Google
Hands down my favorite spot in Paso. I was referred here by Stillson Cellars and Diablo did not disappoint. The server was super nice and gave us time to enjoy a variety of wines. The wines were all excellent. Left purchasing several bottles and glasses. This is one of those spots that are small now, but will blow up once people find out how great the wines are at such a great price.

Google
My wife and I had a phenomenal tasting with Fernando! We learned a lot and tasted some amazing wine! He gave some wonderful recommendations for where we should visit after our tasting too.

Steve Hastert

Google
We had a wonderful afternoon tasting wine with Enrique. We have a preference for Spanish wines so this is right up our alley. Our daughter is studying viticulture at Cal Poly and he was very kind with advice. But most importantly the wines were excellent! Our favorites were the rose and garnacha.

Google
I recently had the pleasure of discovering Diablo Paso Wines, and let me tell you, it's a story as captivating as the wines themselves. Be sure to ask for Deb when you visit the tasting room. She’s incredibly friendly and can provide expert guidance on the wine selection. If you're a wine enthusiast looking for something truly special, Diablo Paso is a must-try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Google
Diablo Paso is located in downtown Paso Robles. Great location and wonderful Spanish varietal wines. Deborah was extremely friendly and made us feel like family. We can't wait for our next Paso trip so we can visit again!

Gabriela Cadena

Google
Fantastic tasting experience. Loved learning about the wines. Bought a dessert wine. Can't wait to return.

Google
We enjoyed the wine tasting experience at Diablo Paso. Fernando, our pourer, knew what he was talking about the wine and made our experience enjoyable. The wines are made Spanish oak and had great flavor.

Google
Wonderful little tasting room specializing in delicious Spanish varietals. While not being a huge red wine enthusiast, I really loved their reds: the garnacha, tempranillo, and the excellent garnacha/graciano/tempranillo blend called El Macho (such a cute name!). I even liked the roses, which I also don't normally drink. The place is run by a husband-wife team; we were served by the lady and had a great time learning about the wines as we enjoyed our tastings.

Yelp
Had some time to kill pre-dinner reservation so we popped on into Diablo Paso. We didn't have a reservation here, but were offered our choice of seating at the bar or a table. Unlike most tasting rooms in Paso, including many of the downtown ones, they are open nice and late - 8pm most nights and 9pm on Friday and Saturday. They primarily serve reds (with a rosé available for tasting while we were in, and a white available by the bottle only) and specialize in Spanish varietals. I really liked the educational sheets they had about the Paso Robles AVA, and the map of the different districts. Wines weren't our absolute favorite, but we did end up getting a bottle of one of their garnacha's to bring home! Hope to come back and try their Albariño sometime and maybe do a glass/bottle over a tasting.

Yelp
The fit us in as walk inside during a very busy wine festival weekend and allowed our pup in during the summer. The woman pouring was very friendly and they had lots of options. It was quiet until the festival goers aarrived then got loud but luckily we were ready to bounce and the seemed to pour responsibly.

Yelp
Very nice, simple and nice wines. Spanish wines are a different genre but very good. Different but worth the try. Give it a try, won't disappoint

Yelp
Server was amazing! Wine was even better! Definitely recommend the rosé, it is award winning. All the wines were delicious!

Yelp
Had a great time! Debra was a fantastic host, knew every last detail about the wines, and had great stories to share. If you're in Paso, give this one a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We have been to Diablo Paso a couple of times and we will definitely visit it again when we are in Paso. A family owned winery with the most hospitable and passionate owner. If you like red wines, this is definitely a must visit in Paso. The owner, Enrique, was kind enough to tell us his story and explain how his personalized involvement in the process ensures the best grapes are harvested for the wines. They offer $20 wine tasting for 6 types of wine. This is waived with a purchase of a wine bottle. From the wine tasting list, we really liked the Tempranillo and El Nico Blend. Their dessert wine is surprisingly delicious as well. It's not overpoweringly sweet. Some of the wines are named after the owner's kids and his wife. If you are looking for a great winery in the heart of downtown Paso Robles you cannot go wrong with Diablo Paso! Definitely worth a visit !

Yelp
Stephanie was super nice and knowledgable. You are going places, Stephanie! Deborah was great as well, full of stories and super nice. The wines made from Spanish varietals are very good, especially the Tempranillo. The Reserve wines (French & Spanish varietals) are phenomenal' The dessert wines are sooooo good as well. Gracias Enrique Torres (wine maker), can't wait to meet you.

Yelp
Came here to do some wine tasting while we waited for the sushi place to open across the street. Debra was great; knows the wine and made great recommendations of what to do in Paso. Wines were delicious. We took home three bottles.

Yelp
Nice little place, simple tasty wines with the old world flair. I'm more of a "red" drinker so I cannot really comment about their white. It was ok for me but again white sweeter type of wine isn't my thing. We moved on to taste the rest of the lineup. The second one on the list was such an easy drink. I visualized an everyday dinner drink with my family. As we moved on, Fernando was explaining the different varietals of blends in the wine. Each tasting became more dry as we moved through the tasting list (which was what I was looking for - thanks). The whole experience was really enjoyable and Fernando was a true host and entertained our small group. I left there impressed by the wines they offered and will definitely recommend them to friends passing through town.

Yelp
Why not venture off the everyday wine varietals that are prolific here in Cali. Amazing Spanish varietals and cigars to discover. You will not find a more amazing stop. We had the pleasure to chat with Enrique and truly realized what a treasure we walked into. Thank you Gabriel at #daouwinery for the great recommendation.

Yelp
Great Spanish varietal wines in downtown Paso Robles. Owner was great to talk to and explained his wines and process. A totality enjoyable afternoon.

Yelp
We had so much fun! The wines were incredible and we got great recommendations on the way. We were well taken care of by Deb who went above and beyond. If you like Spanish varietals, you'll LOVE Diablo Paso! The wines are so reasonably priced and your tasting fee is waved with purchase of just one bottle. We got The Nico which was fantastic and easy to drink. We even got to meet Stephanie, the winemaker's wife, who was so sweet! You really get the family owned/small vineyard/home-y vibe when you stop by. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
BEST wine tasting experience!! My husband and I were so fortunate to have Deb be our fantastic sommelier. She was extremely intelligent on all of Diablo Paso wines (history, ingredients, techniques, and grapes). We loved her and loved the wines we tasted. Can't wait to go Back and would recommend a walk in (ask for Deb!!) Thanks Deb!! Best Spanish wines ever Nick and Maddie

Yelp
My favorite Spanish varietal winery ever. Love all of their wines. We have been members for a few years and they have great wines for all occasions that pair well with all types of food. Enrique, Nora and all of the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We always have a great time when we visit.

Yelp
Diablo Paso is located in downtown Paso. The tasting room is dog friendly. My husband, our little girl dog and I came here because the host at EOS winery gave us a voucher for a free wine tasting for 2 to check out this place. According to Fernando, the nephew of the owner of this winery, people here tend to be friendly and recommend wineries to others in Paso Robles and not worry about competition. Anyways, wine tasting normally cost $15 per person but is waived with a 2 bottle purchase. Anyways, for the wine tasting, it comes with 6 wines. But for someone like myself, whom prefers sweet wines, mine only comes with 4. In the end, we ended up purchasing a bottle of Albarino ($20) and Tempranillo ($36), dessert wines for me. We appreciated Fernando's direct honestly about the different wines and wineries in Paso Robles. He told us the story of how his uncle started in the wine business, although there is a newspaper clipping of the story framed on the wall. He provided additional details that wasn't in the clipping that made it very interesting and can see how clever he really was to start this business. The tasting room itself is on the small side with some bar seating. It had a nice quiet vibe. Please note that the unisex restroom down the hall was clean upon this visit and stocked with the adequately necessities. Overall, had a great experience and would come back again. Please note that street parking is available.

Yelp
Stopped by Diablo Paso for a tasting on a Sunday afternoon with my husband and our two dogs. Christina was working and she was awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable about the wines - and she was very sweet to our dogs. The winery specializes in Spanish style wines. $20 per person tasting fee - waived with a bottle purchase. We tasted 6 wines, and had a small sample of their dessert wine which was surprisingly delicious (surprising because we usually think dessert wines are too sweet). There are fun stories regarding some of the wine names, and everything was great. We particularly liked the Granacha, and Sin Verguenza. We signed up for the club, it's really reasonable and you can easily pick/exchange whatever you'd like in your shipment. If you're in Paso Robles this is a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious wine.

Yelp
We stopped in Diablo Paso to try some Spanish varietals. What we experienced was so much more than a wine tasting! Deb was absolutely fantastic! She greeted us right away, was very knowledgeable about the wines she poured, and was very engaging. She gave us some recommendations that were right on point to our pallets. The ambience in the tasting room was very relaxed and inviting. Each of the wines we tried were great! We would highly recommend a visit. If you're lucky, Deb will be there!

Kevin D.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience when visiting, beautiful expression of Spanish varietals grown in Paso Robles. Fun and lively tasting room experience in Downtown, great for walk ins.

Yelp
My wife our doggie Bandit and I truly enjoyed every minute we spent here. Deb is awesome and amazing!!! Very knowledgeable and proud of the delicious wine she pours. She made the three of us feel welcome the minute we walked in. Great to chat with her about Paso life and events. We happened to be staying at Enrique's air b and b down the street which is positioning perfectly to downy town. Definitely re booking and re visiting with Deb.

Yelp
Excellent. The Joven de Paso is a fave. These brightly acidic old-world style wines are just easy to drink, refreshing and a nice change from the muscular fruit bombs that California is known for. I'm a fan.
google avatar

Yelp
Our first tasting in Paso! We enjoyed the outdoor seating and fast service. For $15 (waved with a bottle purchased) we sampled 6 (!!!) + 1 topup. What a steal! We really liked the Tempranillo a d could not resit not buying a bottle, we also snatched their sweet wine. Giving 4 stars for the simple fact that the pours were inconsistent across the different tables.
google avatar

Justin R.

Yelp
Went here for some of the Spanish wine verities. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to talk with. Our server was very nice. She even recommended other wineries while we were there enjoying our Paso trip. The wines were good, I actually preferred their non Spanish blend the best, it's under a new label they're creating. I think it's a great place to wine taste in Downtown Paso.

Connie F.

Yelp
This was recommended to us by another local winery. The wines are all Spanish, the decor is clean the service was on point. We had little experience with the Spanish wines and felt we learned a great deal. My only slightly negative comment is I wish they had a complementary (to the wine, not cost) food tasting. Otherwise a fantastic experience! Love this place!!
google avatar

Trevor M.

Yelp
Amazing! The El Nico is probably my new absolute favorite wine! Exclamation mark! The owner is a wonderful friendly guy and really loves what he does. They don't take themselves so seriously or try to be pretentious, they just focus on making amazing tasting wine! 5 stars is not enough. We always wait to buy wine until we find that one where we look at eachother and say "yes, hell yes!" And that kept happening here over and over! Cheers!

Yelp
Tried this place last week for the first time and we enjoyed it. The hostess was very knowledgeable and made our experience pleasant. The wine choices they have are very tasty. If in Paso I recommend coming here.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing wines. If you are anywhere in downtown paso, this is a definite stop. Wine are RICHHHHH. More character than most can comprehend. Hands down what you wanT to find at a wine tasting. Just better. Reminds you that better wines actually do exist.
google avatar

Hershel C.

Yelp
Fun wines and great staff. Don't forget to try the dessert wines. Nice break from all of the Rhône varietals.

Yelp
This Spanish themed winery in the heart of downtown Paso Robles is a must visit. The owner Enrique is super hospitable and makes sure all his customers have a good experience with dedicated attention provided to each guest. He is happy to provide details on the wines, the wine making process and offers samples on wines that interest you even if it's not in the tasting list. This is one of the more reasonable tastings with $20 for 6 tastings that is waived with a purchase of a bottle. The wines lean towards more full bodied flavorful spicier tastes. Don't miss the temperanillos - their flagship wine. Their Gloria wine was also spectacular - the distinct taste and smell of honey is very unique. The nico and Malbec Maximiliano are really social as well - both named after the owners sons. Love this family owned winery - for their story and the wines. Try this winery if you are looking for a break from the larger wineries and want an unique experience.

Yelp
Diablo Paso was a highly recommended tasting room to us from our hotel receptionist so we had to check it out! I love how all of their drinks are unique and one of a kind. The sommelier who helped us out was incredible and gave great insight into everything around Paso regarding restaurants and other wineries that we had planned to visit. They even have a wine that reminds me of sugar apple!!!
google avatar

Summer E.

Yelp
What a fabulous find! We were just finishing our evening when we walked past Diablo Paso. By luck, the wine maker was there. He was also enjoying a glass. We stayed and talked for a while. Patio was small but warm and the server was knowledgeable and welcoming. We returned the following evening. We enjoyed Enrique's story and the wines he produced so much, we became members! Thank you and we will see you in the spring!
google avatar

April N.

Yelp
Setvice was great and wine was lovey. Bar area is available and two bar tables a couch to sit and enjoy some wine. Would come back next visit.
google avatar

Lucero S.

Yelp
The best wine tasting. Beautiful experience! Great service. The wine itself is some of best wine I've had.
google avatar

Caleb Z.

Yelp
Wines were great, my wife and I love Spanish wines and these were some of the best we've had! The tasting isn't cheap but included 9 wines even tho only 6 were listed and they were all delicious, and the bottles aren't super expensive and waive the fee. The woman who did the tasting was really nice and knowledgeable too, all around great experience.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a fabulous tasting and time at Diablo winery. The wines were excellent and Deb, our host, was terrific.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
The wines are amazing and affordably priced for the exceptional quality. The owner is a wonderful, generous person and his staff is amazing. Debra served us today, and she was super fun and knowledgeable. If you don't go, you're missing out.
google avatar

Alan H.

Yelp
Amazing wines, all Spanish style. Deborah was an amazing host and really took her time to walk us through the tasting. The Tempranillo reserve was another world and the Nico may be our new sit down and relax bottle!
google avatar

Shane C.

Yelp
Stumbled by this hidden gem on accident, hands down the best wine tasting experience in all of Pasó Robles. Stephanie, our host, was literally the best. We learned so much about the different varietals that diablo paso has to offer. She also was very generous with her time and knowledge of the wine industry. We didn't think we would be purchasing any wines, and we ended up getting 2! Absolutely will come back, and will be ordering more. Can't miss this for the price and quality!
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
Best tasting of the weekend! Steph was fun and knowledgeable. Also best wine out of the three wine tastings we did. Highly recommend.

David B.

Yelp
Debbie was an advocate angel! She made our night. Beautiful light. I wish we could have met up with her later to show our appreciation. Thanks for being such an excellent person!
google avatar

Manders L.

Yelp
Last by-chance tasting of our trip and boy, did it turn out to be the best! Enrique (owner & winemaker) was literally a pure joy to chat with throughout our tasting journey. His creativity and unabashed love for unique varietals orchestrate brilliant combinations that left us floored. Putting my money behind my review, we became members, ordered a case to take home for ourselves, and another case for my dad who wanted us to bring only the finest wines back with us to help stock up his own cellar after the holidays. This is a must-stop.
google avatar

Sally W.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised with our wine tasting at Diablo Paso in Paso Robles. Make sure you try to meet Enrique the assistant winemaker. We ended up purchasing the El Macho 2017 and the Tempranillo 2017.
google avatar

doug f.

Yelp
Gracious owner and winemaker pours Spanish varietals with a unique Paso trademark. Loved all of it, but the Albariño was unforgettable.
google avatar

Linda C.

Yelp
Love Paso Diablo! By far the best Spanish varietals in the area!! This family owned business is off the square and very convenient to drop in for a bottle or two to take home for dinner. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

H S.

Yelp
Great lil spot to taste some wines. Deb was super cool and gave us the 411 on what wineries and places to visit. She even gave us a map and we wrote notes on it.
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
What a Wonderful experience with Deb! So knowledgeable and friendly.... The wine is absolutely delicious! Deb and her warm hospitality and bright smile really draws you in. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
google avatar

Steve C.

Yelp
The wine here is amazing, some of the best you will taste in Paso. Different from your typical wines that you will find in town as they serve Spanish varietals. You cannot go wrong whether you come in for a tasting or a glass. My personal favorite is the Guanabana Albariño. Stephanie, was wonderful on knowledgeable on the wines that are served. Definitely recommended stopping by if you are in town.

Vee W.

Yelp
If you're looking for an arrogant, condescending "somm" look no further. My girlfriend and I wanted to get away from the city and just relax in Paso Robles and enjoy a date night out wine tasting. We go in and ask about the wine tasting, and the "somm" made a sarcastic comment about us coming to Paso Robles on a weekday for wine tasting? We ignored it and throughout the whole experience, he kept on making sarcastic comments towards us and overall made us feel unwelcome. We did enjoy the wine so we ended up buying two bottles, to which he made another comment about "finally being able to get out of here." Overall we enjoyed the wine but damn, they really need to improve on their customer service. For the owners of the place, this occurred on 6/27 in the evening. So please talk with your employee about toning down his snobbery.
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
My absolute favorite tasting room in downtown PR, very charming and nice ambiance. Thry specialize in Spanish varietals, the El Macho red and the Albariño were unique and delicious. Definitely try the Albariño dessert wine-really crisp, refreshing and not cloyingly sweet like some dessert wines can be. We bought a few bottles of this and have already drank them all 1 week later. Owner is very friendly and down to earth and has an adorable dog(sadly wasn't there) Dog and baby friendly too! Will definitely come back next time I come to Paso.
