Dia de Los Puercos

Dia de los puercos is a fantastic option for Mexican food when dining in the Riverside Food Lab! It's a nice friendly clean eatery, where mostly everything is made to order. Plenty of food options to choose from including beer in a tall can or in the draft. I chose the nachos which comes with the usual nacho toppings. Cheese, cilantro, beans, salsa, and your choice of two Meats. I chose the carne asada and the al pastor. It was delicious! It's a treat because they give you fried cheese on top! A must-try!

The Al pastor here is pretty good. I had it on "El Sangweesh", a torta made with beans, cabbage, cilantro, onions, cream, guac, cotija cheese, and choice of meat. The churros are sweet, topped with bacon and sweetened condensed milk. I also had the "Horchake", a rice milk drink combined with cinnamon sake, sweetened condensed milk and marzapan. Pretty good place to eat at and quite frankly one of like two places that serves food that's not vegan.

When they warn you the Jackfruit is spicy...be smarter than me and listen! The food was delicious though!!!!

Absolutely horrendous food, these other reviews on here have to be fake. Nastiest beans I’ve ever had no flavor what so ever, meat absolutely no flavor. Was given food with chips and no salsa, had to ask for it. Who has chips with no salsa? Probably should have been me the salsa was nasty too. Ordered the sangria with fruits and got a plain cup of something that tasted like 99 cent store wine. The girl at the register was nice enough so there’s the one star, the food deserves negative stars. Feel like I got ripped off for spending over 40 bucks for me and my wife to eat disgusting food I couldn’t even finish. How do you screw up simple Mexican food? Very disappointed, visit this place at your own risk.

Honestly I don’t usually like to give bad reviews on any restaurant, but I just have to say I had the worse bean and cheese burrito ever, technically this burrito was for my granddaughter and she didn’t like it, beans did not taste good at all and the white cheese they use never melted, it was cold, no flavor what so ever, and we also order another burrito i think they called it home burrito, it sounded good on the menu but omg I’m sorry they really need to make better beans and at the end had a chunk of salt, we shared half with my husband, thank goodness didn’t order one each, the salsa for the chips was awful I don’t even know what the heck of salsa was that, and we had to ask for it too, the chips came with no salsa, I’m a good cook. And I know what good food is

Went for the 1st time today. Very disappointing. Ordered the Asada tacos and 2 meat nachos and got the worst tasting tacos and nachos i ever had. That place is all hype and the Food is wack. I Didn't even finish the eating the food. Horchata was stepped on 3 or 4 times before i even got a cup. Spend Your money at a real taco spot this place is all hype. Bacon hotdog was garbage ended up in trash can.

Food is delicious!!! Been there twice. First time I had the sopes, which are made from scratch with masa, when ordered!!! Second time, I had these Nachos (2 types of meats) and the Horchata. There is a bit of a wait, depending on the time of day, but it was worth it for us as we really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed my first visit to the Riverside Foodlab... I went straight to the Dia de Los Puercos and I loved it. I can't speak about the Homie Burrito because my daughter had it, but it looked delicious and very hearty. I had the tostada, corn and shared the nachos... very delicious, great taste, the salsas were on point and the Michelada is one of the best I've had, hands down. Very busy place, very trendy. I think they need to expand, it's a bit crowded.
