The lively ambiance wraps you in, and the inviting atmosphere is perfect for a fun time in a group. We tried many menu items. We started with some fun and satisfying appetizers. The perfectly cooked ribs were so tender and delicious, as was the pulled pork burger. The portions are generous to the point that finishing everything can be quite a challenge, but it's worth every bite. We also enjoyed some great drinks, especially the smoked Old Fashioned, which was wonderful. Almost everything on the menu can come packed with meat, so this spot is certainly geared for carnivores! The friendly service made our visit even more enjoyable, with the staff (shoutout to our server Katie, #jobsecurityforkatie) being attentive and welcoming and even joining us for a shot of tequila. If you’re looking for a fun place to indulge in mouthwatering BBQ, @diablosbbq is the place to be!

Music was a little loud but we were seated right under a speaker. It was quiet on a Sunday evening. Food was 100% legit (take that from a southern girl). Chicken was moist! Pork and ribs were great. My favourite was the brisket, PERFECTLY COOKED! The homemade BBQ sauce is more of a bold flavour rather than a sweet Carolina sauce (which is my preference) but thats okay! The only difference between this place and its southern counterparts is the assortment of BBQ sauces (up to 4 in most places!). I would suggest adding fresh corn for the summer menu. Prices were very reasonable. If you're from the south and looking for a taste of home in Montreal, you've found it!

Five Stars! A Wing Lover’s Dream with Outstanding Service We visited Diablo’s BBQ for their unlimited wings special at just $14.99, and it was absolutely worth it! The wings were delicious—tender, smoky, and served in a mouthwatering variety of sauces that kept us coming back for more. But what truly made our evening stand out was the exceptional service we received from Evelyn. She was professional, funny, and brought such a warm, positive energy to our table. Her attentiveness and great attitude elevated the entire experience and made us feel genuinely welcome. Any restaurant can serve good food, but it’s the dedication to customer experience and amazing staff like Evelyn that make a place unforgettable. Diablo’s BBQ nails both. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Evelyn!

Phil mixed us up a yummy Hurricane and Long Island iced tea. He challenged us to pick our favorite meat from the small Dixie. I am torn between the smoked fried chicken and brisket. The ribs were my man's #1. All in all, everything was delicious. You can taste the love in all the kitchen put out.

The place is spacious, clean and well maintained from the floor, dining tables and so as the washroom. They have a very accommodating service crew who does their work well and serve us a very delicious meal with a good portion. Me and my friends are very satisfied that they are planning to go back anytime soon.

We went there last week, my boyfriend and I, as I had spotted the place while looking for a good place to eat (that we hadn't tried yet). The inside was empty since it was a Wednesday evening, but lots of people sat in the terrace. We got combos 1 and 3, those are combos with 2 options of meat+2 sides. Those are great since you get to try 2 options out of their menu. My boyfriend got the #1, 1/4 chicken+ ribs, with fries X2, and I got the #3, 1/4 chicken + brisket, with fries and veggies of the day. The food was DELICIOUS 🤤 Perfectly cooked and seasoned, with additional dip on the side for the meat or fries. The service was slow and it took quite some time to get the bill, but they seemed to be low on staff (week day) and I kept hearing about plates being ready so it might just be the timing. Anyhow, we'll definitely go back and try their all-you-can-eat chicken wing on a Tuesday.

My roommates and I came here to celebrate a birthday, and we were immediately struck by the warm, convivial atmosphere, it really sets the tone for a great night. The portions are incredibly generous (I couldn’t even finish my plate!). The meat was absolutely exquisite, and I highly recommend trying the sandwiches, they’re next-level. I also loved that you can choose two sides, it’s perfect for someone like me who wants to taste a bit of everything. The only downside was the slow service toward the end; we waited about 30 minutes just to get the bill. I understand it was a busy night, but we were on a tight schedule with an event right after. Other than that, I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Diablo's Barbecue Smokehouse is a must-try! The brisket was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth. The beans, macaroni and cheese, and chicken were also fantastic. The 80s atmosphere and hitlist music added a fun, nostalgic vibe. Plus, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
