Do Rienzo's has been around for ages. Iconic Deli Sandwich institution. They also provide warm dishes and desserts. Win win situation and the price is right. I attempted to eat this humongous sandwich loaded with spicy hot Italian cold cuts. Tones of veggies. It was a battle. LOL. Do stop in.

I was visitting a friend in Ottawa who suggested we go to Di Rienzo's for sandwiches. It is a small deli, packed with Italian goodies and products. We were there for the sandwiches, we ordered #14, #1 & #6. We were 3 people but we didn't expect the sandwiches to be huge. The 3 sandwiches were freshly made and ready in 2 minutes. The sandwiches were very good. Everything was so fresh, from the bun to the lettuce and everything in between. Is the sandwich worth $10? Yes! You can eat it in two takes, even 3 depends how hungry you are.

I make an Italian bread every year for Christmas. And I brought in my recipe and they helped me with the ingredients and the measurements. The young gentleman was so friendly and kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back again

Radomly saw a video sharing how amazing this place was. I had an apt today and googled how far I was from this place and it was only 6 min. Wow wow wow!! Brought home 2 sandwiches that stayed in the car for about an hour while I did a few more errands - when I finally was able to sit down and have bite - immediately my husband and I said these are the best sandwiches we ever had! For the portion and price so well worth it! Oh and the cannoli - amazing!

Was recommended this place to come pick up sandwiches when we had the Ontario volleyball championships here a few weeks ago. Definitely a recommend and a must when visiting Ottawa. Can see why this is probably the number one sandwich spot in Ottawa. The meat is fresh and they sandwiches are loaded. It’s also a big bang for your buck. Very great value at $10 taxes in for any sandwich on the menu. And when i was carrying the bag, can i just say, these were heavy little guys too! They also take online orders so you can have it ready to be picked up when you go. Oh, also the cannolis. One of the best I’ve had in awhile. And do t get one, you’re gonna regret not getting a second one. Service was decent and you might be skeptical when you first walk in as it looks like an old school convenience store. But everyone was so impressed with the sandwich. The coaches even asked to have it a second time around for the second day. Parking is tough if there’s a lot of people. There’s a small parking lot but looks like many people also park on the street to make a quick stop to pick up and go. So highly recommend placing your orders online. Also got a veal sandwich which was great but i believe the sandwich is the star of the show here. Great job overall!

Good sandwich spot in Ottawa. Gets busy. Take out and cash only. They have hot sandwiches ready made or cold made to order. Authentic Italian topping choices (marinated veg) and authentic italian meats. Reasonably priced in relation to other take out in the city.

I drove all the way out from carp today to try these sandwiches. I’m going to start with the customer service. When I walked in the door I was greeted immediately and the guy who made my order was extremely friendly and had great customer service. The restaurant was clean and very unique inside. Offering a small selection of grocery,large selection of sandwiches and hot foods,pasta ect. The price. For what you get for $10 tax in,these sandwiches are MASSIVE. Arm in pic for comparison. Made completely with fresh ingredients,the bread is great,the meat is even better. The veggies are quite fresh. I was not expecting the size to be this big and will prob be 2 meals each for me! What an amazing value for the price and the taste is one of the absolute BEST sandwiches I’ve ever had in this city hands down. Well worth the drive down and back in rush hour! I cannot recommend this shop more!! Thanks a lot guys!! Incredible quality and value!
