This place is disgusting! I typically go to the Decatur Street location which is excellent, but as they were closed last Tuesday I went to this location. I requested “very light oil” in my food. It came literally floating in a sea of oil! It had a strong bitter taste! See the photos for the oil that leaked out of the food and into the paper bag. I had two bites and had to run to the bathroom with explosive diarrhea!!!! BEWARE!! GO TO THE DECATUR STREET LOCATION!!! THEY CAN COOK!

We went with a large group of friends and the group dining room was empty when we arrived to we were able to be seated quickly, many people came through to pick up take out while we were eating so this location seems to be a popular spot for getting food to go. We ordered 5 main dishes, a soup, and 4 sides. The steamed veggie bao was light and fluffy with good amount of filling, lotus root salad was well made but very bland and oily- I added some hot pepper and soy and it brightened right up. The fried sides were very well made. Portion sizes are large and all the main dishes came with a side of perfectly cooked white rice. There are a few vegetarian options but not as many as expected from the online menu. The wait staff didn’t refill our water and getting the check took a while so you may have to make more demanding requests than we did. I’d get the only veggie main dish they had (broccoli) again because the price was reasonable and it was less oily than all my friends meat dishes but I wouldn’t dine in

The best xiao long bao I’ve ever had in my life. This meal made the flight to New Orleans worth it. Zach was amazing! I’m only sad we will only be in town 4 days and even if we go every day it would not be enough.

Google
Can't go wrong with possibly the high rated Chinese food in the French Quarter. Quick service (I went on Friday afternoon) and place was half full. Lady making dumplings right in front of me.

Google
The food here is absolutely delicious, but please be careful if anyone in your group has a shellfish allergy! Our waiter didn't know that one of our dishes contained shrimp despite us asking specifically about it and we had a very close call. Other than that this place was great, so just keep that in mind!

Google
I love that place! The spicy xiao bao, wonton spicy sauce, beef kung pao style and fried rice was so delicious!!! And the waiter was so kind gentle! Very recommend that chinese restaurant!

Google
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place was so horrible that I felt obligated. Hands down, the worst “Chinese Food” we have eaten anywhere … ever! The sign reads “Authentic Chinese Food” … there was nothing authentic about the food here. We ordered multiple dishes and each one was 0/10. Salt&Pepper Squid: looked nothing like the picture. Resembled battered, frozen, thin-sliced calamari rings that you can buy in a higher-end grocery store. Shu Mai: looked nothing like the picture, little flavor, but the only thing that was barely edible. Vegetable spring rolls: overcooked / cooked in old oil. Served with a disgusting, fluorescent orange sauce that came straight from a jar. Stir-fry noodles with chicken : chicken was overcooked/rubbery, lacked any flavor. It was if the chicken was pre-boiled and then thrown in a sauce for the last minute. Noodles were gummy and vegetables were bottom grade. Sauce tasted like it was also straight out of a jar. Xiao long bao: nothing like the picture. 95% certain that they were previously frozen as the dough deteriorated when touched and they fell apart trying to pick them up, leaking out the key soup that they are known for. The waiter’s response to us was a condescending reply that we need to be more delicate with our chop-sticks … he nervously disappeared after I told him that I lived in Hong Kong, Taipei, and China for nearly 6 years and I know how to use chop-sticks. The second attempt was delivered by the chef who was unapologetic, but did state that she cooked them for less time … unfortunately, they fell apart just like the first attempt. Side order of enoki: usually ordered for their Hot Pot, I asked them if they could just saute the mushrooms and toss in some sesame oil. I’m not sure how they were cooked, seems like they were briefly put in a microwave and then covered in the same disgusting orange sauce that was served with the egg rolls. No one followed up after the food was served, and again did not follow-up after the second xiao long bao. We just asked for our check, and wanted to leave as fast as possible. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Google
完全报吃! I normally don’t comment any restaurant, and this is my first time. I stayed in New Orleans for 3days and want eat some except New Orleans cuisine. This is the best Chinese restaurant near my hotel. It has good comments on google map and so many people recommended this on Rednote. Me and my gf ordered Pan Fried Tiny Bao and Seafood Dried Hot Pot. Tiny Bao is only 4 with 13 bucks, it is not worth totally, also they didn’t told us the amount. The seafood dried hot pot is the worst. We think it should be fresh bc NOLA is closed to the sea like fresh shrimp. But the seafood they give us is the worst, tasted rancid like the seafood was frozen for a century, we also ordered the ramen, even didnt have any spicy flavor. This is worst Chinese restaurant we ever tasted, will not visit and not recommend them. By the way, their table are greasy and sticky, also, the waiter didn’t care about us and even didn’t offer the water.

Yelp
Obsessed. Veggie hot pot. Spicy. She's real spicy, but without heat it's too plain for me. I love to add additional lotus, bok choi and ramen. It'sa whole ordeal to cook at table, but so delicious. And so much food, definitely could share with friend or two. I recommend getting some apps too. My fave is the veggie bao- two heavenly soft and fluffy bao filled with minced veggies. It's tucked in tiny spot in French Quarter along one of the cutest little pedestrian ways. If the weather permits, it is fun to sit outside and people watch. The servers are quick and kind. This is one of my fave spots in the 1/4. They do lunch specials too!

Yelp
Dian Xin remains a solid choice for great food, especially before a night out on Bourbon Street. The dishes came out fast, tasted DELICIOUS, and the portions were generous--definitely easy to share while still leaving full and satisfied. Quaint, homey, and quiet enough to hear the people you're dining with. That said, I wish the service matched the quality of the food. Interactions were very lukewarm throughout the experience. And every time I thanked the staff for something, I was met with silence, which made the whole experience feel a little cold. My partner was dining there for the first time (I am not local to New Orleans anymore and we were visiting on Valentine's Day), and I was hoping for a warmer experience. I don't remember this being an issue in the past, so maybe it was just an off night. Still, the food was as lovely as ever, and that alone is why I might be willing to return. The Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings, sauteed broccoli, and salt and pepper squid were STARS. Just hoping for a little more hospitality in the future.

Yelp
This review is for the 2 consecutive nights we had dinner at Dian Xin. Location: conveniently located near our hotel so walking for our appetites was good Food: everything was delicious and not too greasy. The first night we finished all our food except for my mom's soup because she ate all the other food. Tonight we had leftovers bc we ordered too much. Price: is very reasonable for the amount of food served. Staff: friendly and attentive Venue: it has simple decor, the restaurant itself is clean. One con, when my mom and sis went to the restroom the night of 11/20/24, they said the restroom they went to was dirty. 11/21/24, they tried the other restroom and they said it was much cleaner. All in all, I recommend this place. Enjoy.

Yelp
FANTASTIC dumplings! Handmade right on the spot! Don't miss any of the XLB (soup dumplings) but everything is excellent! On Conti right at the corner with pirates alley

Thomas M.

Yelp
Amazing food in an unexpected location. Delicious soup dumplings and more. We've added it to our regular rotation.

Yelp
If you're in town, COME HERE. The service and ambiance may not be the best, but you'll be dreaming of the food for weeks to come. - Wonton with Spicy Sauce: the STAR of the menu. I wish I knew what was inside this sauce because it was the perfect amount of spice, sweetness, and umami. I tried to recreate it at home, and couldn't quite capture the deliciousness that this was. - Shrimp Har Gow: standard dim sum dish, always a must have in my opinion. -Xiao Long Bao Dumplings: another standard dim sum dish; held up to expectations. The wrappers didn't tear as easily as other XLB I've had across restaurants. Don't forget to top a few of them with chili oil! - Steamed Veggie Bao: a skippable dish - it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about either - Basil Popcorn Chicken: perfectly crispy, super hot, and well seasoned. I ordered this at the recommendation of a coworker and was not let down. While I wish it came with a sauce (and I dipped it into the wonton sauce), it is still a strong dish on its own. Is this restaurant super inexpensive? No. Is it delicious? Absolutely. If I am ever back in NOLA, I will be coming back to Dian Xin.

Yelp
This place is quite small and popular so it can get quite crowded. However my family of four came on a Friday night and were seated within ten minutes. While the place seems really authentic, there are options that also appeal to the American palette. Our server seemed pretty distressed as it seemed he was the only one for the whole restaurant. We got the Crabmeat and crawfish Soup Dumplings which were delicious. I loved seeing the crawfish too like blending of culture. The garlic veggies were also delicious, my favorite part was the taro. The Veggie Baos were only ok and the Salt and Pepper Squid didn't blow me away either.
google avatar

Connor A.

Yelp
The cucumber salad was refreshing and very crispy. Crab rangoons were soft gooey on the inside with a crispy exterior. Egg rolls were below average in my opinion meat was dry and falling out of the egg roll. The shumai was lacking flavor, but good texture, and needs the sauce. The wonton soup was good nothing special about it, but if you want something soupy order this. The stir fry noodle was very good order with extra XO sauce and it has a very shrimpy taste and noodles are cooked perfectly. The soup dumplings were really good, great flavor and texture no complaints use chili oil if you like spice. Pork bao buns were amazing delicious filling and great bao. All around amazing. Koi pond when you walk in. It's a little tight, but it's a restaurant in New Orleans not easy to get bigger than that. Very good service as well.

Yelp
We definitely stumbled upon this little gem, we didn't get many pictures. But definitely a place worth exploring the Hot Pot! We started with shumai & pork bao 5/10 overall since I've had better at Chinatown SF. Maybe skip the appy and go for the entree because it is friggin' amazing... we ordered the spicy beef ribs hot pot, add ramen, quail eggs with side of rice- excellent flavor and very delicious 10/10. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was 10/10 beef very tender, taste and savory, the onions are crunchy/el dente to perfection especially eating it with the steam rice. Service was great, restaurant is a little small but we don't mind it! Overall experience is great. Definitely will come back for that Mongolian Beef(if I ever visit Nola soon)

Yelp
Awesome spot for locals and tourists alike in the Quarter. Small and cozy, food comes out hot and quick and it is DELICIOUS! Every single bite was fantastic. Our server was young but she was so great. Knew everything on the menu and made some great recommendations.
google avatar

Tiffany F.

Yelp
Apparently they only have the vegan menu at the other location, but they did offer to make some of the regular menu items with tofu instead of meat, which was nice. They were okay. Not a ton of flavor.

Cheryl B.

Yelp
I have to say that the good is good and I've been here numerals times. HOWEVER, the last 2 times, I had a hair in my food UGH! I gave them a second chance after the first time thinking it would be a one time thing When I told the server, he wasn't rude but acted like it was no big deal and didn't even take the plate away. I also don't think he mentioned it to the kitchen. In addition, I noticed that none of the kitchen staff wore hair nets. I wasn't even offered an apology or ti take the item off the bill. wont be going back, which is a shame because I did enjoy their food. If they can't make the simple change in having the kitchen staff wear hair nets other business is sure to be lost.

Yelp
Dian Xin is mandarin pronunciation for Hong Kong dim sum. This is the second store in New Orleans that serve dim sum. It is a chain store. The store space is not big. Only a few tables. We start with Xiao Long Bao. They make their own Bao. Taste is not bad. I would said is middle pack of the among Chinese restaurant. But for New Orleans is one of the best. The second dish is the pan fried dumplings. The skin is a bit thick. Meat in the dumpling has good mixture. Service is good because is not much of customers. Price is high. Since this review is base on price, taste and quality, they have 3.5 stars in my books.

Cheryl T.

Yelp
Christmas dinner. Came since we had read the good reviews. Long line outside the restaurant but we were seated immediately - party only of 2. We ordered the honey chicken and steamed dumplings. Good service and attentive waiter although they were busy! Portions decent size. Woman making the dumplings and baos right there so you could watch. Very loud inside - made worse by obnoxious other diners who might have had too much to drink . Not the best Chinese we have ever had but not bad.

Yelp
This place just gets better and better! My husbans and I love this place soo much! We came here this past weekend for our first wedding anniversary, and we loved every moment of it. Dumplings are to die for!!!! Just discovered the popcorn basil chicken and now I need this recipe! Staff is soo friendly with a charming atmosphere ! We really love this place, and true gem!

Charchey K.

Yelp
A big YES to the lunch special! I work in the FQ and always on the prowl for something other than an over-priced plate of fried tourist food. Portion size, price point and authentic flavors I'll be hitting this place up more often! PS- best Shanghai xiaolongbao you can get in the GNO area.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a second location for what was apparently a pretty popular entree into the New Orleans food scene. Chinese was not a big focus here until pretty recently. I didn't have time for hot pot, but was happy for some small plate kind of options for lunch. Their chilled noodles had a fantastic fresh texture; the spiciness they promised was not huge and they tasted more of black vinegar, but tableside chili oil enhanced the flavor. They had veggie dumplings, which had a pretty thrilling mix of noodles and minced vegetables, and likewise took very well to condiments. I seem to have eaten them without taking a picture, perhaps because they were so delicious. A pu-er tea (which is fermented tea leaves) was quite substantial and strongly flavored. This place adjoins an alleyway (where the sadly departed Green Goddess once sat, which no longer has any other restaurants) and is small but offers a splendid atmosphere. I am not a chopsticks person, but the mostly Chinese people eating here were, and I left happy that the food scene of New Orleans is always evolving.

Yelp
First come first serve. I was very excited to see dumplings in New Orleans. We had Xiao Long Bao & the crabmeat/crawfish dumplings along with Thai popcorn chicken. They also had hotpot which I was very surprised to see in this area. If I'm ever back in the area will definitely be back to eat here or recommend for asian eats. Restaurant was cute with limited seating. Our table kept wobbling, but other than that, no complaints.
google avatar

Nichelle B.

Yelp
I really liked the ambiance of Dian Xin but the service was lacking a bit and the food was inconsistent. I ordered the salt and pepper squid, which was delicious, however it came with no type of sauce or veggies, so it was kind of dry. I also ordered beef and broccoli and I was HIGHLY disappointed. It just didn't taste very good. I couldn't even tell that the meat was beef. Next time, I'll definitely try the soup dumplings.
google avatar

Marigny L.

Yelp
WOW! This place has some of the best dim sum I've ever had. I tried the Crab Rangoons, Dumplings, & General Tso Chicken. Keep in mind that this place is small, and if you go during a busy time or with a big party, you'll have to wait.
google avatar

Shwe N.

Yelp
never have i ever had crawfish xiao long baos! so so sooo flavorful it was quite the experience, especially with lots of other tourist attractions and shops all around! wish i could have some in california too hehe
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
We tried the shrimp fried rice, pork bao buns, general tso's chicken, hot & sour dumpling soup, pan-fried pork dumplings, and some awesome spring rolls! Everything was perfectly cooked and the service was great!
google avatar

Thuy N.

Yelp
Great food with tons of flavor and great hospitality. Cucumber and their crawfish bao is a must. Careful picking up the baos if bottom peels off you'll loose all the yummy soup in it. Popcorn chicken crispy and great flavors. Their spicy hot and sour soup is very spicy but addictive.
google avatar

Tootie M.

Yelp
Fabulous lunch. Everything is made fresh! We had a pot of jasmine tea and our dim sum. It made for a tasty economical lunch.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
One of the BEST soup dumplings I've ever had. I love this place MORE than din tai fung. Obsessed with the crawfish soup dumplings. So flavorful and juicy! I love the cucumber salad, very tangy and refreshing with a nice crisp crunch. It may look like someone cut the cucumbers with their teeth but it still tasted good. The only downside is their hours of operation may differ depending on the day. We came at 11 because that's when it said they would open but we didn't get to go in until 11:30.
google avatar

Yelp
Dian Xin looks to be a staple of dim sum / Chinese eats in New Orleans with their two locations. We ended up going to the #2 location (by mistake), so the menu and seating was not too extensive. That said, we still had a pretty good experience. In terms of dishes, we kinda went overboard and ordered a lot of dishes / variations of dumplings to see if this place would live up to our expectations. Ordered - Spicy Xiao Long Bao (4/5). A nice take on the classic XLBs - Crab Meat Xiao Long Bao (3.5/5). Not as good as the original but a fun and creative spin - Pan Fried Dumplings (4/5). Not too burnt and oily so a win in my books - Stir Fry Noodles Combination (4.5/5). This was quite tasty. A little oily but the noodles were on point with that wok-hei - Shumai (3/5). Pretty standard Cantonese dim sum item - Hargow (3/5). Pretty standard Cantonese dim sum item Overall this was a solid choice. Prices were really expensive though even with inflation but I guess we're in the French Quarter. When in Rome... cheers!
google avatar

Hannah E.

Yelp
Not a great representation of 'wontons in spicy sauce' for me. The filling was one-note, sort of like a pork roll. The sauce was very close to just being sriracha. And it was $12 and not even close to a snack sized portion. Nothing was BAD about it, but there was a lot 'nothing' about it. Also, this is a personal preference, but when you have a lot of spicy, umami food, and you serve it with... spicy, umami, salads, that's kind of not ideal. Tastebuds need refreshing!
google avatar

Tania J.

Yelp
Terrible service. Waitress failed to mention they were out of boba when I ordered the honeydew boba tea. She just gave it to me without any boba without saying anything. Also forgot our order and had to be reminded of it twice. They also brought my husband's food out well before mine and he finished eating decades before I got my food. Food was 7 out of 10. Ambience is quaint, small, not luxurious by any means tho.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place when I saw so many good reviews regarding their Spicy XLB. Definitely worth a try! ~Spicy XLB (5/5): Had a good kick and the soup part had lots of good and clean flavor ~Dian Xin wings (3/5): Needed more sauce. Nice and crispy though Looks like their hot pot is popular and yummy! If you're into hot pot, you should try it!
google avatar

Patrick L.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here today. Ordered the Kung Pao chicken lunch. Well cooked, properly priced and good service. Definitely a place I will eat at again.

Yelp
New Orleans has only one other Hot Pot place out in Metairie so I was super excited hear that Dian Xin was opening a new location that focuses on Hot Pot! It is also super exciting to see Dianxin expand and open a new location in the French Quarter that is super accessible to those who are living close to downtown. I first had some of their Veggie Baos and they were made really well. The texture of the Baos were soft on the outside and they were steamed at a perfect level. My friend tried the Xiao Long Bao and she also really enjoyed them. Afterwards, a friend an I split a Chicken Hotpot. We first had the dry hotpot with rice and afterwards we added broth, some veggies like lotus root and winter cabbage, noodles, and shrimp balls. We got the spicy broth and it was good, but I feel that Dianxin could make it even a bit more spicier to fully grasp the Sichuan pepper taste. The food here was pretty satisfying and I'm so happy to have an Hot Pot option now in NOLA!
google avatar

Courtney K.

Yelp
Love the original location! This location is still getting its bearings. My friend and I ordered the spicy soup dumplings ($12) and the stir fried noodles with chicken ($15). Two other tables were seated around lunchtime on a Thursday. Service was prompt and efficient. However, my friend and I were never given soup spoons at any point. This was particularly ironic, because as we finished eating, we observed an employee placing placards on each table that had instructions specifically on how to eat the soup dumplings - with a spoon. My friend and I were as careful as humanly possible with the dumplings, retrieving them ever so gently, but every single one of them burst before we could rush it over to our plates. Disappointing. What we could get into our mouths had great flavor, though. Soup dumplings are a favorite of mine, and these were delicious. The chicken dish was mild and had a good flavor, but the pieces of chicken were very small, and I had to pull 3 different pieces out of my mouth because there was bone/gristle in it. I would not order this dish again. Hoping the kinks get worked out because I love the restaurant and dumplings in any form.
google avatar

Paul W.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and tried the cucumber salad which was very tasty. Then tried the Kung pao chicken lunch special with fried rice and egg roll. It was good but not great. Good value at $11. Service was good in this tiny place. Ambience was ok. Bottled water was only a dollar. If u stick to the lunch specials you have a pretty good deal for the French Quarter.

Isabella D.

Yelp
Food, service, and price were amazing!!! I never eat at a restaurant two days in a row but I did here totally the best food I've had period!!!!
google avatar

Paul J.

Yelp
Why would anyone want to get Chinese food in New Orleans? If you go to Dian Xin, you can get the best of both worlds - chinese food with excellent seafood. We had a large party and gorged on the seafood hotpot with daily greens and Korean rice cake - deep, brothy goodness at the medium spicy level with lots of plump, briny seafood, szechuan shrimp - spicy and delicious, a plate of mixed vegetables of all shapes, sizes and colors, and several orders of dumplings, steamed and fried. Plenty of delicious food for everyone, and we left with bellies full and satisfied, grateful that the French Quarter allows us to meander about to walk off the calories. If you're in New Orleans, give Dian Xin a try - you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Patty H.

Yelp
We came into this restaurant right before dinner rush. By the time we left there were people having to wait for a table. The food came out quick. There are vegetarian options. The Bao was good and also filling according to my husband. I had the sautéed broccoli with tofu. It came with a side of rice. The service was friendly and servers checked up on us frequently. The place is small and tables are close to each other. There are a couple of outdoor tables.
google avatar

Michele D.

Yelp
Keep your receipts. I tipped 20% on a to go order which I felt was generous enough for someone to just hand me a small bag. I just got my credit card statement and see they gave themselves an extra $10 for a total of 60% tip. I've noticed this happen a few times at different businesses during carnival over the years. I'm guessing they think tourists will be drunk and won't notice. Meet sober person, who keeps receipts. Very uncool.
google avatar

Kelsey F.

Yelp
We came here while exploring New Orleans from Houston. The service is wonderful first of all. And the food is delicious! I ordered the Mongolian chicken and it was so yummy. If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend this one.
google avatar

Norma S.

Yelp
If you're sick and tired of the same menu, different restaurant in the French Quarter, try this for something wonderfully delicious. The restaurant is fairly small but we were able to pull together three small tables on their patio for our party of 8 for lunch. Considering how busy they were they did pretty well keeping our order coming as it was hot & ready from the kitchen - except one very late item which we took to go anyway. Two people ordered the hot and sour soup and said it should be renamed "hot & spicy" as it was not what they were used to and couldn't finish them; so ask about spice levels if you're worried.
google avatar

Nadine L.

Yelp
Loved the sichuan chicken. It was spicy, stew like. Decent chicken wings. Soup Dumplings were just okay. Very fast service.
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Shrimp Harlow is spot on!!! Bok choy is good, but the cucumber salad rocks! Thank you.
google avatar

Maki F.

Yelp
Just experienced the worst service and attitude ever! Stepped into the establishment and waited patiently for a seat. There was only one server so she was overwhelmed with taking care of the whole front of house. A couple of tables were open but needed clearing so my partner asked if we could take a seat while we waited. The server blew up at him and pretty much said he could do what he wanted but she wouldn't get to him anytime soon. I can understand her frustration but my goodness, I cannot abide being yelled at. I hope they find some extra help for the poor lady. I won't be eating here unless there's some more servers.

Taijanea P.

Yelp
If I can rate this place 0 starts I would ! I'm very disappointed in this place as soon as i walked in I wasn't greeted from the start i literally had to ask the Caucasian man with glasses can i order because he did not acknowledge me not once i watched as he greeted everyone that's wasn't of color even told them have a good night and completely did acknowledge me what's so ever and as i person that works in customer service this is unacceptable I don't recommend anyone to come here you will feel very unwelcomed and like you don't belong unacceptable!!!
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Dumplings were awesome! Fried rice ok. Sichuan chicken was good. Pea leaves were excellent. Small place. Waited 20-30 minutes to seat 3 of us.
google avatar

Keith J.

Yelp
Great Chinese in the French Quarter, spring rolls and dumplings were delicious. Perfect for enjoying on the balcony over Bourbon Street!
google avatar

Sean F.

Yelp
During our trip to New Orleans we tried the other location on Decatur since we were by the French Market, and enjoyed it so much that a few days later we decided to try this location, since it was closer to our hotel. Unfortunately we discovered that the original location was much better in regards to food quality and taste. While the dumplings and dishes we had at the other location were stellar, the dishes we tried at this location were lackluster and didn't pack much flavor. I'll stick to the Decatur one from now on.
google avatar

Alicia H.

Yelp
Service was great, good options. Ordered the shrimp appetizer cucumber salad and soup dumplings. Highly recommend. Didn't love the fried rice but would try other mains.

J M.

Yelp
Went here for lunch during a meeting and it was great. Very good value, very large size portions, and homemade XLB. You don't expect homemade, by hand, XLB in downtown Nola, at least I didn't. This was the only Asian restaurant I saw within a long distance and I'm glad we went. XLB was quite good, although perhaps too thin because they all ripped just taking them out of the basket, but the flavor was very good. All the other dishes were very large portions and very tasty. Highly recommend considering the location. No, it's not super authentic or super special, it's just quite good and a very good value considering where it is.

Yelp
oooookay! So if you've seen my review at the original Dian Xin, you'll know that the flavors there are delissssh! Did you think this location was any different?! We're glad to announce that the flavor levels stay delicious but with a smack of In Your Face! They kept some main dishes from the original location but added a Spicy Xiao Long Bao for some kick and they introduced their version of Hot Pot! This is IMPORTANT: unlike some other hot pots, they start with a dry pot with hooked proteins & aromatics. Once you're ready, then they pour the broth into it. This maximizes flavors & allows you to enjoy different aspects. Hope this helps! See you on Instagram: @phidingthefam
