Exceptional food and service. So much creativity around the menu infusing ingredients like sea urchin, seaweed and buckwheat which you don’t typically find in the alps! Alan was incredible and very professional in explaining each course to us. The team also offered a free shuttle back to our hotel without us even asking. Truly world class and highly recommend. Easily the best restaurant that Val Thorens has to offer!

The location is unbeatable. The terrace gives an amazing view on the village and the mountains. We had hesitated between this restaurant and a Michelin 1-star, and finally chose here based on the Google review. Given the price tag, I think the presentation is at the right level however the taste needs to be improved. Ordered a 6-course menu, including the chef’s signature dish of truffled egg. The taste of truffle was subdued and blended well with the egg but it did not add another layer to the palette. Lamb was well cooked but the sauce was unfortunately too salty. Crab in chartreuse sauce was an invention but not a taste easy to accept. The only dish that impressed me was the abalone (ormeau) and the home-made bread was very very good. Still an overall good experience but it was below my expectation

As you can see the chef is very creative and is able to translate his imagination on the plate. It tastes as good as it looks. Staff are kind , hospitable and friendly. Really enjoyed our experience here! A must place to visit and experience.

Exquisite slow food. We had a delightful dinner at Diamant Noir. Plates were pleasing to both eye and palate. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Lovely ambience. Try it when you’re in Val Thorens.

we did the 5 course plant based tasting menu, they were very accomodating for my dietary requirements. Service was also very good, with great explanations of each course. Would reccomend!

Out of this world. Splendid, outstanding. The best restaurant in Val Thorens, one of the best dinners I have ever had. Lovely interiour, mindblowing food & very nice, helpfull and professional stuff. I hope we’ll be back soon!
