which was very fresh. The chocolate mousse dessert is MASSIVE. It's literally FOUR hefty slices of cake. I also loved the key lime pie!

Yelp
This place never disappoints. The chopped salad is always fresh and delicious. The wasabi peas elevate this salad so much, you'll place this on your rotation for "great salad places". The fish is excellent, just seasoned perfectly, to enjoy every bite. We've had many lunches and dinners for date events and socially with friends here. It has a clean, sophisticated design and good acoustics for friendly conversations. The wait staff are quite professional and attentive. Perfect for a meal before or after a visit to the Chicago Botanic Garden

Yelp
This restaurant is the poorest of all the Lettuce Entertain restaurants. Last Saturday night our family hosted a birthday party for 15 people in this restaurant and were disappointed in the restaurant and the service we received. First we were seated in one of the banquettes. Given the fact that 2 people in our party were blind and 2 were handicapped this seating arrangements was horribly uncomfortable. We were told that we would have a dedicated waiter to assist. Well that did not happen. Our waiter was charged with handling a number of tables in the restaurant in addition to ours and because of this the service was hurried and quite poor. And to top it off, the restaurant was very noisy and therefore it was very hard to communicate. Not once did a manager come over to ask if all was well with our party. The food was expensive and mediocre. I would not go back nor would anyone in our party. I would think twice if you are planning something special at this restaurant as you will be disappointed.

Yelp
It was really nice. We arranged for a private room with a television, so that we could watch the inauguration. There was a group of 1O of us. The service was wonderful, the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. Our original choice of venue for the inaugural watch party told us they only allow sports on television, so they lost out on some business, but hey, their restaurant their rules. Thank you to DiPescara for making us feel so welcome.

Gus W.

Yelp
Had a milestone birthday party for my mom with a large reservation. Awful and dangerous experience. Service was slow took over 2.5 hours. Mixed messages about allergies were communicated and food was served to children with allergies that should not have been. Manager was barely responsive and definitely not well informed about allergies. Not safe for someone with allergies. They do not understand nor do they care about the fact that this could be fatal. Awful customer service. The hostess was nice and the only one that seemed responsive or to care about anything.

Yelp
You can't beat their supper club menu. The chopped steak is delicious and the peppermint ice cream is a perfect dessert. #iraeats #iraeats1

Yelp
I was at an event today here at DiPescara in Northbrook Court! I had the Penne with Shrimp, it was very creamy and tasty, the shrimp was just a bit overcooked! My friends had the Chicken Milanese and BBQ Ginger Salmon, they both look like it was well prepared! The staff was very friendly and efficient! The best was the Valrhona Chocolate mousse cake! It was decadent! The restaurant was a little noisy though for a Tuesday afternoon!

Yelp
Nothing really stood out to me as amazing during my visit to Di Pescara. The appetizers were probably the best part of my meal, especially the tuna tartare and crispy tuna rice. Both dishes had a good amount of tuna, and the dishes were flavorful as well. The crispy tuna rice was my favorite dish of the night. However, the fried lobster sushi had no flavor and was expensive for the portion. I think it was like $17 for six pieces. For the main courses, my favorite was the almond crusted white fish and side pasta with vodka sauce. The whitefish had a nice crunch to it while the vodka sauce on the pasta had a nice bite to it. However, the cheeseburger was very bland, and the fries were stale. Some of the fries were ok while most of them were hard to chew. The branzino also didn't have too much seasoning. The portions for everything were large, but the food overall lacked depth and flavor. Our service was phenomenal. Our waitress was very friendly, stopped by often, and had a great attitude.

Yelp
Probably one of the few places remaining that are keeping this mall (that has seen better days) alive. If you're entering from the mall, it's a weird slide door entrance then you end up awkwardly and walking through the restaurant to get to host stand. Anyways it's very spacious and I suppose in it's prime (when the mall had more stores) I'd assume this place would be at capacity. Enough about the mall, the food here was actually very good. While it's probably more of a seafood spot than anything else, I did go for the burger and it was excellent. During our visit they were out of fries, so we had to opt for healthier alternatives (new year new me). To my surprise, the roasted corn was actually quite good. Why the just okay rating? Service. To start, we arrived at beginning of the lunch hour and service was just fine. As the main dining area and bar started to fill out, there were two only two people serving the entire restaurant. Main server was taking care of the entire restaurant while the bartender was taking care of the entire bar seating area. Seems odd to be that understaffed for the weekend, but then again the mall has seen better days. Anyhow, what I'll remember most food was good, yet they're understaffed. So be prepared to wait if they're at capacity. Last thing to note is they are Lettuce Entertain You affiliated, so have to rewards card/app handy to add or redeem points. 'Til next time, cheers!

Yelp
Coming to this location and parking is extremely easy because there isn't much traffic in Northbrook court. Came here for a work team dinner. We were seated pretty quickly without a reservation which was nice. The host and waitress were very nice. However they either have no air conditioning or its barely on, so inside it was so uncomfortably hot. I was sticking to my chair. The food did come out relatively quickly I had the sushi and it really is not good residual considering the pride per roll. I had the crispy tuna roll and it was really salty. It took a long time to get water refills, but between the salty sushi and the uncomfortable heat just worsened it. Only giving this place 2 stars since my coworkers said that they did like their meals.

Magdaline V.

Yelp
The menu was one of the oddest I have encountered. Sushi, spaghetti, poke bowls, steak, chicken meatballs and more items that did not make an appetizing assortment. The food was average at best. Some plain bread was the starter and most dishes were expensive and in my opinion, not worth it. There were few beer choices and the low quality one I had made me feel sick. Northbrook Court looks like you are visting a ghost town.

Yelp
Rude personal,I had a horrible encounter at the bar ,refusesed to serve me a 3rd drink in a rude manner without explanation,!!@ food is nothing special ( Ihave a great experience in international food) all the salad were %90 grass for rabbits, the rest is just decoration, lol. The tartar was nothing like tartar.overall typical American restaurant for people that have no clue about what gourme dishes have to taste like.

Yelp
What a wonderfully efficient restaurant. Warm and friendly with great food. We love their salads their soups. the New England clam chowder was delicious with just enough clams and cream. The brussel sprouts were nicely browned with bacon and quite delicious. The salad is always fresh with dressing on the side.

Yelp
I have been going to Di Pescara a long time. I chose to have a delivery last night, the gentleman I spoke to regarding questions I had was flippant and disrespectful. He kept saying about the delivery service. These were questions regarding the menu changes at the restaurant. Nothing to do with delivery. Shameful!

Yelp
We hadn't been to Di Pescara in years, so when we were looking for a nice night out, we decided to go here again. And...we should have gone elsewhere. As soon as we sat down, we were ignored for about 15 minutes. Someone came by and asked if we wanted something to drink My wife got a Blue Moon and asked for an orange slice with it (which is normal for a Blue Moon). The helper exclaimed, "an orange?!" rather loudly which was embarrassing. And I asked for a Diet Coke. They brought the drinks (btw no orange) and some bread which is normally brought with olive oil and grated parmesan cheese. We asked for some oil and cheese. They brought oil, but no cheese. We asked again for cheese and this fell on deaf ears. Finally our waiter brought some and made some lame excuse about forgetting every time he walked by. Well, thank you for the oil and cheese (finally) but now we're out of bread. Which was brought immediately. We ordered a small Caesar salad to split. They brought it already split with individual dressings. The salad was really fresh with sliced thin parmesan cheese, To say anything short of delicious wouldn't do them justice. Next came our meals. I got the chicken milanese and my wife got the chicken giardiniera. Hers was buried in giardiniera. Almost too much so all you tasted was the garnish and not the chicken. Mine came with a side of pasta which I wanted with the milanese sauce. I asked four times for that. It took the waiter a while to realize I wanted the same flavor profile on the chicken and the pasta. The chicken was drowning in the sauce, but the sauce was a bit bland; which rendered the pasta a bit bland as well. The waiter never came by to check on us and getting refills on soda and water were very few and far between. When we were finished, he brought the check and didn't ask if we wanted dessert. We said we were interested, but I think it lost its appeal when he didn't ask and just brought the check. He came back to our table three times to see if we had added cash or card to the check billfold and a runner even checked. It wasn't busy when we were done eating and the restaurant was open for another hour or so. We felt rushed after the service was slow and practically non-existent the entire meal. It was a few years since we had come back and it will be even longer before we return. And I booked a reservation online and in the area asking if were were celebrating anything, I wrote my wife's new job. No mention at all. I wasn't expecting free food (I never do), but no mention at all. Why ask in the online reservation program if you aren't even going to mention it?

Yelp
Went here for office dinner. Place has warmth in decor and service both. Food was very good.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Di Pescara and I ordered a poke bowl which is something I frequently order in other restaurants. This should have been labeled a shredded cabbage bowl! There was very little salmon and tuna, a decent amount of avacado, about 1 tablespoon of seaweed, about 2 tablespoons of rice, which I had to dig for to find, and a lot of shredded cabbage. I would say 80% of the bowl was shredded cabbage. I was stunned and felt cheated! The waiter was very nice and attentive.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Brussel sprouts were burnt with no flavor. The spicy tuna crispy was a pasty tuna. The chicken parm was rubber. The food came out way too quickly for it to be fresh. Will not return.
google avatar

Betsy S.

Yelp
Part of the "Lettuce Entertain You" Chain which is amazing. It is part of the Northbrook mall. They always have the secret to success. I ordered horesradish crusted whitefish with asparagus instead of brussel spouts. I also ordered a cappuccino. The food was so tasty and the chardonnay was delicious as well. We were able to enjoy our food in a relaxing atmosphere as well. We had a nice table for the 3 of us and we were able to get out in an hour and a half since we had a show to make. I knew I didn't even need to have an appetizer since the fish was going to be an ample portion! I definitely would come back and try the sushi! I'm a big fan!

Yelp
We went to Di Pescara for lunch. On a positive note, weekend they have a brunch menu that includes unlimited mimosas or bloody Marys for $15. I found the lunch menu kind of thin. Some appealing items seemed dinner only and the item most appealing to me, zuppe de pesche, is Saturday only. I opted for Mediterranean chopped salad and chicken Milanese. We had enjoyed the chopped salad. It had a good flavor and many ingredients besides lettuce like olives, peppers, cheese, and cherry tomatoes. The chicken Milanese had a glorious preparation and presentation. It was worked thin with a meat hammer and came as one large single piece topped with a small, arugula like salad and thinly shaved Parmesan. Beyond this great appearance and preparation, the dish was worthless. A $6 chik-fil-a sandwich has more flavor and those don't have much flavor. I couldn't believe how bland it was. No garlic, no herbs, no lemon, no wine, no flavor, nada. Our meals were expensive. I might tolerate a flavorless main course at half the price. At $24 a plate place $8 for a starter salad, I'm looking for flavor way above a chik-fil-a sandwich. On a good note, our server was good and the kitchen kept up with orders so our time and wait time at the restaurant was good.

Yelp
Fantastic Ambiance. Knowledgeable and experienced team members. High quality ingredients and trained chefs ‍ Loyalty program with Lettuce Entertain You. Incredible Dishes inspired by Adriatic and Mediterranean Art and History. A joy to explore for all members of the family. Party rooms available as well as catering and supper club is until 430- 5pm daily from 11am. Attention to detail, cocktails that will celebrate your party and you. A must if visiting Chicago for business, family, leisure, or just shopping for a house in the suburbs.

Natalie T.

Yelp
They have done a lot to improve their menu, their supper club menu is great. I highly recommend the almond crusted whitefish, their chopped salad is excellent and so is the chocolate mousse cake.

M B.

Yelp
Whitefish ordered for delivery was great!!! Go figure that delivered fish could be delicious. Natalie at the front desk made it happen even though I called her multiple times. She was pleasant and efficient throughout the whole process. Amazing! The sweet potato was also a delight. Really happy to have found this healthy and friendly option.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere. The service is very good. The food is excellent if you order fish! Don't get the pasta of the day, they sometimes overcook a little bit the gnocchi. It's not a big deal. Everything is forgotten because of the kindness of the servers.

George W.

Yelp
Had dinner over the weekend. The waiter and service staff were excellent. Our table had calamari for appetizer, entrees were parmesan crusted shrimp, sea scallops, crab cakes, halibut, and a poke bowl. Overall, all the entrees were well-seasoned. Our only negative was the scallops and crab cakes were over-cooked, the ONLY thing a seafood restaurant cannot do.

Yelp
I've been going to Di Pescara for years, I loved their Chicken Parmesan. It used to come on a hot plate with a wood base. The portion used to be 3 meals, had a lot of sauce and cheese. And, it was seared. Now, it's small, it was breaded and crunchy. Very little sauce and dry. I am so disappointed. The wait staff is exceptional.
google avatar

Carli M.

Yelp
Ordered two orders to go of tuna and salmon poke bowls. They were NOT good. When I opened my poke bowl I got a wave of fish smell. Not a good way to start a meal. The container was filled 90% with filler slaw a blob of slimy green stuff and avocado and small portion of white rice. Not a lot of salmon or tuna was in the bowl and the pieces were tiny little scraps. They looked like garbage fish remnants. There were pieces that were not trimmed well with brown still on it. I'm bummed and still hungry. Gave it two stars cause I felt bad I've had many lovely meals at this restaurant, but this one was a such a disappointment. :(

Yelp
Last minute we cancelled another reservation and came here for their Valentines special. From the time we walked in the door(late due to an accident) we were treated like royalty. The manager and host seated us as soon as we got there. We were given a great table on the corner booth so we could sit side by side, and share easily. Fabio was one of the best servers I have had in ages, and we do eat out a lot. He told us he would treat us like family and he didn't disappoint. We ordered, based on his suggestion, the Scallops and the Lobster Tagliatelle. Wow both were out of this world. We also got a side lobster tail which was a perfect compliment to both dishes. Ok so now my only rant. I hate that Lettuce still adds that 3% BS charge for "offsetting costs" I got it during covid, but in my opinion this is just corporate greed. They have raised the prices(I accept costs have gone up) but why also add another 3%. Yes I know we can have it removed but it sometimes is forgotten. Really Melmans its time to get rid of that fee. Think about it if you charged $20.50 instead of $20 nobody would complain. Enough of my rant. I would not hesitate to return and make sure I am there any day but Monday and Wednesday and that is when our new favourite serves is off. Thanks Fabio for making our night wonderful

Yelp
Don't waste your time or money on De Pescara in Northbrook! The brussel sprouts were burnt with fatty bacon; the Rigatoni tasted like it was made with a cheap jar sauce and greasy mystery meat. I gave our waiter a $25 Lettuce Entertain Holiday Bonus card and he said I couldn't use it because it was Passover. The back of the card only stated that it could not be used on Valentine's Day or Easter, so I asked to speak with the manager, Bhavna Chanana. She said it was Passover and corporate advised them not to honor these cards. I scanned the QR code on the back of the card looking for details and it brought up MILFTOON Porn Comics. I was shocked! This place wasn't busy, the service was poor, the food was horrible and the manager was useless. It's no wonder this outdated restaurant was almost empty!

Yelp
I have been coming here for years and never had a chance to write a review on Di Pescara The service here is always spot on and every server seems to know the menu well and the recommendations have always worked for me. Being from Chicago but not actually living here makes me crave Whitefish every time I come back. All three choices of Whitefish are so fresh, moist and delicious. My wife had the Horseradish Crusted Lake Superior Whitefish and I loved the Almond Crusted Whitefish. I've had both and it just depends what you are in the mood for. We usually get the grilled artichoke for appetizer and salad. The artichoke could be a bit bigger but delicious always. So this last visit we all noticed and agreed that the dining room needs to be updated and a bit more cheery. The dark carpets have been in here since we have been coming and a remodeling is definitely in order. One constant is the service and food are always great. The menu is diverse and every time I come here I try to order other dishes but the Lake Superior Whitefish is irresistible.

Yelp
Such a great experience... this was an anniversary dinner, noted on the reservation. As soon as we walked in, the staff at check in recognized us, we got a booth, even though it was two of us, we got complimentary Champagne, desert, and the staff was super nice and kept recognizing the event. The food was great of course, seafood stew, Tuna Tartar, deserts, yummm,,, and great portions, but it was such a personal experience and so well executed, I would give 6 stars if I could. Well done!

Pam M.

Yelp
There was a huge draft from the door that opens and leads to the mall for the take out orders, so every time someone came to get their order and opened the door we were freezing. Food was ok. Service was ok. Probably won't return.

Yelp
RESTAURANT WEEK RE-WIND The deals at Lettuce Entertain You businesses during RW '20 were so nice, we just had to visit twice. In previous years, I'd missed out on opportunities to enjoy restaurant week in the city (having read about people's experiences on Yelp after the fact). This time, I had my ear to the ground and when the LEY group announced that more than 30 of their spots would be participating, I jumped at the chance to spend a couple nights out with my wife. Having enjoyed a classy, albeit expensive dinner at Shaw's in Schaumburg the prior week, I set my sights on this Italian restaurant in Northbrook. Di Pescara is on the northern edge of the Northbrook Court mall, its entrance facing Lake Cook Rd. They seated us for a 6:30 rez on 10/9/20 -- a lovely Friday evening in early October -- back when the weather allowed outdoor dining. $25pp got us each three courses and a glass of wine, a terrific value when all's said and done. Bread & butter kept our hunger at bay until the first course showed up. House salads were decent but nothing that would warrant a picture or more detailed description. For an appetizer, we got the tuna tartare ($14). The delicate flavors of diced raw tuna matched up well with avocado, cucumber, wonton chips, and a tasty wasabi aioli. Nichole S gave the shrimp risotto a passing grade, a 5/10 in her book. On the other hand, I LOVED the chicken al limone. A quartet of lightly breaded, juicy chicken cutlets with capers in a lemon cream sauce was served over a bed of wilted spinach. The serving size was huge, though I would've really liked a choice of pasta on the side (i.e. angel hair). Bread = 4.5 Circuses = 4.5 Instead of an entire slice of cake/pie/brownie sundae, Di Pescara presented customers with a lighter alternative of "dessert bites". We chose the chocolate mousse & key lime pie, both were fantastic. I'd definitely want a full serving of the latter next time I'm here. Service was solid, and the temporary outdoor area they set up with tables and chairs suited us just fine. * TL;DR * When the check came, I thought "that can't be right.....can it?" With dinner for two priced at just under $75 total, it seemed like we'd discovered the bargain of the year. Also, Di Pescara was one of the ONLY restaurants in the Lettuce Entertain You group that offered a glass of wine w/restaurant week. They were ample pours, too! Thanks to those diminutive desserts, we left full although not overstuffed (this is in sharp contrast to Shaw's, whose massive piece of chocolate cake had the density of a black hole. No human could eat that without passing out in their chair). I was skeptical of the tiny desserts at first; now I can see why they went this route. Northbrook is too far off our radar so a return trip is unlikely, but I would recommend Di Pescara to practically anyone.

Yelp
From my 6 year old son: "the food is great, I love the buttered noodles and the service was great. They give a lot of extra Parmesan cheese which I love. Everyone is really nice. I kinda want it everyday. The place is beautiful."

Leslie B.

Yelp
Went here for Thanksgiving dinner and it was excellent. The host was great - we were sat within 10 minutes of our reservation. It was chaos in the front and he was calm and collected. Service was great and the food was delicious. Everything was spot on - we were thankful that we did not have to cook or clean-up. Great job!!!

Yelp
Ordered take out. Came home. Order missing the Strawberry Shortcake. Called restaurant. Transferred two times talked to host then carry out, then placed on hold for manager. Call then disconnected. Called back. Host says they did not hang up on me. I said the call dropped. They transferred me again to carry out. On hold again so I decided to come on yelp and share my experience. Can't tell you if the food is good because I have been on hold and now online sharing my experience so I haven't got to eat it. This review is just based on the customer service and accuracy of my order.

Ate there recently, food and service as good as always, but noticed that the COVID surcharge remains. COVID surcharges have disappeared everywhere else, why does this restaurant insist on continuing with them? Di Pescara, if you are going to respond to this post, prove that 100% of the surcharge funds are going directly to your employees. Provide transparency not only here but in your restaurant so that your customers know that our money is going to a good cause and we're not paying extra just because you're asking for more than the menu prices.

Yelp
Found a huge fly in my salad... I let the restaurant know and the man I spoke with told me that it happens often. I felt disgusted and appalled. I won't be returning. Very disappointed how this was handled in a supposed fine dining restaurant. After emailing the restaurant direct. I was mailed a $25 certificate for the fly in my meal, to use at the same restaurant. No thanks!! Not only is $25 unacceptable for what I went through and how disgusted I felt, but I certainly won't be returning back to this specific lettuce, entertain you restaurant!

Yelp
Making a reservation to have our family Thanksgiving meal here turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. Our table was waiting for us. Our waiter, Fabian was tough, not in every way. And the food was spectacular from start to finish. We ordered a bottle of wine to begin with, and toasted to the holiday and gave. Thanks for all our blessings. And then the food started coming in , I am not usually a fan of Vm, their orchard salad Green Goddess dressing but I really enjoyed theirs on their family style orchard salad. This came along with some slightly warmed, brioche dinner rolls, and whipped butter. Next was there really beautifully silky and well seasoned butternut squash soup with a few floating roasted seeds to help add a little extra texture. and I can't forget to mention they're delicious stuffed mushrooms. Yum! Then, for the mains and sides, there were smooth and buttery, mashed potatoes, a delicious, baked, sweet potato, delicate and lightly breaded with a crunch, leg, superior whitefish, both dark and white meat, sliced and very moist turkey, caramelized, brussels sprouts, delicious cranberry sauce made with a hint of orange and Service was very well paced. They kept our eyes slaughtered, filled, and continue to check on us without being intrusive. To finish, there was coffee, apple, strudel, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. What an excellent meal. I also loved the ambience switch had plenty of energy and buzz while still being subdued and calm. Somehow they managed to have light which put the white coming from the ceiling down to the center of your table so you can see what you're eating and see the food but it's enough off to the side. There is plannable, free parking. Their bathrooms are clean and pleasant. They have an entry ramp for those who need it, including wheelchairs. Highly recommended. Excellent value we will definitely be returning!

Yelp
We celebrated a birthday last night at Di Pescara and had a reservation in the bar area. Our food was delicious. This post is really to highlight our experience with Bobby, our waiter. He is the BEST!! Bobby was efficient, helpful, and friendly. He checked in with us occasionally, which I really liked. We had a great experience. Thanks Di Pescara for a great evening, Bobby was the star last night! Look forward to the next time!

Yelp
Service was poor. Disappointing for a let us restaurant. Atmosphere dated. Mall vibe and rumor is they are moving.

Yelp
This is a large, inviting Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. The drinks are decent, and the food is very good. Prices are a bit high but appropriate for being part of a mall and northshore. Service was a bit strained on a Saturday night but that's to be expected. It's part of the Northbrook Mall, so we stopped in early on a Saturday, and had a dinner meal, with two drinks, and a shared chopped salad. The server was great about dividing our salad we shared at the table. We had the two specials: pot roast and a ragout pasta also suprisingly made with the pot roast beef. Both had delicious flavours, and the vegetables were not over-cooked, yay! Nice bathrooms, clean, relaxing to sit in a large booth.
