The 20 Best Bakeries In Paris 2024

"Diamande breaks from the mold of most Algerian pâtisseries—a technicolor palette of colors and bold flavor pairings that give classic forms a makeover. Knidelettes are subtly infused with pear and ginger, while dzirettes take on the intense fruitiness of blackcurrant and a touch of lime. The vermillion Pimento is a must for Hot Ones fans, spiking an almond and hazelnut base with a pleasant, peppery slow burn, all in a vermillion, chile-shaped package. The classics are pitch-perfect too, like the honey-drenched samsa. It’s hard to go wrong, but if you can’t decide, the friendly staff will point you in the direction of their favorites. Enjoy them at one of a handful of tiny tables by the counter, or get them packed in a box to go (no surcharge here)." - sara lieberman, emily monaco

Absolutely wonderful, Middle eastern desserts. I’m always worried they will be hard, and with not enough or too much honey/sugar syrup. But this place , how ever they do it , it’s just perfect . The flavours are real, with an amazing variety and shapes. It’s so worth it .

More than 50 different sweets with prices ranging between 1,8-2,5€. Very tasty, fresh, not extremely sweet. And the two guys inside were so, so kind and pleasantly to talk to. The best oriental sweets we tried in Paris so far.

I love these pastries! They’re the perfect two-bite size where you can sample a few in one or two sittings ;) I especially enjoyed the date one (in the photo, it’s sort of shaped like a diamond). Not really space to sit, so I recommend taking a box back to your hotel with you and enjoying your little pastries there. I know this because it’s exactly what I did.

Wow. The service was so helpful and friendly and we ended up buying 6 pieces - each a beautiful, different, tiny treat of about two bites. They are all delicious and handmade right in the back of the shop. Gorgeous.

A great patisserie for vegans! Everything clearly labeled and the little pieces I took were delicious 🤤

Google
A great little pastry shop with a huge selection of different pastries, the flavors vary and the unique style sets it out from the rest. Good to try a selection, I was looking for chocolate but found more of a sweeter fruit flavored treat, it still didn't disappoint. The treats seem to be sweetened with dates it seemed like, I had a language barrier at the time so couldn't speak in French. But will definitely be going back again to try some more. Friendly service

The best Almond sweet I ever had; was better than Laduree too. Many vegan options.

Those pastries are litteraly addictive. The shop has a wide variety of pastries to chose from. Up until now none of them has ever disappointed. Must try.

Yelp
AMAZING NEW DESSERT SHOP ALERT!!! AMAZING NEW DESSERT SHOP ALERT!!! This tiny little tea salon/sweet shop near the Bastille is a glimmering new diamond in the crown of Parisian pastries. The owner, a former technician at Bouygues, quit his job several years back to pursue his passion for Algerian pastries by heading down to his motherland to learn with the best. The result? A cross between Pierre Hermé and les Bagues de Kenza, aka gorgeous traditional pastries made with original (yet insanely successful) flavor combinations, such as rosemary and olive oil, spicy pepper and pistachio, jasmine and nutmeg. Each delicate pastry is the original brainchild of the pastry chef, who is also the friendly man behind the counter, so you can ask him as many questions as you like about the tasty gems before ordering to stay or to go. Unlike most "luxury" pastries, these are extremely reasonably priced (1€-2€ per piece), so you can really let your taste buds go wild without breaking your budget. In addition to the sweets there are also some savory pies that I'm dying to try the next time I visit. Will Diamande's experimental Algerian pastries replace macarons as the most coveted sweet treats in town? I'm voting: OUI!!

Yelp
Bonkers. Beautiful, elegant, imaginative, delicious, run by two sweeties themselves. It's an astoundingly lovely place. Almost too beautiful to eat.
