I recently shopped at all 3 of the DIANI stores and was thoroughly impressed by the exquisite selection of shoes (which you cannot find anywhere else in Santa Barbara) and the impeccable service that I got that truly deserves to be mentioned. It was hands down the happiest, most helpful staff I’ve encountered in a long time! Each store was showcased in a way that was not only beautiful, but blended both quality high and low pieces for every budget. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured that my experience was a memorable one, providing excellent suggestions on how to revive some oldie but goodies from my closet and ensured my satisfaction with my new purchase of amazing shoes and a lovely scented candle from their home store. I have been shopping at the three DIANI Stores since they opened years ago. They carry beautiful clothing - everything from jeans to coats and evening wear. Their shoe store is akin to something you’d find in New York. Again, everything from sneakers to evening heels. The home store is a fantastic place to find gifts as well as special things for yourself. All three stores have a fabulous staff that are very helpful. This is not a set of stores to shop in if you’re looking for a bargain, this is a place to find quality and higher-end fashion.

I’ve never actually stepped foot in DIANI+ and all the wonders that I know hit your senses when the beautiful doors are opened but I can imagine the scent wraps you up and you float in to see the amazingly beautifully thoughtfully chosen pieces….everything you would ever need to make yourself and your home a reflection of their earthy, timeless, fabulous taste! Leanna reached out to me after I ordered a few things from the other side of the USA and she now dresses this farmer’s wife and makes me feel like a princess whether I’m in boots or heels!! Maybe one day I can meet the wonderful person who has taught me how to feel comfy in clothes and has helped me build a such a beautiful closet and a home I love to open the door and inhale!!! There is beauty in one stop shopping!!!!

Although Diani is in Santa Barbara, CA, and I am in Memphis, TN, the specific item I needed (yummy Louis Sherry chocolates) were in stock for me to order. Planning a special event required this item and Diani, along with Leanna and team ensures they were packed and shipped promptly and received as promised. So fun talking over the phone verses on line ordering … I am still old school! Friendly, professional small businesses are my favorite and I can’t wait one day to pop in the store when I get to CA! Go see this precious store and the team of customer service driven team members. I promise you will be glad you found them. Thanks again for easing my mind and making this event go more smoothly!

I took four steps into Diani today and found the sales staff to be incredibly rude. I was eyed up and down by the woman at the sales desk. I turned right back around and left. I can see why so many have left poor reviews. The shop was beautiful but I’ll never step foot in it again. Do better Diani!

Worst shopping experience I've ever had in Santa Barbara. The woman working there was so rude and had such a horrible attitude as if she hated her job or just prejudice to anyone who isn't white. Couldn't tell, but that was the first time I ever felt that uncomfortable. I was ready to drop money on multiple pairs of nice jeans, but I'll never go back there ever again.

We had an absolutely fabulous shopping experience with Mia today. This store is filled gorgeous, unique yet tasteful items. Mia was so personable and helpful. From coffee table books, to rugs and linens- we found great pieces to take home. I could live in this store!!

This is the store you must see if you are visiting Santa Barbara or live here. The store has the greatest selection of the best designers including dresses, jeans, bags, hats, sweaters, tops, bottoms, shoes and so much more. And they have a phenomenal sale area. Everything I have purchased over the last 10 years still continues to be some of my favorite pieces. Leanna, the manager is wonderful and Ariella is such a great salesperson with so much style. They do have a separate shoe store, equally as fabulous, and a home store too. All 3 are located across the street from the Arlington Theatre.

I went into the Diani clothing store yesterday, fully intending to buy a pair of shoes, but no one acknowledged my presence or asked if I needed help. The store was nearly empty, maybe two people. I am used to excellent service at most places I shop so this was surprising. Based on this experience I won't be going back.

I ordered a pair of Loeffler Randall heels from DIANI via their website; I live in New York and the heels appear to have sold out everywhere, so I was grateful to find them here. I was a little hesitant ordering from a boutique that I am unfamiliar with, but my experience with Diani was top notch. The heels shipped quickly, tracking via Fedex was immediately provided, and they arrived in the Loeffler Randall shoebox within a shipping box, taped securely. The box was even wrapped with patterned tissue paper and accompanied by a handwritten note; this kind of attention to detail speaks volumes about DIANI. I am very pleased with my first shopping experience at DIANI and look forward to visiting the shop in person!

I just love all of the Diani stores! Whether I'm looking for something classic or something unique and trendy, I always come away happy from a trip to Diani. And the owner herself regularly goes to Fashion Week in New York, so rest assured that nothing is out of date in her shops! And I could furnish my whole house from Diani home! Oh, and don't get me started on the shoes...

My mom has been a client at Diani's for years I mean before they even had their Living and Shoes locations. So this past February my aunt gifted her Oliver Peoples sunglasses from Diani Shoes for her birthday. We took a trip to the Bahamas to celebrate her birthday and my mom brought her new sunglasses along. She wore them the first day there and the next morning noticed that one nose pad was gone. We come back from the Bahamas which was one day after the "return policy"and goes to Diani to return the glasses. She couldn't physically return them on time because we were out of the country. They told her first that there was no returns on the sunglasses, then they changed the story and said it was a seven day return policy and she went on the 8th day. Impossible to make the return on time if your not even in the country. So they then decided to take the sunglasses and contact Oliver Peoples for a repair. Two months later after no one contacted my mom she went to the store to ask what had happened. They said that Oliver Peoples couldn't do anything. So my mom asked, "well when did they tell you this because it's been two months and no one ever called to inform me?" They got nervous and said about a week ago. Unbelievable how unprofessional this was handled. Blows my mind because of all the lying from day one that she went to return/exchange/repair the glasses. They proceeded to hand her back the broken glasses as if they ever even contacted Oliver Peoples. So disappointing, we have no words. My mom was willing to prove to them she was out of the country and now she has a pair of glasses that she can't even use. And lastly we own more Oliver Peoples glasses so we know that they are of good quality and they should not be falling apart after wearing them once. Warning to all to make sure you are aware of the return policy that I guess changes in a span of seconds in a conversation.

Went to SB recently on vacation, and stopped into Diani's. I was in there for a solid 15 minutes, and not once did the sales girl ever even acknowledge me. Ick. I wanted to try a few things on, but she was too involved in the two other women in there to even notice. The vibe is SNOBBY. Walked out, leaving everything behind, unnoticed. The girl at the Diani home store is just as snobby. I'll spend my money elsewhere thankyouverymuch.

DIANI - the hidden jewel in retail and savior of Christmas 2019! I had searched high and low for a pair of Golden Goose sneakers for one of my daughters. Not only was the price Uber-competitive, but the whole retail experience was remarkable. Each women more personal, more engaged and more committed to making the experience special for me a at a time where stress levels were high and time seemed short. Just step into one of their spaces, make eye contact, and watch the magic unfold. Best in Class!

I only order online, but I once snagged the most awesome olive coat ON SALE in my size ! Very unusual to be left in my size!!! I wore all last winter and into the cool Spring......... Love everything I have gotten from Diani and they the best by far customer service! C Beller

Diani Boutique impressed me on Insta. Love the outfits styled daily. Have a tendency towards "feeling" fabric prior to purchase and hesitated purchasing online. Found a MadeWorn tee on their feed which I wanted to pair with two IRO jackets. After contacting Elena - E Commerce Sales with inquiry, she gave quick response and assisted with sizing. The package came fast and wrapped lovely - felt special. When I found some boots I was on the fence about, she took the time to take photos of them on. They didn't work for my taste, yet again the effort was appreciated. Customer service is a component that has repeat business for me. Today received a pair of Pedro Garcia sandals which are perfect for maxi dresses and distressed jeans - my "go to" every day wear with semi precious jewelry and tees run around town look. Fashion and comfort. Love them. Excellent customer service. The buyer has a good eye for mixing trendy luxury brands and casual high quality comfort pieces. I received a gorgeous Rag & Bone blazer for Christmas from Diani. Unfortunately, it was huge - exchanged for a smaller size and it was still way too big. By the time I returned from out of town, the 7 day time period for exchanging or returning the item had passed, and I was left with a blazer that while stunning, I couldn't wear. It was on its way to charity. I'd received an email explaining that Diani's policy was its policy and there was nothing they could do. Enter Whitney Moser, the VP of e-commerce and marketing who stepped in and did what I have come to expect from the high end, client oriented places I frequent. She issued a store credit, sent me a return authorization and in the process, gained a loyal client who is delighted to recommend Diani to anyone who asks. While there are virtually limitless places to buy quality, unique clothing online and in person, there are nowhere near that number of establishments that truly understand what taking care of the customer means. Diani does. Thank you.

Nikki at DIANI's is the best and has become my personal dresser. She is knowledgeable of what I want before I know what I want. It's easy and uncomplicated. She sends me suggestions or I send in my wish list and it's being shipped to me in a day. I'm an hour away from Santa Barbara and i love how simple my cloth shopping has become thanks to Nikki!!!

Do not shop here! I returned a pair of jeans and they were returned back to me with stains that were not there when I shipped them back. When I contacted the store, they told me the jeans were final sale, but my receipt did not say final sale, and the store had given me a return authorization and told me to ship them back. Then they told me I could ship them back again for an online credit (again, at my expense). Eventually they agreed to give me a shipping label to ship them back again, but because most of their inventory is over $300 and the credit is for $118, and none of their sale items under $118 are in my size, I would have to spend more money than I already spent in order to use the credit and get my money back. Why would anyone want to shop at a store like this?

I love Diani!! Whenever I'm in Santa Barbara I make a point of stopping in to see what they've got. (And I never leave empty handed) I also love that when I need a DIani fix, I can just order from their website - free shipping! Big bonus in my book! My last experience there was really wonderful. Since giving birth to twins this past year, my body is totally different than it was. Plus, chasing around two babies means I need to be comfortable. I was looking for something casual yet stylish to wear. The sales staff was so helpful. They knew exactly what to bring me. I got a few outfits that have become my staples and I always feel put together (and dare I say, somewhat sexy) instead of the frumpy mess I was before.

I really wanted to like this shop. The pictures on Instagram are so pretty and inspiring. But, once I got onto the website and ordered, I have come to love this shop! They have brands that I've not seen elsewhere. Gorgeous and unique. Motivates you to completely redo your home. From the photos I've seen of the shop, I'm in danger should I ever get there. The displays look so compelling -- like you've got to touch each item as you look. In the meantime, I am happy with the online experience -- great customer service, the secure packaging on shipments, and the wide variety of products. Hmmm, I think I need to go online right now!

Lovely store with very knowledgeable and helpful sales staff! The owner Caroline really brings in a wonderful edit from a variety of designers. You can definitely get your entire season's wardrobe here and there are items available at a variety of price points. I always come here when I am in SB!

I adore Diani & Diani Shoes. Their buyers have a vibrant & diverse eye, brining some of the best items of the season back to Santa Barbara. In a city with limited designer boutique's, I have shopped for myself & clients more times than I can count. Their staff are ALL fun, helpful, creative & can put together great outfits! I highly recommend those both local and tourists to stop in this lovely boutique.

Good selection of mid range and higher end alike. The customer service is good and they often have things that truly can't be found elsewhere in SB. Like, literally. Yes, some of it is repetitive, but most of it is well-edited and unique to the local shopping scene. Never-ending rad supply of Marant and my go-to place for Velvet for Graham and Spencer. Their sales are good and the only bad thing I can say is that sometimes the shop is under-staffed and you can't get someone who can actually help you out or set you up with a room. Otherwise, a good shopping experience.

Diani has some cute stuff. Seems to be an okay mix for young & older. For the most part, the employees are friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, a lot of their clothing is very overpriced and I don't always buy things that aren't marked down. However, being Christmas time, I wanted to shop local and help out local businesses. I purchased two sweaters as gifts and wanted to get them gift wrapped. They wanted to charge $10 each for gift wrapping after I spent over $700! I think that's absolutely ridiculous! I cannot think of a local store that charges at all for their gift wrapping. Needless to say, I took the two sweaters and wrapped them myself. However, I was pretty disappointed and I would advise Diani to rethink their gift wrapping charge, especially because I'm sure it wasn't worth $10.

There wasn't a doubt in my mind that DIANI Living was going to be good, coming from the owner of DIANI and DIANI Shoes, but I had no idea it would surpass my expectations as much as it did. Stepping into the space, it was like my Pinterest inspiration boards came to life. The shop is meticulously curated with new and vintage pieces that delight the senses. Dalla Vita succulents are beyond gorgeous and add to the allure and charm of the store. I know whenever I'm on the hunt for the perfect gift or just want to liven up my home, I will find something unique and beautiful. I can't wait to keep shopping!

I wish I could give less than 1 star now. The owner replied to my review and told me she would take care of everything if I contacted her customer care e-mail. Well, I did that a few days ago and have not received a reply, let alone a resolution of my issue. It seems her desire to make sure her customers are happy is just a bunch of crap. Don't shop at Diani shoes. There are so many other stores in town that won't screw you over and a 1000 times less pretentious.

A bit pricey, but individuality is priceless, right? The shop received a shipment of leather/suede Alberto Fermani booties that got my eye. Most Italian shoes are a tad tight the first few wearings so I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these were right out of the box. That cinched the deal! If you're in the area, visit all three adorable Diani boutiques. Bri provides excellent customer service! You'll find her at the shoe gallery.

Be aware that this business has a very stringent and unyielding policy for returns!! When I recently tried to return a gift item that I'd belatedly discovered was non-functional, I was turned away,told they have a mandatory 10 day limit for ALL returns. They would not consider that it was a gift, nor did they seem to care that it was unusable. Unfortunately, I will no longer shop at the Diani stores, as much as I like their inventory. What I'd requested was reasonable in my opinion. They will not stand behind their merchandise if the date of sale is more than 10 days. They've yet to learn what the big stores know and what my father taught me at an early age, "The customer is always right!"

The ladies at DIANI are incredibly kind and helpful. I was trying to order a pair of shoes online that only had a few sizes left so reached out to ask about sizing and they emailed me right back with their recommendation to size down to the size that was available (not my usual size) and they were totally right! The shoes fit perfectly and if I had been able to order my normal size, they would have been too big. My purchase arrived quickly and was carefully packaged. High-quality inventory as well as high-quality service.

While visiting SB this weekend I stopped by this adorable boutique. I was greeted immediately with great service, and the sales girl suggested an items I instantly loved! She even helped assist me order a few additional items after I left the store and did not have time to come back in. Hardworking, knowledgeable sales staff are hard to come by and this gem of a store I will shop every time I visit!

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting DIANI in-person (ordered jeans online), but my communication with Hannah on their team has been unparalleled. Such amazing customer experience & super high touch. When a sale product went out of stock that I wanted, Hannah went out of her way to coordinate getting another for me with their wholesaler, and even extended the same sale price. She followed up promptly with tracking once available and when the package arrived, I found a handwritten note as well. DIANI's team gives the kind of customer care that used to be expected of a shopping experience, but that we've since forgotten. They made me feel truly appreciated & important. I will definitely be buying from them again and I look forward to visiting in-person next time I'm in SB! Keep up the great work ladies xx

Gorgeous gold ring and earrings for about $100! Made in Kenya and such a gorgeous color of gold. Also bought the perfect white tshirt today. I often find myself wandering into Diani Home, but visited the boutique for the first time earlier today and just loved it. The girl behind the counter was so lovely to me. Definitely will be back. I recently placed an order online because I sadly am not in Santa Barbara anymore. The product assortment is a very "clean bohemian" and chic. The navigation process is a lot smoother for a small boutique but could definitely still use some work. Overall, great store with assortment which is available online as well. This company's strong point is online social media interaction. The store owner frequently posts beautiful things on her own instagram and blog as well which makes you covet all the gorgeous things she sells.

Their online storefront is literally impossible to navigate. You need patience. A lot of it. But the store itself is absolutely charming. The selection of clothing is great - lots of euro brands and practical pieces. The owner is really nice and she has two freaking adorable dogs that I couldn't stop playing with when I was browsing. The only downside is that the prices are pretty high and sales are infrequent and not that great either.

Total Diani addict- everything superb: customer service, inventory, love it! Thanks for making me a complete Isabel Marant junkie- you girls ROCK!!! Shop here & be a cool girl ;)

As a long time resident of Santa Barbara and a champion of locally owned businesses, I am concerned about the excessively high staff turnover. The sales people here are some of the most professional and helpful in town, but they keep leaving. This makes for a strange shopping experience for a regular customer. I urge management to hang on to your good people because great professional service is one of the main reasons I keep coming back!

I purchased something very expensive as a gift and went to return it the following week to be told "store credit only...no monetary returns". If you are going to allow me or anyone to spend $800 in your store, at least have the conscience to let us know its not returnable for cash but for store credit, as this was not for me but a gift. The person ending up not liking the gift and I've ended up not caring for Diani in the least. You'd NEVER make it in a big city-don't trap people into returning to your little shop....no class.

I absolutely love the new DIANI home store. As a man, I've always had good luck at their clothing and shoe stores finding gifts for the women in my life, but now I can actually buy things that I love for myself. I live in LA, but whenever I visit SB, I always stop in a find something unique that I can't live without. Plus, the sales staff and the owners (a husband and wife team) are friendly and always seem to remember me. Highly recommend.

Diani is an amazing neighborhood gem of Santa Barbara! This boutique houses a great edit of some of my favorite European brands like Chloe, Isabel Marant, and Iro. Even among some of the more well-known domestic brands such as Rag and Bone, Raquel Allegra, and Mother, the selection of pieces are always unique but wearable and classic. I've definitely collected some amazing outfits that have paid well over their cost per wear at Diani and Diani Shoes. Even with the high end mix of brands, the sales staff and owner are always so friendly and welcoming. That warm Santa Barbara charm of Diani keeps me coming back to shop in their comfortable and fun environment.

So glad I discovered this amazing boutique! I just made my first purchase (two Sea brand tops). The selection is superb - a good mix of on trend and well cut pieces. I love the brands they carry - definitely more special than mainstream. Super excited to shop with them again - also a major bonus friendly and accommodating service!

I was in Santa Barbara for a convention and had some downtime for shopping. Thankfully, I ended up at Diani! The selection of clothing is amazing. But more importantly, the sales people are excellent. I absolutely hate jean shopping, but with the sales staff assistance, I was able to find my new favorite jeans! They were so helpful listening to what I was looking for and taking note of what I was wearing at the time. I highly recommend shopping at Diani!

Coming from out of town I walked into this store and I could hear sales associates talking poorly about a customer who had just walked out. When asked for help they were rude and off putting. I've ordered online before but going in store was a nightmare. The owner seriously needs to start realizing her workers have terrible attitudes and hire some new staff members. Not to mention when I walked into the shoe store there was no one in site. Really could improve on the positive vibe of the store.

Let me just say WOW. I created a yelp account for the purpose of writing this review. I have never even been to the store but saw a piece online that I loved and emailed the store with questions about prices sizing and fit. They were extremely friendly and accommodating! Possibly the best customer service I have ever received!

This is one of my favorite stops! There is wide selection at Diani with lines including but not limited to DVF, Isabel Marant, Rag & Bone, Elizabeth and James, and Parker. I've always been impressed with the sales staff. Diani is über chic!

I take shopping/spa trips with a friend about once per year. We chose Santa Barbara in 2015 and were initially at a loss for cute boutiques. Then we were directed to Diani. The selection was broad with one-of-a-kind items to current well known designers. The staff was helpful and fun and made the afternoon just disappear (as did my cash given all the fabulous options!) But better than all this - I bought an expensive pair of leather pants. I adore them and wore them twice when I discovered a manufacturers defect resulting in a split seam. I called the store months after returning to Norther California. Not only did they have my record, knew exactly what I purchased and when, but they immediately contacted the manufacturer and had the pants replaced at no cost. I just received them and this all took only a week. They (Mindy esp) have been lovely the whole way through for what could have been a one-time, out of town customer. Instead they got a customer for life!

FAVORITE BOUTIQUE IN SANTA BARBARA- well, make that boutiques! DIANI, DIANI Shoes and now their newest addition, DIANI Living, are truly the most beautiful places to shop. I have been a customer for about 10 years and have nothing but love for this store, its merchandise, staff & owner. Not only do they carry the BEST brands (Rag & Bone, Isabel Marant, Sergio Rossi, Oliver Peoples, etc.) but the customer service is top-notch. All of the DIANI girls greet you with a smile and make you feel right at home while helping you find whatever it is you are looking for. I now live in LA but head up to Santa Barbara a few times a year and always make time to pay a visit to my favorite stores. And when I can't make it in person, they have an amazing website with an equally helpful and knowledgeable e-commerce team that are always quick to answer questions (like how a certain shoe runs, size-wise, or even going so far as to try on a pair of sunglasses for me so I could see how they looked on!). They make the decision to shop local an easy one. Also, I highly recommend following them on Instagram... beautiful photos and great outfit inspo!

Diani carries amazing merchandise (Isabel Marant, Rag and Bone, Splendid, Velvet and more...) including a wide array of hard to find and super cool items. (They get in a slew of Isabel Marant, for example, and often things that are limited production and that sell out very quickly.) They are a dream to work with if you live out of town. Whitney, head of e-commerce and marketing, works with out of town clients via phone, email and internet to help customers select merchandise. I have worked with a number of other sales associates as well and they are all terrific. The Diani return policy is great for out-of-towners too...you can try things on and return within 7 days if it doesn't work out. For a small boutique with specialized and special merchandise, Diani is very easy to work with and very accommodating to customers. Thumbs up!

this place and the shoe store are both ridiculously priced! i wasn't impressed with the sales girls. i'd rather shop at lovebird where the vibe and price are much much more friendly.
