Diba Persian Restaurant (Richmond)

Visited for the first time and it was beyond our expectation. Food was amazing, great taste. Well presented. Good friendly service from Maj who recommended some lovely dishes and Neda with her warm friendly welcome. Great food with a good price. Atmosphere and decor of restaurant is enjoyable. Good Prime location next ro Richmond High Street. Cannot recommend enough!! Will definitely visit again soon!

Wow! Is 3rd time I go to a Persian restaurant and again the quality is overwhelming. Diba in Richmond is Authentic great food. Lovely service and great atmosphere, the food is fantastic!!! Sweet from the house and tea is great... one of the best bergamot tea I ever had( a tea pot is a lot for a person if you have limited time) I enjoyed maximum! The place is warm, welcoming and nicely decorated ! Highly recommended!

We went to Diba restaurant for my birthday whilst visiting Richmond. We choose the restaurant as it had great reviews and ratings on Google. It's a lovely atmospheric little restaurant with great decor and ambience. We were not disappointed. The two lovely ladies that served us were so friendly, kind and attentive. We had a lovely starter and main. The food was piping hot as I like it, really fresh, tasty and authentic. I was then kindly treated to a complimentary birthday icecream and Baklava which was such a treat. You guys go above and beyond for your customers. I had such a great birthday and you added to that with great memories I can cherish. Thanks again and keep up the good work. My only con 🙈 management should hold their meetings away from diners, but it's my only grumble. We look forward to dining here in the near future.

Very cute teapot with fresh mint tea. Persian tea is lovely too Decent amount of food, with fresh salad (and chips!) Definitely recommend the Lamb Special (I ordered shank), the sauce has a good flavour. The rice is special with beans mixed in. However, service can be improved

Lovely food and cozy ambience. The staff were super friendly and loved the portion of servings. The Persian tea is a must have in the end! Weekends can be super busy, so better to have a reservation beforehand.

This is a nice Persian restaurant offering delicious Iranian dishes, which can easily be found, and it’s also easily to walk to from the center. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and the service was quick. The dishes were very nicely presented and I liked the fact that they had few vegetarian dishes to choose from.

Excellent, delicious, vibrant, interesting, refreshing, filling, romantic, friendly.. I could go on. This place is both modern and classic with best of both worlds. Do yourself a favour and come here for dinner you won't be disappointed. My favourite part was the menus. They come in these big leather booklets which used to be common but have been replaced by little paper slips in most restaurants (perhaps to look trendy or perhaps as a cost saving measure). Making a choice is a hard, but interesting decision to make. The menu is full of exotic names which you haven't seen before, even in London where you can taste any cuisine you want. They all sound delicious going by the description. Hard to choose a favourite dish, but it probably was the aubergine spread starter which we put on a perfectly baked garlic naan, and washed it down with excellent house wine of course. Diba is now one of my favourite restaurants in London. I also found out it's a chain so will be looking to try other locations. Thank you for the service.

We really liked the enclosed outdoor seating area. It reminded me of the restaurants by the Mediterranean in Spain. The veggie main dish was alright, but the kebab was really good. Excellent service. We plan to revisit soon.
