"Since opening in 2009, Derrick Widmark’s tiny burger joint has been racking up “best burger” awards. The restaurant’s namesake is Diablo Trust, a conservation collaborative established by two local ranching families who sell their grass-fed beef to Widmark. He cooks each lean, charbroiled patty to a juicy medium-rare (unless the customer insists otherwise) and tucks it into an English muffin branded with a “DB.” The menu offers 11 burger combos (don’t miss the “Señor Smoke” topped with ancho grilled onions, grilled avocado, bacon, cilantro, and sriracha mayo), plus the option to build your own burger from an array of fun ingredients, including beets, chimichurri, and coffee barbecue sauce. Add excellent Belgian-style fries to your order and grab a seat on the patio, the better to ogle the pop surrealism-inspired mural painted by local artist Joe Sorren." - Nikki Buchanan

Diablo Burger offered a great experience, even with a 30-45 minute Saturday evening wait. The staff were enthusiastic and friendly, and the relaxed, communal seating added to the vibe. My "Marilyn" burger was good, but the herb-topped fries were the true standout, especially when paired with their delicious DB Special Sauce.

Google
It was an above average burger that was served at room temp. I enjoyed the toppings of hatch chilies. The amount of meat for this burger requires tons of salt and mine was under salted, yet, saved by the English Muffin it is served on. This bun also works well in dealing with the sauces and juices from within. It took over an hour to get this food. If someone didn't recommend it and if there wasnt a ton of rewards I would have walked away. Was it good yeah. Was it worth the wait. Meh. The fries are great! I'm glad I had it. But won't go out of my way or wait that long again for it.

Got to finally visit Diablo Burger, and it was unique. I loved the atmosphere, and the service was top-notch! The metal work throughout was a nice touch and made me want to look around to see where it was added. The food was good. I thought the English muffin for a bun was creative but found that it didn't hold up to the weight and juices of the burger. I felt obligated to eat the burger without putting it down as the bun started becoming soggy. The flavor of my burger was really good, though, and the bacon was nicely cooked. I would have preferred a plate instead of the basket it came in, only because I ended up eating my burger over the fries because it was juicy, and that caused the fries to get soggy. I thought the fries were just ok, probably because they were soggy after the hamburger drippings, but I loved dipping them in the Dijon mustard they have at the table 😋

Google
Really cool tiny gourmet? Burger place. Very unique offerings and presentation. The patty is grass fed beef and has an amazing flavor! It is high, and each menu option is completely unique. I would not recommend this place for picky eaters. The bun is replaced with an English muffin branded with “DB” which I thought meant Douche Bag, but they have repurposed it. Really great food and staff!

Google
Great burger and fries. Here are some things to know. It is an English muffin not a regular bun.. but a pleasant change. They start the burgers at medium, if you like the meat cooked different tell them to front.

Google
Had a group of 6. 4 different types of burgers and everyone enjoyed. My son got a grilled cheese and loved it. Fries were excellent. My DB burger was one of the top burgers I have had.

Google
Small burger spot with solid meat in the center of old downtown Flagstaff. People with peanut allergies stay clear of the fries! The burger itself was fresh and had good flavor. Cooked to order, a medium sized patty that's a bit thicker. It's served on a branded English muffin. They fry their french fries in peanut oil, which is a shame if you have a nut allergy... Because they did look tasty. Could definitely use more allergy signage, as I almost missed the note on the menu. Small order counter with a handful of tables inside and then a few more outside on the edge of Heritage Square.

Google
What I liked: a grass fed burger on a gluten-free English muffin with quality toppings, cooked to temp, with expectations being set by signage all around the entrance and ordering area; the fries are never frozen and are cooked in peanut oil, which for me is preferable to canola or other seed oils; getting a cash discount and tipping the cow! The food was fantastic! The indoor seating has high-top copper tables, which can leave a metallic aroma on your hands or bare arms, so we sat outside at a wooden low-top shared with a great couple and their fur-baby. It was wonderful!!

Yelp
Diablo Burger in Flagstaff, Arizona, offers a unique and satisfying dining experience that combines high-quality ingredients with bold flavors. Located in the heart of downtown Flagstaff, this casual yet vibrant eatery specializes in gourmet burgers made with locally sourced, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free beef. The standout feature of Diablo Burger is its commitment to fresh, local ingredients. The burgers are stacked high with juicy, perfectly cooked patties, complemented by fresh toppings like tangy cheese, crisp lettuce, and flavorful sauces. One popular option is the "Diablo Burger," which comes with a spicy kick from jalapeños and a smoky chipotle aioli--ideal for those who like a little heat with their meal. The buns are soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without becoming soggy. Beyond the burgers, Diablo offers a range of creative sides like hand-cut fries, fried pickles, and a variety of dipping sauces that elevate the overall meal. Their beer selection is also worth noting, with a rotating selection of local craft beers to pair with your burger. The atmosphere is laid-back and cozy, with a funky, rustic vibe that feels perfect for Flagstaff's mountain-town charm. The service is friendly and efficient, though it can get busy during peak times, so be prepared to wait for a table on weekends. If you're in Flagstaff and craving a burger that goes beyond the typical fast-food fare, Diablo Burger is a must-visit spot. It's a perfect blend of great taste, local pride, and friendly vibes

Yelp
Such a yummy spot. I got the big daddy kane. The burger and fries where delicious. The ranch tasted good too. I got the Mexican sprite too and it was good. They have benches outside and high tops inside.

Bekah S.

Yelp
These burgers! The homemade English muffins! The meat, wow! Such high quality and so so delicious! Service was great! It's such a busy spot it was hard to find seating. Such a cool vibe downtown and a fun area!

Valeri M.

Yelp
Did not have a great experience as soon as we walked in the young girl working up at the front was just so rude... we mentioned we where new and where extremely nice with her just not sure where all the attitude came from. The meal costed us $50! For a burger meal + grill cheese meal and a beer that's just way too much! The flavor was completely off on everything, overdone burger meat, soggy fries at the bottom and the grilled cheese did not have a good flavor. The only good thing was the pickle. There was also barely any seating inside it was freezing outside so we waited for a table to free up. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't be back it's a no for us.

Erica W.

Yelp
Cute (and cold) little bistro that serves up fresh food. The veggie burgers are really tasty! Kids grilled cheese was a hit too! The "frites" aren't authentic Belgian fries and just seemingly shoestring fries with some spice, so slightly misleading. Nonetheless a good spot on the NAU campus for a quick bite! Check it out. :)

Yelp
Love DB. The modern hippy vibe was cool. Love the step back ambiance in the 80s feel. My burger was solid, delicious. There's plenty of outdoor seating especially when the weather is nice. Service was excellent. I'd definitely come back. Cheers!

Yelp
I was recommended this place by two people. I'm a big time burger guy and was excited to come since I was in Flagstaff on a trip. The line was long, cool not a problem. I ordered and there was nowhere to sit, ok they're busy. Then I finally get my burger. It sucked. Everyone I was with and mine were completely rare. I actually like a medium rare burger and eat raw meat of all kinds, but this was just cold red meat. It wasn't even good flavor. The bun is an English muffin, which I learned I am not a fan of either. It was too busy, not great atmosphere, and a burger that sucked but looks good in a photo. Sorry but I won't be back

Jesse P.

Yelp
I have been meaning to drive this place for a minute and I finally got to. I ordered the senior smoke and it was shmack af #fire the service there was dope, and the atmosphere was pretty chill small but chill I've only had one thing, but the food is 10 out of 10 great flavors will definitely be coming back

Zubir E.

Yelp
Came back here twice in 2 nights. Can't go wrong with any of the burgers as the beef patty is just so thick, juicy and cooked perfectly! It's just awesome. The Diablo burger is our favorite here. You can also order online and do all the customization for take out. Restaurant is quite small inside but they have a good amount of outdoor seating.

Christ K.

Yelp
We had a early dinner yesterday, the last meal we ate and my 13 yr old son is throwing up this morning, we feel nauseous. The restaurant recommended we cook our burgers at medium rare so that is what we did. We spoke to the manager (blonde hair with a nose ring) about the meat being under cooked and she said that they recommend to cook at 130 even though it's ground beef. We asked another employee and he said it was 150. No one seemed to know what exact temperature.

Kate T.

Yelp
Contrary to most of these reviews, I love the english muffin bun! Sometimes I think a brioche bun or a breadier roll can be too sweet and overpower the burger's flavor, and the english muffin, for me, is the perfect solution. Sure it makes the burger a bit smaller, but I always leave Diablo Burger stuffed and satisfied. They use high quality meat cooked to a perfect medium rare and their fries are crispy and delicious, especially with burger sauce and drippings on top. The service is always friendly and everyone is happy to help. Definitely my favorite burger in Flagstaff.

Daniel A.

Yelp
A must try while in Flagstaff. This unique burger place has a tasty twist on flavors and burger style that I'm glad I came. Overall id say to make sure to get some side sauces. I got some extra spicy mayo or something of the sort and it really helped spice up the burger and it was delicious at that point. If it was just the burger it might have lacked some flavor. The fries on the side are excellent. Very satisfied

Amogh N.

Yelp
Over hyped tourist trap with not much seating, serving burgers on English muffins just because they can.

Veronica K.

Yelp
Diablo Burger came highly recommended as the best burger in Flagstaff, mainly for its thick patties and English muffins used as buns. After trying it a few times, I'm not sure I agree with the hype. The burgers were just okay, and I found them to be quite overpriced for what you get. On the plus side, they have outside seating, which is great if you're with dogs. Its location in Downtown Flagstaff is convenient, with plenty of shops and stores nearby to explore.

Liz F.

Yelp
This place has been hyped up since the day I moved to Arizona. And five years in, I finally tried the infamous Diablo burger. I ordered the Big Daddy Kane, by the staff's recommendation, which had bacon, cheddar, pickles, and a Thousand Island sauce. I liked the biscuit bun! But otherwise the burger was pretty average. I wouldn't necessarily wait in a long line for it. Their fries are made in peanut oil (hello nut allergy) so I ordered the side salad as replacement with an extra fee. The salad was big and good! You order at the counter and then wait inside until they can seat you outside. There is no eating indoors... it's only for waiting for an outdoor spot after order. This gets a bit weird if you are here with a group but don't all arrive at once. No holding seats inside while you wait. Staff was friendly all around.

Brittney C.

Yelp
This is a very quaint restaurant with limited seating inside approximately 5 big tables. We were able to seat 7. They are high top tables, not the best for little kids. Outdoor seating is a few large tables. You stand in line to order, this evening the line was out the door and took about 15 minutes to get up to the counter to order. Burgers are on the thicker side. Fries were good. Limited drink menu, lacking in basics for kids I.e lemonade (they have a sparkling lemonade). The gluten free bun was good. Servers were very kind and helpful.

Yelp
After hearing about it for ages, I finally made my way to Diablo Burger for dinner last night... We had a party of 5 humans and 1 dog. My husband and our friend Dave had been before, while it was my first time experiencing it and the first time for my kids as well. What I didn't know going in: it's a fast casual concept with a somewhat limited menu. We did have to wait about 10-15 minutes to place our order and another 10 mins or so to get seated at one of the community tables outside. It was worth the wait, however. DB is very good at what they do offer: locally sourced ingredients and delicious burgers, toppings, english muffins and fries. I customized my burger with sharp cheddar cheese, spicy honey mustard, and Crimini mushrooms and followed the recommendation to have my burger cooked medium-rare. I enjoyed it very much and ate a fair share of fries with it too. I also ordered a salad for the table, but that was not a hit... I probably would stick to burgers in the future. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers too, except for my 10 year old daughter. She normally does enjoy burgers but DB burgers are thicker than what she is used to, and she just was not into it. If you do have picky eaters in your group, this may not be the place for you, but there are plenty of other options nearby if needed. Service was attentive and friendly enough, especially considering the fast-casual concept. It may have been my first time at Diablo Burger, but it will not be my last!

Yelp
The devil went down to Flagstaff. Diablo Burger is a local favorite. This hole in the wall burger spot serves up thick patties stacked on English muffins in the center of downtown Flagstaff. I recently stopped by for lunch with my parents. We explored a number of items from their menu, including their fluffy fries and burgers. I ordered their BD House with chimichurri and an overeasy fried egg on a veggie patty. Their ingredients were incredibly yummy and fresh. The veggie patty wasn't anything special though. Diablo Burger is inside of a pretty unique space attached to the local mall. The building is a sphere with seats available both indoors and outdoors. Definitely a unique and memorable spot to check out the next time you're in the area!

Greg S.

Yelp
Interesting and 'kitschy' spot in old town. Decent outdoor seating, but it was raining and cold, so we hopped inside to have some lunch. Place was pretty empty when we arrived, but filled up after we ordered and sat down. The inside is pretty tight, and designed kind of like half of a giant drum with a high ceiling and curved wall where the seating is. There was a bunch of construction going on 'upstairs' (like on the roof) so who knows what's happening. We ordered at the counter when we first walked in, grabbed our number and sat at one of their high tables. The menu has some fun names for the different burgers. Took a while for our food to come out, burgers of course. Interesting that they use English muffins for the buns, which makes your burger a bit smaller than normal. Tons of "stuff" on them and they were quite messy to work with. The food is served on top of the pile of fries (way too many fries). The problem we found was that the drippings and 'stuff' all drip into the fries, making them soggy... didn't like that at all. Give me crispy fries any day. The burgers were just ok in my opinion. But, we are never one's to shy away from a new dining experience.

Haeley R.

Yelp
The interior is very small, but the flavors are very big! I got the Blake burger and it was delicious. The portions are PERFECT. Enough that you're satiated, but not stuffed. And they have pickles, which is arguably the Most important component. Staff were courteous and efficient!

Hanna V.

Yelp
Diablo Burger is delicious! Pros: - Fries have rosemary in them and maybe a garlic oil? They are delicious! - Plenty of burger options ! - Attentive and kind staff. Cons: - English Muffin? I just don't quite get the appeal. I'd rather have a hamburger bun. - Small burgers with pricey tag! The tomatoes and lettuce were double the size of the patty and the bun! - Limited seating. You likely will be sharing a seat with someone else. Most outdoor seats are in the sun.

Carlos C.

Yelp
Good spot to grab a bite. However I do think it's a bit overpriced, but you're in DT Flagstaff so I guess that's expected. I got the Señor Smoke and overall pretty good. I recommend it. Seating is limited overall however it is shared so if you see room at a table outside, it's up for grabs. Service was fine.

Lemuel C.

Yelp
The worst service in Flagstaff! I visited the city for the first time and because I love hamburgers we tried this place. Not only was the burger just ok, the girl at the register (white girl with wavy brown hair wearing glasses) was rude and uninviting. Not sure what her problem was but she should not be the person greeting guest nor taking orders. Horrible service and that's enough to keep me from returning. Avoid this place! Everywhere else in the city was great.

Jaime P.

Yelp
Cool place and the quality is definitely good, but the burgers feel like they could use a little seasoning or a smash to it to get some extra flavor. The fries are also good and a generous portion, the herbs on ours was a little heavy though and not pleasant, to me anyways, when I'd get a bite of what I believe is fennel. I could overlook these things and come back if it wasn't for the long wait, what I thought by other ordering lines might be 20-30 minutes and ended up being an hour. Not because the line is long but because they seem to just not care. The girl taking orders meanders around doing other things and has a idgaf if you've been waiting attitude. She's also delivering drinks out to your table and delivering food and I get if they're short staffed, but maybe pick up the pace, and if that's just how they run things there and is normal, it's not an efficient process at all. Is it worth trying, sure the quality is great, but if there's a line be prepared for a longer than you expect wait. And if you're already hangry, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, and save this place for another day lol.

Melissa G.

Yelp
Great consistent food and good service. Savory and tasty! Fries alone are worth going for. Tried a veggie burger.... Meh wouldn't order again but kids burgers ( one lettuce wrap) and a double build your own were great! Good outdoor atmosphere. Great spot to try if you're down town or want a quality burger!

Sophie S.

Yelp
Food was good! Not many tables available but that's ok. Burgers came pretty fast! They have gluten free buns available as well!! Burger options are very unique and delicious! However, while we ate there was live music nearby and a nice outdoor atmosphere! Great place for a quick, good meal.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Very rude and disorganized front of house - extremely over priced. Tourist trap, not a welcoming spot for locals because they are renowned for being over priced, under staffed, crowded and frequently rude. Certain staff give the impression they don't care about the customer experience . At this price point that matters. There's a lot of great burger places in Flag. Recommend skipping this one especially if they are busy. I once waited in line only to have the hostess/cashier stop taking orders as soon as it was my turn. At a minimum she could have put a sign out and ended the line before folks waited 45 min - an hour to order only to be turned away. Also, everyone can hear and see the way you are speaking to your customers.

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
My husband and I shared: - School of Rock Burger (special) - DB House Burger The burgers were ok, but they weren't my favorite. They were really dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. The English muffins didn't really work as a bun for me either. The fries were my favorite part. They have white a few sauce options for them and both that we had were very good.

Adrian B.

Yelp
My family ordered four veggie burgers after a long drive that had left us hungry. What appeared on our plates was slightly larger than a slider, but was by no means a true burger; the m.o. of Diablo Burger is their use of English muffins in lieu of a proper burger bun. The lunch that we received can only be described as dry, micro-burgers on an otherwise generous pile of french fries along with two pickle spears that dwarfed the burgers. We were also disappointed with the parsimonious inclusion of our two requested ingredients. Our dry, sauceless "burgers", the patties of which looked the color of beef jerky, included perhaps a teaspoon of roasted garlic or less and at best nearly a tablespoon of green chilies. The English muffins themselves seemed to present an aesthetically charred effect which seemed to have more effort put into them than the burgers themselves. To be fair, the service was decent, though the music was too loud. We also appreciate that there was a vegetarian option; however, hungry travelers deserve burgers larger than the palms of their children's hands. Meat burgers on other tables were the same size. These expensive little mouthfuls cost the same as big, cosmopolitan entrees in the restaurant we had dined in the night before.

Nicole B.

Yelp
One of my favorite regular stops in downtown Flagstaff. They have all kinds of sauces and toppings, and I love that they put your burger in an English muffin. Great fries. Always quick and friendly service. Not a lot of seating inside, but I prefer the outside benches.

Norm L.

Yelp
I've heard about this place for quite a few years and finally had a chance to try it Labor Day weekend. The quality of the food and the vibe was great. However, I wasn't a fan of the English muffin and the value for the food was not the best. I'm glad I tried this place but don't know if I'll be back.

Skylar W.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I recently visited the Grand Canyon and the dining options within an hour of there are pretty scarce. We decided to drive back through Flagstaff and stop for lunch. We were both in the mood for burgers after our hike, so I came to Yelp and found Diablo. And I'm so happy I did. The inside is very small, and shaped like a crescent moon which was very interesting. It's dark and intimate and you can see back into the kitchen from the tables. All of their burgers are served on English muffins so I opted out (the Thomas English muffins have whey in them so they're not dairy free) and got a lettuce wrap instead, knowing I'd end up eating it with fork and knife anyways. The meat is local, and they recommend having it cooked medium rare. I got mushrooms and chimichurri on mine! The fries are absolutely phenomenal. Perfect salt, perfect crisp. I ate enough of them to satiate a large man, but that's besides the point. We hiked that day, ok?! Typically I order medium but decided to let them do their thing, and I did end up wishing I'd gotten it medium because it was less cooked than I tend to prefer. Just a note if you prefer yours more cooked through like I do! Overall, awesome experience and Diablo and we'd definitely go back!

Michalann A.

Yelp
Checked this place out while visiting Flagstaff. Great food! Staff was really nice. My husband loved his burger. They use English muffins for their bun. It was delicious. My favorite was the Frites. The seasoning was delicious. I wish I could recreate them at home! They were that good. Location is downtown. You order from a counter and seat yourself. They bring the food relatively quickly. There was lots of employees working, so they were attentive to every need of every guest. Go if you want a quick bite and good food!

Sarah B.

Yelp
The food is TOP NOTCH! Absolutely love their speciality burgers, fries, and sauces! They use English muffins as the burger buns and it doesn't disappoint!! I also love that they literally brand their burgers with the DB logo. I aim to come here every time I'm in Flagstaff. The only downside is the limited seating. They have communal high top tables and the chairs are pretty uncomfortable.

Keith T.

Yelp
Diablo Burger has been on my bucket list for a while. Finally, I was in town and made the time to have lunch. Nearly all the ratings where off the chart; I was looking forward to the "best burger." First, their burgers are cooked to what they call "medium rare"; which was fine with me. Knowing that when I ordered, it didn't bother me that I wasn't asked about temperature which they definitely should be asking. My burger arrived more on the rare side than medium. The middle of burger was raw ground beef. I wasn't going to say anything until another customer sitting at the same table complained about her burger being raw in the middle. Immediately, the server became argumentative. Finally, I spoke up and said, yes, you are serving raw beef today. The argument continued with me and I asserted that I know how to cook by temperature and this burger wasn't temperature checked in the middle before pulling from the grill. They are very defensive of their idea of medium rate. Be warned, unless you state firmly when ordering that you want medium, medium well or well done, you will be served what they consider medium rare. Expect raw ground beef. I' m not a fan of a burger served on an English muffin; but that is what they offer. The beef is high quality and if cooked to a proper medium rate (135F), I'm sure it would be delicious. Know that is a 6oz (before cooking) burger. Fries - They are seasoned with thyme, oregano, lavender and salt. While they were perfectly cooked, it's not to my liking to have lavender fries. Overall, at $50 for two burgers, with fries, a salad and two drinks is overpriced. I will not be going back. @Diablo - if you find yourself arguing with a customer, you've already lost. Not only are you wrong for arguing, every customer within ear shot hears you. The customer may not always be right, but if you do your job correctly, they will always be your customer.

Yelp
tl;dr the heavenly Belgian-style frites and upscale dipping sauces steal the show from the good-not-great burgers Diablo Burger is Derrick Widmark's sophisticated, hyperlocal homage to the classic burger joint. The eponymous Diablo Trust is a collaborative, open-range ranching venture just outside of Flagstaff, from which Diablo acquires its beef. Otherwise, Diablo strives to source all its remaining ingredients and beverages from within a 250-mile radius. I had wanted to try Diablo during my first trip to Flagstaff but just missed out; as luck would have it, a friend and I detoured through Flagstaff during our recent trip. The restaurant can be challenging to find, adjacent but not contiguous with the Old Town Shops. Look for local artist Joe Sorren's moody, surrealist mural in the back plaza; Diablo's entrances are on either side. Inside the circular space, warm-hued accent lighting and deep-toned pumpkin-orange and squash-yellow walls create an intimate vibe. Bright red, heavy-duty steel stools are pressed up against copper communal tabletops, and wrought iron fixtures complete the industrial-chic aesthetic. Instrumental music hums around the space. We arrived for weekday lunch, and there were a decent number of patrons. I asked the cashier which burger was the most popular and landed on the Big Daddy Kane (Diablo's bacon cheeseburger). The thick, hockey puck-shaped patty was charbroiled to medium-rare and mashed between a "db" branded, crispy, and sturdy English muffin. The burger itself was good, if not small and standard -- what elevated it were the additional dipping sauces (we loved the Sriracha Mayo and the Coffee BBQ Sauce). On the other hand, the hefty pile of accompanying shoestring fries was plenty enjoyable even sans sauce. Double-fried and sprinkled with salt and Herbes de Provence, the frites were rich and flavorful. My buddy, meanwhile, had opted for "The Netzky" Veggie Burger. He ventured to guess that his dairy- and wheat-free patty was sweet potato-based, and he found it flavorful but comically thin compared to my beef burger. The bill worked out to around $40 (after tax and tip) between the two of us, and the meal left us mild-to-moderately full. Diablo is no doubt better than any standard fast-food variety -- but the marginal improvement in quality didn't blow me away. Maybe opt for one of Diablo's more adventurous burger combos, and don't miss out on the fries and sauces.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous burger. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Juicy with wonderful flavor and crispy fries that compliment everything. It's a little tough to find, there's no street front situation. It's on what would be like a public square with a small corner store. You have to really hunt for it, but do it. It's sooooooo worth it. The night we went we sat outside and a band was playing in the square and it was just the best!!!!! Highly recommend and we'll be making the drive from Phoenix again definitely

Yelp
Diablo Burger gave me a 10/10 meal!! The meal I got was their special at the time, called The Big E burger served with grilled pineapple and a HUGE slice of meat! This burger was a 9.5/10 if I ever had one!!! But what made the meal a 10/10 is the 9/10 fries and their pickle spear that comes with the burger!! Those fries don't need anything else except what salt that comes on the fries already! It was kinda pricey though, the meal I got was around $17 dollars, but there are a lot of fries that come with the burger! I definitely recommend Diablo Burger! The service is great and the ambiance!! But there is limited inside seating though, but they do have a heated balcony area for people to sit too!

Tarren P.

Yelp
This place is SO GOOD. I used to come here years ago when I was at NAU. We got the Señor Smoke (my fav) and the Wrigley Field. The quality and service is still OUTSTANDING. We left happy with full bellies. Yum!

Luke L.

Yelp
We were greeted by the waitress rolling her eyes at my family while we were looking through the menu... I guess we took too long. They messed up my order, wrong cheeses on burger. She suggested medium rare, and the burger came out still breathing it was so rare. When I asked about it, they tried to play it off and tell me it was medium rare and blame it on me, saying I was wrong. They then offered to fix it by "warming it back up" on the grill after I had taken a bite. Uncomfortable chairs, way too expensive, and the burgers are tiny. I highly recommend saving your money and going to Dairy Queen down the street. French fries were 10/10 I would give zero stars but the fries were solid.

Yelp
Looking for a great burger in Flagstaff? Diablo Burger is a great stop. Amazing beef patty burgers, surprisingly tasty english muffin buns (ya, but hear me out), truly fresh toppings and stellar fries. I've been spending the long weekend in Flagstaff trying out local haunts for food ideas. Diablo Burgers was a gamble for us cause we hadn't heard of it, and only went cause it was close to our nearby hotel. But that gamble paid off. Located right downtown Flagstaff in the restored square in the historic downtown area, the burger stop has a large outdoor table and hightop seating area. Inside are a half dozen hightop tables if you want to drink alcohol or be indoors. The whole decor and vibe is rustic but renewal vibe, very fun. The menu is basically about a dozen selections of different burgers, all featuring local high grade 95% lean beef (really, it is truly worth the taste), your choice of condiments (via the burger name) and the unique english muffin bun. The english muffin bun is absolutely a brilliant and fun thing. And it totally works. Less carbs, and really great container that doesnt get soggy holding their massive patties. The fries aee likewise excellent, thin sliced and crispy natural cut fries. Love it. Prices are a out 15 per burger and that includes fries. The staff is courteous, helpful and patient even with older people asking lots of obvious questions :) . If you are in Flagstaff, or visiting, this is the absolute best burger stop in Flagstaff. Try it!

Yelp
Gave it a try, pretty good, got it to go which was not the best choice due to cooling off too much before i got back to my motel, would have been better if I had it there. Over all a good burger & frys. I had the burger medium rare, which it what they recommended, but the burger was too rare for my taste, medium well would have been better, worth another try

Yelp
My friend said only good things about this spot on our drive into Flagstaff so I definitely had my bar set high. I'll be honest I'm not a huge burger person and when it comes to burgers I believe in the simpler the better. I ordered the Senor Smoke and my friend got the Traveling Wilburys. Upon first impression the burgers are on the pricer side for just a burger, but they do come with fries, a big pickle, a slice of tomato, and a leaf of lettuce. I was warned about the fact that the meat patties are on the leaner side ahead of time, but what I wasn't told was that I'd be getting an English muffin instead of a brioche bun. I got my burger medium rare but in hindsight it was more on the medium side and I probably should've ordered rare. I did like the db branding on the top bun, I thought that was unique and a nice touch, but I don't think I'm sold on eating all of my burgers on English muffins just quite yet. The size of the meat patty is on the generous side, but honestly I wish it was thinner so I could taste more of the other toppings. All I remember in hindsight is meat, English muffin, and a bit of spice from the sriracha mayo. I've also realized that I'm a fan of the fat content in my beef--90%+ lean is just too lean for my personal liking. The fries were well seasoned but weren't my personal favorite. They're on the skinny side and I think the taste of the frying oil was what kind of put me off. I wish there was an option to order just the burger without the fries for a lesser price. Overall, if you have a particular taste for English muffin burgers and extra lean beef then I think this spot will be a winner for you. It was by all means good food, but I don't think I'll have a craving for it anytime soon.

Yelp
Loved our burgers! We ordered "The Blake" which had, "Hatch Chile Mayo, Roasted Green Chiles, & Sharp Cheddar." We ordered it medium rare and it was perfect! Fries come with the burger and they were perfect as well, I saw some dried fennel and rosemary in the mix. They are thin and crunchy too! I ordered various dipping sauces for them (.75 each). Their house thousand island, and curry one were good. Highly recommend! Great burgers, and their patio is dog friendly.

Yelp
Prices are absurdly expensive, especially for a slider. The inside seating is very cramped but they have tables outside. Pretty sure my boyfriend and I's sliders were raw, we couldn't finish them. We left extremely disappointed because we heard a lot of great things about this place.

Yelp
Staff was incredibly rude. It was our first time in and had a question about the menu, guess that wasn't allowed. Such Poor service better burger options in town.

Yelp
Burger was delicious!! got the Big Daddy Kane w/ an extra patty medium rare. Was delicious!! French fries were seasoned as well. Was a little thrown off with the bread, but worked out.

Yelp
Located in the middle of downtown. Burger was smaller than expected but still tasty. They ask how you want it cooked and you can eat inside or outside. Slightly pricier than I expected. Fries were very good and ranch was even better.

Yelp
This place is awesome! I loved everything!! My burger was great and so were the fries. I'm moving out of town in a few days and I'm kicking myself for never having tried this place until now.
